- Carolyne (10/5): Host very welcoming, excellent freshly cooked breakfast, would highly recommend - Very spacious room
- Andrew846 (3/5): - Breakfast was very good The material state of the room was poor. There was a lack of basic amenities such as bottled water, shower gel, etc
- Sandra (9/5): Excellent - Great location, stunning views and great breakfast. Tracy was lovely and very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Nothing, a small fridge would be a welcome addition.
- ines vera (9/5): Sehr schöne Lage, optimal für eine kleine Auszeit. - Direkt am Wasser, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür und tolles Frühstück und eine sehr liebe Gastgeberin. -
- Tracey (9/5): Great find, Host was friendly, perfect relaxing Seaview. - Room was very spacious, lovely sea view, comfortable and cosy . Plenty of refreshments supplied i.e. tea and coffee. A short walking distance to the town on the east side of the river mouth. Great breakfast, cooked fresh with a range of cereal, fruit juice and teas and coffee. Host polite and friendly, and came outside to greet us as we were arriving late evening, Thank would definitely return.
- Marian Farmer (10/5): Great place for telaxing stay - Staff were really friendly.
Breakfast well cooked to order.
Clise to tiwn. There was nothing not to like
- Mandy (8/5): - A lovely place everything was there what you needed
Needed a ground floor for mum
Breakfast was fab, very friendly hosts A little bit out of the way
- Paul (10/5): A lovely little B&B. - A lovely B&B, which is conveniently located to everything. It’s a little walk into the main centre of Looe.
- David (10/5): Nice and relaxing 😊 - Friendly owners and near town centre N/A
- Jenny Appleford (10/5): Comfortable rooms in a fabulous location with a brilliant host. - Tracey at Sawyers is just lovely. I booked this room for my mum as our house in Looe has LOTS of steps up to it from the road and my elderly mum cannot manage them. I therefore needed her close by but somewhere on the flat. I really hit gold with Sawyers. Not only is the whole property on the flat, so my mum could get around OK, but Tracey is just lovely, really going out of her way to help my mum. She put a seat in the walk-in shower for her as well as a grab rail and extra floor mats. The room has lovely views out to Hannafore Beach (as do they all) and was warm and comfortable, Tracey had even put the heater on before we arrived. It has a comfy sofa, tea & coffee station and mum said the bed was really comfy. Mum also raved about the breakfast, it kept her going all day. It was all lovely - thank you :-)
- Mans (8/5): - Tracey was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast. Clean room, excellent shower. Great location for access to SW coastal path Little bit of a walk to town but that was known prior to stay. Only issue if you have children is there is a short stretch of road with no foot path
- Matthew (8/5): Great place to stay as a base to explore - Excellent location great host superb breakfast. Parking brilliant No issues
- Nikki (10/5): Best B&B in Looe - Brilliant location, lovely room and Tracy was an excellent host.
Very nice breakfast, parking and great value for money.
Will definitely go back.
A+ That i had to go home 😆
- Deborah (10/5): - Tracy was so friendly and a great host , the room was very comfortable and peaceful. Not too far to walk into Looe. Breakfast was very tasty and you can choose what you'd like daily. You can see the sea from your bed and park your car right outside your room, just perfect, we booked to go back next year.
- Vaughan (10/5): A proper break in a very welcoming accommodation - The welcome and service from Tracey was exceptional. We felt that nothing was too much trouble and will definitely recommend her to others. Something that she couldn’t change which was the road noise but the sea view from across the road was lovely
- Smith (10/5): - Friendly land landlady breakfast lovely lovely views
- David (9/5): Really enjoyed our stay and will be back - Lovely property - great hostess - tasty breakfasts. Room was warm clean and a good size. Shower was amazing and the towels were white and fluffy! The views were spectacular. Nothing
- heidi (9/5): -
- Richard (9/5): Lovely stay, will return there - The breakfast was lovely, the bacon and saussge are locally sourced and delicious, lots of choice

