- ronan (4/5): The place kinda had a epstein island vibe. Better places to be found. - The sun loungers were relaxing and some nice private areas could be found near the pool. Its location is also great with the sea so close and a short walk to bar/resturant where the sunset can be enjoyed on the rocks. Which is really only something we like about the location. The breakfast was really good and lots on offer. The room was satisfactory size but noise from floor above not great. Underground carpark useful. Awkward common parts interior decorating, the reception is new looking but feels cliche and dated. The smell of the carpets and dim lights in the corridors. In our room we could hear the people upstairs walking around in their heels. The spa facilities are poor. The pool water felt unclean and booking the spa access was mixed information from different staff. If you're looking for a spa specifically, i'd look elsewhere. Its not 5* spa resort Couples massage was average, nice staff, just not worth the price tag. The waiters at the pool bar could do with some more training on service and personal hygiene was not great. Easiest thing they could do to modernise would be remove the cringe elaborate seats and some of the art pieces. Replace the carpets and improve the lighting in the corridors. Clean up the spa pool and look closer at staff training.

A big compliment to the housekeeping team who maintained the room and the entire hotel! Spotlessly clean! The drawbacks are: there is no full-length mirror in the room, and the hotel’s beach club has outrageous prices for cabanas and service, which are not up to that level.

- Jürgen (9/5): Es war ein schöner erholsamer Urlaub in einem schönen Ambiente und fantastischer Natur - Die Zimmergestaltung, der Poolbereich vom Hotel und der Strandbereich von MA MA waren hervorragend . Für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung ist es nicht gut wenn der Lift von der 2. Etage gesperrt ist . Die Zubereitung von zusätzlichen warmen Speisen am Morgen war mehrere Tage nicht in Betrieb . Die Aussicht vom Balkon war nicht Meerblick(mehr Häuser als Meer) und dessen Ausstattung im Verhältnis zum Zimmer nicht angemessen (zwei Stühle und ein Tisch).

- Nicolas (9/5): - Très confortable. Personnel agréable et pro. Rien. C'est un peu loin du port et du centre village, mais ils viennent d'aménager une zone de place privée accessible en 3' à pied. Très bien.
- Ingrid (9/5): Bra läge nära fint vatten - Bra läge med fin snorkling bara en kort 5 minuters promenad från hotellet. Det fanns restauranger på kort promenadavstånd men ett par kvällar promenerade vi även in till den lilla stan där färjan gick ifrån och åt där. En dag hyrde vi cyklar och cyklade runt ön och ut på Caprera och en dag tog vi en båttur ut till Isola Santa Maria. Vi var där mot slutet av September och för en svensk var det inga problem att snorkla i 20 min utan våtdräkt men ändå inte så våldsamt mycket folk. Det var löjligt höga priser på hotellets solsängar med solskydd nere vid vattnet (ca 100 € per dag) men eftersom det var så pass lite gäster i slutet av September så gick det bra för oss att få ett par av de få gratissängarna och solen var inte så stark så det gick bra utan skugga.

- Katrin (7/5): Gutes Hotel aber kein 5*L - Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Der Service war auch sehr gut und freundlich. Das Hauskeeping kam am Abend nochmals vorbei und hat alles kontrolliert. Der SPA ist süss. Die Liegen am Strand oder am Pool haben wir nicht genutzt, es gibt es viele schöne Orte auf den Inseln die man anschauen kann. Das Frühstück war ok, aber bei einem 5 Stern Hotel erwarte ich eine höherere Qualität. Das Bett war viel zu weich. Der SPA war leider kein Nacktbereich, was ich als sehr unhygienisch empfinde (ich weiss das ist je nach Land sehr unterschiedlich). Ausser der Ausstattung und dem Service war es kein 5 Sterne Hotel. Parkplätze könnten knapp werden. Ich habe mehr erwartet.

