• Jessie (6/5): - The staff were wonderful & friendly. Our room and outdoor area however was filled with mosquitos and really unpleasant, I killed about 12 mosquitos just around the bed net. Also a lot of construction so very noisy. The although room was spacious & bed was comfy. Pool was great. Random area though.
• Christina (4/5): - I was very disappointed in the property when we arrived. I feel like at one point I’m sure the property and our room did look like the pictures, but upon arrival our room was rough and run down. Our room was dirty, dingy, and run down. The mosquitos were terrible as well and made the room uninhabitable. There were more in our room than outside. We ended our stay at Alan Bidadari and checked out sooner than we planned to.
• Birjou (2/5): - I was scheduled to land and arrive after hours when checkin desk would be closed. I tried for 5 days to reach out to make arrangements however the hotel would not respond, either to me or the Expedia reps whom i was dealing with. I was only able to make reservations elsewhere through the help of the relocation team at Expedia. If not for them i would have been stranded in a country half way around the world...

• ELIZABETH (8/5): Perfect pool villa close to Seminyak square - We Enjoyed our stay and will be back. The accommodation was wonderful, it was spacious in a modern Balinese style. The private pool was clean, private in a calming Balinese landscaping. The king size bed could fit 2 adults and a young child easily. The complimentary breakfast was delicious too!
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not too bad but just a bit too far out - Quite enjoyed our stay but would of preferred to be closer to town. Place was quite clean. Breakfasts were also quite nice. Staff were extremely helpful. Very noisy at night and our villa was next door to a 3 level apartment block so felt like there was no privacy for swimming.

• Verified traveler (4/5): I would not go there again - My friend booked 4-5 weeks in advance got conformation and as she is in aorport flying over ,she gets mail it is double booking so we are cancelling your booking..not very nice practice.. she end up in our room .pool is small..the sun is only available around the pool until 2 pm . I wanted sun bath was only limited hours. Staff was good. Room service was good. But again i was very disappointed

• Sandra (8/5): - We had booked the last 8 nights of our 16 night stay in Bali. When we arrived at the Alam, we were incredibly impressed with the villa and greeting. Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, one must be aware of the noise levels coming from the street as it is filled with perpetual vehicle noise. Due to the locale, this cannot be avoided. It was the only major downfall for those like us that were looking for our zen as it could have been due to the wonderful surrounding of our villa. Apparently the inner row of villas is more quiet. The daily breakfast service was great. Daily cleaning wasn't consistent. We had been treated twice to what should be a daily cleaning event with regards to the maid service, the rest of the time, they did what they had to. Now that wasn't a bad thing but those two days that they made the room look and smell wonderful were now expected daily and I believe it should be daily when asked for. Unbeknownst to us, we had the pleasure of speaking with the new property manager. She advised us that she was there to return the Alam to the resort it once was. It truly doesn't have far to go and she recognized the areas in need of improvement. Would I stay at the Alam again? Yes, but if i wanted zen, i would ask that I be placed on the inner row of villas for such a long stay.
• Mohamed (6/5): Relaxing - Experience was good the villa was amazing except that the sheets and pillows had blood spots and was not cleaned or changed by room service. Front desk was very kind and helpfull. Stuff are so kind.
• Nat & Pete (8/5): Private hideaway not far from the hustle & bustle - Villas well presented, nice and private. Staff friendly and helpful. Only short walk into Seminyak for great restaurants otherwise taxis always available pretty much at your doorstep. Breakfast choices limited but what we had did not disappoint. Would definitely stay here again.
• Ray and Angela (4/5): Villa ok but in a bad location - Was really impressed when arrived at villa room and outdoor area beautiful until we opened patio doors and was deafened by the sound of drills and jack hammers and flying dust from building site next door. With all fairness., staff very apologetic and moved us a few villas away. Noise tolerable with music.
• Minat (8/5): Good Hotel requires little maintenance - The property was amazing and the staff too was courteous but the room though huge and excellent, require proper maintenance. I was checked into Villa no 7, where the first night the air conditioning was not proper and I couldn't sleep well. The next day I was shifted to villa number 2 where the air conditioning was great but the bathroom required full maintenance. The shower didn't work properly. The tub had the indication of the hot and cold on the wrong side and that caused me a little problem. Plus the Mosquitos in the room didn't let us sleep.
• Katie (6/5): Friendly staff and overall great stay - We enjoyed our stay here and especially enjoyed our breakfast served every morning. It is a good place to stay if you want to be close enough to restaurants but away from the main centre of Seminyak. The main reason we decided to stay in a villa was for the pool and the pool in our villa caused our skin to become really irritated when being in there for more than 10 mins... which was really disappointing.
• Francis (2/5): DOUBLE BOOKED AND SENT US TO A CHEAP DIRTY HOTEL - THE HOTEL CHARGED US $700 FOR 2 NIGHTS THEN ON CHECK IN MOVED US TO ANOTHER CHEAPER HOTEL THAT COST $300 ALAM BIDADARI REFUSED ANY CREDIT AND THREATENED US. WE WERE AFRAID AND WE CHECKED OUT EARLY FROM THE CHEAPER HOTEL. FINALLY THE MANAGER MET US AFTER WE COMPLAINED AND GAVE US $100 COMPENSATION. THIS HOTEL WAS FULL YET THEY ACCEPTED OUR BOOKING AND PUT US IN A CHEAP DIRTY HOTEL. THIS IS WRONG AND BEWARE THEY WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU
• Verified traveler (10/5): Nice hotel close to Seminyak square and shops. - The hotel was close to shops and restaurants. You can take a cab or walk. The room was really spacious and clean. Well worth the money.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Not happy - Overall it was not a great stay as I was offered a room with pool that was under maintenance and was not ready until next day. Staff were average. Do not recommend others.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Excellent villa - Got the villa for a great price. Amazing villa. The staff was always very helpful. They bring and set up breakfast on the back table by the pool. Only downfall is location, a little out of the way. But great for privacy. School days can get a little noisy outside. As the villa was backing the road.
• arnab (8/5): Nice place for couples - Good place for couples. Close to Kuta and other happening places ( $4 to $5 taxi ride). Staff helpful. In villa massage great (masseurs speak very little English though). Try to get an even numbered villa as odd numbered villas are beside a road and can be noisy at times. Breakfast options not great and quantity not enough. Lunch and Dinner menu options also limited and a lot of dishes not available all the time.

