The room was generally fine, staff was nice. I probably had a bad luck the night I stayed but I did not get much sleep for a few reasons generally all pointing to desperate need for a soundproof door to the room - unfortunately there is a slot below the room door so all noises from the corridor are 100% audible :-(. What I do not understand is why the staff was trying to wake up guests in one room on the same floor by knocking on the door loudly and shouting at the guests over the door for several minutes when the usual procedure when guests need an early wake up call is to call the phone in their room. The staff trying to wake up the guests generaly woke all the foor in the middle of the night - also people from other room were unhappy and called to the staff to stop being noisy not to wake their children. And unfortunately, once the nearly unwakable guests left their room a while after this noisy situation they rudely did not pay any atention that people on the same floor were trying to fall asleep again and were talking in the corridor as laud as one can - this one is not about the hotel but the guests - a bit of respect to others would be appreciated... And other big group of guest checking in late in the night walking up the stairs as well as some other guests leaving early in the morning woke me up several times and I could not fall asleep again and felt very tired the day after :-(.

La chambre familiale divisée en deux, avec une même entrée, même salle de bain, mais chambres séparées. Emplacement idéal pour les ferrys. La taille de la douche, minuscule, avec un rideau en semi-tissu qui colle à la peau. Mais pour une nuit, de passage, on passe au dessus vus tous les points positifs.

Οι μετακινήσεις είναι εύκολες, είτε με τα πόδια είτε με μέσα.Προσωπικο εξαιρετικό και ευχάριστο! Δυστυχώς, εκεί σταματούν τα θετικά. Το ξενοδοχείο χρειάζεται σοβαρή αναβάθμιση σε όλους τους εσωτερικούς χώρους. Το δωμάτιο είναι ξεπερασμένο, με παροχές που θυμίζουν άλλη εποχή. Ενδεικτικό: η τηλεόραση ήταν σχεδον σαν σελίδα Α4 με πεσμένη Φωτεινότητα– αδύνατον να δεις κάτι άνετα.Στο μπάνιο 3 μπουκαλάκια shower gel μόνο!+2 σαπουνάκια Το χειρότερο, όμως, ήταν η ηχομόνωση. Από τις 7 το πρωί άκουγα καθαρά το καροτσάκι της καθαριότητας να περνάει έξω από την πόρτα μου – σαν να ήταν μέσα στο δωμάτιο. Ξεκούραστος ύπνος μετά από ταξίδι; Ξεχάστε το. Συνοψίζοντας: μόνο για μια νύχτα, αν έχετε ανάγκη το λιμάνι και δεν σας πειράζει η ηχορύπανση.

• Janice (9/5): The Triton Hotel is a great value for those needing a place to stay before catching the ferry - We chose the Triton Hotel for its proximity to the port and good ratings. We were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our lovely room. Everything is spotless throughout the hotel and we enjoyed the old world elegance of its decor. While the port area is rough in parts, the Triton is a cornerstone in an updated area. There a choice of dining across the square which we found very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Our walk to the ferry port was only five minutes. We appreciated everything about the hotel.
