Guest Reviews
- Niña (6/5): - Rooms are old
- Anthony (6/5): - Elevator non functional except for 1 day. Hand locks were loose, water splash of bathub floor, unsafe. Loose faucet Hotel across street is under renovation the whole time during our stay.
We like the spacious room and clean in general. Theattendace and employees are vey helpful, courteous and respinsive to our requests.
- Justin (4/5): - Room had termite shavings on wooden restroom door. Sheets were stained. Staff have good customer service
- Macoy (6/5): - nice place to stay
- Pablito S J (6/5): - I like the staff, friendly and attentive. Room is ok but cable tv channels listed on wall is not the ones on air.
The a/c in the common areas ie, lobby reception and dining room are not working or at least turned off.
Only one a/c unit is working so it’s uncomfortable to eat. Free wifi is only good at the front of the building. The back rooms you don’t get reception. Lobby men’s’ washrooms facilities need some TLC,
- Macoy (10/5): - close to the beach staff very helpfull...
- peter (6/5): - Ideally situated, shower was freezing cold everyday, building work next door woke you at 8am. Hotel staff were very polite and breakfast was ok. Close to beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Excellent service! - Very accommodating staffs.
- Jerry (10/5): The hotel was perfect! I love to stay here.. - Very accesible the place is near in all groceries and walking only going to the beach. The staff in the hotel are very friendly.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Eurotel - The bathroom was a little odd. The drain was not that great and the floor area would flood. The lighting was OK. The staff very polite and good food.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Planned to stay 1night but end up extending.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Bit outdated hotel, access road floods went it rains due to few construction projects in the area. Great service though!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I like the staff accommodation and the cleanliness of the room.
- Dolly (8/5): - Hospitality was truly outstanding, too bad location is worrisome.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Not happy with the rooms. There bathroom looks very dirty and there is no bidet hose to wash.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Pillow & pillow case has some stain. Narrow rest room space. No curtain at the bathroom to prevent the water from spillage all over on the floor up to the toilet bowl.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Arrived after a long journey shower was cold when notifying staff no updates after going out and returning to the hotel we where finaly moved to a bigger room there was alot of construction work in the other building lots of noise dust not a happy stay at all would not recommend
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Friendly staff.
Noticed that toilet needs deep cleaned.
- Ruby (8/5): Few steps from the beach! - The hotel was great since its very close to the beach and few steps to station 3, The only bad thing is it gets flooded outside the hotel going to the beach, no need to worry about that though if you are not going to Boracay in rainy season. The breakfast buffet was excellent too, there were enough choices of food and the staffs were friendly as well.. overall its affordable and worth it!
- Jha (6/5): - In the website, it is written that you can check in by 1pm then when we were arrived they told us that the check in time is 2pm. Inconsistent
- MARIVIC (10/5): We will come back - the staff are very helpful
my wife and I enjoy their service
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The good thing about this hotel is that they offer buffet breakfast that is included during your stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Cheap but quality service and staff... if you're expecting 1st class
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Simple hotel
- Verified traveler (2/5): - First room, bathroom lock was broken, bathroom tiny, toilet seat loose and shower head cut off. We also were given both electronic and metal key as the electronic one was faulty. Had to ask for safe. T air con unit was old and so loud there was no way you could sleep. Moved rooms again no safe had to ask for one and it was the same one being moved and even then it wasn’t fixed in place so wasn’t secure. Phone didn’t work in second room so couldn’t call reception bathroom was slightly bigger but not and much full of rust. Balconies look into next hotel you could almost jump over to it. The overall hotel needs upgrading it’s like they wait for you to pick out faults to be fixed. Only good thing is location. Breakfast wasn’t good only thing could eat was the eggs. To be fair to the reception staff they were always friendly and did move us when asked.