- Tracy (10/5): A few in Looe - Tracey is very friendly and helpful. She makes a lovely breakfast. The accommodation is great as is the location. Would highly recommend staying here. Nothing
- diane (9/5): Suited us for our short stay. - A wonderful view over the sea, easy access (10 min walk to town albeit uphill coming back) and parking. Not brand new but loved and homely atmosphere. Breakfast was great; juice, cereal then choose what you would like from a full English (a tick sheet supplied each morning). Hairdryer supplied. Parking right outside.
Hostess, Tracey, was very welcoming, helpful and was able to fulfill all our requests.
Would definitely come back and my husband would say I am fussy! Aircon for heat was a little noisy but turned it off at night anyway so didn’t bother us (-2 outside and still bearable), would advise taking slippers as floor tiled. No toiletries supplied but that was probably our fault for not reading the description properly. We had 2 rooms; the back room/unit that is for sale was a little musty, we would not have been able to stay in there due to health reasons.
- Marie (10/5): Sawyers was a great place to stay, we thoroughly recommend it to others. - The location was great, beautiful sea views which constantly change with the tides going out and coming back in. Only a short walk into Looe to the shops, pubs and restaurants. Our lovely friendly host Tracey cooked a fabulous breakfast each morning which kept us going until dinner time. There wasn’t anything to complain about
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Sonia (7/5): -
- stewart (10/5): Would stay again. - Lovely open sea views in a quiet area of the town.
- Caroline (10/5): Very enjoyable - Return visit. Still spotlessly clean. Very good breakfast and landlady lovely N/A
- Paul (10/5): Excellent - Excellent service & beautiful view Nothing
- Robert (9/5): Kernowfornia festival stay - Free parking, friendly owner, excellent breakfast Tv didn't work properly
- Jean (10/5): A complete relaxing two days. - Its position was stunning, bit concerned about walk down to Looe, but in fact it was easy and very pleasant. Our welcome was very friendly nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast just perfect, cooked fresh by Tracey who is a great host and very nice lady too Nothing
- Finan (7/5): Enjoyed our stay and we were made very welcome by the owner - Views spectacular. Property warm and comfortable and well located for walking to Looe Felt a bit “ disjointed” , having to walk outside to access dining area and not very private as glass doors opened out on to small car park and pavo
- Jean (10/5): brilliant - Room was spacious, as was the shower room, not all cramped up like some B & Bs. The owner was so friendly it was like we had known each other for some time, although we did live in that area for a few years and became nearly locals, we were able to relate to quite a few people that we knew. . the whole set up is so different to how it was when we lived there, and the current owner has made a very good job of making it like home from home. nothing needs to be done
- Gilian (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed this break - Plenty of options to choose from Nothing
- Andrea (10/5): Highly recommended - Amazing choice of breakfast and fantastic quality, absolutely delicious and set us up for our busy day.
Tracy was a fantastic host.
Nice clean bedding and towels.
Free wifi There was a bit of dust in the room on light/ electric sockets
- Paul (8/5): Lovely location and great staff - Great location and Tracey was a one person army-very welcoming. Room was big/warm too Some quirky bits:
- had to fill a form in on arrival when all details were on booking.com
-handwash aside no toiletries: Tracey gave us some body wash but only place I have ever stayed where not provided or communicated before arrival
-breakfast form was a novelty
Not bad-just different!
- Ian (10/5): Superb for walkers of southwest coastal path . - Convenient and away from noise of town but close enough to walk in. Aircon for a B&B, excellent breakfast and the owner is lovely Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): - Tracey was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and the food was excellent, along with a lovely clean room on the ground floor. Excellent, thank you.
- Anne (9/5): Great stay in looe - Very good breakfast cooked to your order good selection of cereals + juices and plenty of tea and coffee

- Steve (10/5): First visit to Cornwall and Looe knocked our socks off. Beautiful little town with many attractions - Location is stunning. On the cliff top looking out to sea and less than ten minutes walk to town. The car was parked right by our room so easy unloading too.
- SANDRA (8/5): -
- jackie (10/5): - Had a lovely 7 days in looe. Sawyers b&b made our stay perfect & that was due to lovely friendly staff especially Tracey the owner. The location was perfect for us fantastic sea views, short walk down into town (could be problem for people with walking difficulties).Lovely accommodation equipped with everything you would need spotless clean. Quiet location (had the best sleep which I usually struggle with when away). The cooked breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice cooked by the wonderful Tracey & plenty of it which sets you up for the day. Should you need lunch (which we didn't) there is lovely hotel next door which serves food to the public also short walk in other direction a cafe, & cafe bar serving food. We enjoyed looe so much we've booked again for next year & of course stopping at sawyers b&b as we loved it so much it made our holiday the perfect get away & can't wait to go back. N/A.
- Thorsten (8/5): -
- Neil (10/5): One of the best B&B we have ever stayed at - room was clean and fresh with an amazing view and air con, shower was big and powerful. The view from the room was just amazing over looking the sea as the the sun rose was magical. Free parking right outside the door of your room. Breakfast was really tasty freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Tracey is a really lovely host. Only gripe was the light from the bathroom lit up the room when someone went to use the toilet during the night, would like to see a small blind or some black out material over th glass pane.
- Shane (10/5): - Lovely place. Super friendly owner and a lovely breakfast cooked. Great views straight out to the ocean. Deffo recommend.
- Ray (8/5): - Friendly welcome , great breakfast Nothing
- Mark (9/5): - Location, view and the host Tracy, who couldn't do enough for you. No toiletries such as shampoo etc.

