Guest Reviews
- WEC01 (10/5): An outstanding choice - Istanbul can be overwhelming in the wealth of its history and geography. The staff at the Celine make it feel like home. The hotel, once the mansion of an Ottoman senior official, is an outstanding choice. What made the Celine special was the staff: helpful, friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
The hotel is located in the Sultanahmet quarter, with the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, Topkapı Palace and the Basilica Cistern just a short stroll away. There are lots of restaurants in the area. The hotel is within walking distance of the Cemberlitas tram stop on the T1 line, which runs down the hill to Eminönü and across the Golden Horn to Karakoy.
A hearty breakfast is served in a secluded garden at the back of the property. Our room overlooked the Sea of Marmara, where we could see dozens of ships anchored before making port or heading up the Bosphorus.
- 410parit (10/5): Amazing Experience! - I recently stayed at this gorgeous hotel in Istanbul and was truly impressed by its elegant Ottoman atmosphere. The entire property was spotless. Both the rooms and shared areas were exceptionally clean and well cared for. The food was delicious, and the breakfast was outstanding, with plenty of fresh and tasty choices each morning. The location is excellent too, with museums, historic sites, and shopping areas all easily accessible. The staff are friendly and helpful. I’d happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Istanbul.
- 541sharmilac (10/5): Classy Hotel - Spent two nights at Celine Hotel, a very classy hotel with a beautiful set up and Ottoman furniture ! It was a great way to end our holidays.
- AndyJohn74 (10/5): Beautiful Hotel. - We spent five nights in this wonderful hotel. The service from check in was pretty special. The room is ornate and quite large. Very impressed. The only thing I would mention is the lack of coffee. We had one satchel in the room upon arrival and it was not restocked. We had to buy some from the shop across the road.
- Schmikey (10/5): In the heart of the Old City - Excellent small (14 rooms) hotel right in the heart of Sultanahmet. Literally a two minute walk from the Blue Mosque and 5-10 walk to the Grand Bazaar (it is uphill). Rooms are immaculately clean and well presented, ask for a higher floor for views of the Marmara at the back and the bustle of the city to the front. Ideal if you wan to be in the heart of the action but less so if you’re looking for a tranquil retreat. The staff are wonderful and their recommendations were always spot on, truthful and informed and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfast is basic but good.
- H9591FGliamr (10/5): Highly recommend Hotel Celine - close to all main attractions...rooms spotlessly clean, an engaging and helpful concierge staff all speak English and helpful ..👍👍👍👍
- Regina (10/5): - Lovely hotel. The staff were amazing. They were very friendly and helpful.
- Xiaochun (10/5): - Great service
- Allan (10/5): - Very quaint and comfortable. Great breakfast provided!
- Hing Chai (10/5): - Clean room and helpful staff
- DeAnn Joy (10/5): - Great location with a friendly and helpful front desk staff. Our room was spacious and clean.
- Hing Chai (10/5): - Breakfast is good, The staff are very helpful.
- Nicola (10/5): - Clean
- imre (10/5): - The breakfast is unbelievable variety of everything
- María del Socorro (10/5): - An excellent location, very friendly staff, very clean and comfortable... highly recommended
- Clare (10/5): - Beautifully restored ottoman mansion. Very helpful staff & great location.
- Susan (10/5): - Great turkish breakfast. Comfortable bed.
- Alison (10/5): - Lovely hotel in great location
- Carlos (10/5): - The location is walkable distance to just everything. Highly recommended.
- TSUBASA (10/5): - The staff was very polite and friendly. Besides, quite convenient from popular sightseeing spots.
- Michael (10/5): - Located very nicely in the historic old town area. Very easy walk to many sites. Staff was very helpful and the included breakfast was great. Rooms were very comfortable and the building was charming. Would use this hotel again..
- Clara (10/5): - the area was perfect. So close to everything! And the staff was always so nice!
- Richard (10/5): - Great location - walking distance from everything. Very friendly and helpful
- Sofiya (10/5): - Nice, pleasant stay in the heart of old town. Super close to main attractions, like Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofiya, etc. 20 min walk will bring you to the Spice market. Lots of dining options within walking distance.
The rooms are small, but clean, and you have everything you need. The pillows are a bit too hard for my taste, but the whole bad is comfy. Shower is nice, once you figure out how to use it :). Breakfast has a good selection, wi-fi is steady. People are super friendly & happy to help with anything you might need. They gave us euro plug to use, while there, and organized taxi, etc.