- Manuela (10/5): Amazing - Amazing breakfast..Amazing location..great room..would stay again
- Nerissa (4/5): embarassing to recommend to friends - Not really good, bathroom has a foul smell that is carried throughout the room. Wifi was off for 2 days that we were there. Staff dont care if we complain, just say “thats the way it is” kind of. Should got an additional discount for discomfort
- harry (10/5): - great place
- Mary Jane (8/5): - Facility is quite different in photo than the actual, wifi and the elevator not working well during our stay. But on the other hand food and dining service is excellent, staff are very friendly helpful and approachable kudos for the staff😊
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Room half cleaned and a cleaning bottle left in the room. Aircon barely worked, prepare to sweat if booking. Showers have no heat. Bed felt like lying on concrete. The entire hotel literally stinks almost like sewage, very unpleasant smell. Hotel is currently surrounded by construction sites that can be loud and completely ruin the island experience, rubbish everywhere. Elevator was out for ‘routine maintenance’ for two days on NYE, felt like a cheap excuse instead of honesty.
Unless everything else is booked out avoid at all costs
- Dolce (4/5): - As soon as you enter the lobby, it smells like a sewerage. The rooms smelled like it was not aired and dusty. The sink is leaking.
- Huan (4/5): - The hotel in general stinks like an old hotels in Europe, bathroom / shower is not just small it’s very small , no hot water , WiFi Was very bad . Hotel has a massage spa , staffs are very noisy that I thought I was in the wet market place , that you can’t relax at all . The hotel in general is noisy due to thin walls ... that’s all and thank you for asking I hope this could help . Happy NeW year...
- david (2/5): Rip off - No hot water charge for extra sheets and pillows and beach towels
- Rupert (2/5): Horrible - Very disappointed in this place, cant even be bithered to list all the issues suffice to say DO NOT STAY THERE!!
- John (10/5): Inexpensive hotel in Boracay -
It is hard to complain too much, you are in Boracay after all:)
Hotel was a great value.
About 1/2 way between the beach and the road.
The wifi was hit or miss, it worked sometimes but not others, that may have been the island not the hotel.
Short walk to the beach was nice.
The breakfast was limited. They made fresh eggs one day, but most days it was scrambled or none. The balcony was close enough to almost touch the next hotel and the view was nothing but the next door hotel.
The shower was a bit cold for me (but that may be an American thing) and the promised in room safe was missing.
Manager Christian went out of his way to be helpful.
I would stay there again
- Verna (10/5): - We just had overnight,I’m really impressed with their room and the location is close to the beach, restaurants & shops
- EFFIE (10/5): - it was nice and staff are very friendly. love it
- Verified traveler (4/5): - No hot water.. but they did upgrade my room which was cool.
It's just a budget hotel. Really nothing special.
- Cipriano Jr (4/5): Eurotel Boracay Poor service - The room is not properly clean, the drawer there os a left garbage from previor guest. The bathroom is not tidy. I request on our second day stay after breakfast to make up the room but nobody come to clean. I went to guest service by almost 8pm to check if somebody will clean the staff at the desk are still saying for to check. I told her I requested after breakfast and now its dinner time nobody come. Breakfast good are very poor in taste, the temperature is not good hot food should be hot but its cold. The egg station are late to start and area is dirty.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Eurotel - November 2018 - We stayed for 4 days and we never been asked to clean our room nor change our linens nor restock our personal hygiene kits (shampoo, soap, tissue, etc.). The Buffet breakfast was never enough for everyone. If you want to eat the complete offering, you need to wake up at 6-7AM, otherwise, you will not get enough options or else, you will be eating the food other people won't eat.
- Rolina (10/5): - Will certainly stay on this hotel for our next Bora trip!!!
- Carmen (6/5): - Pros:
Beakfast buffet is ok
Room is ok
Staffs are great
Cons:
Elevator is not working. We all use the stairs.
Breakfast not serve in time
Key Card does not work to open my room
Aircon in my room not so cold
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Great location. Slow internet. Bugs in the bathroom. Air con it’s ok.
- K (6/5): - Room is a lot older and rundown than shown on the pictures. The internet is a joke, the hotel is definitely not suitable for business travelers.
