Guest Reviews
- Falah (8/5): - The hotel was very good and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast was small but very good (cold cuts, cheeses, yogurt, croissant, eggs, juice, coffee, etc...). The room is clean and comfortable but a bit old, it needs a clear revamp. The hotel gives a very authentic chalet vibe. You can hear everything outside, but it's a very calm village and street so there is not much noise anyways.

- Craig (10/5): Nice accommodations but the restaurant is a “not to be missed” featuring a top chef and his lovely wife as the owners. - The rooms were roomy with a private bath. Quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was exceptional as the owner is a great chef and the real gem of this location is the restaurant! The chef is Gault Millau rated and the food we experienced at dinner in the restaurant was “ over the top” and not to be missed. A must do for any foody! Nothing

- Andreas (10/5): Great Weekend in Trun - Hospitality of Staff is exceptional. Outstanding Cuisine Quality! None
- Victor (10/5): Short night in Switzerland - Very nice hotel and location, with really kind and gentle staff.
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast, really good.
We didn't go for the restaurant but probably will return to taste their menu.
- Karin (1/5): Bad - The meat quality of the Steak Tartar for dinner was excellent, although the portion they served could have been a little larger considering the rather high price they charged for it. I did ask before ordering how large the portion was, but the serving person answered (in what seemed to me a rather condescending way) that she had "no idea" (and then made no attempt to find out). Although she did disappear into the kitchen in order to ask what the price for a full portion would cost (because it was only offered in the menu as an appetizer), she still never mentioned what the portion size would be...after receiving my meal, it was clear to me why. :-( This is not the case of most restaurants in Switzerland, where it is a rather common practice to write in the menu the amount of meat you are getting for the price. The breakfast was, however, excellent. They did give us what they described as a "quiet room", and it otherwise would have been...if it were not for the extremely loud creaking noise that the bed made, which woke us EVERY TIME we made even the slightest movement (I spent the entire night trying not to move). Also, the mattresses were lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Even more uncomfortable than that, however, was the high price, yet low-quality wine that was offered at dinner. The cheapest price per glass was 9.00 swiss francs (about US$ 9.00)! And even if that's the case, I really don't mind spending this kind of money for a glass or two, providing the quality of wine served for this price is at least reasonable...but it wasn't...the wine they served for this price was so sour and acidy that they would have been better off using it as red wine vinegar for the salad...we barely managed to drink it. A shameful way to treat your dining guests!!
- Luke (10/5): A beautiful hotel deep in the mountains - The staff was incredible. They were patient, flexible, and friendly. Everything was wonderful!
- Lachlan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Majdoleen (9/5): Superb - the authentic vibes, the beds are comfortable, and the organic food the
- Vladislav (10/5): Exceptional - A family-run hotel, a stunningly sincere attitude of the hosts to the guests. The hotel has a Michelin-starred restaurant with fantastically delicious food at a very reasonable price. Very convenient location - in a nice town right on Furka road - close to the main attractions and the best views.
