• Wai Yu (10/5): - The property had appeared a bit deteriorated. But other than that, the room was spacious and had everything we needed. It’s located in a beautiful and tranquil area and was close to tourist spots. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good.

• Annik (4/5): - Malheureusement, malgré des chambres dites non fumeur, le fumoir de l’étage dégage une odeur dans toutes les chambres. Le tapis est tellement usé qu’il est troué dans les chambres et le corridor. Ces deux aspects donnent un aspect repoussant à tout l’hôtel. Toutefois, la salle de bain est grande et propre et les lits aussi. Le personnel est courtois.

The room was spacious, allowing plenty of space to move around, which made for a very comfortable stay. I slept well, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you’re renting a car, I highly recommend this place! High season with a affordable price as well

• pusapusa (2/5): もったいないプライドのないホテル Hotel w/o pride - English below 開業以来手を入れていないようです。部屋は古く、床も椅子も写真のとおりです。床は何とか隠そうとはしてあります。また、部屋はとりあえず禁煙となっていましたが、廊下がタバコ臭い。エレベーター脇に喫煙室があり、それと以前からの床にしみ込んだ臭いを放置しているようです。もし階で禁煙・喫煙をわけているのなら、ホテル側の都合ではなく、客にフロアの選別を聞くべきではないでしょうか。ひとつ面白いことは、こうした欠点があるにもかかわらず、トイレだけ蓋が自動で開くタイプでした(!) 立地は丘の上なので遠くからも見え、それなりに見えます。もっと手を入れれば集客を望めるのかなと思います。 The corridor is filled with cigarette smell, and the room is worn as shown in the pics. It appears that they have done no renovation since its establishment. The hotel stands on a hill, and it looks nice from a distance. They simply have not kept up with its attractive location (20 min to Naka Furano, the heart of the flower gardens) nor have they provided a cleaner ambience. Interestingly, despite all these time-lagged managerial attitudes, the toilet comes with an automatic cover--as you enter the bathroom, it automatically opens (!).

• 2001-maria (8/5): 富良野ポップスホテルで食事‼️ - 　私は上富良野におばあちゃんの家があるので泊まってはいませんが食事だけさせてもらいました🍽 食事はフルコースで、蟹の茶碗蒸しや海鮮のちらし寿司など北海道らしい食べ物もありました。 特に美味しかったのは富良野牛🐄？のしゃぶしゃぶとデザートの苺のムース🍓は特に美味しかったです☺️☺️ また、トイレを使った際ラベンダーの香りがし、ラベンダーの飾りなどが置いていて可愛いかったです ロービーはゆったりとしていてとてもホーム感のあるホテルでした‼️ 少し山の上にあるので歩いて行くのは難しいかと… でも、十勝岳が天気の良い日は見れますよ〜 I think this hotel is good because you can eat Wonderful meal 😁😁 I ate Steamed crab teacup🦀,Seafood Chirashi Sushi and so on.... Particularly Furano's beef 🐄 Shabu-shabu, Strawberry mousse 🍓 is the best to taste!! Let’s go to kamifurano in Hokkaido !!

• Verified traveler (10/5): 広くて大満足です - 富良野を旅行していて突然延泊するにあたって、こちらが良さそうだったのでそのまま予約して宿泊。 シーズンオフだからか、がらんとしていました。 その分静かでゆっくりできます。 部屋はとても広く、1人でしたがツインルームでベッドは大きくセミダブル。 坐り心地の良いソファーとテーブルあり。 お風呂は洗い場と浴槽が独立しているので、家のお風呂のようでくつろげる。 しかも温泉です。 最高でした。 周囲にはほとんど何もありませんので、食事などが不便です。

• jayeon (4/5): 불만족스러운 숙박 - 후라노 비에이 여행을 위해 2박을 했습니다. 낡은것은 알았지만 관리인력이 너무 부족하다고 생각됩니다. 에코플랜으로 침대시트를 갈지 않았는데ᆢ 침대시트 위의 겉이불은 계속 세탁않고 사용하는것으로 보입니다. 저랑 와이프랑 숙박중과 숙박후 뭔지 작은 벌레에 여러곳이 물렸는데ᆢ 아무리 생각해도 방에서 물린것으로 생각됩니다. 방이 넓은것 말고는 추천하고 싶지 않아요~~ 호텔은 좀 더 많은 인력을 사용해서 관리할 필요가 있다고 생각합니다

• Verified traveler (4/5): Be careful of the room type - The type that we book from hotel.com was "Other". We thought it was a Japanese style room. For us, as long as it is a room, we are ok with that since we will get there late and will leave early in the morning. However, they offer us a tent outside of the hotel. The manager told us it was the mistake from hotel.com. So we had to book another hotel to stay in that late night. The manager told us that he would cancel our reservation and refund us. However, 2 weeks after our trip, we still don't get any refund. So we are not satisfy with the followup service from the hotel and very disappointed with hotel.com. They didn't help us to find another hotel with a room that night and kept us on hold for about an hour. And now, they don't even offer to refund us. This is the most disappointed hotel experience.