- Timo (5/5): Mehr Schein als Sein. Selbst für italienische Verhältnisse jenseits von *****L - Ich war zuletzt vor fünf Jahren dort. Leider hat sich vieles zum Negativen verändert. Überall warten versteckte Kosten auf die Urlauber. Der Pool, die Bar, die neue Sonnenbetten, überall Leere trotz hoher Auslastung - der Grund, die neue Preispolitik. Aperol Spritz für 16€, eine Sonnenliege 80-100€ pro Tag. Der Spa darf nur auf Reservierung für 2h (über den gesamten Aufenthalt) genutzt werden, danach sind weitere 20€ pro Person und Nutzung fällig. Das Personal bemüht, leider nur oft jenseits von *****L (Luxury). Das Frühstück lieblos und in 8 Nächten nicht einmal geringfügig verändert. Diverse Stromausfälle am Abend und bei Nacht, defekte Duscharmatur & durchgelegene Matratzen. Enttäuschend, zumal die Bilder deutlich angenehmere Tage versprechen.

- Katrin (10/5): Traumhafter Urlaub, wenn man Entspannung, freundliche Menschen, Mega gutes Essen erleben möchte. - Dieses Hotel ist wirklich etwas besonderes. Wunderbares Personal, extrem sauber(wie Geister, man hat das Reinigungspersonal kaum gesehen, es wurde mehrmals täglich für Ordnung gesorgt). Das Beatchareal ist toll angelegt, auf verschiedenen Ebenen. Im gesamten Hotel war es traumhaft leise und ein angenehmer Urlaubsduft lag im Haus auf allen Ebenen. … fällt mir tatsächlich nichts ein…
- Maxime (9/5): Mitigé - J'ai aimé la chambre, la literie et le calme dans l'hôtel. Je n’ai pas apprécié le repas pris en room service. Le tarif n’est absolument pas en adéquation avec ce qui m’a été servi. Plus particulièrement, la salade de fruits à 17 € qui contenait seulement 2 fraises, 6 grains de raisin et 2 morceaux de melon… vraiment décevant pour le prix demandé.

- Andras (7/5): It's a nice and clean hotel option in La Maddalena, but you won't get value for your money. - The staff was very friendly, and the hotel was super clean. They cleaned the room twice a day, which was almost excessive, but we really appreciated it. Location was great, pool area was also looking natural. The breakfast is too busy even in October, the waiters often forget your order, and the overall breakfast menu is also somewhat limited, lacking proper vegetable options. The breakfast slot is till 10.30, but they stopped refilling the proper bread options, meat, and cheese at 9:45 already. So you go early or have only leftovers. In the beach area, there are three sunbeds that can be used for free. For every gazebo, you must pay 50 to 70 euros/day, which also applies during the off-season, when a maximum of 10 people are in the beach area overall. As a hotel guest, this is way too much extra cost/day.

- Valerie (8/5): Great spot if you rent a car/scooter - - Breakfast buffet was really good - Comfortable beds and blackout blinds - Pool area is nicely designed so that every 2 beds have their own privacy - staff was friendly and the concierge service was very helpful in finding out about public transport options on the island - Our room was right above the back entrance where they unloaded truck loads throughout the night, which made us not fall asleep for a long time on Sunday and wake up really early on Monday (6am) - Despite being quite new (opened in 2018), the interior design felt a bit dated at times - Drinks and food in the resort were about 2x as much as in La Maddalena town (e.g. milkshake for €14, club sandwich for 24€, etc) without the quality being twice as good - there's a city bus that brings you into town, but the stop is not that easy to find. Best to rent a car/scooter if you're staying here so you can explore the island on your own terms

