Guest Reviews
- Konečný (4/5): If you are not a bug fan on temples then don’t try it - People were nice Food was disappointing
My to měli téměř dvakrát dražší než obvykle v jiný - Poklidný krásný klášter, zajímavé jídlo, skvělé prostory, velký pokoj, krásné zahrady, skvělá lokalita Špatná angličtina, nebylo jim moc rozumět.
Vswchny ceremoniály vedl velmi mladý mnich a bylo to spíše rozpačitější. Viděli jsme ohňový ceremoniál nedaleko v jiném klášteře, kde zpívalo více mnichů, hráli na bubny a další nástroje a bylo to magické oproti tomuto spíše velmi komornímu provedení.

- Shabbir (6/5): -
- Gustavo (8/5): -
- Gloria (9/5): Great temple stay experience at Koyasan - Superb temple stay experience in Koyasan, we loved staying here and experience the temple activities. The room was lovely and futons and bed quite comfy. Bathrooms are shared so this might be a limit/difficulty for some. Breakfast wasn’t as good as the dinner
- Paula (7/5): - Una experiencia interesante.
- Bernd (9/5): - Freundlicher Empfang.
- Thorsten (8/5): Ein besonderer Ort.
- Louis (9/5): -
- Patrick (7/5): - Ervaring, ochtendritueel Het eten.
- Tijl (10/5): Ondergedompeld in boedhistische sfeer. - De rust, de totale beleving. Niets.
- Anja (1/5): -
- Jeny (10/5): -
- sidonie (10/5): -
- Reibel Yann (10/5): -
Ik heb me zeer welkom gevoeld.
- Antonio (10/5): -
- Christine (10/5): -
- Fiona (9/5): -
- Winzeler (10/5): -
- Iva (10/5): -
- Julia (10/5): Deeply moving, once in a lifetime experience. - Historic and atmospheric, very spiritual. Wonderful, kind staff. Amazing vegetarian temple food. Everything feels authentic and deeply treasured.
- Steffi (10/5): -
- Kristian SLO (10/5): -
- Dominik (10/5): - This is a really special place on the earth.
- Lorna (9/5): -
No hablan inglés casi nada.
Niente
- Thomas (10/5): -
- Debbie (9/5): Unique opportunity to participate in temple traditions. - Amazing opportunity to stay in a temple. Lovely onsen and wonderful opportunity to participate in ceremonies. We were received with Grace and courtesy and loved the tradition of the whole experience. A little more information on the ceremonies and what to expect and maybe a few words on the temple itself and temple life would have added to the stay. Loved walking around the cemetery.
- Daiva (10/5): -
- Clifford (10/5): - Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing
- Jesse (9/5): -
- Ana (10/5): - The experience is very nice, everything is well planned and works smoothly
- María Cristina (10/5): -
- ELise (9/5): - I like the localisation, the activities and the food was good Nothing
- Sotirios (10/5): -
- Chanemouga (10/5): - The monks' hospitality and cuisine provide an incredible experience. Nothing
- Nette (8/5): -
- Franziska (10/5): Tolles Erlebnis!
- Alannah (10/5): -
- Justine (10/5): - Amazing opportunity to see the monk traditions and lifestyle of Koyasan.
- Karin (10/5): -
- Lina (10/5): -
- Jeh Tzu (10/5): -
Merci Rien
- Isabel (9/5): Beautiful spot with a unique experience and great hosts - Wonderful atmosphere and great food It was very, very cold due to the structure of the building
- Giuseppe Daniele (10/5): -
- Rok (10/5): -
- AKEMI (10/5): -
- Joshua (10/5): Temple Stay should be on everyone's list - Most interesting place i have ever stayed...amazing location, cleanliness, and service. Private bed room with shared bathrooms. Communal dinning experience on tatami. Nothing.
- Lin (9/5): - Close to everything I want to visit Experience was really good, staff are very kind
- Kateřina (9/5): -
- Aurel (10/5): -
- Benji (8/5): -
- Ana (10/5): Wonderful - Very traditional place and clean No coments
- Beatrice (9/5): -
- Andrés (10/5): Perfect. You must to do it. - The place was amazing. Some of the monks speaks English. nothing, everything perfect. I've read some comments about the food... dude, you are in a temple, is not McDonald's. Please...
- Hannah (8/5): -
- Brendan (9/5): Nice experience, great food, okay value for money - The dinner and breakfast were delicious, varied and so well presented. The staff were super friendly and explained everything well. The onsen was lovely, as were the various prayers and ceremonies we got to experience It does get very cold at night around the temple, and it was a fairly pricey stay for what it was
- Junji (9/5): -
- Matthew (7/5): - Fantastic, attentive service offered by the Monks as soon as you step through the door with a matcha and sweet treat. They are always on hand to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I found the evening dinner and breakfast really nice with plenty of variety. The room was very comfy and a warm escape from the freezing corridors. The whole experience is of a guesthouse run by Monks for tourists, not of a running temple allowing tourists inside. The meditation/ morning ceremony/ fire ceremony was conducted by one monk solely for the outside tourists. There wasn't much explanation at all about what the ceremonies were for- the meditation was just two bangs of a gong to signify the start and end. Even a small bit of literature placed in the room about the different ceremonies would make people more clued up about what was going on. That said, I still really enjoyed this experience- its more for a glimpse into some parts of Buddhism in a tourist setting, not for anyone looking for a serious experience in Zen Buddhism.
- Adrianna (10/5): -
- Bourdoux (10/5): 1 expérience unique - Expérience unique, hors du temps.
Temple sublime, nourriture incroyable, calme, spiritualité. Rien
- Kentaro (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): A little pricey, but totally worth it - Bus stop nearby. The stay included a dinner and a breakfast, which were both vegetarian and delicious. The room was spacious, reliable AC, and the staff made our beds. We received Yukatas during our stay. We were allowed to use the onsen in the temple with tattoos. It was a special experience witnessing the meditation and the morning ceremony, and being able to stay in a temple in general.
- Yu Han (10/5): -
