• Derek (6/5): Stay was ok apart from the room The room was not good enough to be a double room - Location was good staff were pleasant had parking breakfast Wes very good. Had to walk up three flights of very steep stairs the room was up in the loft and so very small that the bathroom sink was in the room not the bathroom and there was no clothes hanging facilities or seating but for a stool behind the bathroom door.
• Kevin (9/5): Great hotel but not suited to some disabilities - Room and food Never had the opportunuty to explore ground floor or a lift, i was looking fora last minnute booking and found l had to tackle a large staircase. Once up we couldnt go down again until morning {disabled following amputation surgery. As food is not allowed in the room we were left with no eating option until the following morning - felt a bit like a prisoner

• Martin (10/5): - Room was very clean tidy and modern. The pub is very dog friendly the breakfast was excellent. The highlight however are the staff all of them were extremely welcoming especially the gentleman who sorted breakfast. £20 for a dog is reasonably standard but lots of places make a little effort to justify the charge. There was nothing here.

• Gareth (7/5): Great location in centre of Minehead, comfortable stay and friendly staff. - Staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was comfortable and quiet; cooked breakfast was nice and dinner exceptionally tasty (and good value). Central location in Minehead, just a couple of minutes' walk to shops, pubs/restaurants, station and the sea. Couldn't work out the wi-fi ... the free service seemed to be without passwords and my device suggested not using it for security reasons: couldn't find an obvious password in the room for the secured wi-fi. TV control didn't have batteries and the ones offered at reception turned out to be flat. Sure we could have asked again, but instead we sourced our own replacements.

• Julia (8/5): Very good for the price. Would definitely stay there again. - Comfortable, good location, quiet room. Very generous breakfast included in the price. The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Bit of a ‘drainage’ smell in the room. Windows were awkward to open.

• Alessio (9/5): Minehead - Albergo a pochi passi dalla spiaggia e sulla via principale. Ristorante di ottima qualità. Colazione servita al tavolo ma prevede anche un bel buffet. L'hotel ha anche un'area di parcheggio gratuita. Le camere sono spaziose. L'accesso alle camere è in parte condiviso col pub e quindi ad alcuni potrebbe non piacere.

• Jana (9/5): Great short break - It was located close to the seafront. Also there were many restaurants and shops nearby. Our room had a little side room with bunkbeds to give the kids a bit of privacy while still being part our room. Breakfast was tasty, with selection of either a traditional English or with somewhat continental options. It had a pool table and darts at the bar area for an evening entertainment. Lack of leaflets with tourists information about the area. There could be an offer of cheese and ham to accompany the continental breakfast. The double bed in our bedroom was a small double.

• Peter (8/5): Decent clean hotel in a great location - The hotel is located right on the main drag on the upper floors of a hotel. Parking is provided next to the hotel for free. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and allowed into our room well ahead of time. The room was quiet despite the central location and the shower was excellent. The room like a lot of hotels like this was a little dated. The bed was quite small and not that comfortable. The towels could also do with a refresh.

I had a smell coming from my bathroom (room 21) but my friends in other rooms were perfect. Only spotted two pillows which were very thin when used, could of done with a couple more but I didnt check if more were already in the room.

• Nyx (10/5): Excellent - Perfect. The hosts, Charlie and her partner the manager checked that we had everything we needed and more. All the staff were super friendly. The room was lovely and clean, comfy and quiet. Great location for exploring the area as we were doing a lot of walking and we tried out a brand new Indian Restaurant to boot. Highly recommend for food, comfort, location and customer service. ;) Nothing

• Michael (9/5): Visiting Minehead! Stay here fully recommended - The staff was amazing, the barman was charming and fun. Nice size room Great breakfast selection The location is spot on for the seafront and high street. Sister pub a short walk was great too Happy hour drinks mon-fri so if you like a tipple it's perfect and cheap. Darts and pool table x A smoker was caught in the room before us, slight smell but no fault of the staff at all. Very hot room, couldn't turn the heating down but luckily it went off at closing time. Open window solved it, not enough to bother the staff. 2 of my favourite happy hour beers was not available. Also kitchen was closed, but it's out of season so not huge deal breaker.

Bedroom was light, modern, airy, super clean and en-suite had the best shower! Polite, caring staff and amazing breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. As with older buildings it had steep.stairs but not an issue.

A very good breakfast with a great choice of items. Bar was good too ! It would be petty to identify anything minor !
