- Kim (8/5): - It was roomy and great location for activities we did. The room was very cold when we came in and had to have someone come to check it. They had to get a remote that controls the temp which was not there when we arrived. Also the TV had issues and could not watch live or regular TV.
- Jennifer (10/5): A Gold-Inn Gem in Hot Springs - Spent the weekend in Hot Springs, perfect base camp. Just east of downtown quick access to National Park, walkable but we parked downtown. Go east and back road to Gulpha Gorge Campground is peaceful spot to enjoy nature. Our room #4 was super clean and stylish, fun color combinations/design and historic photos of nearby landmarks. Toilet area is small, but doable for weekend. Rest of bathroom is wonderful, great vent, lit mirror, and tub/shower with plenty of room, full length mirror inside bathroom door. The AC worked great and kept the room cool and a ceiling fan. TV has a firestick. Liked parking directly in front of room and not paying downtown parking prices. We received door code morning of arrival and it was easy to operate. Never saw staff or needed anything, but they're a text away and supposedly quick to respond. The main road is just outside which I knew so had my white noise machine which did the trick for the late night motorcycle traffic. Overall they've done a beautiful job on the remodel of this property. There's a few tables and chairs on the patio, a great spot to hang out and a table and chair outside each room with hanging ferns. The mini fridge was roomy, we fit our Delucas pizza box inside. There's also a microwave and coffee maker we didn't use. Red Light Roastery just down the road, but only open Mon-Fri. Kollective Coffee & Tea for weekend. Golden Raised Donuts is next door. We loved our stay at Gold-Inn, will return!

- Laura (8/5): - This is a renovated old-time motor inn. Our room was very clean with nice towels and bedding. The room is small so if you are planning on hanging out in your room a lot this may not be the place for you. It's about 10- 15 minute walk to downtown, which is perfectly safe, but not very picturesque.

When I walked in the room was freezing, floor tiles were peeling, my bed sheets smelled of smoke, a/c was filthy and dropped dirt on to the bed, towels were scratchy, and black fuzzy spots were on the lights. The bath tiles are retro, my partner really liked them.

- 116LS_ (8/5): Comfortable vintage feel - Large, airy space - cool and comfortable. Cute kitchen area and vintage bathroom. Location just out of the congestion of the main downtown area. Funky retro feel - were pleased with everything.

- Wayne (10/5): Cute little rooms that are very clean - The king bed was very comfortable and better then most beds I've found in other Motels/Hotels. The room and bathroom were spotless. It was very well maintained. The room it's is small but enough for two people. It was also located near things that we had interest in which was a plus. Also, I liked how they handled accessing the room. Instead of a keycard or actual key - they have a doorlock with a keypad and they give you a passcode to use.

- Leiah (10/5): An elegant historic manor, updated beautifully - Highly recommended!! Built in 1905 by Samuel Fordyce, founder of Mountain Valley Spring Water, the original manor house is still part of the property. It was my pleasure to stay in the manor itself, and it was a lovely experience! The rooms are all apparently newly refreshed, with soothing blue-gray walls and bright white trim. Beds are firm memory foam, which my back adored. The baths have a very historic feel in the tile work, offset by a modern glass shower in my room with all new fixtures. One of the rooms I checked out in the motorcourt section was smaller but no less elegant, with a tub with a tile surround. If you travel to Hot Springs, stay here! Close to everything, it is in a quiet location even though it is on a main road. I slept very well. I didn't want to leave and come back home, it was that calming and relaxing with a historic feel and modern amenities.

If your staying for one night it would be okay just dont take the sheets off. Overall was not terrible but for the price of one night i would have expected better.

Tub needs resurfacing or replacement, wall paneling was peeling away, not a single floor was even remotely level. Fully no contact stay, which also means no room cleaning during the stay. There was a hot plate and pots and pans still new in packaging, min-fridge, and microwave that were nice for heating up leftovers. Overall, it worked for what we were looking for this trip, but I probably wouldn’t stay here again.

All we had to do was text them and they appeared within 5 minutes with batteries. The pet relief area was very convenient and well maintained. Bed was comfy, clean room. Very close to downtown. Would absolutely stay here again.

Only thing would be refreshing on the sheets every other day but besides that nothing was wrong with it. My wife and I had a great time.

The property was close to downtown and very convenient. From the outside, it looked a little rundown, but our room was very nice, and the price was extremely reasonable.

