Guest Reviews
- Jessica (10/5): - The room was adequate sized and the tv worked well. Nice shower!
- Rodney (10/5): - Nice stay.
- Renea (4/5): - We just needed a place to sleep for the night, door would only lkck from the inside. Wasnt a real problem but should have been taken cate of, tv didnt work, they offered us a late check out, which we were loading up to leave when the lady offerrd it. A partial refund would have been more appropriate.
- pat (10/5): - Great people
- Harry (8/5): Weekend - We really only needed a place to sleep didnt really spend much time there. But was very clean!! The ceiling light bulb had burned out and the TV did not want to turn on. Didnt need it though. After talking to the Manager She reset the TV and it worked fine. She also replaced the light bulb right away. She was very apologetic about both things. But I assured Her that it was ALL good! If You are ever in Knob Noster Missouri and need a place to stay. Laci's is the Place!!
- Pat (10/5): - Great experience
- Betty (6/5): - Everything was great except for the train coming by 3 times During the night.
- Dakota (2/5): - Said fully refundable didn't let me refund
- Eric (6/5): Weird, but nice - Average small-town motel experience. There was no body wash in my room, only shampoo. The room is oddly elevated and you had to step up to get into the bathroom. It's also RIGHT by the traintracks so you will get startled by loud train noises at some point. Otherwise, the room was comfortable with a nice bed and a good pieces of furniture, the staff were lovely and check-in was as smooth as can be. A little pricey compared to nicer chain hotels in Warrensburg, but not a bad option at all.
- MELISSA (10/5): - Its cozy and very convenient! The manager is always great and very helpful.
- Shawna (10/5): - It’s a little motel off the highway, the room was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. It’s not the fanciest room but it was clean, quiet and we plan on staying here every time we come to Knob Noster, Mo.
- Gerard (2/5): Not giving deposit back - This place was cool up u till I tried receiving my deposit back I was treated rudely asked to show my Service Dog Papers which is very Illegal and Hung up on basically denied my deposit even tho the room was cleaned of all trash and everything........they will never ever get my business again besides that it was nice and comfortable
- Angela (6/5): Basic room - The room was very basic and not very clean. The air conditioner was loud but effective. The bathroom was tiny. The shower was good, though, with good hot water and pressure. The TV worked and there was a small fridge. No closet.
- Clayshawn (2/5): - This place is trash
- Abigayle (6/5): - I loved how nice the staff was, she was super sweet and helped with whatever my partner and I needed. The room itself overall was fine, but slowly we found dirt or trash around the room that did not belong to us. And there was a blood stain in not only the top sheet but the fitted as well. The toilet the last two days of our trip decided to stop flushing entirely, we had to use the restroom at local restaurants or gas stations.
- Ewin (4/5): - The windows were extremely dirty. Weeds were over grown around two sides of the building that was not immediately visible to the public. There is a railroad 100 yards to the south of this property. Average two hour intervals from the trains 24 hrs./day. 100 yards to the north is a divided 4 lane highway. The presumed owner/ operator needs to be aware that the mask mandate has been lifted. This person acted horrified to interact with the public. Asked for two exta pillows
Deer in the headlight look. They did bring ONE pillow. Said they would check to see if they could round one up. Heres the kicker.. my vehicle and 3 others were the only one on the property of a 20 unit motel. You decide from here.🙃
- Tracy (8/5): - Older nice little motel
- Pa (8/5): - We just needed a place to rest for the night so we weren't picky. The noise from the highway was a distraction, but it was expected. However, I think I may have left my pillow with my favorite pillow case in the hotel room. Would love to get it back or something, if possible.
- Lisa (8/5): - floor dirty but everything else was good
- Nancy (10/5): - quiet
- Patrick (8/5): - The inside was very clean and had been updated. Great for the price.
- Quentin (6/5): - Easy automated check-in from a text alert. The location was close to what I was doing. I didn't like the "free wifi" as there were no instructions or codes given in the text alert and it was late when I got in. I didn't want to bother the office. Seems it would be a simple thing to include that info in the text alert for check in. I used my hotspot on my phone instead.
- Jeffrey (8/5): laci's - It was fine, clean room, could not find an ice machine but other than that it was a good experience.
- Charles (8/5): - Good place to stay for a good price. Easy check in
- Charles (4/5): - Just wanted towels
- Maryanne (8/5): - Because
- Linda (10/5): Knob Noster - Clean, comfortable, secure room. I asked for more pillows and was accommodated immediately. The motel is priced well and in a good location on Highway 50.
