• Josie (8/5): Excellent bnb in the centre of gorgeous keswick - Excellent location, lovely hosts, cosy space. Nice clean room and en suite. Good options of breakfast! Keswick is a great place for a weekend away too and the centre is 5 min walk away! The host also provided recommendations of cool places to go and eat and we always had a positive experience there! You should be able to find free parking somewhere in the nearby streets if driving in.

Location is a short walk into the town centre. Highly recommended.

• Elizabeth (9/5): We enjoyed our stay very much and would be happy to do it all again. - Very good location, just a short walk into the centre of Keswick, and you can walk to Cat Bells and other fells from here. Our room (6, on the top floor) was very well equipped, and a very comfortable bed and great views of mountains from both windows. Breakfast offered almost every conceivable choice and was excellent, and it was very useful to have a list of local eateries which Liz and Chris enjoy (especially the Dog & Gun). They were friendly and helpful and we would certainly be happy to stay again. Parking is on the street, so no reserved spaces, but spaces became available in roads close by. Maybe it was because our room has two outside walls and insulating these lovely old buildings is difficult, but when the heating was turned off in the evening we felt the temperature in the room start to fall almost immediately. An additional small heater in this room would be useful.

Lovely welcome our room was spotlessly clean very comfy with everything we needed for a relaxed 2 night stay. Close to the centre of lovely Keswick some great walk. Breakfast was fabulous too.
• Rosie (10/5): Fantastic Stay - Liz and Chris were fantastic hosts, we had a wonderful stay and the room and bathroom were absolutely spotless. Lovely quality duvet, and fantastic breakfast of yoghurt and fruit, homemade granola, cereals, tea, coffee, toast and local jams, and a full English breakfast. They also offer vegetarian options and avocado and poached egg on toast. The options were vast and high quality. They go above and beyond for guests, and catered specifically to my partner being gluten free by providing gluten free bread and granola at breakfast. We will certainly be back and will be recommending Goodwin House to family and friends. Thank you!

• Philip (10/5): An excellent Keswick Guesthouse - This is a great guesthouse in the centre of Keswick, an ideal location with access to all the walks direct from the doorstep. I had an excellent stay with the highlights being a friendly and attentive host, super clean room with a comfortable bed (big plus after a day out walking) and an awesome breakfast with loads of options. Highly recommend if you’re looking at visiting the area :)

A lovely and exceptionally clean and comfortable room with everything you’d need for a stay, including the most gorgeous smelling toiletries! Chris and Liz were really lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and the homemade granola scrummy! We’ll be back! X

However, this was my forth consecutive stay at Goodwin House, either as a solo traveller, or more often with my partner, but always thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. • Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely Place and Lovely People! - Such a lovely place! The rooms are very nice and the breakfast is delicious! Very sweet people too! The only downside is that they don’t keep your luggage until later in the day for you, which is so essential for someone like me who doesn’t have a car to store their things in and is dependent on bus schedules and each B&B’s arbitrary check in and out times. They recommended I leave my luggage at a laundromat in town, but it would have been really nice and helpful if they would have an extra key and lock box just to access the downstairs room to store it in during the afternoon. They said they don’t do it because they might not be there, but the lock box could solve the problem and would make a world of difference to guests like me! Just a suggestion for the future! ❤️ Otherwise, it was a wonderful stay!

The breakfast was very tasty, with plenty to choose from and a decent spread for continental breakfast. And the B&B was in a good location, just a 5 minute walk to the edge of the centre of Keswick. We would definitely return to and recommend Goodwin House when visiting Keswick!