- Sandra (4/5): - We were really looking forward to our 8-night stay and paid a premium expecting a true 5-star experience. Unfortunately, the reality was a huge disappointment. The room was incredibly small — barely enough space to walk around with two suitcases and clothes for an 8-day stay. The limited space made it uncomfortable, and the cleaning was average at best. Our balcony faced a noisy parking lot, offering a terrible view and none of the peace we had hoped for. Breakfast was far from what you'd expect at a luxury hotel — mostly sugary pastries, very little in terms of healthy or standard options like eggs or even bread. Items constantly ran out and we had to ask for basics like glasses, coffee, and refills, waiting for staff to get to us. There was no coffee or tea provided in the room. A machine could be requested, but you have to pay for the coffee capsules — again, not what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. The beach area was another letdown. Only four sunbeds were available for free, without umbrellas. Everything else required payment — starting from €100 per day. For a hotel that charges premium rates, having to pay extra just to lay comfortably on the beach is unacceptable. The on-site restaurant was also overpriced with a limited menu. Overall, the experience fell far below expectations. I’ve travelled extensively and stayed in many true 5-star hotels around the world — this unfortunately was not one of them.

More of a suggestion: it would be great if the hotel had a water fountain that guests could access still and sparkling water free of charge for the duration of their stay.

- Jonas (8/5): - Hotellet ligger ca 2,5 km från centrum och det kostar 15-20 € att ta en taxi. Hotellet har ingen egen transfer däremellan. Personalen pratar ingen eller ganska dålig engelska så ibland var det svårt att förstå varandra. Frukosten var väldigt bra och rummen stora och välstädade. Poolområdet var också väldigt bra med riktigt sköna solsängar. Det finns en nyöppnad beachclub som tillhör hotellet och ligger ca 200 m därifrån. Dock så fick man inte låna några solsängar trots att man bodde på hotellet. De kostade 70€/dag !!!! Hutlöst dåligt. Drinkarna där kostade 18€ vilket vi också tyckte var i mesta laget. Vi fick 2 timmar på spa och det var jättefint och mysigt. Vill man ha någon behandling så var de svindyra.

Das Hotel erweckt den Eindruck eines Durchgangshotels für Busreisen - entsprechend viel Andrang beim Frühstück. Zimmer nicht besonders gross. Unserer Meinung nach kein Hotel der 5 Sterne Kategorie.

- Alexandre (8/5): - Accueil correct, bon petit-déjeuner (du choix), le personnel et le staff est sympathique (un peu moins au niveau de la réception), la chambre était bien (en revanche la clim se réactive tres fort dès qu'on quitte la chambre, la TV ne fonctionnait pas correctement et la literie est désastreuse, pas digne d'un soi-disant 5 étoiles luxe !)

Das Abendessen (im Rahmen der Halbpension) war auch sehr lecker, allerdings kleine Portionen. Die Getränke beim Abendessen (8€ für eine Cola zero) und an der Bar sind unverhältnismäßig teuer. Der Spa Bereich muss vorher gebucht werden und kann nur maximal 2 Stunden kostenlos genutzt werden, das ist etwas umständlich geregelt.

- Bodil (6/5): Sänk förväntningarna - Helhetsupplevelsen är att hotellet försöker, men är tyvärr inte på en 5-stjärnig nivå. Delar som drar ned intrycket är slamrig frukost i ett rum utan utsikt. Även utbudet är slarvigt uppskuren. och presenterad. Finns även några bord utomhus bredvid en bergvägg. Flertal hotellrum har utsikt mot en parkeringsplats, se till att undvika dessa. Begränsad utsikt från hotellets restauranger. Beach Club kostar orimligt mycket för en bättre solsäng som nu i lågsäsong. Även otrevligt bemött av personal när vi inte förstod vilka sängar som ingick och inte. Övriga solsängar som ingår i hotellrumspriset är starkt begränsade därmed svåra att få. fFå vill betala mellan 100-140 EUR för en Servicen generellt behöver förbättras. Finns även möjligheter att förbättra design inne i hotellet. Som nu är konstläder och kristall. Bild från frukost rummet.

