- Patrik (7/5): Krásna príroda, avšak nie je to 5 hviezdičkový rezort - Skvelé raňajky a okolie. Ubytovanie je v kopci, majú dokonca vlastnú lanovku. Krásna pláž, bazény aj ležadlá. Celkovo miesto budí veľmi dobrý dojem. Rozhodne to nie je 5 hviezdičkový rezort. Kvalita izieb je odlišná. Nábytok potrebuje renováciu. Personál nevie dobre po anglicky, resp. vie len to, čo hovoria každý deň. Akonáhle sa stane niečo čo nečakajú, nevedia odpovedať. Klimatizačné jednotky vyzerajú veľmi zle.

The room was great — very clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The overall atmosphere made the stay very enjoyable and relaxing. - Ella (9/5): - Väga hea hommikusöök, lai valik erinevaid toite ja imeline vaade restoranist. Tuba oli suur ja WC oli minu jaoks kõige suurem üllatus (prilllaud oli soojendusega, pimedas süttis potis tuli, erinevad pesu funktsioonid). Ahvid olid ka väga vahvad keda korduvalt hotelli territooriumil nägime. Hotelli alal liikumiseks tuldi järgi golfi autoga ja viidi soovitavasse punkti (toast receptionisse näiteks). Hotelli alal liikumiseks oli veel ka kondel mida sai kasutatud hommikusöögile minekuks. Hotell on ehitatud mäe jalamile ja jalgsi hommikusöögile näiteks jalutada oleks olnud väga raske kuna meie tuba oli mere ääres ja seega erinevad liikumise võimalused hotelli poolt olid väga super lahendus. Rolleri rentisime ka hotelli kaudu ja toodi meile receptionisse kohale, seal samas saime tagastada ka. Kui peaksin midagi välja tooma siis võibolla selle hotelli asukoht. Ta küll oli väge lähedal Kai Bae keskusele aga siiski jala sinna ei läheks. Hotell pakkus küll tasuta transporti sinna 3 korda päevas aga kellaajad olid sellised, et meie seda ei kasutanudki kuna läksime õhtust sööma alati alles peale päikese loojangut. Kasutasime taksot mis polnud ka kallis, 50 bahti inimese kohta.

- Ella (10/5): Incredible, cannot wait to come back! - Loved this resort! Such a beautiful resort with friendly staff. 2 pools and a beautiful beach, loved the restaurant too. Had a cable car to take you from the beach/restaurant all the way to the top where the clifftop rooms are. Breakfast was also lovely - loved the man at the omelette station, he was so friendly. Also got to kayak to the other surrounding islands which was beautiful. Spa was also lovely. They have a shuttle bus which takes you to the main village for 7/11, restaurants and shops. Would also recommend getting a scooter if you’d like to explore a bit more without trying to order taxis. Overall amazing experience! We were made aware of the monkeys, they weren’t that bad/noticeable, just make sure you lock your balcony and main door!

Fantastisk indrettet og der var kræset for alle detaljer i villaen. Personalet var fantastisk og yderst imødekommende og hjælpsomme Vi følte os meget forkælet og alt fungerede perfekt. De havde små golfvogne som kørte os rundt på hotelområdet og en shuttlebus som kunne køre os de få kilometer ind til den nærliggende by. Priser på events og happy hour var ikke til at finde ud af. De kunne godt have informeret mere omkring fordelene/ekstras i forbindelse med pool villaen.

- Michael (8/5): - Das Hotel geht auf individuelle Bedürfnisse ein und ermöglicht diese nach Möglichkeit. Das gesamte Hotelareal ist sehr gepflegt. Der Garten mit seinen Aussichten grossartig. Ich werde gerne wieder Gast sein. Die Räume sind verhältnismässig hellhörig. Liegt aber überwiegend an den Gästen.

