• Corey (10/5): - Over all we enjoyed our stay here. Small parking underneath building, but made it work. Everything is within walking distance. And having the code to the room is a plus instead of walking around with a card.
• James (10/5): Beautiful apartments in very convenient location - My family (group of 10) rented 3 apartments, and they worked out perfectly. They are within a 7 minute walk from the train station and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The host was amazingly helpful and super nice. The whole stay was wonderful and exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.
• Edvin (10/5): - Placed in a quiet area a bit out of town center, with private parking for your rental (on request), and staff members that take exceptionally good care of you! The apartment was more than big enough for 2 people, with everything you need for a decent cost compared to many other places. The only negative we experienced was the lack of sound proofing between the concrete floors which can be better.
• Verified traveler (10/5): An excellent pied-à-terre to explore Florence - I’m grateful to have found this apartment. It came to my attention as I was looking for a self-catering apartment for a family of four that had parking, within walking distance of Florence’s many sights. This apartment fit the bill, but on top of that I was impressed by the cleanliness of the property; it had good appliances (including a Moka pot and a Nespresso machine, so you have options about morning coffee!). Also I found the staff very communicative before my arrival as I had questions. In sum, I would enthusiastically recommend.
• Kevin (8/5): Nice place. Served its purpose - We had a one-night stay in Florence before heading to Rome and wanted something close to everything, but at a fair price. This placed served its purpose. The staff was nice and helpful. Our Deluxe apartment was on the fourth floor. It had all of the amenities you could expect and was comfortable. The only issue was that the shower was the smallest I have ever been in. I couldn't bend over.

Only issues were a hit and miss wifi signal... and very small twin beds... but this was one of my favorite places we stayed in all of Italy... and it was an easy walk to the museums, Domo and other areas of Firenza...
• Sarah (6/5): Great location and facilities with the car parking - The apartments are really well equipped with everything you need. The downside was the mattress was far too hard which caused us so much discomfort. Also although we were on the 3rd floor the bar outside was noisy until late each evening. WiFi could have been stronger as it dropped out in the evenings.

Make sure you take up the free bike rental - saves the footwork! We just didn't get the room cleaned or new towels for our whole stay, but we would go back.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Eh, I wouldn’t stay here again. - My first impression of this place is not good. Customer service onsite at the property is seriously lacking. Prior to checking in everyone was really nice. I got here and my room smelled rank and disgusting, although the person checking me in agreed that the room smelled bad, he basically told me to deal with it until the smell airs out and they can get someone in to fix it. The person coming to fix it would have come the next day. Since nothing could be done to fix the smell, I threatened to check in to another hotel then and only then did another suite become available. Insanity! Also, it’s important to confirm that you are getting what you are reserving, there is a listing for a suite with a balcony which is obviously more expensive, once you get to the property they tell you that you don’t have a suite with balcony room and the advertisement is wrong (again you are expected to just get over it and deal with it). This place takes absolutely no accountability for the condition of their apartments nor the advertisements of their listings. My experience makes me question the high ratings this place has received. Honestly, if I were to do it again I’d save myself the headache and get a hotel in the center with a nice view. There is a restaurant downstairs from the property, which is very convenient. However, when the restaurant burns food you can smell it in the building. Also, if you have a room in the front of the hotel when the patrons leave the restaurant it seems

They have parking onsite for each apartment, each apartment is also very big and spacious. Only issue we had was a weird odor in the apartment that was coming from the fan in the toilet.

• GaylenT (8/5): - Excellent, large apartment that worked well for our needs. Late check-in was simple with a combination lock box. Parking was easy and secure. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall an excellent stay though I reduced my review level a little because the bathroom and one area of the kitchen was a bit dirty when we arrived. Though I do not reduce the level of review for the following, it's might be helpful to those reading the reviews to know that cooking items were limited (no paper towels, only 1 kitchen towel, only one small baking pan), and that this unit has an induction oven. I had brought things to bake while there that wouldn't work in that type of oven. The included microwave was nice.

• Verified traveler (8/5): - We stayed here for 3 nights and although the room and location was great we were placed on the first floor. Beware if you end up on 1st floor there is a restaurant right below. You can hear everything from the chairs and table being moved, banging and loud and sometimes drunk customers standing on the streets. The 3 nights we were there we weren’t able to sleep till at least 1-2am in the morning and they reopen for breakfast around 10am. The food there is amazing however. Overall the place was nice and about 20-30 mins walk from all the hot spots but if you prefer to drive or taxi it’s about 9 mins. They also have washer and dryer machines available for about 6-7 euro for each machine. The staff are also very nice.

