Guest Reviews
- JP Perry (7/5): -
- SILVIA (9/5): Very basic, comfortable, good location motel - Good location, comfortable bed Very small bathroom. Cleaning can be definitely improved
- Xavier (10/5): -
- Ray (2/5): Miserable - Never been pressured by text to give exact arrival time for their convenience not mine
Bed was manufactured in1870
Appearance was terrible , porch roof supports were crooked or missing
- Sherry (4/5): Clean, but facilities not practical - Clean, bed linens were good No coffee in room, no breakfast service or coffee in office, close to very noisy highway, tv was roku, not cable, couldn't get local news or weather, tub request was met but would not hold water to take bath, no hand towels for sink, no rack or place to put suitcase, reading light at bed terrible, just not comfortable for the money⁶
- Jimenez (10/5): -
- Ryan (6/5): -
- Christian (10/5): -
- Anna (4/5): - Easy check in
- Sawyer (8/5): - Bathroom door doesn't have a latch, dingy place (lighting, poor maintenance).
- LuDene (7/5): -
- Linda (8/5): - It was overnight, the property is older but our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and our bed was comfortable. Nice endless hot shower and you can’t beat the price! Also Nick was very helpful!
- Martha (5/5): Passable -
- Doreen (8/5): Will definitely stay again. - Staff was great. Shower was excellent!
- fmumlord (4/5): Stay somewhere else - I decided to stay here based on the reviews.....what a mistake. The showerhead looked nice, but I couldn't get it to shut off, had to call one of the owners to come and shut it off, AND, to turn on the cold water for the sink. Shower curtain smelled of mildew once it got wet. They provide NO amenities, no soap, no cups, no coffee, no shampoo, NOTHING, although they did provide some plastic utensils when I asked for a spoon at check in.
When I tried taking a shower the water temperature randomly fluctuated from scalding to freezing and wouldn't adjust. The bed had a memory foam topper. The sheets were old, very thin, and didn't fit the bed properly. Both the sheets and the bedspread had mystery stains. At least there were no bugs....but the worst...the entire bed, and especially the pillows just reeked of stale greasy body odor. I spent the night lying flat on my back so my nose wouldn't get near the pillows, and of course I had to brave the temperamental shower again in the morning.
There was a great selection of channels on the TV, but to watch any movies, you had to sign up for the channels with a card. Free tv selection was very meager. There was a mini fridge and a microwave.
You can see that the owners are trying to upgrade an old roadside motel, but my room was a dismal failure. For $10 more I could have stayed at the Travellodge, without being required to pay a $40 refundable deposit.
- Rhonda (1/5): Disgusting property! - Excellent location and price Filthy property. Cigarette butt's everywhere outside. The room was dirty. Floor had not been mopped or swept.:I found dead bugs on the floor.
The shower had 3 different colors of mold growing and the linens were stained. Toilet paper pieces on floor.
Nothing in the room had been wiped down.
Most uncomfortable bed ever.
Will not stay again!
- Christi (10/5): - Bare bones & no thrills here. Walls very dirty, bad renovations. Over all if you just need a hard bed to sleep on with no frills this is the place
- Samuel (8/5): Quirky and clean hotel about 3 miles from Historic Downtown - The room was very clean with quirky art deco colors and art. Liked the replica 1940s looking appliances.
- Bobby (6/5): Pleasant - I don't think I got my deposit back
- Kathleen (8/5): Very good -
- Meybelyn (8/5): Very good - the bathroom was such a neat experience need more towels
- Bronwyn (10/5): - Great check in experience and a clean comfortable room.
- Steven (8/5): - Cleaning around the floor around the toilets. Vacuum under the beds and Make sure all electronics are in working order. Coffee could be helpful
- AJ (10/5): - Very quiet and owners were super cool!
- Janet (6/5): - Room was in poor condition. Cigerette burn in bedspread an cuts in the counter around the sink. Staff said it was because of damage from construction workers. If we stay again we will request a different room. Had to requst the right amount of bath towels and washcothsfor 3 people and hand towels as none had been provided
- Ashley (8/5): - Room was clean, TV worked but volume was muffled…
- Nikolay (8/5): - All good
- Johnny (6/5): - The shower had a bit of mold along the edges
- Tammy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Liam (10/5): - Very helpful staff and very clean rooms for such a great value!
- Dawn (8/5): Convenient location - The hotel was a little run down, bit was clean and I loved it was one story. Everyone was nice, but it took a while to check in. I would stay there again.