- Paige (10/5): - Stayed in Unit 12 (king room) on our way through town. Bedroom was small but spotless! Bathroom had been recently renovated with a cool lighted mirror and was the cleanest of any place I’ve ever payed to stay. Quiet and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay there again!
- Benny (8/5): My go-to lodging when in Hot Springs - This is my go-to lodging when passing through hot springs. The rooms are minimal and clean , perfect for a night passing through town. It’s far enough from the main drag that you don’t get a lot of tourists / but close enough to walk to all the restaurants.
- Jacqueline (4/5): - Know what you're getting if you stay here. The pictures of property are old and misleading. Had high expectations based off of both this site and Gold Inn's website. The room was mostly what we expected, clean, however there were some basic upkeeping that should be done. There are weeds in all the cracks and the outdoor seating area is unappealing. There's NO pool - they filled it in and NO breakfast, although both are advertised. Contactless check in isn't an option, its the only way. The only contact for items needed etc is via texting. The two guys working there weren't unkind, but almost seemed like we were a bother when we walked around and asked a question. The room was fine, but we were very disappointed as it was not what was advertised.

- Edward (10/5): Nicely renovated motor hotel. - The property is an older motor hotel that’s been renovated. Quiet and located just north of city center. We stayed in the cottage (#16), and found the accommodations met our needs for our short stay. Would stay here again.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Much different - It seems to be under new management since last I was there. The charm is gone and the rooms are more motel-ly. The bathroom tile was still impeccably clean though and I loved the addition of the pet area.

- Jerry (4/5): Will Not Stay Again!!! - Let me start by saying room was clean & updated, but that's where the good part ends... the person in the office acted like we were bothering her when we went in. It was the most uncomfortable bed we ever slept in. It would have probably been more comfortable on the floor, the TV did not work right and no remote to use on it that actually worked on the said TV, couldn't even watch from our Netflix account because it would try to download then tell us it couldn't... I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE... you should find another place.. don't understand how they got good ratings at all...

We were in room 16 and it was perfect- had everything we needed and even updated AC and bathroom. We traveled throughout the Midwest, and as college students we wanted to make sure we weren’t break the bank: this was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Don’t mind the bad reviews; book it!

- Y7409FQkellyj (8/5): Solid Stay for the Price - This hotel was pretty much what you'd expect for the price—in a good way. It was clean and the bathroom had some nice modern updates. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe the entire time, which is always a top priority for me. The check-in process was a little unconventional but worked out fine. I booked my room less than an hour before arriving and had to text the number posted on the office door. Everything was handled via text, and it took about 20 minutes total. Honestly, I’ve waited longer at hotels with front desks, so no complaints there. Overall, a solid, no-frills stay that delivered on the basics and made me feel secure and comfortable.

- Brandy (10/5): Super cute and very clean! - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean and quiet. It was simple with no frills but we knew that when we booked and were perfectly fine with it. The office staff I spoke with was extremely friendly and helpful. The motel is an older property but had been remodeled and is super cute. I would definitely recommend staying here and would definitely stay here again in the future!

- Catherine (6/5): - It was not what it looked like in the pictures. It was self check in so there was no manager on the property. There were two queen beds. One was saggy on one side and the other side sloped down towards the saggy side. The sheets were nubby. I woke up with a backache and thought I would have to cancel my stay. The other bed was fine so I stayed. But there were disrepair problems. Cracked paneling and paneling peeling from wall. Also broken glass on dresser that I almost cut my hand on. Also, there was no table and chair or desk in the room to sit and have your coffee or write on. There was some outdoor seating but it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since last summer. There was no privacy in the outdoor seating area, just a small porch in front of the door. There was some communal outdoor seating on a lawn but again, it was not clean and the lawn needed mowing. On the positive side the room was clean and there was a mini fridge. The bathroom was nice and it was very quiet. Also, conveniently located near Bathhouse Row and the downtown shopping area. When I contacted the management about issues I was having with the heat/AC unit, they came right over and were very friendly.

- Elaine (8/5): Cute retro place - Overall it was a decent place to stay and good for the price. Loved that it had a bed in the front room but really needed to be outfitted with proper size bedding. My backside kept getting exposed and cold. And other than they desperately need to provide a bath mat for safety,(which we requested but did not receive) it was a fun experience. I would go back if in the area.
