• gill (10/5): - From before I even arrived, with great communication, I had an fantastic experience. Transfers from airport went without a hitch. Welcome drink! Beautiful spacious room, with top quality fittings. Amazing food, absolutely delicious. Cocktails around the pretty pool were super! The daily tours were absolutely top class and we gained a deep insight into this fascinating island. It says the half board comes with a "daily safari". This is selling them short, it means a private tour of your choice (check out their website), with a guide who provides an amazing tour, with great detail, all in the comfort of the hotels 4x4 vehicle. We will never forget our wonderful stay in this hotel and the amazing Rapa Nui! Nothing, everything was more than I could have hoped for. Of course their are bugs but that's nature!!

What really makes this place special is the personal and individual approach from the staff – you truly feel looked after rather than just being another guest. Everyone was incredibly warm, attentive and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. 🙌 The food was excellent throughout our stay 🍽️ – fresh, beautifully presented and consistently delicious. Every meal felt like a treat. The resort itself is stunning 🌺 – very well maintained, full of lush greenery, peaceful gardens and beautifully designed spaces. It feels like a tropical oasis and creates such a relaxing atmosphere. A special mention to Tito, our guide, who was absolutely superb ⭐ His knowledge, energy and passion for Rapa Nui made our tours unforgettable. And the parade/experience with him was amazing – such a fun and memorable part of the trip! 🔥🥁 If you are visiting Easter Island and want somewhere with charm, authenticity, excellent service and a beautiful setting, Hare Uta is the place to stay. Dispone de una piscina con tumbonas, ideal para descansar en la tarde después de los tours. La habitación cuenta con una zona de estar común, estación con agua/café o té de cortesía y una nevera, el interior del cuarto tiene un dormitorio con escritorio, caja fuerte de seguridad, baño privado con secador de pelo, amenities, albornoz y zapatillas. Se nota todo muy nuevo, cuidado y limpio. El desayuno es estilo buffet, muy completo y rico (estación de platos calientes, fiambres y quesos, fruta, bollería, frutos secos, productos sin gluten, yogures). El restaurante ofrece además del desayuno, comidas y cenas, merece la pena probarlo, nosotros repetimos porque nos encantó el sabor y la calidad. Todo el personal es encantador, muy preocupados por hacer que tu estancia sea estupenda. Cuentan con servicio de recogida y traslado al aeropuerto. Fueron muy hospitalarios y detallistas tanto a nuestra llegada como partida y durante toda la estancia. Cuentan con oferta de tours y masajes, así como taxi por si necesitas desplazarte. Estás en la tranquilidad de la naturaleza para desconectar, a escasos minutos en coche del aeropuerto y de la zona de supermercados, tiendas, restaurantes y actuaciones de baile/espectaculos. Recomendable 100%.

The staff were all wonderful and welcoming. Only tiny things - no variation at breakfast, no milk in the living area fridge for tea or coffee & sometimes breakfast set up late by 15 mins which wasn't ideal as the breakfast time wasn't long anyway.

Irs also a hike on rough wooden planking to your room if high up. I Definitely couldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone A big disappointment and where did they get their star rating from ? The restaurant dinner was for us a disaster sorry to say and they couldn't wait to shut. food was rushed and inedible we ate at 7.30pm . The Breakfast looked stale and tiny portions we tried a some and left to eat outside There is a superb restaurant..at the Harbour.

Durante o jantar, a equipe do restaurante colocava o som demasiadamente alto por gosto próprio, porque ficavam, inclusive, cantarolando. Embora gentis, precisam de treinamento nesse sentido - descontração não se confunde com permissividade. A iluminação do quarto pode ser repensada, notadamente na bancada das pias.

• Jacques (9/5): Five superb days in Rapa Nui - The property looks very nice with the houses/rooms spread in the middle of a beautiful garden. The staff is very welcoming, attentive and helpful. Breakfast was good and food at the restaurant excellent. The tours organised with an excellent guide who did her homework to provide a lot of information. Some details need to be worked out: The coffee is just horrible and the hotel should invest in a proper coffee machine. The towels in the bathroom need a little bit of softener. Laundry is fine but ironing (particularly of shirts) is not.

• Judy (10/5): Incredible guide & excursions - We had an amazing stay at Hare Uta! Our room was large and very comfortable, with a huge shared common area. The hotel grounds were beautiful with lovely gardens with flowering trees and plants. We had originally booked bed/breakfast, but the hotel offered half-board for a reasonable price. The best part was that this package included all all the excursions plus dinners (lovely restaurant with good food and wine). The best part of our stay was the excursions. Our guide, Nuku, was absolutely fantastic. He was a local Rapa Nui whose family has been on the islands for generations. His grandfather was one of the young men who worked to restore the Moai's to standing position, and his mother was a 2-term governor of the island! He was a fountain of knowledge of history and legend, and seeing the island through his eyes was a privilege and a pleasure. On top of everything, he was an amazing photographer and a really fun guy! We only had a short time on the island (2 days), but we were able to see and experience everything with 1 full day tour, 2 half-day tours and a bonus sunrise tour of Tongariki (amazing - not to be missed!). Really, a once-in-lifetime experience all made possible by Hare Uta and Niku. Nothing. Perfection!