We had a beautiful modern room with a bathtub and a pool/sea view. There are stunning views from breakfast restaurant and the breakfast itself is a true feast with hundreds of options. We used the spa as well; did facial, 3x massage and sauna and it was all truly serene and great quality. We also enjoyed renting a kayak and going to a small island nearby. It’s one of these places that I will reminisce for years - a little paradise to come back. Did I mention we saw hornbills? N/a
- Helmut (6/5): - Die Anlage liegt an einem Hang der einem Dschungel angepasst ist. Schöner Strand. Zimmer sind hellhörig. Im Nebenzimmer war eine Familie mit sehr lauten Kindern untergebracht. Für ruhesuchende Pärchen nicht geeignet. Frühstückraum hatte von der geräuschkulisse einen Kantinencharakter. Für ein 5Sterne Hotel hatte, unserer Meinung nach, die Qualität der Speisen nicht die nötige Auswahl. Viele russische Gäste bei denen sich besonders beim Obst die Teller extrem füllten.

- hipeejay2014 (8/5): Great stay in Koh Chang - There's a lot to love about this resort. On a huge piece of mountainous land, it's set on it's own very nice beach. There's a choice of rooms close to the beach and pool or higher up with a panoramic view of the sea. Although it accommodates many guests there was always enough sun lounges by the beach and pool for everybody. Breakfast is served at the top of the resort and there's a funicular to take you or even better a call to reception will have a cart collect and transport you there. We were impressed how quickly the cars always came. Breakfast is very good with lots of options which change every day. Also the breakfast room itself is modern and well designed with an incredible view of the sea. A bonus was that a few times whilst enjoying breakfast the magnificent Great Hornbill birds made an appearance on the large tree next to the restaurant. We only had dinner once in house and it was good but preferred to take a songthaew taxi (easily arranged by reception) into the nearby town and enjoy one of the numerous restaurants to be found there. We chose a deluxe beachfront room and it was modern and comfortable. A couple of negatives ... wi-fi very patchy with lots of drop outs and I was amazed when I asked for ice to be sent to the room and was told it would cost 90 Bht (did not proceed). I've never been asked to pay for ice ever. The Sylvan though is a great choice for a stay in Koh Chang and is highly recommended.

A környéken Tukanok, és majmok akik néha a nyitott teraszajtón besurrannak a szobába egy kis csemege reményében…. Az étterem 2-3szorosa árban a városban lévőknél így szinte mindenki kimegy vacsorázni a helyi éttermekbe. Megérkezésünkkor valami probléma volt az áramhálózattal a szállodában, sűrűn elment az áram . A fürdőszobában a sötétben levertem a fogmosó poharat , ki akartak velem fizettetni a 25Bat- os Poharat 100 Bat-ért… A Fürdőkádnál furdősó és fürdő bomba volt elhelyezve amit elhasználtunk. Távozáskor 550. Bat-ot számoltak fel érte ami viszont sehol nem volt feltüntetve, hogy fizetős lenne.. A kis városi busz a szállodából csak 2 szer megy naponta a centrumba, illetve odafelé 3szor. Az utolsó 4 körül megy és jön vissza…. A tengerparton 20perc séta.

Very clean and well kept 10/10 Although the breakfast was very adequate, not a lot of the hot food matched to make a meal. A bit mix and match but still really good. Did not like that the prime seating on the breakfast balcony could be reserved by some guests!!

- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful resort built into the rainforest cliff that links beautifully to the beach. Kayaking was really spectacular! S - We absolutely loved this hotel and all the different options on offer from Beach to Pool chilling and island hopping. We loved being in the rainforest seeing the beautiful Great hornbills and monkeys in there habitat that linked with ours. The funicular is a perfect way to support guests making the most of the resort and also the unlimited complimentary buggy service in the resort. There is a hotel shuttle to town with specific drop off and collection times for traveler’s to fell fully confidence in exploring for a small price that a taxi would cost 50 baht 👏 The only recommendation I would make is the need for more lighting walking from our room past the pool near beach,to the dining room in the evening it was very dark and without my mobile phone light I really would of struggled……

