Staff were very friendly. Only negative was that check-in was very slow with just one person on reception. Overall it met our expectations and we would stay there again.

• GPaCalgary (8/5): A Great Place to Stay - We have stayed here a number of times during our trips between Calgary and Pender Island. The place is always clean and comfortable. The included breakfast on the main floor is always fresh, hot, and tasty, including the waffles and eggs etc etc. Reasonably priced, and handy to local gas stations and restaurants and the TransCanada highway.

• Tanya (10/5): Amazingly seamless and relaxing. - Location, neighbors were friendly, house is immaculate. Directions were clear and concise when booking and arrival. Hosts communicated during the entire stay.
• Chin man (7/5): Good for family especially budget friendly and in rainy day - Great indoor swim pool that entertains kids so much. Breakfast is great. Staff is great. Room is ok and clean, but outdated. Room sound proof is bad. Too noisy at night from the other room, such as showing, walking and door closing. Also from outside train that u can even feel the room is shaking.

• James (7/5): Convenient to the highway. - Easy to find, great parking, fabulous staff Very much an “econo” property; not what I’ve experienced from previous Hilton stays. Beds “ok” (nothing beats a Hyatt bed), sheets had some grit on them. Breakfast wholesome but certainly not “excellent”. Flimsy paper plates and wood cutlery reduced the experience. Staff was attentive to keep the eatery clean. No food service availability outside of the breakfast.

I was disappointed there wasn't a robe and slippers in the room to wear down to the pool area, or lockers in the pool area if we're expected to change there. No one wants to walk the halls in swimwear.

• Kimberley (9/5): We utilized all the amenities and were very well taken care of. Wonderful stay. - Check in staff was exceptional. Katherine was very accommodating of our large group that had varied check in times. We even got wonderful fresh cookies from the check in staff! Our rooms were close together as requested. We received text messages keeping us informed of our check ins, and making sure we didn't need anything further in our room. There were plenty of towels for each room. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and well stocked. The sinks were slow to drain, and the cooling system in the room was a little noisy.

• David (6/5): It was fine, it was expensive (especially since the pool was closed). The stay had pros and cons. - Rooms were clean and breakfast was half decent, staff was very friendly. Pool/waterslide was closed, which is the reason why we booked this hotel for our family. We also called the day before to request side by side rooms, they assured me that it wouldn’t be an issue, but when we arrived they didn’t have the request on file and all their rooms beside one another were taken, so we were out of luck.

The hotel took an upfront deposit of approx CAD$75.00; said it would be returned after check out but it was never returned. NOT HAPPY! Also the fridge made a lot of noise in the room and trucks leaving or arriving through the night woke me up.

Rooms have an odd smell. Bathrooms need updating. Sink and tub drains partially clogged, standing in an inch of water by the time a shower is finished. Shampoo dispenser empty, how much attention is housekeeping paying to basic things. Earring in the carpet between the beds.
