They left us a complimentary bottle of wine and water. We were unaware that the location of the apartment was surrounded by bars, so it was quite loud throughout the night.

• Giovanni (9/5): - L'appartamento è localizzato al secondo piano senza ascensore in una zona centralissima con possibilità di raggiungere le principali attrazioni della città ed è molto fornito (accessori per la cucina, per lavare e stendere). Il proprietario è assolutamente disponibile e molto cortese. Letti molto grandi e discretamente comodi (anche il divano letto situato nella cucina). L'appartamento è molto esposto ai rumori esterni a causa di diversi locali che sono presenti nei dintorni. Se si ha il sonno leggero potrebbe essere un problema.
• Girish (10/5): Comfortable stay, great location - Location! Very central to everything. Line C2 and C1, the two mini buses that ply every now and then, can get you anywhere. Nothing specific to this apartment. A general gripe about walled cities like Florence, Dubrovnik, and others is the buildings are pretty old and there’s no chance of an elevator. So you are hauling your heavy suitcases all the way up two floors completely on your own.

Apartamento amplo, camas boas, calefação eficiente, tem maquina de lavar roupas e louças com produtos à disposição. Anfitriões muito gentis, com boa vontade em ajudar (conseguimos fazer o check-in mais cedo e deixar as malas no apartamento no dia do check out). Voltaríamos com certeza. Por estar no centro histórico, e muito bem localizado, há bastante bares e restaurantes na rua gerando barulho. O prédio é antigo, e como é de se esperar, não há elevadores. Mas isso não inviabiliza uma boa estadia.

• Felicia (9/5): Convenient location, friendly host but it can get noisy at night - Convenient location Good old fashion doors with no complications of codes to deal with Friendly host offered us a welcome bottle of wine, thank you! The location is right across from a pub which is very noisy until over midnight. Also a suggestion the apartment can use a mirror in each rooms, alleviate the congestion of sharing the big mirror in the morning when multiple people trying to get ready.

• Kerala (10/5): Great location, friendly host experience - Location is excellent, first and foremost. It is big enough for a family of 5, clean and comfortable. But the best aspect is the host. He was extremely helpful and communicative & he has someone meet you on site (who was also very helpful and kind). He left us with a delicious bottle of wine & local restaurant recommendations (the trattoria we went to was excellent!). But best of all, one of our group left something behind and he was willing to send it back to us. I highly recommend Windows on Florence & would definitely stay there again.

• Dian (10/5): A beautifully equipped apartment in the heart of Florence with superb location and wonderfully helpful hosts. - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Florence. The place is very well equipped with everything you might need, including a washing machine, dishwasher, toaster, and microwave, which made our stay even more comfortable. The location is superb — just a short walk to Santa Croce, the Duomo, and many other attractions, restaurants, and shops. Everything was within walking distance, which made exploring the city so easy. The owner, Massimiliano, and Orsolya, who welcomed us and handled the check-in, were extremely helpful. Orsolya was especially friendly and even arranged a taxi for us, which was very kind of her. Their warm hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone visiting Florence.

From the moment we were greeted by the owner and his assistant to help us added the property to all the way to the end of the stay we were in such good luck to stay here! To start, the building is located in the very centre of Florence on a quaint street away from the noise but literally minutes walk to all the attractions. The Appartment is very well equipped and we didn’t need to ask for anything extra because the owner thoughtfully provided alll the essentials and more including a complimentary wine which was so delicious. We were checked upon during our stay to ensure we didn’t need anything and we super appreciated that. Super kind staff and will definitely visit again and stay here. The Appartment is so charming too and it fit the 5 people that we were so comfortably. All was perfect!
• Ramiz Kongulov (6/5): - Proximity to the city As soon as we moved into the apartment, there was a very strong stench. The whole apartment smelled of sewage. I poured a washing mixture into the faucet and under the shower and left the water running for about 10 minutes, and left the windows open for an hour so that the smell went away. They need to fix the sewage system in the building, because a bad smell comes from there. The air conditioner also leaked when it was running

• Debby (10/5): We were that busy catching up with family we didn’t have time to enjoy Florence. It’s crazy with tou - We had enough space for 4 adults & a 6 year old. We were close to everything and we arrived early and check in was 2 hours later but there is Fitzgerald Irish pub next door and we sat there in aircon and had a few drinks it was great after all our travels and the dry heat We liked everything.