• SRQueenan (2/5): Caution camping scam - I booked a double room non smoking. When I arrived they told me they only had camp sites. They did not care that I didn't book a camp site and was left without a room. In the end they refunded half my money but I shouldn't have to pay anything for their mistake. The staff were rude and unconcerned about it.

• Ange1yn (10/5): Love it!!! - I enjoyed my stay v much at Furano Hops hotel. The rooms and fittings were all new n sparkling clean. Toilet n bath was also clean n comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and scrumptious. My family ate our fill n were totally satisfied. The staff were all very friendly n helpful. Do come to this hotel! It is set on a hill n recommended to drive here.

• JG20198 (10/5): Good breakfast with good room and friendly staff - We had a wonderful stay here at this hotel. Staffs are extremely friendly and helpful to provide us information around this area. Yummy and delicious breakfast for all of us. Room is very spacious and clean. The garden around this hotel can be improved to provide better view to guests.
• Andrew_Deep_Blue (8/5): Check out the view! - This hotel is old but one which still functions fairly well. Check in was smooth and trouble-free. The staff was engaging and helpful. The room might be old style but it comes with a smartphone which one can use to surf the net. The room is also laid out in what you would expect your typical Western style hotel room to look like which is a good thing in that it is familiar to a lot of travellers. Travellers would be glad to know that the hotel bathroom is large and has a proper segregation between the bathing area (comprising a bath tub and shower area) and the sink section (which comes with a generous counter area). The hotel sits on a hill which gives it a commanding view of the surrounding Furano town...and of the majestic mountain ranges (still snow-capped at this time of the year)! There is a large imposing statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Compassion which could be a new addition located near the hotel. Japanese breakfast was provided and held in a cosy 10-table room for our party of 12. I recommend this hotel for travellers to the wonderful town of Furano who want a fuss-free stay in a hotel with a truly unique offering of a view of the majestic mountain range located nearby.
• woozie3 (10/5): Hospitality and great view - We arrived by car on a quiet day for the hotel and parked right at the front door. Lobby and elevator had a faint smell of cigarettes, but not too bad. Room was great- great view on a sunny day, clean and spacious, working air cond. It had a quaint feel to it- same as the rest of the hotel. There was a handwritten welcome note, which was a nice touch. Bathroom was impressive and seems quite new, with all the amenities. We had a good, affordable dinner at their restaurant (they have pasta, wagyu beef, salmon, pork) and great conversation with their maitre de, who was so generous to us and friendly. Great stay!

Very friendly staff, who offered free shuttle to Furano ski area. Location is a little removed, probably better to have a car if you stay here
• jeffl233 (6/5): A bit dated but a cheaper option if visiting the Furano area - We stayed here on a ski trip , mostly because we were having difficulty finding lodging in Furano closer to skiing. The place was clean and staff was nice. Breakfast included a mix of traditional Japanese & western options. The drive to Furano ski area was pretty straight forward - not a big deal staying there if you want to save some money.

Though limited English, he managed to help us with dinner reservations and recommended us a nice local pub. The room was spacious but overall the entire hotel needs a make over. Location was good but without a car, a bit difficult to reach. The Japanese breakfast was mediocre even for local standards.
• jenny (6/5): - Aircon didn’t work in my room, nobody told us until we were sweating at 11pm night time. They gave us a fan and promised to fix the aircon, but was not fixed for the next 3 days we stayed. I doubt the aircon was ever working for a long time.

The air conditioner was broken during our stay, no one informed us during check in, we were sweating hard during the night and had to go downstairs at 11pm to enquirer about the air con, only then they gave us a fan to use in the room. the standard of this hotel is more of a motel, the beds were also very uncomfortable and the blanket was actually more of a motel style comforter (bed cover)

At the morning breakfast, the staff , a retired army guy, speaks good English and was helpful to call up our next hotel to confirm booking

• Lim (10/5): Comfortable hotel with a lovely view - My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The room and bathroom were surprisingly spacious and clean. The staff were very welcoming and exceptionally helpful, especially Mr Fukase. Breakfast was adequate.
• LIANGKIANG (10/5): Good view from room . - Good for families with car .
• barry (8/5): Hops on the way - Stopover on the way to Asahikawa. Quiet place. Free parking. However, had to drive out for dinner. Bed was a bit hard. Overall, no major complaints.
• Chee Seng (10/5): Satisfactory stay - Very large room provided. Clean facilities but a little dated.
• Verified traveler (8/5): breakfast are nice - nice room and the place are quite good for view
• Verified traveler (6/5): Quiet hotel - Hotel is only reachable by private transport, onsen style bathroom is one of the highlight of the room. Very quiet and nice view from the room