- Carolyn (10/5): Pretty Good Place Despite the Touristy Area - Positives:
This hotel feels Turkish in its decor and hospitality. Very tight space but it is beautifully restored.
The breakfast room is charming and the servers were consistently attentive.
If you want to be near the big tourist attractions, you are right there. Easy walk to Blue Mosque, the cisterns, and Hagia Sophia.
Negatives:
You will be accosted by storekeepers and restaurateurs every step you take! Don’t make eye contact and just keep moving. It’s exhausting after a few days.
Don’t eat in Old Town. Meals are basically American prices. (Although I must say Marabella Terrace nearby had excellent views and service.)
So the take-home message here is that the hotel is fine, it’s just that the area can wear you out!
- wakk0r (6/5): Not bad but not great either - I wrote my review on hotels . com and they edited my words which is totally inappropriate and annoying. So hopefully Trip Advisor will not.
A wannbe great hotel…but it is not. It is a small hotel with 14 rooms so it is not overwhelming in size or amount of clientele. They also have a working elevator.
But many of the concierge are busy talking to their friends on the phone, or acting like you owe them a favor for them doing their job. They really want you to book activities thru them so they can receive a commission.
One fellow got annoyed with me when I mentioned that I had tipped the cab driver…being from NYC we always tip cab drivers, however I do not tip the concierge staff at a hotel…unless they preformed a miracle like last minute orchestra seats to Hamilton on Bdway.
The front desk concierge is supposed to be helpful. The morning concierge John is happy to help me with my eSim card and answer your questions. And print out emails and travel arrangements.
Perhaps some people should not work at hotels, especially those who explode at guests about the television in the room.
However, if the television is no longer connected to the hotel internet / wifi or if one moment the television works and the next moment it does not…it is not the guests fault.
My first room on the fourth floor, was large and comfortable. However the sink drain in room is broken, so it is hard to wash out any clothing. The wall of the tub is so high I must be very careful to enter and the tub is slippery.
As to how to empty the water in the tub the man at the desk ignores my question, so water sits in tub all night. Finally I realize if I pull out the drain stopper the water goes down. Why didn’t he know that? More to the point why didn’t he say anything?
Also there are no wash cloths or bath mats for safety. Being handicapped they are necessary, so I did request them and offered to pay for them however the concierge was able to provided them, courtesy of the owner. That was good.
The bottles of shampoo etc… some are full snd others are half empty.
The towels in the tub/shower are so high up to reach I had to use my cane to push them off the shelf. And there no hooks to hang them up to dry.
The shower head is so high up a 7 ft (213 cm) tall basketball player’s head could easily touch it.
The main entrance needs hand rails.
I only had the breakfast once so I cannot comment.
Also the front rooms are noisy from all the street activity.
If you leave your bags with them they sit in the hallway not in a locked storage room as per the information I received from them via a hotels.com email.
It seems as though the owner is busy with other businesses so he never checks in.
- Neil (10/5): - .
- David (10/5): Hidden gem in Old City - The location is convenient to all the great sites in the Old City. The hotel is a boutique hotel, small but very quaint with a beautiful staircase wrapped around a glass elevator. The rooms are large and feature high ceilings with great air conditioning. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The front desk staff are super friendly and helpful.
- Brittany (10/5): - Beautiful intimate hotel. Amazing location! Central to all the big sites in the Old City. Highly recommend!!
- dchatburn (10/5): Lovely hotel, great location, super staff - This hotel is a boutique hotel featuring a beautiful spiral staircase which wraps around a class elevator serving all of the floors. The historic hotel offers classically decorated large rooms with high ceilings and full amenities. The breakfast was ample and delicious. It is close to old city attractions like the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Grand Bazaar. In addition, the staff are super helpful and friendly. They can help you with transportation to the airport, dinner cruise reservations, and directions to wherever in the city that you want to go. I had a great time at the hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
- Kelly (10/5): - Great location and friendly staff! Beautiful hotel.
- Lauren (10/5): Close distance to major attractions - The room was a nice size. And the staff was most helpful. I asked for bath mats for the tub and they were supplied. I received help with using my phone and setting up eSIM. And they printed out my airline tickets.
