• IsyaEca (10/5): Superb place to stay in penang - A beautiful place with easy access to food. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. Everything was excellent. I will definitely come back for another stay and highly recommend it to my friends. The staff were very efficient and friendly.

• Leong (7/5): Good price - It’s walking distance to the beach and a super nice beachfront cafe, and the room is clean. It’s just standard, nothing super bad.
• Zheling (9/5): Nice place if you want to stay away from the tourist sites - I've been to Penang many times, so I want to stay somewhere that is not in the Georgetown. The location is great for me, a quiet place by the sea and accessible by bus. The room is spacious and clean. There are outlets and cabinets on both sides of the bed, which is convenient. The bathroom is also spacious and the water pressure is great. You could see the sea from the room, though the sea in Penang is not the beach with sunshine type. There are also restaurants and food courts nearby. Communication with the owner is kinda difficult. He seems kind, but doesn't quite understand my English. :-(

• Mainul (9/5): Superb - This was my 2nd stay and it was as good or better than the 1st stay. The biggest selling point is the location and the price. All the rest is just topping. I loved the very local restaurant within the compound. Without having to go searching anywhere one can try local food the way locals eat at local prices and not tourist prices. Very friendly people there. I will probably stay here again when I visit Penang. I can't think of anything worth mentioning here.

• Janet (3/5): Poor - Local area on the beach To far from the city Booked three nights on the third day they called saying we'd only booked two nights and if we didn't book out by 2 we would pay 50 rupiah an hour, I explained it was 3 nights but they kept calling us, we booked somewhere else and went back to show them our booking it ruined our day, they apologised and said it was their mistake, we said we'd booked elsewhere as they had insisted it was 2 nights, they charged us for 3 and wouldn't refund us. We also had one night of broken sleep due to a man outside shouting all night No one is at reception after 9pm. I am contacting booking.com to make a formal complaint

• Geetha (9/5): Superb - Nice location with seaview and spacious room. Worth the money Reached about 7pm and there was no one to assist with check in. There’s only 1 person managing everything there and he went out to eat without informing anyone around. Could have atleast inform the parking uncles outside before he left. End up waiting for 30mins for him to arrive and he argued with me that he only left for 5minutes 😏 otherwise everything else was good. I will definitely repeat the stay over here due to the location and price

• Fyrefaery (9/5): Peaceful Stay at the edge of the City - I read the reviews for Georgetown and most places suffered from noise and thin walls and drunk customers, so I decided to take this place inside a Temple complex, next to the sea and about halfway between George Tosn and Ferringhi Bay. It was great actually - quiet, a comfortable bed, good hot shower, no traffic noise (sometimes a few people outside chstting late) and cleaned everyday with new bottled water and voffee sachets. You need a bone or car to get the most out of this location, but I like to have a bike anyeay, thought there is a HUGE foodcourt about 8 mins walk away. The sirconditioner didn't turn off automatically at the selectef tempersture so if it was left on over night the room would get way too cold.
