• Double Room with Temazcal Experience and Pool View

  Decorated in light colors, this room features air conditioning, a furnished balcony and a flat-screen cable TV. The private bathroom has a hairdryer. Complimentary coffee service is available and ironing facilities are provided on request. The Temazcal treatment is carried out in a rustic mud hut, where guests are covered in mud in order to receive the energy the shaman (a Mayan priest) transmits through incense and other ancestral techniques. After finishing the ceremony, the mud is washed off with clean water, which represents the rebirth of the participant with a new internal harmony. The ceremony is carried out Monday through Sunday at 09:00 and 17:00.

• PASCAL (9/5): Établissement situé dans un parc, au calme. Restaurant bon rapport qualité prix. - Calme, établissement situé dans un parc. Grande piscine très spacieuse. Le restaurant est convenable. Salade russe et les spaghettis à la carbonara servis copieusement. On peut aller au site archéologique à pied mais à un moment il y a une coulée de boue donc reprendre la route goudronnée. Peut-être pour ceux qui sont abonné à Netflix, il n'y a pas de connexion. Pas de chaînes françaises. Mais ce n'est pas très important pour moi.

• laetitia (8/5): - Proximité du site, piscine, personnel sympathique Même s'il reste à côté du site et rien à éprouver à l'hôtel en lui même, il reste sans âme et je trouve qu'il est préférable de dormir à Santa Elena car ici nous sommes loin de tout et du coup manger au restaurant de l'hôtel coûte cher

La piscina, el jardín, las vistas desde la habitación, también hay una pequeña terraza donde puedes ver a lo lejos edificios de la zona arqueológico de Uxmal en el piso superior Que no todas las habitaciones tienen nevera, te ofrecen rentar una por días. • Kirsten (7/5): Prima voor 1 nacht, maar geen superhotel - Goede locatie om ‘s middags aan te komen na het bekijken van sites langs de Ruta Puuc en de volgende ochtend direct om 8u Uxmal te kunnen bekijken. Zwembad vonden de kinderen een pluspunt Geen koelkastje op de kamer, handdoeken erg versleten. Ontbijt was geen buffet maar kon je kiezen van de kaart. Helaas waren de hotcakes en wafels niet beschikbaar, bleek toen we die gekozen hadden omdat de ober ze noemde.
• Mailys (7/5): - C'était mieux que nous pensions, au vu des derniers commentaires. L'hôtel est vieux mais pas décrêpi non plus. La chambre est spacieuse et plutôt bien équipée, avec une douche et une clim fonctionnelles, ainsi qu'une machine à café. Nous avons apprécié la piscine. Le restaurant n'est pas terrible. De plus, au moment du paiement par carte, le personnel a fait mine que le terminal ne marchait pas bien, en essayant de passer plusieurs fois notre carte sans nous montrer l'écran. Ils essayaient en fait d'ajouter un pourboire de 15% sans notre validation. Le wifi était vraiment très mauvais (ne marchait qu'à la réception), le pire qu'on ait eu durant tout notre séjour au Mexique. Heureusement on captait le réseau téléphonique/4G.

• José Luis (8/5): Buen alojamiento calidad-precio si deseas visitar las zonas arqueológicas de la zona 8/10 - La vista de las habitaciones a la Zona Arqueológica de Uxmal bastante bonita, la piscina super bonita, limpia y grande ideal para quitarte el calor de la zona, el restaurante también super bien, el personal super atento, se encuentra muy cerca de la Zona Arqueológica de Uxmal, considero que es un punto crucial para conocer las demás zonas arqueológicas de la zona. No me gusto que dentro del cuarto, debajo de la cama y en el balcón había mucho polvo, no sé si tenían la ventana abierta antes de que llegará yo, pero si me encontré con mucho polvo e insectos muertos eso fue lo que no me gustó

• eric (5/5): - Proche du site archéologique. Grande chambre avec une belle vue La chambre 208 a besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement. Robinetterie à changer. Insonorisation des chambres. Prises dans le mur qui ne tiennent pas, rideau avec des trous, piscine à nettoyer. Un bon potentiel mais un manque de maintenance évident. Pourquoi donner des lits de 1,2m séparés?

