- Odell (8/5): - It was my 1st time in Panama and the Marriott Panama Hotel provided a very convenient experience for shopping and recreation. My experience wasn't without some cons though, I got locked out of my room twice due to a faulty locking mechanism but the staff swiftly sorted that issue out. The other con in my opinion, was that the breakfast options were very limited even though it was buffet style, I practically had identical options for the 4 nights I stayed at the the hotel. Overall the experience was very good with friendly staff and a clean property. I would highly recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Panama for the 1st time.

The front desk was accommodating and very professional. The breakfast was great however I believe a wider variety of food should be taken into consideration to be served. The hotel being located in the mall was so convenient, after a long day of walking, we. Ohms simply retire in our hotel room on one end of the mall. My two complaints were the smell of the room, the room was musty, most likely from the carpets. It’s due for a shampoo and should be aired out properly. My second complaint was that my room was located DIRECTLY under the 24/7 gym. I could hear weights dropping, machines clanking and even someone skipping rope. This occurred during the night time as well. I’m all for a 24/7 gym but something has to be put in place for the noise, relocate the gym if possible. All in all, my stay was great and I will visit again.

The service at the hotel is outstanding — truly a 100/10. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and always ready and willing to assist. The morning breakfast was excellent, offering a wide selection with something for everyone. My only con is that there is no direct view of the Pnama skyline and a ocean view.

Our room was clean and fresh, yet there were some deficiencies. A couple of lights in the bathroom were either out or intermittent. And the coffee maker would start but never put out a cup of coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, 10/10, whether you spoke Spanish or English. For the price we paid, I would expect everything to be near perfect. TIP: Request a room on the airport side. It's actually quieter than the street side.

Our room was clean and fresh, yet there were some deficiencies. A couple of lights in the bathroom were either out or intermittent. And the coffee maker would start but never put out a cup of coffee. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, 10/10, whether you spoke Spanish or English. For the price we paid, I would expect everything to be near perfect.
- Charita (8/5): - This hotel is attached to a mall which is super convenient and has over 700 stores including Zara! The hotel is also in walking distance to Starbucks. The hotel is about 10-20 mins away from most things in the downtown are but Ubers were cheap.

- collenb2024 (2/5): POOR Customer Service - We are retired Pensiondo Visa Holders living in Boquete, Panama. We have to go to Panama City once or twice a year for business and always stay at a Marriott property. We elected to try this one for our up coming trip and we reached out to the property to request the Jubilado rate for seniors in Panama. We received a response with a price that was the same as what we could book it for online through Marriott. When we questioned the rate, Jassivell responded by basically saying if we didn't like the rate we could book it online or go somewhere else. WOW!!! Polite way of saying if you don't like my price, tough sh*! This is the first time we have ever been treated like this by any Marriott employee and or any business in Panama over the last 5 years. We are stunned that this hotel has a FULL five star rating. Makes us believe it's like the cheap junk you see on Amazon with 5,000 5-star ratings. Someone is padding the reviews. We will never attempt to stay here again and we have advised everyone we know here in Panama and our friends in other countries to avoid this Marriott. We will be returning the the JW Marriott where we have always been treated nicely and with respect.

- saltsy372 (8/5): Comfortable mid range Marriott attached to Albrook Mall. - This is a good mid range Marriott in Panama City, attached to the Albrook Mall, less than 30 mins from airport and maybe 15 mins to Casco Veija and the Canal. Rooms were good size and better than the pics on line. King bed was pretty comfortable, room on 8th floor but overlooked the regional airport. No mini bar, but ice machine on floor together with cold water and room service available. They also had a small convenience shop downstairs where you could buy soda and snacks and take back to the room. Did not bother including breakfast in the booking. There is a small breakfast place attached to the hotel and the mall, Cafe Met, where they serve good breakfasts, pastries and coffee. Much cheaper than the restaurants in the hotel. I believe Cafe Met is actually part of the hotel. We arrived late the first night and ate in the main restaurant in the hotel, Canal Bistro. it was OK. But we ate out all the other nights. There is also a nice bar down stairs. We did not use this, however. Front desk was helpful as was the concierge with recommendations for restaurants and things to see. They have a tour desk in lobby, that offers competitive tours for the city, canal, museums, Casco Veija, marina and surrounding areas, plus transport to the airport. Stayed here for 3 nights as stopover on way to Costa Rica. Nothing to do in the immediate area, other than the mall and regional airport, but much cheaper to stay here and to use cabs from hotel to get where we wanted to go, than stay close to the attractions. Good hotels in the tourist areas and business district are very expensive. All in all, good place to stay if you don't mind being out of the main tourist areas.

Involuntary servitude to get get your own drinking water and only one single serving: one bottle to put it in no bag in trash cans (Imagine throwing away wet stinky onion, used baby diapers, and sanitary napkins with no bag and nothing to wrap them in!)