- Artur (6/5): not so good experience - i was checked-in to a room with lower standard than booked (without any notice at reception)! after informing hotel staff they said they don't have any other room to accommodation me (like if nothing happened). when insisted to transfer to room that i booked online, they finally presented me two other rooms and eventually i got checked to a room that i booked... it consumed more than 1h and introduced unnecessary hassle - i did not hear single "sorry"; rooms are in rather poor condition, doors of the balcony in all the rooms had a chance to check had broken handle - it was not possible to lock them, hotel staff promised to fix that on the next day, but nothing was done during my entire 10 days stay. breakfast is free but is very simple and same options repeat almost every day, wifi signal strength is ok, but internet speed is unstable and rather slow. overall 55 usd per night for given standard is too much (it was my 5th stay in boracay and i must stay that much better accommodations can be found for that price)
- Warren J (6/5): great stay no room service - our stay was good best location all good but from day one the in room phone not work even on las day we could not phone for room service at all we asked for a fridge never got one so this meant going to eat out all the time hotel staff were very nice very polite but i think the power to fix phone was out of there hands our stay was still good and yes i will return because everyone deserves a second chance my kids loved it
- Jonas (2/5): Avoid Marco Polo! Save your money!!! - unpleasant - a staff at Cucina drive us away out of the line because we do not have breakfast inclusion. It was a glitch found out later on. Guess what? No sorry and no apologies. Rude and uncivil.
- Paul (2/5): Worst experience of my life - Let’s see....this hotel only has cold water! Like it’s 1800 or something but management says it warm water just not hot. They said that until I proved to them it was cold and they ask if I want to change rooms to One that has warm water. I did and it wasn’t much better. New room had Ants running about but so did the precious room. Front desk said they would have the room cleaned. The tv remote was broken as was the rooms safe. Had to wait a day for these things to be fixed. Also the rooms phone didn’t work so calling the desk for an extra towel or for information was impossible. Was told they had an electrician coming but after 5 days I stopped asking. My rant here could go on with specific about the staff and their sceaming and/or incompetence but I think I’ve said enough. Horrible hotel!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Dirty room. They did not clean the floor at all. Wifi is incredibly weak.
- Jake (2/5): Dingy rooms, poor service - The first room they gave us had mould all over the ceiling and walls. They moved us to a better room after we complained, but the AC occasionally smelled of manure. Any food items we tried to order to our room were unavailable. When I went for a foot scrub at their spa, the staff spent 20 minutes arguing over who has to do it. Their breakfast is hit or miss, one time the sausages were uncooked and another time the soup was just water and lettuce.
- mike (2/5): Bad .bad and bad - No hot water ,no understand customer needs,
Poor in english understand,no clean room service ,no provide a good service .
Poor and poor .i really sad about staying at your
Hotel.
- stephen (8/5): Better than most in price range - We had a strange interior room with no view and the size of the room was just big enough for the queen bed. We thought we could do better so walked the beach looking for another hotel in the same price range and quickly found out that the Eurotel was the cleanest, most updated, best deal in the area. Also, the island is doing tons of construction and motorbikes are loud, so the interior room actually worked out well for sleeping.
- James (6/5): Friendly helpful hotel staff - Internet was very slow and air conditioning was very noisy and couldn’t sleep. Although the breakfast was ok the hotel staff were friendly and the room was clean.
- Mario (2/5): It's a nice hotel if you're on a tight budget. - I originally was booking a beach front hotel with at least 2 queen bed. I booked the chosen hotel without considering how much we're going to spend. As usual, internet is soooo slow then suddenly just kick us out of the website. We called Orbits to ask if our booked hotel went through and we were told it didn't went through and so they instead booked us in this hotel. I asked the girl if it is beach front and she said no bit it's just a few minutes walk to the beach. I specifically ask her for 2 queen beds but instead she booked us on studio room with one queen bed. When we got there, the room was very small, it smells, terrible mattress, noisy, a shower and toilet in a small space with no soap holder and floods the whole bath/toilet. And to top it all, we don't have our own key and someone will have to open our room for us. Room floor is damp from getting out of the flooded toilet. And we were provided with a size 5 slippers and we're both size 12. :(
- Gil (4/5): Poor service - I stayed for 5 nights and once my bed sheets and room cleaning done and it was because I requested for it with follow up. The 2nd floor corridors smells different and sure not pleasant. For sure I will not go back nor recommend.
