• Makenna (7/5): Our other vacation plans fell through last minute and despite being last minute we were able to book Islander Motel and - I liked the location and how a lot of things were in walking distance, especially the beach. Check in and check out were super easy. I liked sitting on the balcony at night and watching the city life. I didn’t like how loud the AC unit was, couldn’t hear the TV or a phone call. But it did drown out neighbor noise late at night! I didn’t like how there was a door connecting to the other rooms on both sides.

• Todd (10/5): It was a pleasant stay. - The price was right. We just needed a clean bed and shower for the night. The staff was friendly. We didn't have any issues. I would prefer free parking but since the rooms are not expensive it didn't make that much of a difference.

There was no rug when you enter the room. So the floor was constantly right. I went or had to make towls wet and the fact that the TV did not turn to face the beds, it was purely stuck on the wall. Several flies were in the room, the floor left our bare feet black and there were hairs in the bathroom. We left halfway through our stay when we saw a small bug crawling on our of our headboards. We are not sure if it was a bed bug, tick, or flea but we didn't care to find out.

Staff really friendly hot water in the shower, cold ac 🥶 Room are very dirty, not enough lights inside of the room, stand on sheets, 😞 Had to move 3 times because of things really not working properly, rate was really good, Ac broke in the middle of the night and had to relocate to another room just need a sit of updates.

What I did not like was two days before our stay we got an email from the Islander informing us that they had on site parking but if I wanted to park in their parking lot, they wanted to charge me $10.47 a day if I would’ve known that when booking, I would’ve took that into consideration and would not have booked there, I would’ve booked somewhere where my parking was included in the price of my room I was very disappointed that they told me that two days before

I actually picked up some of the trash. The toilet didn't flush properly almost every single time Not enough soap for the shower and no shampoo Paying $10 a night for parking Being charged $200.00 for non smoking, which we don't and I except a full refund. I also except a refund of $100.00 0 security deposit as we left the room in perfect condition

Nothing was clean, there was hair all over the beds. The room was barley big enough to walk around the bed.No TV service provided.

• Faith (1/5): This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. - It was horrible There’s nothing to like about this place It had mold, the first staff I had was kindve rude and when I asked to leave do to health issues bc of the mold and get refunded they made it really complicated but they said they’d refund me finally. Her manager called and told her to refund me it all. UPDATE: it’s been a month since my visit I have yet to receive my refund even though Kim the manager said I would. I would not go here if I was you! There was mold everywhere even in the air conditioner. The bed had stains there was stuff stashed around the room from past visitors. The staff was horrible. I called the cops and they said it was common and didn’t do anything. If it’s common for a place to be a health risk then why is no one doing anything about it. I could’ve died from breathing in that black mold and so could my little brother. I have severe asthma and instantly was throwing up and needed my inhaler from that room the smell was so strong. And they still won’t refund me. I didn’t even stay in the hotel. I stayed in my car. And eventually tried to find an air bnb. This hotel advertised free parking and did not tell you that they make you pay 100 dollars for incident plus 10 for parking everyday

Ants in bathroom, no toilet paper didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Fridge leaked. No one in office @ 8:30 for check out to inform them of fridge.

The floors were dirty the sheets had stains on them the mattress cover had mold on it. The sink in the bathroom ran constantly we had to shut the water off to it. The toilets wouldn't flush. The outlets didn't work. They charged us $100.00 on a credit card instead of just a hold. The employees couldn't answer any questions they said it was their first day. We stay in Ocean City a few times a year and never experienced a hotel this bad!

• Sanders (1/5): Don't fall for the fake pictures - The location was convenient for what I needed. The staff was less than helpful. There was an extra charge to park in the parking lot. The room was smelly as soon as you open the door. The walls were cement blocks. The beds were really high. There was mold on the walls and the lamp and the trim of everything. The beds were hard. The bathroom was dirty and gross. The soap was horrible. The curtains didn't cover the whole window.

• Brian (8/5): - Staff was friendly and accommodating. The nice lady at the desk was able to get me checked in early. Very good location, 1 min walk to fish Tales. Mini golf next door. Room was clean. Price was very good relative to hotels in the same area. It's a little unusual that parking wasn't included in the room price. Overall the price was still very fair. Some may think the rooms could use some minor cosmetic work, I am not bothered by a couple scuffs on the wall.

Nothing worked in room on arrival including tv , internet , broken , dirty , no phone , went to office no maintenance, moved rooms in middle of night and same issues in new room which was a hair nicer , and still nothing resolved for entire stay and emails to main customer support for refunds and money back due to fraudulent services as they did not have housekeeping or laundering or towels even when asked , and never fixed anything . We had.m no tv or wi fi entire stay which they say they offer in rate as do with trash removal etc and towels. No enforcement in parking as no spots for 3 days and took photos of people with no signs and paid parking yet I paid and would not refund and had no parking plus got a ticket there when had plackard in view . No sense or care of right or wrong , customer service , falsely advertise, and very expensive !!! Do not recommend As above

This was a nightmare it took me 1:30 to be able to fix this problem So she could change me to another room I had to record how the bathroom was I even told her how can you rent a room with a door bad she said I knew it bad but not that bad after I show her the video she change me but it was very upsetting I had my son with me and he was not having a good time at all

• JustMeMay (5/5): Suitable for a quick visit to the beach just bring a pillow and expect to pay extra for parking - They fullfilled my request to be near pool I'd expected parking in the motel lot, which ended up being an additional cost. Also, we had difficulty with the TV working I could not use my complete stay, Had no way of reaching the front office, No PHONES in the room and any phone number I found online when trying to use my cell phone was out of order. Disappointing for sure

I had to pay for daily parking, they gave me a permit tag to hang in my car, then I could not find any spots at night, but I noticed some parked cars without a permit tag in the parking lot.