• Diego (10/5): - Beautiful apartments, right outside of the limited traffic zone (i.e. walking distance of Firenze downtown). We arrived in a particularly hot day in winter, and A/C was not available (only heating), so it was a bit uncomfortable. Parking is great. Riccardo was especially kind and helpful, and allowed us to have an early checkin. Apartments comprise 2 floors, and bedrooms are upstairs (sleeping lofts), no elevator available.

• Dahlia (10/5): Great comfortable environmentally conscious hotel - We booked this hotel because we needed a place with free parking. The location is about a 15-20 min walk to the city center (never drive into the city center, you will be slapped with exorbitant fines). We never had trouble walking to any major landmarks. There were 2 grocery stores and a tobacco shop within 3 block radius from the hotel, which was very convenient. Since this is an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen we made breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The apartment is quite spacious, we were in a 1 bedroom. Bathroom was large (including bidet), there was a dressing area/walk-in closet in the bedroom. We stayed here for 6 nights, and I have to say I LOVE that this hotel is ACTUALLY environmentally conscious. This place kept true to their word. And I say this with the most utmost respect and am very glad that they did not come to clean and change towels every day. They came one time during our 6 night stay and I was VERY happy about that. If this something that bothers you, don't stay here, but I personally thought it was refreshing and wonderful. We are expected to wash our own dishes (there's a dishwasher) and to take out the trash, but other than that, it was a very comfortable stay and I did not feel over burdened by "chores". Garage is very tight with a very steep incline at exit/entrance. But there is a gas station conveniently located nearby. Overall was a very comfortable stay, and I would highly recommend for families or if you're renting a car.

Parking was excellent and Studio apartment was nice and roomy with everything we needed. Supermarket was nice and close but there was also very good cafes and restaurants nearby.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Great stay despite of the incident we faced - First time in Florence and stayed here for 3 nights for our honeymoon. Simone was very friendly and Ricardo as well. Self serve laundry is expensive for 13 Euros - washer and dryer. We just hoped our issue was treated more seriously as we’ve stayed in good hotels and never had this problem. No need to mention in here as it was a great stay still. Wish more options were given as a solution like free washing for our items or even a room move. As this is the first time it has happened to us, we didn’t really know what to do. Don Fefe restaurant was good, on peak season make sure to book. Lovely location for guests who have a car.

• anonymous (4/5): Nice, but too noisy and too far from centre - The apartment was clean and modern and the staff were friendly and approachable. But unfortunately there was a distinct noise problem emanating from guests in other apartments which went on for hours every night until the early hours of the morning meaning sleep was effected and the 35 minute walk into the city centre became laborious and tiresome, especially when trying to find places to eat in the evening. Although the noise may have been due to the fact that all floors were tiled.

We parked our car in the underground garage and proceeded to walk everywhere. It was a good 25ish minute walk to downtown Florence, but we did not want to try to drive. The staff told us the local places that were great for eating and they were amazing. There was a grocery store about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. We would stay here again.

• YZ (8/5): Nice apartments - This property is highly recommended if you drive to Florence: it offers a gated parking space and takes about 25 minutes to walk to the city center (the Duomo area). The area is safe and there is no problem to walk at night. The apartment is clean and well maintained. It has a kitchen if you want to do some self cooking (just remember to clean it after use). There is a Grocery store nearby. I highly recommend it particularly if you drive to Florence by car.

The people managing the apartments were very helpful (they had some great local knowledge) and made us feel very at home. A 20-minute walk into Florence city centre (and a mere 15 minutes to Fiorentina football stadium!) we had a wonderful time exploring all the beautiful sights this wonderful city has to offer. The only slight downside was that there was a lot of noise from the road and the apartments are right next door to a bar/pizzeria, which meant a lot of loud noise in the evenings till quite late, but it didn't really dampen our experience. Would definitely revisit and recommend!

Pleased and helpful staff, very convenient apartment with everything you might need in short stay. Good beds and pillows. Parking! Free parking in garage, that is very unusual for Florence. One problem - not stable working internet. Definitely will stay again, when come back to Florence.

