Zeer veel lawaai, dunne muren en ramen, bijna onmogelijk om vroeg te slapen met kinderen. Kamer stonk naar rioolputje, gemaskeert door parfum en geurstokjes. Zeer koud zwembad voor de kinderen, niet verwarmd. Geen aangenaam of ontspannend verblijf.

- LynseyR (10/5): Fab family hotel - We had a lovely stay at La Pinta family hotel. We were travelling with a 4 and 6 year old. The rooms were spacious and had plenty space for clothes and storing cases. The air conditioning worked well to keep the room at a good temperature and we used the fridge and safe. The pool area was great. The kids pool was a perfect height for our children to stand up but still deep enough to play and the splash pool was great for smaller children. We enjoyed the food, similar choices on offer for the children but our two were happy with this. The dining room Could be busy at breakfast time if you went after 9 but we always got a table. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, rooms were kept clean and towels changed when needed. We would return!

- 561adinad (8/5): Good location and staff - Location is perfect, just to the beach, and all shops and restaurants. Atmosphere fantastic, great staff, friendly and make you feel nice. Rooms a big and clean, but a bit smelly. It is a bit expensive for what it offers. A big complaint because of the noise level...we had room 332 which is faced the pietonal road we could see the sea and in front of our balcony was another hotel running very loud music ALL DAY long (stops at night) and kids and ourself could not sleep at lunch. The bedroom is faced inside the hotel where the play are is and is extremly noisy because kids are playing. Therefore no quiet time all day!! The food is very bad, not appropriate for kids at all and not tasty. All fried and with sous and the quality very cheap. I am a fussy person when it comes to food but I usually adapt and I do find something to eat but here, unfortunately, nothing :( I strongly suggest, if you are a healthy eater and good quality meat and everything, do not get food here as you will regret. Meat/fish all is from frozen, vegetable same and even fruits not fresh, from compote. Desert nice though.

We chose this hotel based on the reviews saying it’s in a lovely beachfront location with lots of bars and restaurants just on the doorstep. But we did not realise This hotel is really good BUT for families with small children. The entertainment program run throughout a day and even in the evenings is for small children. There’s absolutely nothing to do for teens or adults. The food buffet is the WORST we’ve ever experienced: very small repetitive choice. Food is dry, lukish warm and not bland. We are so glad that we have paid only for half board. The staff are all polite, friendly and hard working though. We have to give them credit. To cap it all: this hotel is way overpriced for what it has to offer.

The location is ideal with a safe family friendly beach to the front along with several decent bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is clean with spacious rooms and benefits from some excellent facilities that kept our child entertained throughout. A special mention to Daniel who was my little boy's favourite team member from the animations team. The food offering was decent throughout. Ordering lunch from the pool bar took an age to come, but is the only (slight) negative. Mainly as my son missed waterpolo! (He got to play just before we left in the end later in the week, so all good!). We would certainly return.

- slon22 (8/5): A very enjoyable stay - We settled on this resort and hotel as we were travelling as a group of 4 with a range of ages. We booked a 2 bed apartment and it was perfect for us. Very spacious and very clean with a generous balcony and a sea view. The hotel is well located and there are lots of amenities near by. This is definitely a family friendly place, it does have that canteen feel and noise at meal times so don’t be expecting a quiet dinner but that’s to be expected and the same everywhere, the food at the buffet is really lovely. The staff were excellent. We would definitely go back to this hotel.

- Mancromthecoast (10/5): Unexpected pleasure - In February i decided that I needed to start to use the RCI points that we, now I, have accrued over recent years as health and other issues prevented my partner and me taking a holiday. Sadly she died last April so this was my first solo effort. Originally I tried Lanzarote in March, nothing available. Next simple easy option is Tenerife flying from Liverpool. From three options I chose La Pinta Beach Club as it was in a good location although I had no previous experience of Playa Adeje in that we had usually stayed in Los Christianos or Las Americas. I had a very positive experience at La Pinta from the moment that I walked into reception to be welcomed by Kate and colleagues who, across the seven days, continued with their warm welcoming services. My apartment was on the fourth floor, an ideal location with terrific perspective from my balcony across both the complex, local beach and resources. My apartment was excellent, spacious, well equipped, comfortable and the subject of a high standard daily service. Again from friendly staff. One of the best decisions that I made was to take breakfast at La Pinta rather than have to go out in search of cafe or bar. At 12 Euros a day having booked 7 breakfasts i was able to access their wonderful buffet service that provided me with every option that I might want. A good breakfast invariably set me up for the day. It was also a wonderful social experience alongside families from across Europe who were holidaying in these excellent facilities that were perfect for families with young children. The resources in and around La Pinta are plentiful enabling a range of options for dinner each evening, supermarkets and a range of other retail outlets for my consumption along with with the option to take a walk, either way, along the coastal pathway, use the beach, amble around the marina or, which I didn’t, take one of the many nautical options available with bars, cafes and restaurants a plenty. My evening consumption of football was at nearby Smoke….plenty of room, many tv screens enabling choice of viewing and welcoming staff. Despite visiting Tenerife for 30 years plus i had never done a Tiede trip. Kath, on reception, helped me achieve this, accessing a half day excursion enabling me to explore this very unique part of the island. It was not always fun being on holiday on my own as I dealt with many reflections and associated emotions yet enjoyed this resort.

Three kids clubs indoor playgrounds and one outside. All in all beautiful. David and his team of animators do a great job. The food is actually better then one would expect in a family hotel.