The breakfast they supplied had a wide variety of items.
- Sheri (10/5): - The property was in Historic area. Easy walking to see some
Sights and to get
To different restaurants. The staff was the best. Helpful in telling us about things to see and booking them for us.
- David (10/5): - Location is by far the main attraction of this small up-market five-star establishment. It is a short (5-10 min) and very easy walk to the Blue Mosque and hence within easy reach of the Hagia Sophia, the Roman Cistern and the TopKapi palace. A few minutes walk in the diection up the street, slightly uphill, takes you to a tramstation one or two stops from the Grand bazaar while two stops in the the other direction is The Galata Bridge and the quayside from which depart ferries and Bosporus cruise ships. Some rooms at the rear have a great view of the Sea of Marmara and commercial shipping anchored there.
Next in attraction is the helpfulness of staff. One of the lobby concierges even lent me his own travel card which we used mainly on the trams. (Fares are very cheap). Basically nothing seems to be too much trouble.
Then there is the charm of the building, a former Ottoman mansion - obviously completely refurbished, and to a very high standard, but actually retaining the original traditional timber structure within a stone exterior.
The only small downside of our room was that the shower is over an unusually high-sided bath that makes it difficult if not impossible for a mobility-impaired person to use- but I feel that if we had drawn this issue to the attention of the management some solution would have been found.
- Myrna (10/5): - The staff were nice and helpful. From the reception to housekeeping, breakfast staff were amazing!!! The hotel was old but well maintained. Only thing i noticed is my allergy attacks me due to probably aircon vents were dusty or curtains. I suggest to check that areas and dust the rooms. But overall was great. Walking distance to blue mosque, grand bazaar etc…
- Anthony (10/5): - Great location and friendly staff.
- Krista (10/5): - This hotel was perfect for our visit to Istanbul. Sultanahmet Square and many landmarks are only minutes walking away. The staff was helpful and friendly. The breakfast is wonderful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We had a room on the back side with a very nice view of the sea. We didn't hear any street noise.
- Robert (10/5): Istanbul gem. - Great hotel close to most attractions. Very cleand very friendly staff.
- Mahomed (10/5): - Excellent facilities, good respectful staff. Manager always at the hotel and down to Earth.
- Maha (10/5): - .
- Margaret (10/5): - A beautiful hotel with unique furnishings. Very clean with friendly and helpful staff. It is also within easy walking distance to the market and Blue Masque. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel.
- TeWe (10/5): Lovely hotel - Great stay at this lovely hotel.
The hotel is very centrally located, close to the main attractions.
The room had enough space and was clean and comfortable, did not have the best sound insulation though, but that was not a big issue.
Personnel both at the reception and breakfast were extremely friendly and helpful. Great opportunity to get tips regarding things to do and where to eat.
Breakfast was good with eggs and omelettes prepared on order.
Very good stay, highly recommendable for a stay in Istanbul.
- Tien (10/5): - We did research and decided to stay at Celine Hotel for 5 days . Spot on with cleanliness, staff hospitality, very good breakfast with various options , walking distance to major attractions , and T1 Tram station to other popular tourist areas of Istanbul which we used extensively with Istanbulkart. Will stay at this hotel in our future visit.
- Daniela (10/5): - I had an incredible stay at the Celine Hotel. I was there on a short trip, with my cousin. The hotel is lovely, with a mix of old and new (glass elevator going through an amazing spiral wooden staircase). The staff was exceptional and very accommodating. Shout out to Mürsel from reception for great recommandations on day (and night) trips and for being one of the nicest person I ever met. The hotel is situated 5 minutes away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia mosque,Topkapi Palace and a nice walk to the Grand Bazaar as well as Rasta Bazaar. Great location, very close to restaurants and shopping. One last thing: speak with someone at the hotel about airport transporation. We did not doing on the way in and ended up paying almost double than what we paid when booking it through the hotel.
The room was great, historic-minded interior decoration (we got one at the top floor with a beautiful view of the Marmara Sea). I loved the restaurant at the lower level where we had free buffet style breakfast every morning (although they do make omelette a la carte for you!). Food was really good. We had a complimentary drink when we arrived, in the afternoon and I had a Turkish coffee that I keep thinking about! It was my first time visiting Istanbul but when I am back I would love to stay here again.