- Eric (8/5): - A very basic motel, with very few amenities. I was in town for a local art festival and needed to spend the night. The room was clean, ac and plumbing worked just fine. Was only in the room to sleep and shower in the morning, so everything worked out.
- Stacie (1/5): ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE FOR A MOTEL EVER! - Absolutely nothing. We tolerated the look of the room. So far worst motel ever stayed at! This ad is so deceiving. The only amenities in the room of those advertised are a crappy fridge that wobbles, a microwave and the “Mountain View” was the parking lot and junk yard. Waited half hour to check in since owners were out doing something else and this was after a long drive. The beds are so bad you feel the springs and the pillows are either so flat like 20 yrs old or lumpy like they threw shredded blankets in to save money. The sitting area in the room consisted of a fold up chair (1), no desk and 2 awful hangers. We did not sleep for one minute. Also charged a $50 refundable deposit if the dogs do damage to a room that has paint peeling, scratches on walls etc. I also realized we were charged a $14 property service charge...(for what?) there was no service at all..no breakfast, no coffee horrible towels, space through the door when closed. This place is so overpriced and misleading. I’m so angry I was conned to spend almost $200 based on what was on booking. Oh let me mention the roaches that were found once checked in. There was no coffee pot or hair dryer as advertised and you have to ask for it which I did ask for a coffee pot and the owner asked if I was in the room which we were for about 30-60 minutes, but no and he said he tried to deliver it later but no one was there. We were not there to spend time in the room. Also the door to the bathroom did not close at all so there was no privacy and this was the DELUXE room. The office closed at 10 and opens about 10am so if there is an emergency or something, no one is there. I understand the area, but I have stayed in Las Vegas in a luxury suite for the same money for 4 nights. This place is a dump and they rip you off and lie on the website. The fees would have been $68 if he didn't give us a discount for small dogs of $20 not $40. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL!!!!
- Salazar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amelia (6/5): - You can tell they put a lot of effort updating the motel. But, the shower doesn’t drain! Yuck!
If you’re just looking for a quick sleep and go it’s fine, not good for kids, and there’s a lot of road noise.
- Larry (2/5): - We booked that this motel on our way to the mayo clinic and phoenix. Upon Arrival, we pulled up to the office at three thirty in the afternoon and the door was locked. Upon ringing the doorbell, the door was opened and I proceeded inside
- Elvira (3/5): Choose a different hotel - Do not recommend. No one was at the office when we arrived. The whole facility is very old with zero pride of ownership.
It wasn’t clean and there was old furniture around the outside of property.
- Autumn (2/5): - The room was Dirty. The one bed looked like someone had been sleeping in it.ABSOLUTELY no hot water for a shower..I am disappointed that it was reviewed so high
- Verified traveler (10/5): Pretty good and dog friendly! - A nice small motel with decent sound isolation that let us bring our dogs :)
The only issue we ran into was the shower-tub not draining very quickly, but was otherwise great for our quick trip out there.
- Sarah (8/5): - Great price for a clean, quiet, comfortable room.
- Michael (10/5): - 3rd stay love it
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and neat Nothing
- Michael (10/5): - Courteous staff clean place. Good Value our second visit. We will stay anytime we are traveling through
- Dale (10/5): - Check in and check out were very simple. Employee was nice and helpful.
- Lee (10/5): - A little warn but fair. The mattresses could use some updating but a Roku TV and exceptional heater/cooler made it for me.
- Mrstokes (6/5): Pleasant - Nice shower The doors are open with an electronic lock. Anybody who knew the combination (or watched you typing it) could open the door. Then inside, there was no deadbolt. This made us really uneasy.
- Michael (10/5): - Cool retro sign Wonderful owner, Nice clean good value unusual cold weather could have used a blanket but its Arizona. Great updated place will use again thanks
- Kenneth (10/5): - The room was slightly dusty but everything else is very clean and the staff is very kind
- Paul (10/5): clean and comfortable at the best price in town - As always, very friendly. No frills, but clean and comfortable at the best price in town.
- Judy (10/5): - The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would recommend this place if visiting this area. We'll be sure to stay here on our next visit.
- Perkovitch (7/5): Convenient -
- Christine (5/5): Eh! - Wasn’t offered breakfast. Door cracks made heat go on and off all night. Not enough blankets to keep warm.