It was 5 of us adults and it was very comfortable the sofa bed was a proper comfortable bed There want’t much to dislike, the host was so approachable, he organised all our shopping As we had a late flight there was a small 15 euro charge for the shopping but this charged was from the staff who did the shopping for us. As we were vegetarian and wanted to have a choice to cook, so we asked the host to supply some more pots and pans, he happily delivered new pots the following day without hesitation. Nothing was too much for him The flat is in an ideal location 7 minute walking distance to the cathedral museums and main square This flat is not ideal for elderly people as flat is on second floor so two flight steps up and pub across the road can get noisy but this didn’t bother as we were so exhausted from all the walking we did There is a small shop downstairs to buy small groceries and big supermarket just s as few minutes walking. We recommend very much to stay in the city centre as you get the proper feel of city life. Also getting taxis is big problem in Florence and quite expensive eg a small journey is minimum 14 euros The train station is a 15 to 20 minute walk and we enjoyed this walking through all the little shops and restaurants.

Would come back in a heatbeat. Honestly it was all good. I saw many reviews that mentioned the noise from the bar but with closed windows it wasn’t a problem at all.

• Eaton (9/5): If looking for location and great hosts - look no more - Windows on Florence - While Windows on Florence is not the most luxurious place we considered, it makes up for all of that with the other features of the property. Massimiliano and Orsolya were amazing hosts and so accommodating to anything we needed and some flexibility on check in. The apartment was clean and had enough room for our 5 people, one on the sofa bed. The location is ideal and so easy to get around. We would stay there again for the positives for sure. Fitzpatrick's bar and restaurant around the corner does generate some noise when they are singing late at night, but it was not horrible.

The apartment is in a historic building that has been restored while preserving its original charm. Communication with the owner, Maximilian, was great, and Orsolya reached out in advance with all the arrival details. They were both easily accessible for any questions. A bottle of local red wine waiting for us was a lovely surprise. The apartment had everything needed for a comfortable stay, along with restaurant recommendations and exclusive discounts from Maximilian.

It's an older style apartment but had everything we needed. The loungeroom/ kitchen area was a little cramped for the 5 of us but it was fine.

The apartment was well-equipped with all the conveniences we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the city easily. The host was kind and accommodating, providing helpful instructions and even allowing us to extend our checkout by an hour, which was a great help. • Daniela (10/5): you want to stay here! - we LOVED our stay with Massimiliano! from the get go we were received by Alessandro who coordinated with me for the keys and very nicely showed us everything around the apartment and the amenities in it. He made sure everything was according to what we were promised and also gave us a lot of recommendations around the area and some local tips! The area is super well located and also super safe! we went out and about until late and night and never had any problems. Beds were pretty comfy (both the one in the room and the sofa bed). Would love to stay there again on our next Florence escapade. There's honestly nothing bad I can say about this place, we had a great stay and everything worked perfectly.

The apartment is perfect for a couple or small family, but even with five of us it was comfortable enough. Be prepared for some noise at night as the apartment is next to an Irish pub. It was LOUD all night, but part of this was because of the Eurocup going on.

• Greg (10/5): Truly a great place in an exceptional location. - The apartment was great - I was a little nervous with the pull-out couch but the mattress was very comfortable and my teenager had no problems with it. My 2 other teenagers loved their private room and the master bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The bottle of wine was a very nice welcome gift (except we didn’t finish it! :( )The location is incredible. Centrally located to most of the big sites (7 minutes walking to the Duomo and 15 minutes walking to Accademia Gallery) and restaurants and shops are everywhere! I never would have thought I could drink a Guinness in Florence at an Irish pub…and it’s literally next door to the apartment (I mean I love wine but sometimes I need a break!)

Clean and reasonably size.toilet and most important the windows are sound proof so even there is restaurant downstairs you wont hear noises much. Host is amazing even though we have abit of issues, he is very responsive and quickly suggest solutions, thank you. Yeah, no matter. Prehaps the stairs as the bigger unit is on the 3rd floor and there is no lift, cant be help as this is Italy.

Slippers, coffee & tea, wine, cooking ingredients etc. Alessandro was a great host. He went all way out to service us like making reservations at popular restaurant with a 20% discounts. :) The pub besides was noisy in the night but fine with the windows closed and air-con on.

• Barbara (7/5): Nice place, noisy neighbourhood - Apartment was well stocked with the necessities - dishes, pots, etc. Bonus bottle of wine which was a lovely touch! Alessandro was fun to deal with & very helpful. Beds were comfy. Location close to restaurants & attractions. The noise!! Ugh! 2 very loud bars just outside the building. Screaming & yelling til after 3 am, THEN the delivery trucks were around at 5!

Worth mentioning is the friendly care of the landlords, who help with their tips and information so that even after a short stay in Florence you will like this city and will have the which of another stay. Maybe during another time of the year. But definitely once again at the Windows of Florence.