- Diego (10/5): - Everything about this hotel is wonderful, specially the staff, the reception guys, the breakfast boys and girls, the maids, everybody are great specially Mürsel at the front desk and Hüseyin in the breakfast area.
I don’t have anything to do with the hotel, this hotel deserves this review. Rooms are great, we feel like we were at home. Very clean, bed and pillows are great also. A/C works fantastic.
Thanks to everybody there!!!
- NanjingMichelle (10/5): Perfection! - The hotel combined timeless old world charm with all the modern conveniences. The service was as comprehensive or as hands off as you like, and always courteous and welcoming. There was a delightful welcoming tray of nuts and dried fruits. The breakfast was a stunning array of culinary delights ranging from healthy to decadent, with the widest range of drinks I've ever seen, including tasty juice and all imaginable types of coffee. The room was spacious, with a lovely window nook, and large bathroom with soaking tub. The location was perfect, in walking distance of the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Basilica Cistern, the Grand Bazaar and a hidden gem of another mosque with all the tiling more splendid than you can imagine (from Lonely Planet Istanbul guide). The tram stop is a short walk uphill.
- carlos (10/5): - Great location, service, staff, breakfast
- Rebecca (10/5): Perfect hotel - We couldn't have chosen any better! Lovely rooms with comfortable big beds. Spotlessly clean. Fantastic breakfast with so much to choose from.
- G (10/5): - I cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Small- only 14 rooms- but quiet and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful guiding me around the places to go in Istanbul and how to get there using public transport. The breakfast was delicious- coffee a must! Location is exceptional - ten minutes walk to Blue Mosque and Ahi Sofia. Totally recommend this place!! Stay there !!
- Lucy (6/5): - Hotel Celine is a quaint, comfortable boutique hotel and is in a great location in the old part of town. The staff were helpful (especially Murcel at the front desk) and attentive. However, the walls are thin and so are the windows and we got very little sleep because the street is busy and noisy at all hours of the night.
- Giordano (10/5): Great location and nicely refurbished hotel - Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Location is great, very central.
Breakfast was nice a mix of a la carte and buffet options included in the stay.
The only annoying thing was that the windows were not designed to prevent the sound form the outside and could hear people called to the mosque very early on in the morning.
- Chester (10/5): - A great hotel in a great part of Istanbul. It is a small but beautiful hotel with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast great and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with the air-conditioning that we could not adjust during our stay and although the staff tried to fix it it did not work.
- smvNYC (10/5): Excellent location - Quaint little hotel that is located in a renovated multi-story mansion. The building is more than a 100 years old and has it own charm. Our room was on the second floor and facing the street and you could hear the outside sound quite loudly. Despite this, it was quiet at night. The room was well equipped with everything we would need and had extremely modern amenities. Perfect for our single night stay of transit through Istanbul with easy access to some of the major sights.
- Antoniya Marinova (10/5): - Excellent!
- Teresa (10/5): Fantastic Stay, Start to Finish! - From the quick, friendly, helpful check-in and room upgrade, to clean, spacious, comfortable balcony room, our stay was perfection! Breakfast was very good ( try the menemet!) and the staff attentive and friendly. The deep soaking tub was very nice, after a long day visiting historic sights.Thank you to the kind staff, who made our first visit to Istanbul so lovely and welcoming! We would most definitely stay here again.
- Dorothy (10/5): - What a beautiful hotel!! We were treated with respect from the moment we walked in until the moment we left. The staff was friendly, greeting us each time we entered and exited. They were helpful in answering any questing we had. The staff at breakfast was kind and helpful and the food was amazing! Our room was clean and comfortable and serviced each day. Thank you for the great stay, Celine Hotel!
- David (10/5): - The Celine Hotel has a great location in Istanbul, about a 5-10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar, Basilica Cistern, and numerous restaurants. The hotel was clean and well-kept, and had an included breakfast to fuel up before hitting these sites. The front desk was helpful and courteous. Definitely recommend!
- Anthony (10/5): Walk to everything! - Excellent hotel in walking distance to all highlights of Istanbul. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Excellent breakfast included.
- Eric (10/5): - The staff was wonderful and the location excellent for may attractions.
- Sonia (8/5): Excelent Hotel and Perfect Location - We enjoyed our 4 days stay here. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
We had initial hiccups since no one came to pick us at airport despite arrangements.