- Tim (6/5): For the price and location it's a nice hotel - The wifi didn't work and the rooms weren't made unless we requested it to be cleaned
- Verified traveler (6/5): OK hotel close to beach - WiFi did not work most of the time, had to go to lobby to even use it
- Robin (8/5): Nice good and friendly - They really bad needs to upgrade the Wi-FI other than that a really nice hotel. Low waterpressure in the shower but that is a common problem on boracay. Nice staff and good location.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Location is excellent: Right in the middle of everything. Staff are friendly. First room they tried to give us looked like it hadn't been used in months and nothing worked, but the room they moved us to after we complained was very clean and spacious. Elevator/ Wi-Fi only work about 15% of the time. Breakfast is hot and free so I really can't complain too much. Overall, I'd stay there again.
- Tomohiro (4/5): 1 min distance to beach, rest was so so - balcony door was broken and was ajar at all times. i asked them to fix it and they bolted the door with screw. i told them i wanted to also open and go out (as that is the purpose of a balcony) but the staff told me they will need to unbolt the screw, which i had no idea why they did it in the first place. i asked for a room change and it was the same condition so i gave up.
Breakfast was 1 star out of 5 and (some local soggy food and toast with choice of several drinks).
The only thing that was good was the distance to the beach (which was the only reason we booked this place in the first place). So those expecting anything else besides the distance to the beach, not recommended. For those who wants reasonably-priced accommodation (which was very much agreeable rate) with literally 1 min to the beach is highly recommended.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location - Good value! Good location , very nice helpful staff
- Ulysse (2/5): A hotel not to go to - Old hotel, dirty bed sheet, dirty towels, check-in not well organized, the room key given was not working - had to change room, AC very noisy, breakfast options very poor quality, no room make up. I will definitely not come back and don't advise anyone to go there.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - They should have give us a discount for not operating elevator... we had to climb up to 5th floor by stairs whenever we have to go to the room. yes
- Verified traveler (8/5): Recommended with Reservations - A decent and clean place but there's just something about the vibe that feels like you're not on holiday. It feels really like more of a business hotel but cleanliness and quality can match other nice hotels.
- glennW (6/5): Fair enough for studio room - Walking distance to beach. Wifi was bad. Do not stay here during rainy season as the area is flooded. Do not expect on buffet bfast - limited food. No comforter, towels are old. Near mcdonalds, dmall, talipapa, om bar.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not bad for the price - The room wasn't bad. Staff was nice. I just didn't like the trail of ants next to my bed.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Close to the beach. Excellent location - I would stay here again. Highly recommended. It was really close to the beach and everything was easily accessible. The beach was less than 5 minutes away.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Decent hotel, not everything works - The stay was decent, but the wifi logs in and is deathly slow to the point of not working. The staff said that was because everyone was using it. That should not be a reason for the Internet not to work correctly, especially if you claim to be a business hotel.
- Annya (6/5): Three star standard - An average three star hotel located nearby the beach. Need proper lighting, specially the whole corridor, when the lift door open, the whole corridor look horrible, like horror movie scenario
- gregory (6/5): - I select my hotels by: price, location & free wifi.
The price was great, the location was great for the price.
The wifi was terrible. Constant disconnections and if I wanted to connect i either had to go in the hall (and get bothered by the flies and mosquitoes from the open door that was slow to get closed), sit in my room with my chair by the door to connect (and get disconnected more than once every 5 min)or go into the lobby and connect there (and the flies and mosquitoes come by to say Hi again).
The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good too. Remember... you cant judge this hotel by USA standards.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Improvement on the pillows please - I can see the inside of the pillows covers, pilow itself was full of stains. Next time, the pillow covers should cover all of the pillow and that it should be difficult for guest yo see the inside. Gross!