- 34niallb (10/5): Best holiday we’ve ever had, we will definitely be back! - We recently stayed in January at Hovima La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel and can honestly say it was one of the best holidays we’ve ever had. From start to finish, everything was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, in a great location, and perfect for relaxing and switching off. What really made the stay special was the staff. Every single person we encountered was incredible. Friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, they created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout. A special mention has to go to Rafaella from guest experience. She went above and beyond for us. She helped recover our child’s phone, which meant a lot, and was always especially so kind and thoughtful with our children. It really made a difference and was appreciated. We also saw first hand how professional and attentive the lifeguard was. He reacted immediately to help two children in difficulty in the pool and handled everything calmly and expertly. It was very reassuring to see. The food was great as well, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. Overall, an amazing experience from beginning to end. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already planning our return. We will 100% be back and could not recommend it highly enough

- karolak906 (10/5): Great place to stay! - We had a great short stay at HOVIMA La Pinta. The location is excellent – the hotel has direct access to the sandy beach, so you can walk from the pool area straight down to the beach and promenade with many restaurants and shops. The hotel has a lively atmosphere with plenty going on: entertainment, live music, and activities during the day and evening, so it’s never boring. It’s definitely a family-oriented place – there were many families with children and lots of attractions designed especially for them. The rooms were very comfortable, and we especially loved a ground-floor room with direct access to the pool. The whole hotel has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. A special thank you to Ms. Kasia, who was incredibly helpful, kind and caring during our stay. We would also like to thank the lady who welcomed us during our first check-in (probably Lora, sorry if we remember the name incorrectly! ). We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

- Explorer27464598947 (6/5): Pools Not Heated, Food awful, but nice views... - We chose this hotel as many reveiws raved about how child friendly it was. We stayed with a 3 year old and 1.5 year old and it definitely wasn't anything special for either of them. You have the 'baby club' (0-4 years) - my 3 year old is a small child, not even classed as a toddler anymore. There was nothing in the baby club for her. And even at that, there wasn't much happening to entertain other children who had been left there by parents. The kids club 4 years+ would have been more appropriate for my little girl yet they have some crazy rule that they can't go even if parents stay. All other organised activities seemed to be geared towards older children. Pool...the pools were absolutely not heated. My children love the water and attend swimming lessons every week yet my little boy was screaming going into the swimming pools there as they were so cold. So basically a freezing pool and no proper small children's activities made for long days for little ones. Food...I don't know what other people are eating at home to say this food is good, it was absolutely awful. Just random undercooked food covered in sauce. A whole side of the buffet dedicated to pizza. I actually took a bowl of some sort of chicken salad back to the kitchen staff and said to them this chicken is pink and I have small children eating in here. The guy showed a colleague and they had a wee laugh about it. Another day I was looking for plain yogurt and asked the staff if they had any and the lady said, no, it will arrive later today...sorry, but surely this should be one of the basics that should always be kept stocked up. Not everyone wants to eat syrup and cakes for breakfast. Funnily enough, we have all arrived home ill. My little girl spewed all the way back on the flight. Ps we visit Tenerife twice a year and always go at least half board, and have never complained. Mini disco was a hit with my kids and staff seemed nice enough.

The entertainment team were just amazing all so friendly and made all the activities so fun. While there was something for everyone adults and children, the children’s activities were the best. My 9year old son had amazing holiday he was kept busy all day it was hard to drag him away from the hotel. A special shout to Daniel who went above and beyond with his help and enthusiasm. If you want peace and quiet this hotel is not for you. It didn’t trouble us but hotel so busy all day had music and lots going on. At night when hotel entertainment over 10pm there is a shopping centre next to the hotel with music playing late at night. With door closed in the apartment you would barely hear it.

- laurens1991x (2/5): Would not return! - We recently stayed at HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family Hotel and unfortunately, we wouldn’t return. Pros: - The entertainment team were good, especially for young children. The mini disco from 8:15–8:45pm was a highlight for our little one. we usually went out for the night then returned for the start of the disco. - The location is excellent — very close to the beach, bars, and restaurants. Lots of lovely restaurants nearby! Easy taxi into Las Americas. - The room itself was always cleaned to a good standard. Cons: - The food was honestly horrendous. I’m not sure what people are eating who describe it as “good” in other reviews. - Lunch and dinner for kids was almost always the same: nuggets, chips, pizza. - Adult options felt random and didn’t resemble proper meals — usually one questionable meat option that often didn’t seem well cooked. - Breakfast was chaotic every morning. Kids picking up food with their hands, people pushing and shoving, and tables being wiped with dirty cloths by staff. We actually dreaded going down each day. We booked half board plus and ended up eating out every night except once. Thank goodness we didn’t go all inclusive — it would have been a complete waste. The food was tasteless and nothing like the photos. The reality felt more like a noisy school canteen. - The hotel is very tired and in need of refurbishment. - The beds were awful. My 2-year-old slept on the sofa bed where you could feel the springs, and the main bed was rock solid. - While not directly the hotel’s fault, there were many rude guests — lots of pushing and queue-jumping which added to the stressful dining experience. - No gym — not an issue for everyone, but worth noting if this matters to you. - The lifts were frustrating. Only two in the whole hotel and no up/down system — just one button. You could go from floor 2 to 4 via floor 0, which made getting around slow and annoying. - Sunbeds needed reserving before 9.30am if you wanted one. This is definitely not a 4-star experience. We’ve travelled widely and stayed in everything from luxury hotels to hostels, and this was honestly one of the worst stays we’ve had with our child. The location was the saving grace — if it hadn’t been so good, we would have seriously considered moving hotels. I did raise concerns about the food during our stay and was essentially told to write a review — so here it is.