However all was okay once we reached. The location was perfect. We were 5-10 mins walk from Blue mosque, Bascillica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia. 10 mins walk from main tram station. Lots of places to have food.
The rooms were clean, breakfast was good. I would advise hotel management to keep more vegetarian options in hot food section.More variety would be wonderful.
The team serving us during breakfast were excellent.
- Rodrique (10/5): - Friendly staff, close to everything on the Europe side. Tall tub in bathroom can use a step up stool. No issues, would stay again.
- Ian (10/5): lovely hotel in the heart of the old town - lovely hotel and people. Perfect location for the sights.
- Victor (10/5): - Beautiful boutique hotel. Service was extraordinary. Breakfast was wonderful. Highly recommend.
- Bonita (10/5): - The front desk staff were outstanding! They offered many ways to help our stay glow with happiness. Wonderful breakfast too!!
- Bethany (10/5): One of the best hotel stays I've ever had - The front desk service and breakfast were exceptional! The room had a beautiful view. The soaking tub was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The location was walkable and felt safe.
- Bonita (10/5): - This little gem of a hotel is perfectly situated to explore the highlights of Istanbul. The staff are incredible especially the front desk where they go beyond to make sure you have an amazing experience in their city. The breakfast is terrific and the staff wonderful. The rooms are very clean. A spectacular stay.
- Karah (10/5): - Clean, beautiful property, friendly and helpful staff, and a great breakfast to start the day. Perfect for our first trip to Istanbul.
- kayer565 (10/5): Quiet retreat in busy Istanbul. - A small hotel in a former mansion is very centrally situated with extremely helpful staff. A small coffee shop in a courtyard attached provides a quiet but satisfying breakfast. The 14 rooms are comfortable and ours had a great view across the Sea of Marmara. Highly recommended.
- Nazir (8/5): Perfect Location. Lovely little hotel. - Like most of the reviews the location is amazing, walking distance to the blue mosque and other main sites. The staff are very good, very helpful and polite. Check in and out very quick and easy. Excellent breakfast with variety of cereals, pastries, cheese, cakes & bakes and eggs/omelettes made as per your choice. Our room, 404, was on the 4th floor, very compact but clean and comfortable bed, not much of a view, close proximity to mosques, enjoyed waking up to the call for morning prayers which were like an echo from 3 different mosques. There was no mirror in the main room, the only one was in the bathroom. Bathroom is a practical size, clean towels, hair dryer and toiletries are provided, nice hot shower though there was no window/ventilation in the bathroom, the ventilation issue was probably our only concern otherwise its an excellent place to stay. Variety of eating places nearby, Ozlem Kebab and Ortaklar restaurants good food reasonably priced. Grand Bazaar and Suleymani Mosque within walking distance. All in all great place to stay, we would stay here again.
- Daniel F (10/5): - Doors and trim in room were beautiful taking you back in time to when those things had value.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay! - Hotel Celine was great! The staff was always so friendly and knowledgeable, the room was clean and organized well, and the location was excellent for all of us who were first time visitors to Istanbul.
- Sian (10/5): - Good location. Nice room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff
- C4622HXjohnk (10/5): Great boutique hotel in excellent location - We stayed here for 2 nights at the start of a Turkish holiday.
This is a really nice small hotel in a great location, within easy walking distance to all the historic attractions in the old part of the city. It’s also within easy walking distance (downhill) to the Galata bridge, or the tram stops at the top of the street.
The room, overlooking the street, was a good size, comfortable bed and quiet at night.
The staff were all excellent, with useful tips on what to see, how to get around and where to eat.
The breakfast downstairs was excellent, with plenty of variety, good coffee and good service.
Easy to recommend this hotel.
- Jamie (10/5): - The staff was extremely helpful regarding getting from & to the airport. Staff was helpful with other opportunities in the area such as a hamam/massage and shopping tips. The breakfast was included and was fantastic.

- Glynis55 (10/5): Highly recommended hotel. - We have just returned from an amazing 5 days in Istanbul.
Hotel Celine was one of the high spots. An excellent location, so close to all the major sites.
The decor is amazing throughout, like stepping into a bygone era. All the staff are so very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was certainly different with a great choice. The omelettes so tasty.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome
- Glynis (10/5): Highly recommended hotel - A beautiful hotel. The location was fantastic, so close to the major sites. The decor is so stylish, you could easily be back in a bygone age. The staff so very friendly and helpful. Top class luxury.
