Hannah (8/5): We had a really pleasant stay, the owners are fabulous, my daughter especially enjoyed speaking to Rusty and meet his do - The property grounds were beautiful, really well maintained. The rooms were a little small, but it was just me and my daughter so it was fine for us. The bed was very comfortable and clean, I would say the room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked, there was dust etc and whilst I could see the bathroom had been cleaned it wasn’t quite to my standard, however it wasn’t awful and didn’t put me off using it and I didn’t feel the need to complain, I just have high standards of hotels, it was still visibly clean and you could tell it had been cleaned.

Rusty, the manager, is friendly helpful and on top of that, is a lovely guy. It appears that nothing is too much and he will help you. What a great place to stay at! Very friendly and a great atmosphere.

Stan (2/5): Extremely disappointed first that the price was supposed to be $182 which turned into $203 on arriva - Breakfast was as expected. No real power point in room. Just a 4 pin power board, which we had to search for. One switch wouldn't turn on or off. Had to plug the Electric Jug into this to make a cuppa.The "bedside/table light has a very dodgy switch. This too was plugged into the 4 pin board. Someone will be electrocuted, sooner or later. Double bed mattress had slope on the available side, as though someone who weighed 300kg had been sleeping it for a fair amount of time. The single bed had a 5th leg under it. Was going to investigate, but forgot. Furniture was grungy. The soap dispenser beside shower was either empty or didn't work. The soap dispenser for hand basin was empty. There was one tiny table and chair in the room. Bathroom looked like it was for disabled. Nothing to contain the shower water from immediate area, despite a drain on the wall side. Water went right up to the toilet pedestal. Had to squeegee the floor in order to use toilet without feet getting wet. Owner tried to talk me out of parking in one of only 3 designated lots in front of the building. He almost insisted I park on the street, assuring me it would be safe. Next morning there were cars parked on both sides of street which meant one lane only for passing traffic. I would expect 75% more value for money than this room. I have never seen a such shoddy room. Doesn't look too bad from outside, but have to carry luggage a fair way to get to room. Thankfully it was ground floor, as we are very old. Also, not able to get any information whatsoever from website, and had no choice to use direct booking. Would never recommend to anymore, and will be telling people not to think about using this place. Also deceived that this was only one of two which were available for rent on that day, which was not correct.

The room was small but clean and we loved the 'Beach' theme. The shower was awesome and we really enjoyed our Continental breakfast. Would recommend to anyone wanting affordable accommodation in a great, quiet location in Yeppoon. We would definitely stay again. Was all good.

No response from either booking.com Or the property, after emails sent. Upwards of $500 lost/witheld from me, not refunded, without being truthful about it.

Donna (10/5): A must if you travel to Yeppoon. - The owners went out of their way to make our stay feel like family had come to visit. Need hangers in the bathroom.
Nigel (8/5): Great Location, Great Motel, Great Stay. - The location was just right. Not too far to get to the front. The pool looked very inviting although we didn’t venture in. Towels were available should we had done so. The staff were very friendly and explained everything to us. The room was clean and tidy and had complementary soaps etc. The continental breakfast set us up for the next part of our journey without having to look around for something to eat. If we are ever back in the area, we would visit again. Thank you. Yes the room was on the small size but suited our needs. If there was one criticism it was the height of the bed. It was comfortable but a person of small stature would possibly need a step to get onto the bed.

Raelene (10/5): No ice cubes - The owners are the nicest people with a great sense of humour. We loved every day there and will be going back again. Nothing, but could do with another switch for the kettle.

Berger (2/5): Poor and review on app. Completely wrong was not boutique motel. - The poor staff Door to room did not lock after staff filled with it for 15mins. Beds uncomfortable. Sheets not crispy clean. Just yuck.

Samantha (5/5): - They accommodated our late check in.and were hospitable. It is not a.resort. it is more like a backpackers..it was noisy and breakfast was nit worth the extra costs