From the moment we arrived, there was a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. The location is outstanding — right on the beachfront with beautiful coastal walks just outside the door. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down and properly unwind. There were a couple of small hiccups during our stay, but what mattered most was how they were handled. A misunderstanding about late checkout was later clarified with a sincere apology from reception, which we appreciated. We also had a pre-booked taxi that didn’t show up, but we quickly hailed one outside without issue. Neither of these minor situations took away from what was otherwise a very positive experience. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming throughout. Little touches — like giving our child a small treat — showed a real family-friendly attitude and made us feel valued rather than just another room number. The swimming pool area was spotless and very well maintained. Visiting in February meant it was calm and pleasantly uncrowded, which suited us perfectly. It felt peaceful, relaxed and easy. The food was very good, with a wide selection and consistent quality. Everything felt well organised and thoughtfully prepared. We stayed in a comfort apartment and it exceeded expectations — spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and exactly what a proper 4-star hotel should provide. It felt like a place you could genuinely settle into for the week. We also chose to purchase photos from the hotel photographer. While it was an extra expense, the quality was excellent and we’re very glad to have those memories captured. Overall, we left feeling genuinely happy with our stay. It’s a hotel that delivers comfort, location, friendliness and a calm atmosphere. We would absolutely return.
- RogerSB44 (6/5): "Globi... Globi... Globi.... Globi..." - We stayed at Hovima La Pinta in Costa Adeje for a week during February half term. The hotel itself is clean, and the bathrooms are modern—but the rest of the place is quietly screaming “dated.” Pebble dash mania might be the best way to describe it. Pools were warm enough to swim in for the time of year, if they were heated, and there were plenty of sun loungers—though, as always, the morning scramble for towels and prime spots was chaotic. The food… well, let’s just say the website photos of fresh prawns must be from another era. Most of what was served seemed aimed at kids, and what little was left for adults was a bizarre mishmash of “German” and “British” staples that probably don’t exist outside the Canary Islands. Imagine the ghost of English Sunday roast and German sausages—but sadder. We opted to pay extra for the 'Excellence Breakfast', which nudged the food towards above average. The beach was a bright spot—clear water, plenty of little fish, and perfect for snorkelling. Definitely worth hanging out there. All of the staff were also truly lovely and welcoming. However the constant renditions of the 'Globi Song' still haunt my nightmares now - "Globi... Globi... Globi.... Globi..." The surrounding resort, however, is less charming. The hotel overlooks a knackered old shopping centre with a large, condemned lift, and the area is basically a mix of chain shops, massage parlours and football bars (with a regular aroma of weed). Local restaurants? Avoid at all costs. In a week, we didn’t eat anything that didn’t make us wonder if the 1980s had been secretly transplanted there. All in all: a clean, functional hotel with decent pools and a nice beach, but food and surroundings leave a lot to be desired. Bring snacks.
- ZoeMarie07 (10/5): Amazing hotel! You won't be dissapointed. - A bit late with this review but it's definitley worth the mention. A fabulous hotel in a perfect location. We had the excellence package and stayed in a room with fab sea views. Our balcony was huge and it had direct access to the pool. We didn't bother getting loungers around the pool because we had our own sun loungers and comfy seating on our balcony. This is was our 3rd time at this hotel and my daughter gets excited every year about going to kids club. The animation team are just brilliant. They have so many fun activities for the children, especially Halloween. You always make Willow's memories ones that she will never forget. Food was nice, always found something to eat. One thing I didn't like about the chanhe this year was that you had to get your own drinks at evening time and I found it really hard to pour myself a pint of beer (It kept comimg out like froth). All in all, it was a truly, magnificent holiday and we look forward to coming back this year.

Our bedroom apartment with a sea view was lovely! The food in the restaurant was not too bad. I wouldn’t say it was amazing, but there was always something that we found to eat! They went all out for Valentine’s Day and the puddings were lovely! The hotel is in a wonderful location right on the beach of Costa Adeje, it was lovely to be able to just stroll out in the afternoon and have a wander up to fanabe! The entertainment team worked very hard although we didn’t have much use for them with a 10-year-old that was not interested! This did make the pool are very noisy at times! Lots of little supermarkets around and having the fridge in the room it was really handy for storing drink drinks and other snacks. It was a lovely half term break

We cant wait to come back again soon!! - Family of 5, celebrating my dads 70th birthday, we had a lovely gift on arrival and a special birthday delivery on my dads birthday which was a lovely touch. I would deffo upgrade to an excellence room, massive wrap around balcony so you can catch the sun all day!!! Private area to eat breakfast with stunning sea views with table service! All the staff at this hotel are briiliant and go the extra mile with a smile on their face :) We only ate breakfast here (AMAZING) in the excellence resturant. Baby club and Kids club are brilliant my children loved going and made good friends with the entertainment team. Activties are on all day and night for the kids (although we did our own things) Great location for the beach, bars, resturants and shops away from Las Americas. If you have children this is a great hotel to stay!! Happy children = Happy Adults Thank you so much to all of the staff at La Pinta for making our holiday a one to remember. We tried extending our holiday but the rooms were fully booked :( We can't wait to come again !!!!
- Safari561256 (10/5): 50th Birthday - Myself and my husband stayed at La Pinta hotel in January for my husbands 50th birthday, I emailed them a week before hand to see if they could do something for his birthday. They arranged a table for breakfast overlooking the sea, which they also done balloons and a poster and a bottle of champagne. The staff then came out with a cake singing happy birthday to him. Even the the pool entertainers sang to him while relaxing around the pool in the afternoon. The staff are excellent and so helpful, rooms are perfect and they get cleaned daily. Great location. I would highly recommend this hotel and I can’t wait to return.
- Voyage818923 (8/5): Family holiday! - Stayed here with jet2 5 nights, with family- 2 adults and 2 children in Feb ( 5 &1 year olds). Location: it is brilliant location, we were first dropped off on shared transfer and was about 15 minutes which was great. However you are first to be picked up on the way back to airport, You are right on the beach, there’s some steps which takes you down. It is a lovely sandy beach,. You are in a shopping plaza so it is overlooked, however it didn’t feel really overlooked. There’s tons of things to do and so Many shops and excursion companies to go on, it is right on the Marina too. We went on a boat trip with freebird to do dolphin and whale watching! We would absolutely recommend and great for little children too. So great location Hotel; hotel is great, when we arrived, they saw our little one was 4, on his birthday, they sang happy birthday and gave him a little gift of cup and keyring which he didn’t let go the whole time. It is really clean and spacious, lovely decoration, especially the sea art and environment work they have. We stayed in one bedroom apartment which worked well, was clean. We had great view of the sea too. The food was great, the usual what you would expect on All inclusive and same with drinks. They have a lovely outdoor seating area for children We didn’t put our kids in kids club but they looked good and we did see other kids participate, lots of activities. we didn’t stay for evening entertainment as kids were in bed but again looked great. Finished at 10pm and wasn’t loud at all which was great. Pool was lovely, heated to 28.5 degrees, more warmer as day went on, we put our kids in wetsuits which worked well. Kids splash pool was great too. Staff were lovely and friendly. The only negative was that as you are in the resort with shops and bars, a local bar has singing entertainment every night till about 11/midnight which was annoying but nothing to do with the hotel. We would definitely return for a family holiday! Teens may slightly get bored but there’s so much to do around the hotel to keep busy.