- Gailyn63 (10/5): Great Location - We chose this hotel based on reviews. It’s a small hotel, close to major attractions. The room was large and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is great, with anything you might want. A taxi from the import is roughly $40, though you can schedule a pickup for €60. Staff are friendly, polite and helpful.
- George (10/5): - Location near historical sites all walkable and breakfast was very good and lots of selections. The roomwas clean and better than advertised. My wife's luggage was delayed and the hotel reception staff went far and beyond their duty to help her .All the staff were Great Probably the best people in the hotel business I've had the pleasure to meet. The Hotel in general made our stay in Istandbul quite remarkable. Thanks George and Lorraine Skitteral.
- Julianna (10/5): - .

Slightly off the main drag so quiter then other hotels nearby. Nice large rooms with a comfortable bed. Mursel at the front desk was extremely helpful and lovely.
- GRIGORY (10/5): - Хорошо
- Robert (10/5): Best choice - Our biggest regret was we needed to stay on but the hotel was fully booked. We will miss the fabulous breakfast, service etc... even a nice gift when leaving. Just a tip, avoid the top floor when weather is HOT... we moved to 2nd floor and air-con perfect.
Can recommend this hotel!
- MartyReeves (10/5): Exceptional boutique hotel - We thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at Celine Hotel for many reasons. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The hotel has undergone a renovation which has been done thoughtfully and retained the character of this former Ottoman mansion. The courtyard is a beautiful place and an oasis to have a traditional breakfast. The reception staff were all incredibly helpful, friendly and available for advice and assistance. They greeted us each time we walked in the door. Wonderful restaurants and sights in close proximity. We are returning in October as we have enjoyed every aspect of our stay.
- VERONIQUE (10/5): - Beautifully decorated small hotel. Very intimate. Our room was spacious and so comfortable. The staff is welcoming & very professional. The café next door (where breakfast is served) is lovely. Perfect location to visit all the major museums.
- Anzhelina (10/5): - It was really amazing to stay in Celine Hotel! It's a quiet place in the historical center of Istanbul. Interior design was created by a very intelligent designer. It is comfortable to use, beautiful, made by natural materials and long lasting. Beds are absolutely comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. Staff is very polite and intelligent. It was really a pleasure to stay in Celine hotel! Thank you very much!
- Darwin (10/5): - Very nice hotel and excellent service
- Tehmeena (6/5): - Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable but hotel needs maintenance. E.g. lift door on 2nd floor was broken but staff insisted to bring luggage to room and Helped bring down. Toilet plumbing had been connected to hot water supply in our room so bidet had scalding hot water, as Muslims this was really inconvenient. Also rooms should be soundproofed. Can hear the guests upstairs and if someone is walking past or talking outside the room, it echoes in the room which is disruptive at night. Breakfast menu could have more options and the buffet items should be labeled.
- macdodo64 (10/5): Fantastic hotel in old center of Istanbul - Great hotel and a fantastic location, 2 minutes wlking to the Blue Mosque. Nearby many restaurants (the hotel recommended the Food Palace, great food). Hotel is decorated beautifully. The service is outstanding, very helpful personnel. Very nice rooms but best of all is the breakfast, the options are amazing!
- David (10/5): Outstanding hotel in sultanahmet - We loved our stay at the Celine Hotel. Great location and lovely rooms. The bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was amazing and in such a nice little Cafe. Definitely recommend this hotel for your first time in Istanbul.
- Jing (8/5): - The location is in the center of the old Istanbul at the European side, and it is within a walking distance to all major tourist attractions including Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. However, the amenities of the hotel is kind of old and my room is small without any views.
- Edward (10/5): - Great location for major tourist attractions; easy to get to by metro or tram. It is near many mosques and so you will hear the call to prayer at 4am and other times of day. Breakfast is amazing!
- Heidi (10/5): - The hotel was lovely, the bed wonderfully comfortable, breakfast delicious, and Mursel (who checked us in, arranged our transfers from and to the airport, and gave us excellent dining recommendations) was spectacular! If/when I return to Istanbul, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
- steve (10/5): - This property like exceeded tower expectations! Staff and concierge service excellent. We would definitely stay here when returning to Istanbul again.