• Jadon (8/5): Great relaxing getaway for couples - These villas seem to be more designed for couples looking for a relaxing getaway and is a bit out of the way from the main shopping district. Staff were very helpful with booking reliable taxis and informing us of when they arrived. Excellent food, general service, and the reception staff were great help with any questions we had! The bed was exceptionally comfortable and was large enough to fit me (height: 6'4" / 190cm). In-villa facilities were great and always restored back to "first day" appearance when cleaning was done. Only reason there is no 5star rating from me is because of the amount of mosquitoes that were getting in through the day and night, but the bug-net over the bed was helpful with this through the night.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Pleasing expeerience - Hotel was nice and staff were great however didn't use the pool much as wasn't cleaned and looked quite murky. To walk to Seminak's main strip took around 10-15mins (Had to cross a main road). Also, beware of mosquitos here!!! Hotel is near a swampy area and attracted many of the little critters.

• Dennis (8/5): Good hotel food, Place abit remote - We are in Alam Bidadari for a Rest and Relax trip. We love the in-house local food! Its nicely done local food. The location is rather remote. Finding and getting out of the Villa is a bit challenging. we have to walk out to get a reasonable fare for cab via cab-meter. Although the room occasionally fills with mosquitoes, the facilities is armed with insecticide. The villas is well maintain. Service is quote prompt. We will definitely recommend for couple who prefers to stay if they stays mostly indoor. Even numbers Villas is pretty noisy as its built along driveways.

• jim (6/5): Location location - Location is the key to a good holiday and we found the villa to far away from thr restaurants and local shops.if you ride a bike then fine but we like too stroll around and grab a cab when going out for dinner. The villa is reasonably priced but if expecting the comforts of a true villa you will be out of luck.the villa is like a large hotel room with your own pool. There is no radio or ipod connection and no where to sit in comfort inside If you like eggs you will like the breakfast It took seven days for the sheets to be changed. But the staff are fine and it is a budget villa so I suppose you get what you pay for. I do not meen to be too negative it just was not for us but like I said if you ride a bike you will probably not find it so far out. One last point if you like to sleep in the school next door can wake you up from six oclock with bonging and chanting on some mornings. The fridge is mini if you like a beer round the pool get some ice

• Julie (8/5): Beautiful Villa - The Villa we had (Dewi 2) was just lovely, private pool was great and breakfast was very nice. My 2 sons, aged 10 & 16 and myself stayed, my younger son shared the king size bed with me, and the older one slept on the sofa, this was fine, but it really isn't designed for a family - very romantic! There is a clear glass door to the bathroom...so no privacy when using the toilet. (I wouldn't like this even if I was travelling with my partner)