• SMR (4/5): Definitely not 5 star! Not worth the money - Stayed here for 3 nights recently. We organised a late check in. On arrival it took us a while to unlock our bedroom door. We were stuck outside our bedroom and the corridor light kept switching off to save electricity. When we finally got into our room it was very disappointing. It was extremely noisy as we had a room facing the main road. The windows might as well have been open all night because they did nothing to curb the constant sirens blazing past. The bed, if that is what you can call it, was as hard as a rock. The room was nothing like what was depicted on the website. Very disappointing and would not recommend. The place is outdated and not worth the money. The worst part is the wifi disconnected every 15 minutes and was very slow. Better off staying somewhere else!
• Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly staff, very clean, 20 minutes from centre - We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was really clean and the staff were very friendly. Air conditioning was great. Location was in a quiet residential area about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Florence. We saved money by eating in a couple of nights - the kitchen was equipped with all the essentials, including a corkscrew for the Chianti.
• Katy (8/5): Modern European style living - Felt like we were living in Florence as We were staying in the local residential area. The location is about a 15 minute walk from all the action. Easily accessed major museums and restaurants. The neighborhood felt safe. Parking was free, however it was somewhat difficult to drive in and out (tiny parking spaces underground).

• kuromie (10/5): We love this apartment - Very nice and newly renovated apartment. Floor area is quite big and got all the facilities as an apartment. Perfect for a family up to 4. Everything are nice and clean. Except for the kettle is a bit dirty. Receiption lady is very nice and helpful. Receiption finish at 7pm. We can communicate with them via email. Forgot to lock the safe one day. But everything still there. Feel very secured for our stay Also got lock up outdoor garage at the back of the building. Overall we are very happy for our stay. Will definitely return for our next visit to Firenze.
• Barbara W (8/5): convenient and functional - La Farina apartments are convenient and quite satisfactory, though not particularly luxurious, in a quiet residential neighborhood. Kitchenette is nice, and bathroom is a good size for Italy. We stayed twice, in two different apartments; one bed was much better than the other. Linens and towels are adequate and clean but nothing special. It wouldn't take much to improve the quality of these features a bit. One problem: the wifi was malfunctioning during the last day of out stay, and the person at the desk was unable to do anything about it. This should be a high priority.
• CJ (8/5): Great little apartment - I stayed with my husband & 7 month old daughter for 4 days in November. The apartment was a little tricky to find but it was clean, comfortable & about a 15 minute walk to the duomo. The staff were very helpful with little queries we had regarding our stay. The apartment had a travel cot & highchair for our daughter. We felt it was good value for money & we would return if we go to Florence again.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Central but not well equipped - We were staying in a deluxe apartment. It was very small and the air conditioning kept coming via a timer so the apartment was always cold when we came back- not good on cold, rainy October days. The kitchen was not well equipped, very few dishes and mugs and no toaster. Parking was cramped unless you have a very small car.
• Ross (8/5): Great apartment - Stayed 3 nights. Good sized apartment. 10 min walk to middle of city. Supermarket close. Very good service. Lady at desk very helpful. Only down side was that it was across the road from the fire station so quite a few sirens. Apartments clean with well resourced kitchen. 5min walk to station that goes to Cinque terra. Would recommend.

• Lamarr (8/5): Great Location - Front desk personnel Sasha(Denmark) and her counterpart were very helpful and friendly. My family enjoyed the location and stay. Easy to walk to all of central Florence (Firenza). The hotel was hard to find with Google maps and may require you to have GPS on your rental vehicle. Cute Apartment near most attractions in Florence.
• Paula (10/5): Great stay just outside of city centre! - Loved our apartment in La Farina! It was spacious, clean, modern and the air conditioning worked very well during the heatwave! We stayed here 10 days and did some great day tours outside of the city. We have been travelling for 10 months so this was a great spot for a little break as well. Simone and Riccardo were always very helpful and friendly. They both spoke excellent English! They gave us great recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to do in Florence. Great market a few blocks away.
• Ian (10/5): La Farina Apartments - Apartment was great - close enough to the centre of Florence to walk (15 mins). It was really modern and clean and very spacious with every convenience possible. Check in was very easy and Simone gave really good tips on shops, buses and the surrounding area.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Nice quite neighborhood. 15-20m walk from center. - Great place to stay. We stayed 6 nights. Simone checked us in and was super friendly and helpful. Plenty of space. We liked the location but it's about a 15-20 min walk into the heart of Florence. That was a plus for us because we like walking and didn't want to be in a boisterous neighborhood. Only downside was that there was construction across from our hotel room that woke us up and you could hear your upstairs neighbor close the blinds late at night. Other than that it was great.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Awesome Apartment! - Customer service was helpful once we got to our hotel we were instantly greeted and given a map to all the sites close by. Easy neighborhood to navigate. Place was clean and big for two people. Didn't have a problem with service except the day we had to leave to catch our next train. The phone number to taxi service was behind door with a phone, but the phone buttons were stuck we could not press on them. Dragged our bags down the street where a local store told us there was a taxi circle we could wait at for a taxi. That was the frustrating part because we had two big luggage's to drag with us. Overall everything was perfect!

