- Courtney (7/5): This room was just what I needed - we arrived on some miscommunication. I didnt have a room the manager quickly took care of things. everything was great. Except when I went into the room I slipped on water that was leaking from a brick of ice in the freezer. But other than that the stay was lovely and so was the staff. Also the shower was weird and hard to close. I loved the shower pressure and temperature. The room was nice and clean. The staff was pleasant to me.

- Michael (6/5): A mid-level hotel priced more like an elegant one. Conveniently located if you need to do things in the north Jackson - It was conveniently located to where I needed to be during our stay. Getting to the place, however, was a bit difficult because, from the street, there is no signage. Staff were friendly and the lounge and dining area were clean and tidy. The bed was fairly comfortable as were the pillows. The air conditioning unit was loud and made obnoxious scratching sounds often on during the night. The bathroom showed signs of a rush job during construction. There was zero turn down service between the first and second nights. Bed was not made, place was not picked up and more importantly, things like coffee cups and Coffee/creamer were not replaced. The in-room coffee maker itself was pretty lousy and made a cup of brown water that could not be consumed.

- davidbryand2019 (10/5): Home Away From Home - I have been at the Home2 in Ridgeland, MS since June 2025 for work and I have been very happy with my stay. The location is very safe, quiet and convenient. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. The inside, outside and amenities are kept clean. The laundry has always worked perfectly. They have installed new grills which are really nice and high quality. It has been a great home away from home which is why I will continue to stay for a few more months until my project comes to an end toward the end of year.

We got clean towels when needed. The night clerk helped us replace a burned out light bulb. I informed the desk of the burned out light. We were gone all day and it was not replaced. The phone had no cord and therefore didn't work when I wanted to report the burned out light. That was not corrected during our stay.

We did get extra towels. The other concern was the toilet lid was loose, and we were unable to tighten the screws underneath the lid. Lastly for the room, the pillows were not very comfortable. - Chasta (8/5): - Booked this room because we were passing through to a destination and wanted to break up the trip time. I selected this one because it said they have a charging station on site, but they do NOT. Overall the stay wasn't bad with a few issues. No tv remote in the room but was resolved by the front desk clerk. Parts of the floor felt damp, the shampoo that is normally attached to the shower was not so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. It was pricey for the stay and breakfast was 2 hours behind. It said breakfast started at 6am but it was almost 8am before it was avaliable.

- Pamela (4/5): - Lobby looked nice but the floor was filthy. The elevator was dirty and floor sticky. Carpet needs cleaning or replacing. To say this is suppose to be a better hotel chain, I’m really disappointed.

- Candice (6/5): - The Staff was very good, however, the room we first got was not. There were dead bugs all around the frame of the bed which we didn't see right when we checked in. Traveled with friends so we spent time in their room and then came back up to ours which is when we found the issues. They evidently have a ladybug problem coming into the windows and there was a lot of them in our first room, including a dead cockroach. There was also no bath gel in the shower so they might have a housekeeping issue. We requested another room and Felicia was super accommodating. The 2nd room still had one dead & one moving but not nearly as many dead ones as the first room. I'm not sure I would stay there again due to those issues. Changing rooms at 10 pm is no fun; I asked about compensation but was told because I booked thru a 3rd party that wasn't possible. I think they could have at least took the $75 dog fee off due to the poor housekeeping, but I was still charged for that. I've stayed at Home2Suites before and have not had this issue. I don't believe I would stay at the Jackson/Ridgeland location again.

- Tamehra (6/5): Could be better with your house keeping staff - I did not like the house keepers knocking on the doors early in the morning I understand they have a job to do but keep the noise and bumping down to a minimum please we were trying to rest until check out. Check out time was 12pm they knocked on our door at 9:30am 10:30am we weren’t even ready to go we just left at 11:00am because of the knocking and noise. 10 out of 10 I would give a 4. Late lastnight around 12am we heard kids jumping and beating on the wall. The whole point of me and my son having a night out alone was to get away from everyone at home. We get to the hotel to hear so much noise.
- Marilyn (7/5): Good - The full-size refrigerator was a plus. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was not desirable and catered to heath nuts. After I got settled in my room, my family and I attempted to warm some food. We discovered that the microwave was not working. We had to pack up everything and move to another room that had a working microwave. This was a huge inconvenience to encounter on Christmas Eve. We deserve a free night

- Christopher (2/5): HORRIBLE STAY!!! - One of the worst stays I have ever had at any property. I woke up the next morning with no water to flush the toilet, shower or brush my teeth. I checked with the front desk and they are aware that there are issues with low water pressure or no water at all from time to time. They didn’t apologize or offer me any type of compensation. I have stayed at this property multiple times before and never encountered this type of problem or attitude from the staff. I reached out to Hotels.com for assistance and they tried to contact the manager, NO RESPONSE! I travel to the area several times a year for business meetings and will never stay there again! I will also let my colleagues know of this situation and lack of response!