Animation team are fantastic with guests. The staff in the whole hotel are incredibly friendly. Hotel was always immaculate. Our first stay in 2025 we were allocated a family room poolside which we loved. For our 2nd stay in Feb 2026 we were allocated a room on 1st floor. Upon arrival we asked the reception if there was any way we could get a poolside room again, which they happily obliged to change for us. 5 stars from us and we will definately be back again 2027.

Strand Zugang ist vorhanden Die Betten waren nicht so gemütlich. Leider kein Doppelbett und die Einzelbetten waren auf Räder. Sobald man zu nahe an das andere Bett gekommen ist, war direkt eine große Lücke.
- AleksandrKur (10/5): Second stay and hopefully not the last one - My family and I stayed at this hotel for the second time — we were here last February as well. We returned again this year and were not disappointed. The location is superb. The direct shortcut access to the beach is a huge plus — I could literally walk from the swimming pool straight to the beach and back in my swim shorts. The activities are great and keep both kids and adults busy almost all day (from 10am to around 5pm). The kids’ club runs twice a day for several hours each time, which worked perfectly for us. The buffet food hasn’t changed much since last year, and the daily selection is fairly similar from day to day. However, our main goal for this holiday wasn’t focused on food, so it was absolutely fine for us — even though I understand that some guests may expect more variety. The food in the Temático restaurant, in my opinion, has improved compared to last year. The only downside is that now you get just one free restaurant visit per week of stay, whereas last year it was two. What truly makes this hotel a winner is the staff. From reception to the cleaning team, everyone is incredibly positive and helpful. I especially want to highlight the animation team and some of the cleaners. I noticed a few cleaners even dancing during the mini disco — such a small detail, but it adds so much fun and really boosts the holiday atmosphere. The animation team is fantastic! Daniel, Georgia, Ambar, Alvaro and Paula — you are stars! Daniel, Georgia and Ambar have been standout performers for the second year in a row. I may not remember everyone’s name, but the whole animation team deserves a standing ovation. They work incredibly hard and truly make the holidays special for the guests. I definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back again.
- davidepF9990XV (10/5): A real family hotel that fulfilled and exceeded our expectations - We spent two weeks in this very comfortable hotel, everything worked smoothly, the structure is very good, the rooms have great space and are well equipped, also the environment is very well managed, the hotel personnel professional and kind, and all the people we interacted made feels us very well, we appreciated all of them, Raffaella, Giorgia, Daniel, Mariana, Ana, Amber, Marco, Nuria, Dominica, Rebecca and likely I missed some name, also our kid enjoyed fully all the day with people always happy to play with him. The swimming pools were heated well fr our needs. The hotel is also well positioned, in front to the beach, and allowed us to enjoy easily of the opportunities of Costa Adeje.

- GRAEMEM93 (8/5): Great hotel and staff, great location. - We have just returned from La Pinta after spending a week half board plus. 2 adults and our 2 year old. This is an honest, genuine review. The hotel is in a great location, easy access to Puerto Colòn beach, immediately adjacent to a multi level complex of restaurants and bars (try Nex1 for excellent coffee). South facing so you will get sun all day and sea views out towards La Gomera island. The staff on reception were excellent and really friendly. You enter at the highest level, level 4, which is street level, the pool/restaurant etc is at level 0. There are 2 lifts to get up and down. If you want to hire towels it’s a 20 euro deposit per towel. Safe needs to be hired also. We had a family room next to the pool which was great. Slide open the doors and enter your own small terrace which is basically poolside. There is a small gate on your terrace which allows you to step out onto poolside. Really handy for families. Excellent access to pool/bar/restaurant etc. Rooms cleaned every day and staff very nice and friendly. Fresh towels daily. Main bedroom was 2 single beds pushed together, one of them had wheels that didn’t lock so I found d myself moving about the room every time I turned over 🤣. Big double bed in the main room was very comfortable. At night it can be slightly loud with singers etc performing in the nearby complexes. Only if you are on the balcony/terrace, Doesn’t affect you when sliding doors are shut. Food was fine, not amazing. Decent selection. Staff work hard in restaurant cleaning and preparing tables etc. There was no fresh food being cooked such as a hot plate for fresh meats etc or someone making fresh omelettes etc. food comes straight from kitchen but still fresh enough. Pool opens at 10am and closes at 6pm. No issues with sunbeds etc, there was more than plenty to go around in January. Lifeguard was really friendly and always a lifeguard on duty. Entertainment team were really good and excellent with kids. Shows were good, some better than others but worth going to see, generally last 45 minutes. Mini disco starts around 2015 until around 2100 then the evening show begins. No table service, and only 2 people working bar so there was so queuing for drinks at times, not really a big deal. You are given a wristband which is your door key and you can use it to charge drinks to your room etc, we did this with a few extra beers/cocktails etc. Pool area large and clean, larger pools are slightly heated. Toddler pool not headed and was pretty cold, just a heads up. We had a neoprene suit for our toddler. Toddler pool could do with being heated but not the end of the world. Pools will be colder in January than the summer. We had a really enjoyable holiday and wanted to stay longer. Would recommend the hotel. We had a look at booking again for next January but the prices are pretty expensive. We don’t think we can justify paying the price. You could probably find a similar hotel for a cheaper price. We have also noticed the local area is becoming increasingly more expensive for goods/meals etc. same as most places I suppose. You can access the beach via stairs next to the swimming pool, there’s a security gate you open with your wrist band. It gets locked at night for security. Beach is lovely. You can use the on site a la carte restaurant during your stay for free, we could use it once. Food was excellent. Service wasn’t the best, had to ask for bread, had to ask for Parmesan for our pasta, were not offered more drinks or water replacement etc. the girl was very nice though. Seemed she could maybe have had more knowledge of the menu. Perhaps she was new, again it’s just a little thing - no big deal. We had a great holiday. Could’ve stayed longer which highlights how much of a good time we had. Thank you.