- Susan (10/5): Peaceful and very enjoyable. - Great location, quiet and nice stroll into Looe for places to eat and shops.
Such a warm, friendly greeting from our host.
Fabulous breakfast. Great to see the sea from our room and be able to park in front of the room, too. Highly Recommended.
- Ian (10/5): - Nice view. Parking. Good breakfast.
- Shanie (8/5): - Warm welcome from the host. Very comfortable room with a good sea view. Good location. Superb breakfast.
- Sawer (9/5): Really nice and cosy, really enjoyed location and room. Food was really nice on the breakfast to. - The location was amazing and staff friendly and helpful to. Maybe sky card could have been included for all channels on th tv.
- Stella (9/5): Fantastic - Location, power shower , facilities in the room, beds so comfy
- Marie (10/5): - Tracey the host is absolutely lovely, welcoming and friendly.
She also makes the best breakfast 😋 I've ever had.

Outstanding We loved everything
- Daniela (10/5): -
- Janet (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Chilled and relaxed with stunning views. - Lovely chilled and relaxed atmosphere with a great host and fantastic breakfast!!
If you don't like to walk too much, this place is located up a rather steep road. However, the walk down to and up from Looe has beautiful views and helps walk off the pasties and cider! Taxi's are a very reasonable price if you prefer not to walk.
Would I stay here again? 100%
- Hans (8/5): -
- Frank (7/5): Enjoyable, but we missed the wifi - Good location, good sized room, friendly owner. No wifi in the room

- Nicola (10/5): - Excellent location! Tracy was a fab host, the room was lovely with the best view, and the breakfast was the best. Will be back!
- michael (9/5): -
- Michael (7/5): - Die Lage war super. Der Meerblick sehr schön. Das Bett war nur 1.90 Meter lang und somit für große Menschen zu klein. Außerdem ließen sich die Fenster in unserem Zimmer nicht öffnen.
- Siu Lin (7/5): Love the town. - View and breakfast Bed was too soft.
- jan (10/5): Perfect stay. - Tracey was great she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was good.. the breakfast was amazing. Plenty of choice.
- Mike (10/5): What a great find - Great location, very comfortable, great breakfast, and couldn’t have been looked after better.
- Greener (10/5): Excellent location, wonderful breakfast, spotless accommodation and Tracy is lovely nothing too much trouble - Everything Nothing
- peter (10/5): - Excellent sized room with a sea view. Fantastic cooked breakfast and fab shower.
- Makey (9/5): -
- Martyn (10/5): Stunning views - Delightful little B&B. Tracy is very attentive to your needs and the breakfast is superb, fresh cooked and delicious. The view from the window is outstanding and the room very spacious. Overall a fantastic 3 nights stay
- Jeff (10/5): We would definitely come back - Fabulous location, nice big room with terrific shower room (really powerful) Everything we needed. Tracy the owner was lovely and did a great breakfast. Parking right outside our room, sea view, and the location on the seafront was perfect just a short walk to a bar and restaurant and a smashing beach kiosk just up the road. A bit of a walk down the road to the West side of Looe, and a longer walk round to the main town in East Looe with some nice places to eat. Elderly or infirm might find the walk down to the town too onerous, but there are plenty of taxis. Most of the walk is on level ground though.
- Barnes (2/5): Would notstay again - The breakfast was excellent and tha parking was also excellent The fact that the room was never made up had to use the same towels for the whole week bed never changed and a foul smell from the shower trap and sink rubbish bins never emptied for the whole week and no toiletries for a AA 3 star property east facing room curtains so thin so woken up at 0430 with bright sunshine
- Helen (10/5): Lovely stay in Looe - Great location - fabulous sea view. Right on the South West Coast Path. Very easy check-in. Parking included. Lovely breakfast; a very friendly owner - nothing was too much trouble. Close to road but quiet. Short and pleasant walk into town but far enough away to be peaceful. Air conditioning in the room was very welcome as it was very hot those days we stayed. Thank you Tracey.
- Carol (8/5): Great location that was ideal for us - coastal path walk to the right and the town to the left - A very warm friendly welcome from our host, Tracey. Large spacious room overlooking the bay. Good location, 5/10 min walk downtown the beach, cafes, bars and shops. Breakfast cooked to order with a good choice of items to choose from. Plenty of parking. Right on the coastal path to Polperro.
- Roger (9/5): Great value stay great host - Breakfast was great view good Aircon in room
- Lucy (8/5): - Comfy bed great view of sea. Good cooked breakfast. Parking right outside
Good hotel next door to eat White curtains made it v light so had to use an eye mask.
- Angela (10/5): Pleasant stay - Location
Friendly
Good breakfast Nothing