The pool and lounge area is fantastic and it is convenient to have a restaurant in the basement of the hotel. I think the hotel is good value for the money. Unfortunately, during our stay a thunderstorm caused a power outage in the area. This outage lasted about 24 hours and meant no A/C, no lights, and no running water. Obviously, the outage is beyond the hotel's control and this happens in Mexico. However, the hotel could have had backup generators (which the other big hotels in Uxmal have). The hotel also could have provided flashlights for the dark rooms, could have brought up more water for flushing toilets or brushing teeth, or even just provided some coupons for the restaurant or discount on the stay. Ultimately, I don't think the hotel particularly cared about the guest experience during this 24 hour period and my review rating reflects that.

• julien (7/5): - Très pratique pour aller visiter uxmal sinon pas vraiment d’intérêt. L’hôtel était quasi vide. Nous étions sur la fin de la saison je pense. Nous avons pu profiter seul de la piscine. On sent que l’hôtel commence à avoir de l’âge mais le rapport qualité prix est intéressant. On ne peut pas tout avoir. Petit déjeuner copieux. Roof top avec vu sur une partie du site uxmal. Nous recommandons pour une nuit.

Personal war freundlich. Wir hätten verzichten können auf ziemlich große Kakerlaken, eine Reisebusgruppe, Frühstück, Bett war unbequem, Sauberkeit könnte besser sein

• Grisel (7/5): Good hotel, needs some updates - The location ist great when visiting uxmal, you can have a nice day at the pool Not many options for going somewhere to eat and the restaurant was ok. Lots of stairs for someone who had leg pain. Not so easy to walk always up. And down. The air conditioning and tv where a little out dated.

Etablissement vieillissant, dommage car il était certainement au top il y a quelques années. Un petit rafraichissement rendrait cet hôtel exceptionnel. Pas de restaurants aux alentours proches le soir, dommage.
• Luis (9/5): Un 8.5 de 10 - Las instalaciones en general está bien, el restaurante muy bien y muy rico, la piscina algo fría pero se miraba bien, la habitación que nos tocó pondría un 8 de 10. El bañó de la habitación, el WC ya algo viejo. No hay WiFi en lo general y mucho menos en las habitaciones. Si es que tienen grupos (de extranjeros o en general) les dan preferencia a ellos, solo hay que tener paciencia para que te atiendan.

• Yuriy T (6/5): - Nice bed, views of ruins, attractive outdoor space, ac was strong, shower was hot with good pressure, room was large and had a balcony, restaurant food was good and servers were nice. I was told the room I booked and paid in full on booking was not available. At that same moment 2 more of the same rooms were being advertised on booking as available. I was forced to pay $300 extra for an "upgrade" in order to stay at the hotel. The ceiling had a huge obvious unfixed leak and water dripped above the toilet constantly.
• Tamara (6/5): Ausreichend für eine Nacht - Die Lage des Hotels ist top, man könnte zu Fuß zu den Pyramiden von uxmal gehen. Wir sind spät am Abend angekommen und das Pool hatte noch offen, bei den Temperaturen sehr angenehm. Es gibt einen eigenen Parkplatz, da das Hotel sich gut für Rundreisen eignet. Die Unterkunft ist nicht sauber, das Waschbecken war garnicht gereinigt, bei Nachfrage wurde es aber sofort gereinigt. WLAN gibt es nur in der Lobby. Die Klimaanlage ist extrem alt und laut, wir konnten kaum schlafen. Beim inkludierten Frühstück gibt es kein Buffet, man kann mehr zahlen oder einfach ein amerikanisches Frühstück nehmen. Das Hotel ist ausreichend für eine Nacht als Stopp, aber länger sollte man dort nicht bleiben

Nepohodlné postele. Wifi nefungovala. Bylo nutno se přilojit pouze v lobby. Personál byl velmi ochotný. Slečna recepční byla nápomocná. Lokalita úžasná. Výhoda hotelu je skvělá lokalika a klid.

• Robert (4/5): Nice hotel, bad business - The room was spacious, the AC worked well, and the balcony provided a view over the region (because the area is so flat you could see the tops of the Uxmal ruins and miles beyond). The food at the restaurant was very good and the staff were very professional and kind. The reception would not accept our booking and required us to pay for an upgraded room in order to check in. There are very few hotels in this area so we had no choice but to pay.

• Pat (7/5): Great staff! - The staff. Ricardo, at the reception was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and easy to speak with. Many staff people were busy doing repairs to things. The people who seemed responsible for the pool were attentive to cleaning the pool. The staff persons were very good. It is the infrastructure of the hotel that needs upgrading in a serious way. Elevator and wifi for sure. Hot water would be nice! No elevator, wifi barely worked, no hot water, air conditioning was not strong. These are important factors. We also had to pay an additional $600. Mx. For a room that had a coffee pot and mini fridge which we thought was included. Booking.com has given us a credit.