Been to several hotels over the years in Tenerife and decided to give this ago, we always go all inclusive so not to worry about money even if we drink or not, my wife likes a pink gin now and then but was told they didn’t even have one on all inclusive and would have to pay extra if we wanted one which wasn’t good, we eaten out most of the time after day one due to poor food quality and choice unless you’re willing to pay extra, asked for omelette on first morning but was told we would have to pay extra again, It’s a shame really when you see some of the food that People have paid for they must have some good chefs that are going to waste. everything you would expect to get all inclusive you dont so please don’t bother booking all inclusive if you go. Room was average at best only had one door on wardrobe and had to pay extra for safe deposit box, upside cleaners were spot on and even left our 2 year old grandson a little give which was nice, staff in general was nice hence not leaving one star. For a hotel with a four star TUI rating you would expect more. if you’re going to this hotel please make sure you bring extra money for extras
- mjp152015 (6/5): A holiday spoilt by some rude, ignorant guests - My husband and I stayed for 8 nights. Our original apartment overlooked the pool but I wanted a view of the amazing marina, beach and sea and the manager was so accommodating and moved us to 327. Very clean apartment. All staff and cleaners were very polite, friendly and helpful. Food could have been better for the price ie the main meat dishes. Salads and deserts were plentiful. Pool areas were good. Beautiful position for the sea, beach and numerous restaurants, shops, etc. My biggest problem was that some guests were incredibly unfriendly and rude. I'm a woman of colour and my husband is English. Never have I experienced such hostility and it's not just from some European guests or Spanish guests but from many British guests. None of these guests would acknowledge me, look me in the eye or smile. It was shocking especially when they would instead stare at you and talk about you. . After some time, I just ignored them and tried to enjoy my holiday with my husband and we went out a great deal. I've lived in the UK for 47 years and travelled extensively. It's sad and annoying that many of these guests would travel to Asia, the Caribbean , enjoy it but still be rude to the people who come from these countries. Thank god, there were some civilised guests who smiled and said hello but I will not be visiting this Hotel or others who have similar guests. Time to be selective.

The animation team was amazing , a lot of activities for everyone the food was really good , from breakfast until dinner a lot of choices for everyone. We just came back and we are already looking to book for next year with more family members. We highly recommend to stay at this hotel
- M1751YMivang (10/5): Excellent, family fun filled hotel in a great location to the beach with great staff and food. - This is a great family hotel which is basically a few steps from the beach. The rooms are excellent, very spacious, very clean ( cleaned everyday) with a great balcony. The rooms also have a small kitchen. The food is excellent with so much to choose from at all meals which are buffet style. The staff are fantastic and extremely helpful at all levels.There are lots of activities for the children and the parents too. The swimming pools cater for all ages but the toddlers activity pool is fantastic, our grandchildren loved it and were in it every day, all day 😃. It was our first visit and we are already planning our next visit next year. It definitely has a great family atmosphere, very close to the beach, shops and a great promenade to walk along the seafront.
- C2915VClisaw (2/5): Awful - We stayed at Hovima La Pinta Beachfront and had one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We found cockroaches in both of our rooms, and to make matters worse we also saw cockroaches in the restaurant at breakfast. We were travelling with a 19-month-old child, so this was extremely distressing and completely unacceptable from a hygiene and health point of view. The hotel offered us a room change, but when pests are appearing in guest rooms and food areas, it is clearly a hotel-wide problem, not just one room. Moving rooms would not have solved anything. On top of this, we were placed near a karaoke bar, meaning we had loud noise late into the night, making it impossible for our family to rest. For the price paid and the standards this hotel claims to have, this was shocking. We were left with no choice but to leave the hotel and book alternative accommodation ourselves to protect our child. We would never return and would strongly advise families, especially those with young children, to think very carefully before booking here.
- jp8898 (8/5): Fab location and lovely family friendly hotel but food really is as bad as the reviews say - Hovima review Visited mid Jan 26 The hotel is ideal for young children. Baby club - domenika was lovely with my son. He is 3.5 and I thought he might be bored as it’s called baby club but there was plenty to do, they had play dough, fabric painting and drawing activities plus cars, duplo, puzzles. It was nice that we could go in with him as he is a little sensitive and wouldn’t have wanted to stay on his own. Didn’t actually see anyone leave their child rather than stay but the staff did seem very professional. Kids club - a real downside for the hotel is that the soft play is in the kids club and they that is only for 4+ years old. I think they should specify that more clearly on booking websites because it shows the soft play in photos and that is one of the main reasons we booked the hotel. We specifically asked if we could take our 3y7m old in and either stay with him or not and they said no either way. This is apparently due to the law in Spain about the qualification the staff supervising need to have to be there with under 4s. My son is small so we def couldn’t have got away with saying he is 4. That being said the kids club looked fun - we saw them doing lots of cool games and things like pizza making. The staff seemed very engaged with the kids and I’m sure for a 4-12 year old it would be really fun. Mini disco 8.15pm every day - my son had a lot of fun at this. Mostly inside though one wevening was outside which was a bit chilly so bring jumpers. Pools - temperature was great. Haven’t been to a hotel where the heated pool actually felt warm like this. Sign said 28.5 degrees which I believe. It’s not like a bath but that would be pretty unpleasant. When the sun isn’t out it’s quite cold in the wind to get out but lovely when you’re in. Food - honestly the only bad thing about the hotel. I had read the reviews and really thought people were being picky as buffet food is just buffet food. Dinners had limited variety and just some odd choices. It was annoying they mixed the sauce into the pasta rather than having plain pasta and separate sauce options like other buffets catering for children do. The pasta was also always either overcooked or undercooked. Meat was tough and tasteless. Seafood I was too scared to try but my husband said it wasn’t great. No show cooking (not even omelettes at breakfast) The variety at lunch was very poor, and mostly repeats from the night before in strange combinations. Breakfast was ok because how wrong can you go but Sausages were so strange - the “English” ones were the most anaemic looking strange tasting things and the frankfurters were an odd texture. Fried eggs were like rubber. Only nice touch was Buck’s Fizz available every morning! And they sang happy birthday to people, that was cute. I personally think they shouldn’t bother trying to cater to foreign tastes and just go with Spanish food! I would agree with others who say probably best to go half board max unless you are likely to really make the most of the alcohol on the all inclusive. There are so many restaurants nearby, wouldn’t say they are amazing food but nicer than hotel for sure and reasonable price. Drinks at the hotel when not on all inclusive are pretty reasonable if you’re ok with local drinks so you’d have to drink a lot to make the AI worth it I think. Location is great with direct access to the beach/seafront through a secure exit from the pool. It’s not a private beach for the hotel, so loungers and parasols are extra but not too expensive (16 for a day) It is quite noisy at night as you are right in the midst of the bars and restaurants but the sound proofing is good in the room from the outside once the door is shut. There was quite a bit of noise from the apartment above us, kids running around and cleaners moving furniture. The hotel is really clean - you see people constantly cleaning around the communal and the pool. You can pay 20 euros deposit to rent beach towels which you get back at the end. Room - we had a superior apartment which was perfect for our needs. The sea/pool view was lovely in the evenings and would mean when the entertainment was outside you could watch from your balcony. There were some cool apartments on the ground floor with direct access to the pool via a gate (I think maybe “family” rooms).

