Dear Booking.com Customer Service,
I am writing regarding my recent booking at **Kuta Bel Rainforest Hotel** booking number 6410766510) for **4 nights from 25th sept to 28th sept .
Upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed and concerned about the condition of the hotel, which was not as advertised on Booking.com:
* The room and lobby had a **strong stench due to recent floods**.
* There were **large numbers of mosquitoes**, particularly around the lobby and our room.
* Our **7-year-old son suffered multiple severe mosquito bites** on his arms and legs. Locals confirmed this was **abnormal**, and we were advised to take him to the hospital.
* Our son also consumed cake from the hotel lobby and **experienced intense stomach pain and multiple episodes of vomiting** later that night.
* The **hotel hygiene was unacceptable**: grass and weeds outside the windows were unmanaged, **bed bugs were present**, silver worms were in the wardrobe area, and the smell from the floods persisted.
We approached the hotel staff, and while they were shocked and took photos, the situation **did not improve**. Despite being shifted to a bigger room, the issues remained.
Due to these unsafe and unsanitary conditions, we could only stay **2 nights instead of 4**. We have **photographic evidence** of the conditions, the mosquito bites, and the vermin present in the hotel.
This stay clearly constitutes **false advertising and unsafe accommodation**. As per Booking.com’s policies regarding refund requests for **unacceptable or misrepresented accommodations**, we are requesting a **full refund** of our booking amount.
Please confirm receipt of this message and advise on the **next steps to process the refund**. We expect a prompt resolution, as we trusted Booking.com to provide accurate listings and safe accommodations.

The swimming pool on level 2 is small — not really suited for actual swimming — and the gym was okay but nothing special.
Despite the drawbacks, I did extend my stay and poor cleaning become frustrating. Somehow they were asking if I need cleaning and replacement towels were dirty and the never cleaned the shower

The executive room was very spacious and cozy. It was also very strategic. we could hangout to the Kuta Beach in just 15 minutes. The staffs are also very well trained with great hospitality standard. I could not remember their names all, such as Pramana, Nanda, Putri and many more. Very fast response from room service either when we request for some cutlery. Will consider to stay in this hotel again for sure.

The rooms were absolutely disgusting and not like the photos on the internet. The rooms stunk of mould, damp, cleaning detergent attempting to mask the mould smell. The room was so bad I could not breath and got a headache. On further inspection, I could see mould and damp everywhere (see photos), some areas covered by paint in an attempt to camouflage the mould issue. The linen was also disgusting, blood stains, 'other S%X' stains, dirty. The pillows were disgusting. The bathrooms leaking around the toilet bowl, which stunk. The corridors and hallways disgusting and dirty. The whole place needs to be knocked down because I expect it is toxic with all that mould. I was at this location for a dance event where all the participants were in the same location, and many of those from the dance group were complaining about the same issues. Additionally, this place is extremely dodgy, requesting pre-payment directly to a bank account not associated with Booking.com. When I arrived and saw the condition of the room, i immediately wanted to cancel, but had already pre-paid on my arrival and therefore, could not leave without losing my money. Extremely dodgy place. Avoid if for nothing else than health reasons. I travel a lot, and this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

* Payment Policy: Requiring immediate payment for food orders can be a bit inconvenient.
* Payment Mishap: The food delivery person initially overcharged and then returned twice, first for a receipt copy and then with his boss to offer a refund and request a new payment. While the situation was eventually resolved, it was an irritating and unnecessary hassle, especially late in the evening.
- Tour02364838231 (10/5): Fantastic Stay at Swiss-Belhotel Rainforest! - I had an amazing experience at Swiss-Belhotel Rainforest! The lobby is beautifully designed, and the first impression was excellent. The staff, Bli Agung, were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I was pleasantly surprised to have my room upgraded to a Grand Deluxe with a bathtub, such a nice touch! The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of options, catering to all preferences.
The hotel is very comfortable and conveniently located near various souvenir shops, making it easy to explore and shop. However, the *bed was not as comfortable* as I had hoped, but it didn't take away too much from the overall experience.

- 415yennia (2/5): Water problem in shower room and toilet - Stayed for 2 nights, the next day have water problem since morning until almost evening can't use toilet and shower room, I am very disappointed with this hotel branch, another swissbell I stayed never happened such things, manager in charge wanna change room in 5 minutes, but it is already 1/2 hour no information given.

- fiza (2/5): - Would never stay here. I wouldn’t recommended anyone stay here. From the day we got there , I started crying because of how awful the place was. I was trying to cancel , but wasn’t able to do so. The place was disgusting , not clean even though housekeeping had apparently cleaned the rooms. The sheets were stained , the bathroom , everything. I dreaded coming back to the place every time. Same with my family. The staff wouldn’t understand anything I was saying (yes I know the language barrier , but I was using google translate and showing them what I was saying). They tried to charge me for laundry , when they initially told me it was for free. They would mess up the food that we ordered, after it happened three times we gave us ordering food. I know it looks good online , but looks nothing like that in person. Take it from one persons mistake please

- Z7491WWahmeds (10/5): Wonderful hotel in a fantastic location - I booked this hotel as they are in strategic and prime location, the hotel is very clean and employees are extremely friendly and helpful, check in was fast, the reception assigned 3 rooms for my family for 4 nights, comfortable mattress and the balcony was convenient to all of us, well done to the management and all employees of the hotel.

- Eleanor (9/5): Calm oasis for Kuta stopover. - We loved the ambience of Swiss-Belhotel Rainforest. The lobby and restaurant areas are a beautiful, calming oasis from Jalan Sunset Road.
The location was perfect as our flight arrived late and we needed a rest before travelling onto our next destination.
Breakfast was delicious and the staff were very kind and friendly. For us was nothing to complain about.