• Emmanuel (2/5): À fuir - L emplacement proche du site archéologique de Uxmal, et le petit déjeuner pas trop mal !!! La chambre n était pas propre, il y avait des petites bêtes mortes à l entrée de la chambre, la salle de bain pas entretenue. Il y a une belle terrasse mais pas de chaises pour s asseoir. Une climatisation ultra bruyante, pas de frigo!!! Le personnel pas très accueillant à notre arrivée, ni à notre départ d ailleurs. Et que dire du restaurant pour le dîner, vraiment pas bon !!! Ah oui, et pas non plus de Wifi dans les chambres, uniquement a l accueil.Ce n est pas dans nos habitudes d être si négatif, mais ça ne mérite vraiment pas 4 étoiles.
• Laurence (7/5): - La piscine Les robinets du lavabo n'étaient pas fixés. L'eau de la douche n'était pas chaude. Manque d'entretien. Personnel pas très agréable. Impossible de changer les cafés par du chocolat chaud ou du thé.

• kevin (8/5): - Etablissement vieillissant mais très bon rapport qualité prix. chambre très spacieuse avec grand balcon et piscine très agréable. Le point fort est la situation géographique pour visiter Uxmal
• Magalie (7/5): - Belle piscine et beaux extérieurs. Chambre spacieuse. Terrasse et accès au toit pour voir la vue. Accès à pied en 30 min au site d Uxmal via un sentier qui finit sur la route (pas de souci de sécurité). Restaurant dans l hôtel appréciable car pas grand chose autour. Hôtel vieillissant. Terrasse de la chambre sans aucune chaise ni table, c est dommage! Restaurant en intérieur uniquement, dommage de ne pas profiter de l extérieur.
• LAURIE (8/5): comfortable place to stay. - It was built as a resort hotel/facility near the Uxmal archeological park. There is really no other reason people come here. Tour bus groups seemed to be the main clients. We did not use the pool or any of the spa facilities. The grounds are beautiful and made this birdwatcher quite happy. Restaurant was good as were the margaritas. NO ELEVATOR Staff was available to help move bags.

• Møller (7/5): - Beliggenheden var god til at se ruinerne ved Uxmal. Der var rent og der var aircondition på værelset. Poolområdet var lækkert efter en varm dag. Wi Fi forbindelsen kunne ikke nå vores værelse. Der var ikke nogen møbler eller noget at sidde på, på altanen. Vores toilet begyndte at løbe efter første brug. Der kan være mange turistbusser overnattende på hotellet, hvilket kan give mange gæster og meget støj i spiseområdet.

• akvarellcenter (7/5): - Läget är bra. Personalen var väldigt. Det var bara en stol på rummet. Ingenting på balkongen. De flesta eluttag fungerade inte. Buller på natten som väckte mig flera gånger på natten. Dålig mat på restaurangen. Jag skulle aldrig återvända dit.
• John (7/5): Nice place to stay if you have a car and want to tour Uxmal. - Great view. We also enjoyed the quietness of the place. Breakfast might have been included with the price. I thought it was but when I arrived I was told that because of what I paid breakfast would not be included.

• Steffen Amdi (10/5): - Okay morgenmad, restaurant med veltilberedt mad til fornuftige priser. Dejlig swimmingpool, der blev holdt rent, både og omkring poolen. Stort dejligt værelse med en lille terrasse. Vi bestilte en ekstra overnatning.

• Vireo (9/5): Beautiful location nestled in the jungle with Uxmal nearby. I can't wait to go back and enjoy again - Loved the beauty of the space. The view from the pool and from the rooftop of the jungle. Being able to walk to Uxmal Mayan archeological site. VERY friendly & helpful staff. The beds were way too small. 2 beds are only ok for 2 people. Misleading when they said we could fit 3 people in room with 2 beds. Beds were slightly bigger than a single bed. Definitely 2 beds NOT suitable for more than 2 people. Also the couples who had a room - said that had to sleep in 2 separate beds because the bed was too small. ONLY a king or king sized bed would be ok for a couple and for sharing. BE clearer on size of beds for #s of people in each room. We had to get an extra room as 3 women definitely couldn't share 1 room with 2 small beds so it cost us extra as a group.