- brandonpE2327OA (10/5): Fantastic - Very good! We had a bit of an Issue with our booking upon arrival. We were down on the system for half board only but we booked all inclusive. To make things a bit awkward it was bank holiday upon our arrival and was told solution would be found the following day. However the hotel manager aloud us to carry on with all inclusive regardless but if it was a mistake our end we would have been charged for the days usage of all inclusive. Following day came and there was a mixed wire between on the beach and the hotel and everything was resolved. Location is absolutely spot on. It caters for everything you may need while on holiday. Beach on your doorstep with supermarkets and restaurants all within a walking distance. The rooms are very clean, they’re cleaned everyday with towels also changed daily. Food is as you’d expect, get what you pay for.. there is a variety and the salad is surprisingly very fresh every day! Noise level is as expected around the pool with it being a family hotel. My 2 and 4 year old daughters are loving it. The entertainment is very good and David is an incredible guy, along with Alvwo and all the other entertainment staff. They push to make sure all children are having a great time and don’t leave any of the kids out. We will most definitely be visiting again as we believe we feel we have found a hotel that caters for all our needs in our personal favourite area of Tenerife.
- casmyth90 (8/5): Fab hotel, food let's it down - We stayed here in July having booked last minute and managed to get an excellence plus room. The staff at reception were very friendly and welcoming, you are given a wrist band which also works as your room key. As it was late when we arrived we were told to leave our luggage and head down for dinner before the restaurant closed. Once we were fed and watered we headed back to reception and got our luggage before heading to the room. Our room was great, one of the best we have stayed in. It was spacious and modern, and had a great view over the hotel and beach. We could sit on our balcony each night and listen to the music coming from the sky bar just opposite! The fridge had also been stocked on our arrival with 2 bottles of beer, some water and soft drinks as well as a jar of cookies which was really nice. Rooms were cleaned each day and spotless. Location- doesn't get much better! The only thing that let's the hotel down is the food. As we were in an excellence room we could have our breakfast overlooking the beach which was beautiful and order off a menu along with your buffet style, it was much quieter than the main restaurant but the food was terrible. We were half board plus which meant we could choose between lunch and dinner. Most days we chose lunch (you inform reception the evening before), it was just OK. Most drinks are self serve apart from wine which you have to ask waiting staff for. We had a really enjoyable stay apart from the food. Our 6 year old loved the kids club, they had lots to do and a soft play area. We would stay again but only if there was a self catering option as we would not eat here again.

There are many cafés and restaurants along the beach. ROOMS: Our family room for two adults and two children was spacious and consisted of two rooms. One room had a mini-kitchen with everything you need and a full-size comfortable sofa bed, which is quite rare. FOOD: Basic, but you won’t go hungry. ANIMATION: This is the best thing about the hotel. Children are entertained all day long with various workshops and games. Special thanks to the animator David! - 397evieh (10/5): What a breath of fresh air!! - First of all apologies for the late review. What a breath of fresh air this hotel is and it’s difficult to know where to start! But what I can say is that Raffaella the guest experience manager was kind, thoughtful, fun and made our stay at your hotel better then we could have imagined. We initially weren’t staying in this hotel but my wife took ill on holiday and had to have emergency surgery. Our travel insurance company arrange d our stay at Hovima La Pinta and we are so glad of it. The level of professionalism every member of staff that we came into contact with was on a different level. Everyone was so incredibly kind and helpful, nothing was ever too much. they really are true assets to the hotel. Along side all of this, the cleanliness of hotel, pool area and restaurants was impeccable. The rooms are so spacious and beautiful with great views overlooking the beach. So much going on for the kids and adults, a lot of day time activities and evening entertainment. So close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shops and very family friendly. Raffaella even checked in on us once we had returned back home and then even sent a happy birthday email to our daughter Sunny…. Different level of professionalism here. I highly recommend this hotel, we will 100% be returning to this as a family hopefully at some point this year. Thank you for turning our nightmare holiday into happiness in the end. Chris & Evie

Our family room was two sofa beds (for a 4 and 2 year old) in the front room with access to the kitchen, patio and main door. We stayed for 9 nights and only attended for breakfast twice due to the poor food and drink, we didn’t even attempt the evening food due to the poor choice and quality. The worst part was our family room was right across from a bar blasting music until 1 in the morning. We complained to reception but we could only be moved into a smaller room or would have to pay even more.