- melissa (4/5): - The floors in the rooms are VERY COLD.Need rugs
- Clint (10/5): Clean, comfy, & no old motel smoky smells! - No frills, but clean & comfortable for a last minute, fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants, decision to stay in Globe after hiking 37 miles of the AZT! Easy online check-in/out (via text).
- Pino (10/5): I highly recommend the Belle Aire Motel to people wanting a very nice budget friendly stay. - I always receive exceptional and friendly service. My stay is always a very easy going experience, comfortable, affordable and enjoyable. They have very clean rooms, fresh clean linen and plentiful towels and toiletries. Plus, the showers are very nice and very modern. I recommend the deluxe room, especially for couples, or more.
- Mark (6/5): Ole' Style Motel - This is/was an old style motel, which is very small, both room & bathroom, where you need to step outside to change your mind ;^) HOWEVER, they have obviously put a lot of time and $ into restoring. Rooms relatively freshly painted, new shower fixtures, TV with ROKU, microwave & fridge. Rooms where clean and nice outside the size. This is a great 1 Nighter and I would stay here again..
- Holly (7/5): Good -
- Tanya (4/5): Beds were very uncomfortable and interrupted our nights sleep - The bed was very very uncomfortable could not sleep. We've stayed before and the beds in our other room were very comfortable.
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Winston (10/5): - The staff was friendly, room was very clean.
- Robin (10/5): - Close to everything in town.
- Neil (8/5): Very good -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We love staying here. Thank you for the hospitality.
- Leann (6/5): Simple. - This place has a good location along the highway but we didn't hear noise inside the room. They chose some nice (I think extravagant) some aspects of their remodel in '13 and looks like they turned their decision-making to ultra-cheap. The room we stayed in had 2 full-sized beds, a new phone that wasn't attached to anything, super cheap lighting, and a dresser but a fancy expensive showerhead. We were able to plug in our electric car for a fee and REALLY appreciated that so we had more "fuel" to see the sights of the area more. Cool sitting area outside. Dog friendly. Very responsive to questions, he uses texting which works great for us. Stained sheets and towels make me very uncomfortable. No water cups or hand towels are provided unless you ask for them so it feels a little awkward asking for basics. The room needs some basic maintenance.
- Trudi (10/5): - Staff was very polite and helpful. Wonderful room. Would recommend to anyone looking for nice affordable hotel. I would stay there again.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable but do sacrifice some things - We stayed here overnight as we had an early work day. Upon driving in you can tell there is a lot of work needed. Overgrown grass, broken fence etc.
The check in was easy and the front desk was nice.
Pros- the room was clean and had no carpet, had a mini fridge and microwave and toiletries.
The cons- a/c didn't really cool the room that well, water in shower never got warm or hot.
All in all wasn't a horrible experience but probably will stay elsewhere next time.
- Steven (8/5): Good basic motel - Good basic room. These rooms get used hard as many construction workers stay here. I’m sure the shower curtain and bath mat were cleaned but the copper in the local dirt gets into whites and stains these items. There was only one pillow, the others were in sham covers. It was late, I was tired and just flipped one of them over and slept on it. If you just need a bed and a shower this is a fine motel.
- Ron (5/5): Passable - Just okay. Water was just warm and the shower fixture leaked like a seive. They relie on virtual too much.
- Lynn (10/5): - Renovated property that is very modern and clean. An amazing shower set up! I definitely recommend.
- Kenneth (5/5): Passable -
- Rogena (10/5): Don't let the look fool you. - We had a 2 night stay. The door locks are keyless, loved it! Has a secure latch lock inside as well. Room was clean. Renovated. Roomy. May not be 5☆ but is comfy and has a very nice updated shower! It was a panel/waterfall shower. LOVED IT! Next time in Globe, would love to settle for that again. Love the upgrades! The beds, well I'm use to my memory foam, but the mattresses were still comfy after a long day..
- Donna (2/5): Won't stay again - The vinyl floors were filthy, Shower clean, sheets cleans, all floors were filthy Dirty floors
- Peter (7/5): Good -
- Michael (10/5): - From another Expedia review which touted 'a family run, comfortable, no frills and affordable' place to spend a night, I figured it was worth a shot. I am glad for the other review sending me that way. I encountered only two young men who were both knowledgeable and helpful. Yes, I'd recommend it as a place to stay.
- Lonnie (7/5): Small cute , quiet room just what I needed - No breakfast. Great shower, fare bed.
- Stephen- (8/5): Very good -
- Reed (9/5): Superb - Quaint, cute, & comfortable. No cups in the room, but that was easily remedied.
