• Lindsey (6/5): Couldn’t sleep due to bed being hard and woke up extremely tired. - Nice and clean. Good area. Room 103 had the hardest bed I have ever slept in. Got maybe 4hrs of sleep. The manager needs to just go sit on it and will know how hard it is. Lay in it 5min you will want to get up.

When arriving into room found nice and neat and clean. Breakfast had a variety of options for it being continental. Great stay.

Lengthy breakfast time, so if you're up early, you're good to go. Was here for a work quick trip, but would stay again next time I'm in the area. Recommend staying if you're in Cotulla.

• Dcvroom (6/5): In a pinch - I spent two weeks and left with mixed feelings. The hotel itself is worn and showing its age, but not bad. The staff is, for the most part, friendly and helpful. They are also very young, which is fine, but it seemed like they were missing the adult in charge. A lot of unforced errors between housekeeping mix-ups, being out of coffee, and a general sense that no one was in charge. It's likely tough to find proper staffing in a small town with a lot of hotel competition serving a transient customer base such as myself. That being said, I'll be trying the Candlewood next hitch, not due to the staff itself, but the amenities and condition of the rooms themselves, Pros: -Free breakfast and dinner with extended hours which is nice for the customer base they serve -Free coffee 24/7 (except when they drop the ball) -Friendly staff -Beds are comfy; a big plus. Cons: -The food is very meh. Reminded me of school lunches from back in the day. Who was preparing mattered, as sometimes not bad. To be expected given the lack of a real kitchen. -The showers are terrible- low water pressure (somewhat understandable given it's south Texas). Horrid soft water, too much softener, to the point that no matter how much you scrub, you feel slimy. This is the deal breaker for me. Also, rarely hot water, regardless of morning or night. The rooms are fair, and as I mentioned, pretty worn carpet and furniture. There were other nit picks, but were handled by staff (such as missing TV remote, etc). Overall, not up to the Hilton brand, but livable.

Because it was a last-minute change, for us with plans falling through, your support late in the day for the event the next day literally saved the day for us. On top of that you moved some items around in the conference room at your location that were being used for renovations that afforded a little more room to enter and exit and sit. Your team was extremely kind and helpful. In this day and age, we just don't see the type of kindness and assistance your team provided, so it is especially appreciated. Thank you to you and your team in multiples!

• 108jeremiaht (10/5): Best services ever - I’ve been staying in this hotel for two weeks at a time since August. They have been very accommodating with our group of guys. There are a lot of us so we gave a lot of requests and they were always prompt with their accommodations. Best service of ever gotten in a hotel that wasn’t a five star. If we ever come back here I definitely want to stay here. It feels like one big family.

It was a special trip for my wife and myself. Although the double beds did work for us it was a disappointment knowing that what I reserved through the hotels site isn’t a guarantee. The front desk told me that there was nothing he could do since I booked through Hotels.com.

Also my room was filthy ! Dirty cloths and towels ! Never staying again new management is needed for sure !

Many food choices in the area. Breakfast was typical Hampton breakfast. Hotel was clean despite heavy use by oilfield workers.

When I lost my car key, the desk clerk immediately called housekeeping to check the halls and the grounds keeper to scour the parking lot and lawn areas. She could have just shook her head "no, they weren't turned in" - they were later found where I'd dropped them in my client's car but I was grateful for the staff's consideration!

Complimentary food every evening with refreshing drinks. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and need a place to rest.

• RoberT (8/5): Good Place to stay in Cotula - The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was just a bit below the usual Hampton Inn standard, but not by much. I am a loyal Hampton Inn user, and found this hotel slightly below the usual standard, but only by a bit.

It would also be nice if the breakfast was served a little bit earlier than 6:00 for those of us that had to get going before that time. All in all it was a nice hotel and not an unpleasant stay.

Went to my room and unpacked everything before taking a shower, and there was a used soap in the soap dish and another one in the shower, two used wash clothes in the shower, and a used shampoo in the shower. Also two plastic bags on the couch.

• Michele (8/5): Good choice for Stay in Cotulla - We were in town for graduation celebrations. Rooms are simple, but clean and comfortable. Nice comforter on the beds. Overall hotel in good shape. Breakfast was limited and the standard "free breakfast" you are offered in most hotels at this rate. Towels are small and thin but did the job. Hotel was quiet and air conditioner worked well. We would stay here again.