- Geordieboyo7 (6/5): Mixed Emotions - We returned to this hotel after a great stay last year for Xmas and NY. Unfortunately, the standards weren’t the same and we left with mixed emotions of our stay. Beware - there has been a recent rule change that kids under 4 cannot use the soft play due to accidents. This was one of the reasons we booked this hotel for the soft play area which kills an hour or 2 for the kids. Instead, they need to use ‘baby club’ which is small and not great for a 3-4 year old. We had an issue with cockroaches on the 4th floor for the best part of a week. Including in the bed ! After insisting on the room being fumigated, we had no more issues The male toilet by the bar on the GF (the only one) was out of order for 2 weeks and still wasn’t fixed by the time I left. This isnt acceptable during busy periods like Xmas and NY when the var area is busy. The location is central so expect noise til mid night. Food was OK. Staff were great Animation team brilliant and friendly Not sure I can warrant 4 stars this year. A lot of improvement needed to warrant a 4 star hotel. We will look elsewhere for this year.

Staff stopped me at reception, refused to allow me any further....seemed to think I wanted to enter the pool. I was with my 80 year old mother and no one wanted in the pool. Staff were rude, very unfriendly, rather obnoxious. I understand Spanish and when a college appeared she was told we wanted to enter the pool. This was never the case and they were advised of that. I felt very uncomfortable there and will never return....guest, or family of guest. Very unpleasant.

- iancD9440OR (10/5): La Pinta Hovima Beachfront Hotel – fantastic stay - What a fantastic place to stay. We visited the week before Christmas 2025 and couldn’t fault the experience. From arrival, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by a friendly and conscientious reception team. Despite our flight being delayed, they still ensured we were able to get into the dining room for dinner, which was very much appreciated. Our room was on the 1st floor: a clean and tidy apartment with a lovely view of the sea and beach from the balcony. It included a basic kitchenette, a pull-out bed, a separate room with two single beds pushed together, and a bathroom with an amazing full-power shower. Some of the reviews we read commented negatively on the food, which in my opinion is unfair. Portions were not restricted, and the quality and variety of meals throughout our stay were excellent. Breakfast isn’t your typical full English (there’s a café up the hill if that’s what you’re after), but instead offers an impressive selection of local dishes, cooked and continental options, fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, plenty of choice for everyone. Lunch again had lots of variety, with fresh fish and rice, as well as potatoes and chips for children. Dinner always has a theme, Asian, Indian, English and, of course, Spanish with a great hot and cold selection alongside additional options such as pizza, paella and a delicious choice of desserts. The chefs and waiting staff were outstanding: always present, friendly and happy to help. The pool is heated, though it will still take your breath away when you first get in! As you relax beside it catching the rays, one thing becomes very noticeable, there is always someone cleaning something. The housekeeping team work tirelessly in the background, keeping everything spotless from top to bottom. The pool bar staff are equally friendly and helpful. If you’re fully inclusive, snacks are also available; in fact, apart from about one hour, you could eat between roughly 08:00 and 21:00 if you wished. Finally, this truly is a family hotel, and they absolutely live up to that promise. There is entertainment for both children and adults, though you do need to get involved. There’s a kids’ club from around age 4, running approximately 10:15–17:00, plus a mini film night and mini disco later on. Our daughter is 10 and absolutely loved it, becoming fully immersed in the environment. For us “older children”, there was everything from beer pong and yoga to pool aerobics and even necklace making. I’d also like to personally recognise some of the fantastic staff (this list isn’t exhaustive, just those I’d especially like to thank): Entertainment – Daniel, a total star, with a smile, a whistle and a joke. Kids’ club – Georgia and Amber, thank you for taking such great care of my daughter. Restaurant – Manuel, for teaching me Spanish while checking in. Pool bar – Yeray, Stephan and Rebecca, for the constant smiles and endless piña coladas. Overall, a wonderful hotel in a brilliant beachfront location, with excellent food and genuinely welcoming staff. We would happily return.
- U4651NXcaroliner (8/5): La Pinta - Lovely hotel , staff very helpful, we upgraded our room to one that had sunbeds on the balcony the fridge was restocked daily with water coke sprite and beer, room was spotless plenty space for us, we went just the 2 of us it is very much a family hotel all ages of children are kept busy and entertained, we found out we could go to a smaller restaurant to get breakfast and also we discovered a bit late we could book same restaurant for evening meal this we did once and it was lovely chef khalija and waiters yasmany and aita looked after us and food was fab. There was the option of going to the main restaurant for meals which we did and it was goodthough it was very busy, would we go back yes as long as we can upgrade rooms again, lovely hotel staff fab and central for everything.
- Mattash1 (10/5): Excellent Stay!! - We have just returned from a lovely week at the Hovima La Pinta Beachfront Hotel. We have stayed at the Hovima Costa Adeje which is just up the road lots of times over the years, but decided to try a half Board plus at the La Pinta with our daughter, son in law and grandchildren. On arrival, we were met by lovely reception staff who had kindly arranged for us to stay next door to our family who had arrived three days earlier. We were on the very top floor (6th) which had the most amazing view over La Pinta beach. During our stay we had several friendly chats to the guest relations staff Eva and Georgia who were extremely attentive to our grandchildren and even knew their names! Thanks again Georgia, we really appreciated your attentiveness and excellent customer service. The breakfast was a pretty standard buffet style with everything you could want but we were very impressed with the evening meals especially the gala night which was amazing! We also had three lunches at the hotel restaurant and again were very happy with the food choices. The waiting staff Javier & Diego were both excellent and were really great with the children. The staff at the pool bar (Rebecca and Aitor) were super friendly and told us all of the ingredients in the cocktails we ordered. The whole complex is being cleaned constantly by hard working staff and our room was cleaned every day with clean white fluffy towels replaced daily. Our apartment was a very good size, especially for two of us. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well every night. The entertainment staff work hard and both of our grandchildren loved the mini disco but didn’t manage every night as it didn’t start until 8.15pm. A big shout out to David & Aivaro, they both worked hard and were super friendly. The hotel is set in the middle of the resort with lots of bars and restaurants around so can be noisy in the evenings. However once you shut your patio doors it made a huge difference. The only negative was the fact that the hotel lift only goes to the 4th floor so the reception staff told us to use the staff service lift to the 5th floor and then carry the buggy (and suitcases) up a flight of stairs to our room. However, staff did help our family when first arriving to their room with all of their belongings. This was only a slight inconvenience but worth it for the amazing view. Was great to see and catch up with Mickey in his new role. Overall we had a fantastic holiday in a lovely hotel in a brilliant location, spotlessly clean and with extra friendly and helpful staff. We would most definitely return back to the Hovima La Pinta Beachfront Hotel. Thank you Matt & Asha