- Nicole (10/5): - Place was great for one night stay
- allen (4/5): It's close to the Fair. - As long as you have zero expectations, you will not be disappointed. No on site staff, washer n dryer, soda or ice. I stayed 11 days, my room wasn't made up one time. No one even came and changed my towels out. I had to go to the laundry mat in town to wash my towels. The bed was comfortable. The TV and cable was decent. Hot water pressure.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Hotel was clean and quiet. Great price for a one night stay.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Never got to check in was told nobody was there to take my money
- Verified traveler (2/5): - We booked a room there and we did not stay there the rain look like it was under construction it was dirty had had no toilet seat when we called to ask why there was no toilet seat and no table in the room before we've got off the phone the manager the owner in the background said they need to leave they complaining too much running a toilet seat on the toilet was too much complaining we do not recommend standing there stayed there before had a cute room but had to put up with people partying outside of my room for 5 or 6 hours before I could get the owner to go down there and make them leave so overall Lacey sucks
- Amanda (6/5): overall good stay - Towels and Linens smelt funny but outside of that it was quiet, comfortable, and I really loved the check in process 👍
- Daniel (8/5): - Very quiet place. Very comfortable room for the night
- Antonia (10/5): Best place in a long time - Amazing customer service. Great that it’s keyless entry! WiFi connection wasn’t so great - but other then that I loved my stay !! Definitely will go back again sometime !!
- JC (10/5): - Can beat it for $35-$45 a night. Nice no hassle check in that you are texted a code for room entry once your reservation is confirmed.
- Tammy (4/5): Mediocre Motel - at Best. - This motel is an old-fashioned - 1050's style "motor court" - a drive up to your door type of motel". When it was 1st renovated about 15 years ago - it had nostalgic charm. Not so today. It is not very well maintained, there is no ice machine - or even an office available. You are sent a password and keycode to get into your room. The owners are NOT locals, and do not speak English very well at all (if you call them at the number listed for the motel - they are not on-site.)
- Towerdogg (10/5): - Quaint!! And quit!!
It is very peaceful and relaxing had a good night of sleep
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Unorganized not really helpful yes in the rain I even know Lobby the rooms are playing not even a phone definitely not worth the money I would even like a refund actually
- Verified traveler (6/5): Kinda weird, cheap though , clean, - No employees around, communicated by text, no room keys just a room door code text. Tried to get a printed receipt but office lockdown, communicated through a Ring Doorbell, so got the email receipt.
Question: are there humans there, or A.I. Driven business.
- allen (10/5): Awesome - Great place. I stayed 11 days for the State fair. Super comfortable beds, big TV, refrigerator, microwave, hot tv. The digital door locks are tricky at first but overall a great quiet place. Good value.
- DW (4/5): - We tried to check in early and the only people there were a couple of guys working on a truck out front. The owner would not refund the money we had booked with.
- Richard (6/5): Review - The front desk receptionist was great. There is certainly pride in ownership, but the facility is far past dilapidated.
- Steve (8/5): Knobnoster s colorful accommodations - My wife and I stayed for two nights while we were in town for a wedding. Conveniently located off of the main highway and priced right
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Looks really cool on the outside, the inside was not! Microwave barely worked, the air conditioner kept going on and off. I do not recommend it!
- Lynda (6/5): Sparse but clean! - If you’re just looking for a spot to lay your head and this is ideal for you. The bed was comfortable, but other than that it was very sparse. Our sheets had a hole in them, but we could tell they were clean so that didn’t affect us. So if you wanna place just to put your body at night and you don’t care about the ambience and you want something for a good price then this is your deal.
- JOEDIE (2/5): Bedbugs - Bedbugs
- Verified traveler (4/5): Bland - The county sheriff knocked on our door at 10:30 looking for somebody. Not us.
- Q (8/5): - Nice older remodeled place...close to Knob Noster State Park.
- Bronnie (6/5): - Just a clean place to sleep great for the price right of the highway
- Verified traveler (8/5): Clean - It is a small motel that served its purpose. Everything was sold out for parent weekend at UCM in Warrensburg, and this was the closest they had. Very basic - but clean. There is a train that goes by a lot at night (3 or 4 times), so if you are not used to that, that could be an issue. Definitely not a place to just "hang out", but just to sleep.
- Barbara (6/5): - nothing stood out, hot when we checked in I don't have much to say for a last minute need for a room. Nothing exceptional.
- Sarah (8/5): - Went to visit family. Was a decent place not far from town.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Nice place. Clean and comfortable. Great value. - Bathrooms could use an upgrade. But overall, clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was very nice. A little small but close to my event. Very clean
- George (4/5): - I would not recommend this place to anyone. I was ashamed that my wife had to experience such a low class motel.
- Frank (6/5): Only hotel available - Needed to be in Warrensburg for the weekend and this place was the closest available. Nothing fancy but all I needed was a bed and shower and this did the trick.
- Tammy (10/5): Great for the price - This is a great motel if don't want to pay $100 for a room. The room was clean, furnishings had a little wear but still functional, the staff was great, the bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge, coffee pot and microwave. My daughters at UCM, I'll stay here again .
- cheryl (4/5): - Pictures on interent are deceiving! Nothing like it shows!