• Kheminda (10/5): Nice apartment - This was a great place to stay for a family of 4. Nice clean modern apartment with all the amenities, It was a 15 minute walk to the city center. The bus stop on 5 minutes away. Vey nice area of town, residential. Staff was very helpful in giving us directions , maps to all the sites.
• Sue (8/5): Spacious accommodations - We stayed in a deluxe suite which is a 2 bedroom apartment with full kitchen and living area. It was newly remodeled and very clean. Perfect for our family of 4. Great value for the price. Only drawback is busy fire station across the street.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - The one bedroom apartment was newly furnished, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with utensils ( no condiments). Gated parking is available on the premises.
• Ji Hoon (6/5): Be ware of hidden costs - The apartment was in general okay (in terms of location, cleanness, etc.), but the staffs continuously lied about the cost. I booked a “suite” which was for 2 adults & 1 Kid with a sofa bed (as written on Hotels.com & their own homepage as well). However, the guy manager told me that +4-year-old is considered as an adult, so that I need to pay extra cost (EURO 15/night) in order to be assigned to a bigger room for 4 people. I never heard of such a thing (+4 is considered as an adult), but agreed to pay more, because I could not cancel it. When I walked into the room, however, my room was not “deluxe suite”, but a normal suite with a sofa bed. I asked back, but the guy lied at my face, saying that they arranged a special sofa bed for me, so that I need to pay more. The guy also told me that I need to pay tourist-tax which was also not written on their homepage, and hotels.com. I raised this issue to Hotels.com, and thankfully, Hotels.com helped me timely, and actively. When I was checking-out, another lady-manager even complained to me, saying (1) why I contacted to hotels.com (2) +2-year-old is considered as an adult in their apartment, which was absurd and different from what the guy manager told me. I will never recommend this apartment to anyone, simply because paying over EURO100/night to deal with liars was such an unpleasant experiences!

• Yusuf (10/5): Ideal place to stay in Florence - Spacious, clean and modern apartments. Very helpful front desk staff. Easily accessible to city centre - by bus or 5-10m walk to train station. Would definitely stay here again.
• Eldad (10/5): Great location and well designed room - My wife and I stayed for 1 night in October. the hotel is located just outside the ZTL zone, and it had private parking. it's about 10-15 minutes to Florence historic center. the Staff was very kind, helped us a lot with our sight seeing plan. The room was very equipped with microwave, dish washer, stove, fridge and dishes.

• Nick (10/5): Clean, modern, friendly - Just about everything was perfect with our stay. Initial check in included a thorough overview of the area, nearby facilities (including grocery), and best bus routes to and from downtown. The only potential downside to La Farina Apartments is that it's about a 20 minute walk to reach Florence's historic central sights. However, if you pick up a Firenze card for museum admission (highly recommended), you also get free use of city buses. With the aid of a smartphone, finding buses to save you some foot soreness becomes easy (as does navigating the streets to the center). The staff were lovely and assisted us with everything from summoning taxis to figuring out bus schedules for our next stop in Siena. Can't recommend highly enough.
• Kelly (10/5): Great apartments! - My husband and I booked apartments so we could cook for ourselves in Italy and have some space in the accommodation. La Farina apartments were wonderful for this. There were 2 food markets not far away and plenty of patisserie about. The rooms were open, large and full of light. only a few minor negatives: 1. it was quicker and safer to use the stairs than the elevator! it was tiny, very cramped and very slow. useful for getting luggage up and down but otherwise the stairs are better. 2.using the laundry facilities is very expensive but so are most of the laundry facilities in Italy generally. The staff were helpful, it was close to bus stops/train stations and it was easy to walk to the major attractions from this location (15 minutes max). Highly recommended.

• Trilby4pink (10/5): Great self-catering option in Florence - Lovely studio a short walk from the centre of Florence! We found the secure, free parking very handy and the staff were very helpful.
• Gaby (10/5): Wonderful stay at la Farina - The Hotel, cleanliness and friendly staff was above all expectations. We received a wonderful recommendation from the Hotel Manager for a wonderful dinner in Florence. The walk downtown was 15 min, but took us by a bar so we could have the morning coffee on the way. All in all a wonderful stay. Be aware that a ambulance dispatch is across the street so it can get noisy at night. As anywhere in Italy it seems garbage pick up and glass container emptying happens preferrably when you try to sleep but no worse than anywhere else in Italy.
• The Wright Family (10/5): Great Apartments with secure car parking - Good clean modern apartments in good location approx 20 minutes walk to center. Minor disappointment that there were no English stations on the TV. Staff speak good English and were very friendly and helpful. It proved to be a great base from which to explore Florence city sights.