I have no words to explain our satisfaction, our joy of this hotel. the place is extremally beautiful, green with many flowers, fruits. The staff is amazing polite. Much thanks to manager Jose, Tomas, that found for us the most most knowledgeable guide Nikolas. Special thanks for the kitchen stuff - the food is amazing, amazing, amazing.... But I have to share something very important: I booked HB - which includes breakfast and lunch according to booking.com. We didn't want lunch. But I did this to obtain every day excursion included in this rate. BUT .....when we arrived they told us that we are free to choose between lunch and dinner. So, we immediately chose dinner. Even more during our day trip the hotel provide for us sweets (banana bread cakes....), fruits, fresh juices and water. At the end we have all inclusive at the rate of HB ........, This is very important, because I had serious hesitation and I was almost to book only BB. With all my heart I want to say THANK YOU HARE UTA

We booked a half board package and dinner at restaurant excellent and big portions, friendly service. The package included private tour per day (with snacks and drinks) which was a great plus considering tour prices on island. Also pick up and drop off at airport. Definitely a great property to enjoy the island and totally recommended
• Paul (10/5): Fantastic Easter Island Escape. - We stayed for 3 nights and our expectations were exceeded. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the whole island. Our room was in a great position, overlooking the pool, was comfortable and air conditioned. The hotel’s garden, food and cocktails were all brilliant. A taxi into Hanga Roa was only 5000 CLP. We hired a car from the hotel for the day so we could explore ourselves. We then had a half day excursion with a brilliant guide the following day. She was the president of (I think) the tourism board in Rapa Nui. Learning and seeing the Moais was definitely the highlight of the trip. We were told that the restaurant and bar was open from 1300 to 2200 daily. My only criticism is that on our final evening at dinner (we sat down approximately 2120 after watching the sunset at Abu Thahai) we were told that cocktails could not be served; only beer and wine. This is clearly not much of an issue but I was rather looking forward to a cocktail that evening (they were very good). I noticed that there was only one member of staff on duty. Perhaps she did not know how to make them or did into have time? Otherwise a fantastic stay and I would thoroughly recommend to others.

The local culture shines through everywhere from the grounds to the room and more. We loved the free bikes provided as it made the distance into town manageable. • Stephanie (9/5): Delightful hotel in a quiet (apart from roosters and cows) location. - Hare Uta is a lovely oasis, with beautifully manicured grounds, helpful staff, and spacious, appealing rooms. The restaurant is very good, and the inclued breakfast was excellent. Hare Uta is pretty far from town. You can walk it, which I did many times, but I'd say it's 40 minutes.
• Andrew (8/5): Beautiful gardens and room, superb breakfast, highly recommended - Very good breakfast, gorgeous grounds and landscape, beautiful pool area. Evening meal was disappointing, bland and uninspiring; lunch by contrast was excellent. A long way from town, we walked one evening and it took nearly an hour.

• Rania (10/5): Perfect stay to unwind immersed in nature with a special Rapa Nui touch - The family / friendly atmosphere The warmth and valuable help of the personnel in booking the sightseeing tours and providing guidance The great cuisine and amazing breakfast The spa experience The view overlooking the ocean The selection of books on Easter Island in the rooms The nice and comfi rooms The surprise departure gift The hotel overall is a great place to relax and unwind while being immersed in nature with an elegant rapa nui touch The location is a bit far from the centre (30-40 mins walk while gps/internet is not available in different parts of the island so risk of getting lost). A taxi is recommended.
• Roberto (10/5): If I can give a score of more than 10, I will! - I was given a warm welcome with a garland of flowers. The staff oriented me of the facilities and I was given a very welcome drink. The room is very pristine. All of the amenities are of very high quality. The common areas were thoughtfully designed. The breakfast is also great. I enjoyed my breakfast with a view of the garden. There’s nothing that I can fault with the property. It’s class!

• Martin_czechrepublic (9/5): Perfect choise for your excelent relax in Easter Island - I really recommend this accommodation with half board because you can use the guide service. Our guides were excellent, and the private tours were wonderful! The hotel's boss was very helpful, as were all the other staff. I recommend taking an easy menu and taking care of availability. If you don't have fish three times, it is a problem because there is no more variability in the menu. The portion is so big, so take a smaller menu than a three-course menu.

• Laura (10/5): Exceptional - I had a really lovely stay at Hare Uta. It's a beautiful luxury hotel with gorgeous grounds and the room was huge with a lovely view. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was great and there was a really nice spa and pool. No negatives at all
• Jan (8/5): Hotel with amazing garden area and rooms with view overseeing the area. - + Room had a nice view over the garden down to the sea. + Garden area is like being in paradise: lots of flowers, chickens free roaming the garden and small geckos. + Lovely pool though small. + Staff very friendly. + Food offered by the restaurant is good. + Breakfast buffet above Chilean standard incl. nice cheese board; custom egg dishes available on demand. + Room has air conditioning. + Transfer from and to the hotel is included. - Price on booking.com is very inflated compared to booking directly on the hotel website. - Rooms are functional but quite basic considering the high price of the room. - No kettle in the room though one available in the community room. - Community room is not air conditioned and when we visited the climate was quite hot and humid. It would have been nice to escape to the community area to get some relief. - Community room feels not very inviting. It does not look nice and parts seem to be used for storage for the housing staff. - At the breakfast buffet the food warmers are not warm enough and one day the items were cold. - Would be great parts of the pool would provide be covered to provide some shade, e.g. with a sail over parts of the pool. - Not a problem for us but you hear roosters crowing and dogs barking during the night and in particular early morning.