- Arthur (2/5): More like a 1 star motel - I have no idea how Expedia can rate this as a 3.5 star hotel. It's sits right next to a junkyard with dirty toilets piled up. There were even several roosters kept onsite which crow all day. There were holes in the drywall where it was rotting. The shower only has a quarter wall w/no curtain which caused water to splash all over the place. I slipped twice on the floor due to it as it was way slicker than your average bathroom floor. The A/C wasn't strong enough to cool the room. Also, the TV had snow on all the channels. Does this sound like a 3.5 star hotel to you?
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not as expected ! - We expected much better than we got. Breakfast was not up to standards for a "Euro Type"hotel. Advertised room slippers, but did not get any. The front desk people and staff were very kind and nice...However I feel we paid much more than we should have.
- frank (6/5): Close to beach - Rubbish dump across the road of hotel noisy . Road in front of hotel always had water leaking
- K L (2/5): - i will be contacting you soon the hotel does not have a Roof Terrace and the twin room shown on your page is not the one we got and it is on a building site which was even working Christmas day I am not happy I took my friend away as she has lost 3 people very close to her over the last year and couldnot face uk for Christmas I was very upset about the description of so call roof terrace and the pic of the room we did not get. The Island was lovely but the hotel not.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Pretty basic hotel - Pretty basic but I guess it's not bad for the price...wifi is poor and room service could be a lot better to improve room comfort.
- Verified traveler (8/5): overall ok and happy to stay there. - value of money as it located in a very good location.
near beach about 5 min on foot.
The hotel service is good. they will try their best to provide the service whenever you requested (eg: change towel, vacuum the room and get extra bedsheet)
Bad: the hotel breakfast not very nice. less variety of food to choose.
Bad: thin bedsheet.
- soon kiet (10/5): Happy with Eurotel - It seem Eurotel having a very bad review in the past.
We have a pretty pleasant experience with them.
Location is nice, 5 min to the beach. have MCD nearby :p
Air condition is loud, Room Services is 24 hour and fast. room cleaning is alternate day.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Not Good - Hotel staff were good, but this isn't a 3.5 star hotel. The room seemed old, small and it was noisey. I wouldn't stay here again.
- Oladipo (6/5): Nice place close to the shore i would recommend it - its a nice hotel, but the breakfast is poor, no hot water for shower, the rooms are good and the aircon is great the hotel is good clean on the outside bt the room they promise house cleaning bt there was not cleaning at all bt its close to the shore and where u can get good food to eat
- Edwin Sedo (8/5): close to the beach - nice economical hotel and close to the beach, restaurants and shops
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The wifi is poor and not stable.
- Stephen (10/5): Nice clean hotel - Great place to stay in the middle of the resort easy to get everywhere, hotel staff were great....
- Muspetite (4/5): A minute walk to the beach. - Very near beach. Hotel exterior floods due to rain and smells due to nearby trash. Breakfast was limited w only 4 tables. Room (studio) was just nice for 2 people. Hotel has no view. Balcony oversee next door hotel. Blanket was too thin & a/c have no temp control. Hotel have no slippers. So might be good to pack a pair to use in room as it might be sandy after visiting the beach.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Meatless fish - Ordered room service for "fish n chips" n they gave me chips n fries. The fish was missing!!!!!!!!!! Worst thing was when I called to confront, they gave me the fish n asked me to pay again?!????!!!
Lots of ants were found in the toilet basin area.
N No blankets were provided???!!!!???it wasn't a very pleasant sleep to have with the aircon blowing but all u have was the bedsheet to cover
- Jucille (8/5): - i like your hotel but when taken a bath or even shower the drainage was clogged and the water gets out all over the floor of the toilet
- Ikumin (6/5): It is OK to stay for one night. - I stayed one night for single use. The hotel location is good. It is close to station 2, but it locate in a middle of beach road and main road. The road at the front of the hotel is very narrow and full of rainwater when it rained. So, my legs are always soaked! Be careful in Rainy season.
