• Wayne (10/5): Great location and value for money - Great location with amazing views. The staff were friendly. The unit was clean and tidy and had ample space for a family of 4.
• Nicolani (10/5): - Amazing view of the ocean and the location is perfect. Didn’t use our car the whole stay as everything was in walking distance and public transport was close as well. The unit is very cozy and the perfect size. the staff was also very kind and helpful.

• Renee (6/5): - It was dirty and outdated. The lawns and bbq area were in need of attention. The room was in need of a good clean especially under the beds, draws (we found a random pair of undies and socks), and the dryer filter looked as though it had never been cleaned. However the location couldn't have been better, and the heated pool was great.
• Vanessa (6/5): - Could not use the Tv as seemed disabled . Water for the toilet was turn off when we got there. Overall stay was average . View was the best thing.

TV antenna needs to be fixed coming apart at the back could only watch channel 10 with out interference. There was no one at the front desk to discuss any problems. The entire unit just needs a good clean. Don’t think we would book here again.
• Carolyn (4/5): - No one on the desk when we arrived. Room not ready. Had to wait for other guest's to return for their luggage so ours could go into the storage/ cleaning cupboard. Our apartment was very run down. Appliances and furniture were old and mismatched. Water stains in ceiling from leaks. Location was great and we had a fabulous view.. however we would not go back.
• David (10/5): - We were able to check in early and they helped us with our baggage at the end of the stay enabling us to explore and experience the Gold Coast even more. Staying in a two-bedroom apartment meant we had terrific uninterrupted views of the beach and experienced amazing sunrises every morning. The apartment came stocked with all the essentials to stay for over a week, including its own washing machine and dryer as well as the kitchen having a full-size fridge/freezer.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The unit was huge, spectacular views up and down the beach. Was there two nights, in 5 attempts didn’t catch reception open once. A bit of a shame because with such a spectacular venue, a little bit of customer service would have been nice. Couldn’t find remote for aircon, couldn’t get anyone to help me so couldn’t cool down.
• Anonymous (4/5): - The rooms were big and had a nice view of the beach but the shower sprayed water everywhere, we had to fix it to beable to shower. There were dirty dishes and cutlery in the draws and the worse part was a poo smear on the toilet wall. Reception closed early so we had trouble getting into the building and we could fit into the carpark. After numerous calls i was told we aren't on site so park on the road or wherever you can find a spot.
• Derek (6/5): - The unit was spacious, fantastic views and in a great location central to everything, however the appartment was dirty, the fridge was disgusting, the cutlery, bowls and plates were filthy.The bed linen in my daughters room had a stain. This was a real shame and really let the apartment down. We would not stay again which is disappointing, as this would be a great place if cleaned properly

• Beryl (6/5): Adequate but basic accommodation - Good central Surfers location, friendly staff, apartment drab and dated with assorted issues - TV aerial lead and connection to TV broken but given a temporary fix by manager, electronic door was faulty and kept locking us out, telephone wouldn’t work to contact manager, no apartment instruction manual on what to do when problems arise, no evacuation procedures on the back of the door, air-con remote was missing but quickly replaced, no blanket on bed but a horrible old and shabby one was in the wardrobe, no air-con in the bedroom only in the lounge/kitchen. General surfaces were “serviced clean” but whole apartment needs a through clean - especially the shower recess. Adequate but basic accommodation.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Classic sea view from 20th floor, very clean , secured and safe , great location at main beach. Good quality free wifi at all times. But not happy with amenities, very old stuffs , like old showers , wash basins with no mixers and old bathrooms and kitchenette. No premiere cable tv channels like no major sports , entertainment's, movies or netflix etc , we missed world cup cricket matches for three days. Just they have free view like free channel 9's Pricing not that cheap either when compared with other new apartments and hotels near by.

Bathroom had not been cleaned in a long time . Urine stains on the sheets and mattress. The staff were great in issuing a refund.

• Bec (2/5): - The room was messy, wet dishes, sand all over the lounge. Later that night the air conditioner above our bed leaked and there was water all over the bed. We woke up to dripping water on our pillows. We notified reception in the morning and the maintenance man said he told reception about the leaky aircon. We were then told not to use it and open a window except the room had no windows. It only had a sliding door in the lounge. The lady in reception when we checked out was so rude and barely acknowledged us, she grabbed the keys and walked away in a big huff. Terrible customer service from her. The only good think about this unit was the view and the maintenance man who turned the fc the aircon he had better customer service than reception, not impressed

The rooms are serviced on a weekly basis, but we asked for clean towels and got them. Pool and spa were lovely and refreshing after swimming at the beach.

Our initial room was 901, but it was in such dire need of a renovation or explosion that my wife complained and they moved us to 1905, which was much better but still dated. This property needs a lot of work to bring it up to modern standards vs its’ 1960’s original conditions.

Cupboards, draws and walls were filthy but bedding and bathroom was clean. The only positive was that staff were lovely, apartment was very spacious and location was great with great view.

However there was NO housekeeping at all, stayed there for 6 nights, and no one came to clean or check the room, had to go to the reception to ask for towels etc. Even had to throw out our own rubbish from the bins or cleaning charges would have been applied..

The pool, lawn and barbecue area were well maintained and a wonderful spot to sit and swim at.. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only issue was the apartment was a little outdated and needed a few furniture and fitting repairs.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Tired and old but close to everything - This property is close to beach, restaurants, bars etc and Cavill Ave. Tired and old and a bit musty. I wouldn't return simply because it's old and the rooms are very tired and old. The shower is in terrible condition and it's almost impossible to open the doors to the balcony. One musty dirty blanket in the cupboard that I wouldn't even have touched let alone put on the bed.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Don’t stey - Best part of the property was the view. The bathrooms were very dated. Taps fell off in your hand. Cups in cupboard were dirty. Lounge chairs were so old you sank in them and couldn’t get out. The bed was very uncomfortable.