- Lily (8/5): Inexpensive, nothing-fancy, roadside Motel - This was the last place available in the area for eclipse 2017. The staff was remarkably pleasant and accommodating. The room looked just like they do in the photos. Other reviewers must have thought they were getting a different hotel than what the outside showed, which is obviously a well-worn old-school motel, like those in classic road-trip films. The interiors have been cosmetically updated, and were fine. I travel a lot for work, and usually stay in much nicer hotels with far more amenities, and many of the complaints I've seen people post about this little casual place (a dirty surface, faulty appliance, etc.) I've also seen at far more expensive hotels. These are hotels... We would stay there again, for sure. It's just right for a sleep/shower quick visit. I'd suggest folks keep reasonable expectations when booking into a property & price like this.
- john (4/5): Nice not enough - Laci's Country Inn, as pictured (complete with gazebo), seemed to be a cute little privately owned motel. The location fit our needs, so we booked it.
While the owners were friendly and pleasant, the motel was not. It is a very old small motel, that while "remodeled", needs a lot of work.
The large front facing window was broken, but taped.
The remote control air conditioner was the noisiest we've ever experienced.
Room was very small, and badly needed a few days with windows open.
Gazebo was nice but furniture on it was broken. Grass around area had not been cut in weeks.
We were charged $2.00 per day hotel service charge...not sure what services were offered other than making the bed.
Nice owners, unsatifactory motel.
- Robert (6/5): Old style roadside motel - An old and dated motel. Not my usual place to stay but had no other choices nearby. A few dead bugs in room. Probably not atypical for a roadside motel but I am just not used to this type of motel.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good - A quiet setting in a nice area. Easy to get to. Righr off the highway
- Verified traveler (8/5): Somewhat satifisfied - Owners were very nice and helpful. Rooms were just "ok" for the price if the stay. For the quality of the Rooms, it's a bit overpriced.
- Krista (6/5): Nice hotel for the price. - One night stay. The restaurant next door is awesome.
- Shannon (6/5): Disappointed - The motel was clean, but very old. Which made it feel dirty, although it wasn't. The tiles in the bathroom were old and discolored as well as the tub and shower. The bed was so tall, at 5' 2" tall it was hard for me to get in and out of. The air conditioner was a window unit, it was either freezing when it was on or hot when it was turned off. Needless to say, didn't sleep well. Will not stay here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not so much - I was offered an upgrade to a room with 2 queen beds at arrival, which was nice but linens were off. Can't imagine how old they were. Sheets pillows towels all smelt musty. and looked like they had hung in a smoking room for years. The carpet was clean. The beds comfortable. I arrived at 3:00am - too tired to keep driving and did get some good sleep
- Mari (8/5): Week-end May 13 - The motel signage was a bit hidden we passed it and had to go around a large block. It was an older motel but pretty well maintained. We were disappointed that there was not a breakfast available. There was also a train track that ran close.
- Rob (4/5): oder in room - Smelll of sewer in room and train drives by several times a night very noisy
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Room is small, but very nice, clean and comfortable, a good value. Staff was excellent.
- Zoe (8/5): Friendly service and clean rooms - This is a locally owned business. The family is just as sweet as can be. It's small, only 11 rooms so there isn't a lot of noise or cars coming in and out. The rooms are clean, the tv, air & heat work. For the price there are no complaints & would stay here again without question.
- John M. (10/5): A high-value lodging - perfect location allowed us to visit KC and relatives in the area nearby also
- Louis (10/5): very nice - We were very pleased with our stay. The room was meticulously clean and it was obvious the owners wanted to please.
- tammy (6/5): Nice little motel - This motel was good for the price. Very economical. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. The rooms looked a bit worn, but acceptable for the price. There was a very nice gazebo on the property that we enjoyed sitting in the evening and again in the morning.
- Q (8/5): Nicely remodeled older motel. - This is a very nicely remodeled older motel. I really love the decor. It's no 5 star, but how many "5 stars" really are? I've stayed here several times over the past few years and will so again. Very friendly folks own and run the place.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Overpriced - Now I know why there were no photos of the bathroom in the description . . . terrible. Moldy shower curtain, poor chalk paint job, sink pulling away from wall. Towel rods and shelves falling off wall. WAY over priced!
Prepare for a sleepless night with a major train route right next door. Train coming by every hour of the night blowing the whistle.
- Brittany (4/5): Cheaper is not always the way to go - Bathroom was quite dirty, mold and mildew in the bath tub, also woken up by trains 3-4 times that night.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very Nice - Very pleasant stay. Enjoyed the gazebo for our morning devotions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Old couple's review - Not fancy, very comfortable, good value, clean, neat, well maintained. Have recommended this as a place to stay and will do so again.
- scott (10/5): Good stay - This hotel is run by a couple that is very nice, and is especially interested in making sure their guests have a great stay. Highly recommend
- sk (4/5): - Small room with soured linen and pillows on bed. Staff did exchange pillows , still has the smell . We will never stay there again . Should have been a 20. Room.