The rooms are simple but did the job with everything needed for a half board stay , supermarkets close by , swimming pools warmed so very nice and comfortable especially for young children. Daniel & David were great with the children and the sangria days were exceptional. Very clean. Staff always greeting with smiles and the reception staff were faultless. Dad with three children 10, 11 & 14 years old. We were half board plus which caters for breakfast and dinner (also unlimited drinks during lunch/dinner hours). Absolutely no hassle to change dinner to lunch which was very helpful. Wouldn’t like to eat at the hotel three times a day so having the flexibility to swap lunch and dinner was great. Beach literally on doorstep and overall we felt the place to be clean, staff very approachable and location ideal for entertainment etc. Would definitely return.

We have been so lucky with the weather too which always helps 😁 This is the first time my daughter has took any interest in a kids club , its never been something she has wanted to do before, but the men and women running the club are fantastic, they are so friendly and caring and the entertainment they provide is outstanding. There is a soft play within the kids club which is a big hit too! The hotel is right on the beach so you have the option to be by the pool or by the sea without too much walking. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel is spotless clean, the staff are all so lovely and helpful. The room is large and clean, it is set up for self catering with a fridge, kettle,coffee machine and toaster which is handy....but does not provide coffee or tea bags. I would say the only let down for this hotel is the food...there is not a great option and sometimes very samey, but we have managed, we are half board and found the lunch options to be better than dinner so we have done that towards end of our holiday and had lunch in the hotel and ate dinner out which has suited us much better. I would definitely recommend the hotel and I would come back but maybe on a self catering if they offered it.

- laurabS7933EN (10/5): Amazing hotel! - What an amazing hotel for families! All the staff really do make your stay the best. We notified them it was our daughter’s birthday and they went above & beyond (especially as our daughter is petrified of balloons so worked around it). We had birthday banners up on arrival with sweets for her. Then at breakfast a table decorated for her and they sang happy birthday with birthday crepes and a candle. The hotel is very clean, food is the best food we’ve ever had at an all inclusive! Actually tasty food not bland buffet food you normally get. Really ideally located with plenty of shops/ bars/ restaurants etc surrounding the hotel and on the beach front. We only went for 3 nights to celebrate the birthday but will hopefully go back for longer. My only gripe and negatives to the hotel was there was tea & coffee making facilities, but no tea/ coffee or milk provided. For staying half board I would have expected sachets of these to use throughout our stay. 2nd negative was the bathroom door is glass see through. Not ideal when you want a bit of privacy. These are my only negatives and would definitely recommend!

- amyfU5664RV (6/5): Kids club rules for 'babies' below age 4 - Currently here - 6 nights with 2.5 year old half board plus. Superior room is lovely with view. Noisy from skybar (expected in this area) but not an issue for us. Standard breakfast disappointing full of tinned fruit, no omlette or bananas. Had major cleaning issues first days (broken glass and peanuts on floor). Staff on guest services team were great and sorted this. We got upgraded to excellence breakfast. This is the standard of breakfast i would expect at a 4 star hovima hotel. Dinner first night (saturday) was awful. Luckily this seemed to be a one off and there has been a slightly better food choice since. I never believe when i read reviews moaning about food. If your child is under 4 they cannot use mini club and soft play - even if you stay with them this is deemed unsafe! There is a baby club (children up to age 4 are classed as babies!!) which is inadequate for entertaining children over 18 months. One girl works in baby club. She had to sit with a crying baby (actual baby) all the time i was in yesterday. Today the baby club was inside the mini club for cookie making. I had not booked and was told by 2 members of staff (felt like the bouncers on the door) my child could not get in and they would show me how to work the app and book her for tomorrow. They both suggested she could go into the baby club and play by herself (with me) whilst all the other children played in mini club!! Turned her away, would not let her in to play! Another child got the same treatment after us. This is a disgrace for a "family" hotel that costs a lot of money. I would not have wrote about the glass, peanuts or meals but this is completely unacceptable telling a wee girl she cannot come and play with other children. We have been to tagoro, gf isabel and sunwing. All are more accomodating than this and let a child in with parents to play. Wanted to highlight this for anyone considering coming with a child younger than 4 as i came here for the children's facilities and it has been a huge let down since all these new rules have been put in place for kids club. Also this is not school holiday season so not many children are older than 5. I have visited the hovima costa adeje adults only many times and this unfortunately doesnt meet the same standard.

- Drkata40 (2/5): FOOD POISONING - I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone!!! This was our second stay here, and we went through a horrible experience. After one of the dinners, my husband became very ill — he vomited a lot, was extremely weak, and had a high fever. During dinner, he complained that one of the dishes he ate tasted bad. (I should note that the quality of the food has significantly declined over the past year.) My daughter and I did not eat that dish. He got FOOD POISONING, and it’s only thanks to sheer luck that it didn’t have more serious consequences. (He only ate at the hotel and didn’t drink tap water.) We reported the issue to the hotel, but of course, they denied responsibility, saying that no one else had reported such a problem (which we’ll obviously never be able to verify) and claiming it must have been a virus. If it had been a virus, we would have gotten sick too — especially since my husband was ill to a degree he’s never experienced before. We’ve traveled to many places around the world, but we have never experienced anything like this. The hotel’s response (after several complaints) was to invite us to an “exclusive dinner” as compensation — which, let’s be honest, is rather bizarre and outrageous after such an incident. Needless to say, we will never return to this place.