• Verified traveler (6/5): No frills near beach - The reception staff and location are about the only notable features of this property. Sadly the unit is quite dated and due for a refresh. That said, if you are on a budget, it’s probably going to be ok. Another note, if you book through Wotif, the unit may not be the same as the pictures in the advertisement depicts.

However, from the first arrival, we have to keep asking for stuff such as car parking, phone not working, doors are not working properly and the security person is almost run us over by his car as he rushing to go somewhere in the building and no manners at all. Overall. Its hard for me to recommend this place to my friends.
• Mark (8/5): Good for the price - If you are looking for a reasonably priced property with great views you can’t go past this place. Mgt extremely friendly and helpful bedroom could do with a renovation, bed comfortable wardrobe is chipboard and just breaking down a bit with age. All functional though. Kitchen great, bathroom good but shower screen and general condition could be cleaner. Nothing major just old and tired. Again for the price location and views it was excellent value for money.

• Lol (6/5): good location - close to glink light rail so ease of access to other areas of Gold Coast. Unfortunately we did not know a crane would be operating on another property site on Saturday morning which was near our balcony view and very audible.
• Noelene (10/5): - After having the hic-cup with the TV's fixed we went on to have a great time. A bright and well equipped unit overlooking the beach, good views of surrounding area. Minutes to Cavill Avenue, the beach and choice of dining available to suit all tastes. Very pleasant and helpful staff.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - We arrived to the office being closed had to wait for someone to let us in. Our room was not wat was in the pictures AT ALL. We had no hot water for our showers. Terrible room for the money on the plus we cld see the beach.

There was still food splashes on the backsplash of the oven/stove. There are signs up for us to wash up when we leave but there was no dish liquid available to do so. There was sign up also for us to take out rubbish out with us but on our landing there was toilet paper left there. The view was marred by construction site.

• Lee (10/5): Beauriful apartment with even better views - Great location with easy access to shops, beach and public transport. Views were amazing and the apartment was beautiful. Jackie at the front desk was fantastic, so friendly and helped us with many things including changing dates, printing etc. Car park8ng was a breeze and everything about this place was great.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Close to the beach - Good for families with little children as it is close to the beach and there is lots of space in the unit. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the construction outside the window started rather early for one on holiday! The huge crane also obscured the view. The noise from the entertainment on the beach concluded at 11.00pm each night - but it was the Commonwealth Games so am presuming it was a one off.
• Bipin (10/5): Amazing experience - Amazing view of the beach from the room that we stayed in. I had specially requested such room. This hotel also has nice facilities like swimming pool, spa, gym and sauna. I had an awesome time staying here. Staffs were also very friendly.

• Verified traveler (4/5): Location great everything else terrible - Very disappointed! Apartment was old needs modernising. Furniture was broken. Aircon didn't work. Room was not cleaned. Construction site next door couldn't sleep. Only good thing was location.

• Roc (4/5): Attention to detail - The refrigerator and cloth drier did not work and had to be replaced...begrudgingly by owner/manager . The new replacement refrigerator had the door on the wrong side. The blinds, lamp shades,internal louvers and ceiling fans were completely covered with dirt and layers of dust. metal attachments in bath rooms were rusty and old Generally old and rundown but promotional pictures on the internet were not true reflection of the apartment. The apartment was very noisy and all windows and doors needed to be closed to sleep,which made the rooms stuffy and hot. A defunct air conditioner was attached but wasn't operational. Management blamed everybody (including former quests) for the problems...except themselves, no one ever said sorry what can we do to help!. Very expensive over priced accommodation for what we got.
• Rob (6/5): Nice Hotel, Great Location, Average Room - While we didn't stay long, it was a nice place to stay with a great pool and close access to the beach. The room was a little plain and a little in need of some upkeep. One of the recliner chairs was broken, there was no DVD player or Pay TV and while in no way dirty the room felt kind of bare. Understandably in a location like the Gold Coast where there is a lot of vandalism and theft in hotel rooms it would be hard to continually replace and repair items, but it makes it harder to recommend to others or to plan a return stay in future. Also while not the fault of the unit owners, construction next door was loud and distracting.
• Pickle (10/5): great location lovely staff - Stayed here for a week as a couple and was very happy with the location and the apartment. The staff were lovely and went out of their way to allow us to stay in the room after checkout due to a late flight. The only downside is that there is a another hotel being built in front of this hotel and the construction started at 6am every morning it was very annoying, but out of the hotels hands. We were on level 7 and the view of the beach was great. Overall the experience was a positive one we would definitely stay here again.
• jackie (4/5): It’s an okay hotel - The room’s cleanliness was appalling . It was a great view if it didn’t have the construction view. The gym and sauna stinks . Other wise all over the location of the hotel makes it a great choice .

• laura (8/5): perfect location and view - overall experience was great, expect when we walked into our apartment and had 2 workers in there without anyone warning us they would be there. we left valuables in the room and were not happy to walk in and see 2 men standing in our room. other then that was great.

• Dave (2/5): Horrible - We arrived on a late flight. The room was atrocious. Nothing like the description or the photos. No Air-con, construction directly outside our window, stinking blankets, stains, party underneath us until 4am. It was disgusting. I could go on and on. But I couldn’t describe just how bad this room was! To the managers credit she was completely sympathetic. Explaining that the units are all individually owned and vary on their condition and set up. She offered us another room which to be honest if we’d received from the start we would have been happy. But the room we got to as horrendous. Unfortunately this experience would mean I would never go back
