• Michael (8/5): A perfect base for exploring Medan with a very warm Sumatran welcome. - We used Medan as our base, travelling out to other areas of Sumatra so stayed at the Travellers Suites on 3 separate occasions. The hotel is well situated, 45 minute drive from the airport (and that takes into account Medan's nightmare traffic!). We had a suite which was perfect for our family of four - two adults and two teenage children. We had three good size rooms which meant everyone had their own space. There were also two showers and toilets, which again is useful when travelling as a family. The lounge area was huge with a small kitchen area (which we didn't use). Our first night there we ate from the room service menu, there was a good choice of food but it is a little on the spicy side for those who don't like hot food. The breakfast, which was included, was excellent - a really good choice of options from local food to omelettes and cereals. What made this hotel, for us, was the staff. Everyone at the hotel was so warm and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. On our first morning we met the Marketing Manage, Teguh, who introduced himself and gave us his card telling us to contact him if we needed anything. We had an issue with our credit card which meant our final stay was cancelled - a quick WhatsApp to Teguh and he sorted a room for us. If I am being picky, in places bits of the room are a bit tired - shower curtains not fitting properly, leaky showers, loose door fittings etc. but that was it, nothing that caused us any issues or spoilt our stay.

• Hesly (3/5): - I like the space, it is big, even it is very old. Location in the middle of the City. The cleanliness was poor , very old furniture and tear down. No microwave, the shower drain is blocked. The breakfast quality is very bad, The food is cold. Including the chicken, tofu etc. Not enough parking lot as well. It is not worth for 1.75 million rupiah per day.

• Linda (5/5): The appartement is located a walk distance to Lippo Plaza Medan with some options of restaurants - Big appartement with 2 bedrooms Everything was old, the bathroom, the kitchen, the bedrooms, the furnitures and the appliances are crying for upgrade and refurbishments. The appt we got smell terrible, looks like the management allowed the guests to smoke inside the rooms, so the house keeper tried so hard to get ride off the smooking smell without any luck.

• Tomasz (10/5): Comfortable stay - Very spacious apartment with a big shared space, kitchen and balcony. Comfortable beds, fridge. Tasty breakfast. Very close to the main attractions of the city, but not directly on busy streets. Very helpful staff. There was a possibility to leave the luggage after the check-out. There was no kitchen equipment (if someone wanted to prepare a meal) and places to sit on the balcony, but this did not affect the comfort of the stay in any way.

Large clean appartement, friendly staff, good Indonesian breakfast, second time when we had to leave early they offered a take away breakfast. Also handy is the CIMB bank opposite of the hotel.

• Gordon (2/5): Not as expected. - Helpful and understanding staff, Receptionist to Manager Management are serial victims or poor workmanship by air conditioner installers and maintainers. Vibrations in walls and floor caused personal discomfort and inability to sleep. No sleep refects the score. After meeting management to share technical engineering shorfalls I understand remedial works are planned. Experience was over 2 rooms and 2 nights. The whole outlook toward this accomadation will change if and when the vibrations felt through floor and walls isolated. I sincerely wish Mangement wellin acieving that. GT
• Philippe (5/5): Passable - Convenient Location, good breakfast. Easy for I driver to find. Outdated furniture/ old bedlinen and towels. Very noisy both from outside as moving chairs on tiled floor. Guests allowed to make noise till lat including several people in one flat