Regarding with the room,I stayed at studio room. It is clean enough, but noisy because the window canoot be locked completely. The shower is good, hot water. However, you need to bring your own staffs such as shampoo and soaps.
It is ok to stay for sleep.
- Joel Chia (JC) (6/5): 22-25.07.15 Chinese, Malaysian - Pros
1. Nearby White Beach Front (est 100m)
2. Helpful & Friendly staff
3. Clean & no smoking/odour room
Cons
1. Air conditioning not cool enough
2. Need floor mats for wet legs
3. Breakfast is awful and no varieties
- Mico and Nathan (8/5): Good value for money - Apart from the flood that frequent outside the hotel due to small rains, the hotel is nice, comfortable and clean. It is much quieter despite the busy life of Boracay outside. It gives value to privacy and comfort. The first room we were given had broken door locks but the management was kind enough to transfer us to a better room. The plus was our room had a balcony that allowed us to see Boracay from above. Hotel staff were kind and all smiles. They were eager as well to help us plan our Boracay activities for no extra charge. We had a pleasant stay. Will definitely come back.
- Tiffany (4/5): Feedback about Eurotel hotel - A lot of ants in the room, the shower heater is not hot.
Hotel corridor is leaking during rainy days.
Outside hotel will flood quite serious too during rainy days.
- Derek (4/5): Find a better hotel somewhere else - When We got there the hotel didn't have my reservation so I had to e-mail it to them from my phone. Our room was poor for a suite, musty smell, dirty bed sheets and not very nice. On the plus side we asked to be changed and was no problem. The breakfast the next morning was dreadful, nothing on the buffet only plated if not included I would have been upset paying 170php.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Our room was face to the main road , it was very noisy from early in the morning until midnight ! Breakfast very limited choices !
- Verified traveler (6/5): Impressive smile at the receptionist - There is pretty nice receptionist, although the room quite small, but very clean inside, and eurotel quite convenience, just 2min walk to beach
- Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointed - during a 2 day stay there was no hot water. I told the staff but nothing who said they would fix it but never did. I put the sign out requesting the room be cleaned but they never cleaned it. They only allow one key per room to be shared with your spouse. This means that you cannot leave the aircon on when you step out. With temperatures in the high 30s it takes some time to bring the room temperature back down to a comfortable level. The breakfast included fried spam instead of ham, powdered juice and toast that was not toasted, just warmed. The mattress is cheap foam, it does not make for a comfortable sleep. There is a number provided in the room you can text if you have any problems. We texted regarding the lack of hot water but never received a response
- Verified traveler (8/5): Over all - Over all it's ok but I don't think it's value for money seems that rate are almost the same with other near front view hotels.
- Edwin (6/5): Close to the beach.. - The key card failed to open the door. A friendly staff gave me a hard key but one time it failed to open. I manage to open it though... Service staffs use the same small elevator but probably no big deal to people who likes to use the stairs. Free breakfast is not that bad.
- Rick (8/5): Great room for a couple - Our room was the studio and would be great for a couple that didn't spend much time in the room as it was small but very nice. I didn't see any of the problems that others have complained about. Only a short walk to the beach, staff very accommodating and everything worked good in the room. The breakfast wasn't the greatest but hey it was free and better than coffee and pastries like most provide here in the USA.
- Rick (8/5): nice size room , short walk to the beach - We stayed in the Euro Suite Two and even with the extra roll away beds added had plenty of room to move around and visit.A very short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We didn't notice any of the negatives posted in other reviews. Would definitely consider this hotel again, a great room for the price.
- Sam (4/5): Better bring extra quilt .... - Quilt provided thiner than my pajamas! Cleaning only done when request!
The only good thing about eurotel is their location.
- Francois (10/5): Awesome experience - I think this place was really awesome. I expected a lot less so it really exceeded expectations for the price I paid. Location is brilliant, close to awesome restaurants and touristy things to do. Was very quiet, hotel staff was friendly all the time, 24 hours service and even the kitchen is available 24 hours. Breakfast was amazing and served from 6-10am every day.