- Ivan (6/5): - The breakfast staff was attentive and provided good service. We booked the half-board option, which included dinner. However, after the first evening, we decided to eat elsewhere. The food quality was equivalent to reheated convenience food. We were left speechless when we discovered that the sun loungers at the beach club, which bears the same name as the hotel, cost over 100 euros per day. The hotel gives the impression of striving to be something it is not. Furthermore, a device in our room emitted a continuous beeping sound.
- Fernando (8/5): - Excelente opção para quem visita La Maddalena e está de carro. Um pouco afastado do centro. Estacionamento fácil e gratuito. Tem beach club e nas proximidades do hotel há diversos píers em que é possível organizar passeios de barco/Gommone sem precisar ir até o porto principal (muito mais movimentado e confuso). Quarto muito confortável e bom café da manhã.

- Mario (9/5): Supertoller Urlaub..super Hotel.. - Sehr tolle Lage..supernettes Personal sehr aufmerksam!!.Unbedingt Mietwagen nehmen..tolle Poolanlage..schöner Ma&Ma Club..der Zugang zum Wasser ist durch Felsen ein bischen erschwert..Badeschuhe sind zu empfehlen. Unbedingt mindestens 1x im hoteleigenen Restaurant zu Abend essen..Tisch am Pool reservieren...einfach ein Traum ..Ambiente und Geschmack!! Leider sind fast alle Liegen und Gazebo Daybed Dreams im Ma&Ma Club kostenpflichtig..Hängematten sind kostenlos..oder mit Handtuch auf die flachen Felsen legen..geht auch gut.

- mark (7/5): Lovely hotel but pricey to use the facilities - It had some great features such as the pool . It did not have a shuttle to the port it would have been great to go back and forward. The beach required us to pay for a lounger at £40-150 depending upon location just seemed a little bit excessive after already paying a high price for the hotel. The food was very expensive .

- Anthony (8/5): Wonderful hotel with great facilities - Wonderful place and hotel staff facilities are fantastic the chefs food during dinner was lacking love (if you know what I mean) a bit compared to some of the meals on the island but I truly would return and do recommend it TV should be a smart one with apple play so that I can play movies/tv from my devices in the evening. my reference on the food was just to the dinner service

- Leamdro (4/5): - Un hôtel qui pour moi ne mérite pas 5 étoiles ... Une chambre rien de plus basique, un écran TV qui date déjà de plus de 10 ans, étrange pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. La climatisation dans la chambre fait plus de bruit qu'une pompe à chaleur pour piscine... Autant vous dire que c'était pas une nuit reposante. Mis à part ces désagréments, le personnel était sympathique et serviable. La nourriture était qualitative... En résumé sympa mais je ne conseille pas a ce prix là.

- Cyrille (10/5): - Magnifique endroit. La décoration est raffinée et sans faute de goût. Le personnel est au petit soin et professionnel. Piscine magnifique. Nous avions la demi-pension et avons diner au bord de la piscine, romantique et cuisine de qualité. Une vraie parenthèse enchantée. La plage privée est superbe aussi et un vrai plus dans le rush du mois d'août ce qui permet d'être au calme. 2h de spa compris dans le prix de la chambre. Les bed de la plage en supplément 120 euros c'est exhorbitant !! Un tarif préférentiel vu le prix de la chambre serait correct ...
- David (4/5): Un hôtel monté à l’envers… - Les + Le personnel très serviable Les - Hôtel organise très bizarrement… la piscine est à l’arrière de l’accueil sans accès mer. Il faut sortir du complexe hôtelier pour accéder à la plage et au beach club, c’est pas très loin mais nous nous attendions à autre chose Chambre Sea side view ou vous apercevez la mer en pointillés… vue sur le voisinage et une pelouse synthétique (voir photos - chambre double supérieure Sea side view). Nous avons remonté l’information mais sans suite. La plupart des chambres avec vue ne sont pas pour l’hôtel pour les appartements locatifs qui font partie du complexe hôtelier. Autre possibilité pour voir la mer depuis l’hôtel: rester devant l’ascenseur (voir autre photo), il aurait été plus logique de garder les vues pour les chambres, c’est décevant. Matelas pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles, Climatisation sans régulation donc énorme bruit de turbines toute la nuit Rapport Q/P défavorable