- Damian (10/5): - Super nice
- Thomas (6/5): - It was clean in a great area near restaurants.
- Happy2fly (6/5): Pleasant - The staff checked me in is very helpful and provided me a coffee maker by requesting I wish room is dusted ckeaner
- Teddy (4/5): You Get What You Pay For - The room had a noisy heater which was located near the ceiling. We had to stand on a metal folding chair to adjust temp. Floor was not clean and pillows were flat and uncomfortable.
- Blaze (6/5): Women like safety - Was disappointed no cups in the room couldn’t even get a cup of water. No coffee maker. Also there were no secondary safety locks on the door witch could be remotely unlocked by office staff. But the front desk was very helpfu navigating TV questions.
- William (6/5): - This is an older motel that has been fixed up. Convenient access and a place to stay for the night.
- Randall (6/5): - Property is ok but very basic. No hair dryer or cups available. Metal folding chair for seating. Window seal needed to the vacuumed, otherwise room was clean. Bed was comfortable. HVAC wall unit was a bit temperamental to operate (had to stand on the metal chair to reach controls).
- 767bobbyf (2/5): Run Away! - Charged us twice what the room was worth advertised as about $70. Ended up paying about $130 but we were out of option and couldn't change hotels. Bathrooms were horrible. Couldn't get anyone to open the office door in the morning prior to leaving. Do not stay here!
- Shelley (10/5): - Super clean and comfy.
- Kyle (10/5): - Great place for such a reasonable cost.
- Alfredo (8/5): Friendly and welcoming staff. -
- AlbuquerqueMary (6/5): Basic hotel - Be careful using Google Maps. The streets Ash and Broad, in Globe, intersect and Ash becomes Broad as the street turns west. Google Maps does not understand that and sends one into somebody's backyard at the top of a dangerously steep drop off when onesearches fir the hotel address. Calling the hotel for directions is advisable if one is approaching approaching Globe from the northeast.
The hotel is managed by two very nice brothers who try to run things via texting. So, one has to call and request that somebody come on site to handle room problems. They use a numetic punch code system for the door lock which was very tempremental for me, so they finally gave me a real key since I kept calling for help when I was locked out.
The room is clean and comfortable and this is one of the few hotels in Globe that accepts pets. So it worked for me.
- Nichole (8/5): Clean & Bug Free - The BelleAir is a small hotel that is right off the highway so it’s easy to find. It’s a no frills place but great if you need a place to rest your head. It was clean and no bugs! You can tell that even with an older building the owners try to make it comfortable and maintain it. The shower had plenty of hot water and a waterfall shower head. I go to Globe often for work and would stay here again.
- Bonnie (10/5): - The shower was amazing..the room was very quiet
- Camarie (10/5): - What a nice, safe and clean feeling place with a quaint vibe and impressive decorating and techie upgrades. It has had quite a facelift and was a friendly and pleasant stay for a woman traveling alone.
- Robert (10/5): fabulous and reasonable!!! - one of the many old hotels that have been remodeled and that cost way less and offer much nicer rooms. from now on this gem is our go-to motel in globe, arizona.
- Michele (10/5): Enjoyed Our Stay!! - We have family that live in Globe and we usually stay in a hotel when we visit. We have never stayed in the Belle-Aire Motel before, but I must say it was better than most of the hotel chains in Globe. The Belle-Aire was very clean, very secure, quiet, the beds were so comfortable and the shower head was amazing. This is our new "go to" hotel when we stay in Globe. I would highly recommend this hotel!! Thanks...
- Susan (8/5): Ok for a night on the road - Very basic motel room, was clean and inexpensive. A bit noisy as our room was close to the road.
- Katherine (10/5): - We had a wonderful experience staying here. The place has clearly been updated recently and everything was neat, clean, and convenient. The fella working reception was also very kind and hospitable.
Overall wonderful experience!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfy modern room - Pleasant stay with great service and very comfortable room. Outstanding bed with warm sheets, impressive shower, fast internet!
Would make a special trip just to stay here again, it was that good!
Thank you for investing into your property to make it appealing and memorable!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice and Quiet - Good customer service. Ample parking. Quiet. Will stay here again when I visit the area.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice little motel with convenient parking right at your door. Price was affordable and no issues.
- Colt (10/5): Belle Aire Globe AZ - The rooms are nice and clean. Had a refrigerator and microwave. The only thing that the web site did not mention was the $40 room deposit that you get back at checkout.