- Michele (10/5): Wir haben uns hier mit Abstand am wohlsten bisher gefühlt. Top Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und es war definitiv mehr - - unglaubliche Aussicht bei den Clifftop Zimmern. Manche habe allerdings Bäume davor, vor allem in den unteren Zimmern - Wunderschöne Anlage. Viel Natur, 2 richtig gute Pools, bestmögliches Frühstück - ruhig gelegen - Gutes Gym - Nashornvögel auf dem Gelände - man kann mit dem Cablecar hochfahren oder Caddy - sauber - ohne Roller etwas weit zu der walking street - Internet war nicht stabil - die unglaubliche Aussicht kam zu einem Preis: Ganz oben, direkt unter dem Frühstücksraum. Das Stühlerücken ab 07:00 Uhr war massiv und selbst mit Ohrstöpseln nicht zu überhören.

- Benita (10/5): Alle burde unne seg en natt eller to her! - Et imponerende hotell med jungel i mellom bygningene. Fantastisk frokost og nydelig rom! Bratt terreng, men vi ble hentet av golfbiler, eller tok banen (Funicular). Fra terrassen vår fikk vi se sjeldne fugler, slik som Great Hornbills🤩 Vi kommer definitivt tilbake! Alt var perfekt!

- Michel (10/5): À refaire très prochainement j’espère….! - En 10 ans j’ai pas mal fait plusieurs hôtels en Thaïlande et ce resort est sûrement de loin un des meilleurs endroits pour relaxer! Les employés sont vraiment dédier envers les clients et se soucie de notre bien être. Les préposés à l’accueil sont vraiment sympathiques et efficaces. Je recommande vivement cet endroits merveilleux!! Lors de ma prochaine visite c’est certain que je reviendrai au même endroit. Over the past 10 years, I have stayed in many hotels in Thailand, and this resort is definitely one of the best places to relax. The staff are truly dedicated to their guests and genuinely care about their well-being. The reception team is very friendly, welcoming, and efficient. I highly recommend this wonderful place to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I will definitely come back here on my next visit. Tout était parfait !
- Suvi (9/5): Hinta-laatusuhteelta erinomainen hotelli - Todella hieno kokemus ja hyvä tasoinen hotelli. Hotelli oli rauhallinen, uima-altaat hyväkuntoiset ja sopi sekä lapsille että aikuisille. Ranta oli upea. Vuoroveden takia veden korkeus vaihtelee paljon tällä rannalla. Hauska retki kajakilla lähisaarelle. Palvelu oli hyvää. Kannattaa soittaa ja pyytää golfauto hakemaan paikasta toiseen, toimii nopeasti. Apinat ja keisarinokka-linnut olivat upeita Suoranaisesti ei ollut puutteita. Perhehuoneessa olisi voinut olla huonekaluja, esim. sohvapöytä ja sohvatuoli, jotta olisi ollut viihtyisämpi. Säilytystilaa olisi myös voinut olla enemmän neljän henkilön tavaroille. Sijainti hieman sivussa kaupoista, mutta taksi tuli nopeasti kun pyysi tilaamaan vastaanotosta. Rantaa pitkin pääsi kävellen laskuveden aikaan.

- Marcus (10/5): Perfekter Aufenthalt - Alles. Ganz tolles Resort. Wir waren im neuen Gebäude untergebracht was ich sehr empfehlen kann. Die Mitarbeiter sind durchweg alle sehr nett und lächeln immer. Großes Lob an alle Nichts
- Romy (10/5): Perfekter Ort für einen perfekten Urlaub - Das Sylvan war unser letzter Stop nach 10 Wochen Thailand und wir wollten einfach noch einmal einen traumhaften Abschluss. Es war mit Abstand das Teuerste Hotel, aber auch das Beste! Wir hatten den perfekten Aufenthalt und hätten gerne noch verlängert! Affen, Elefanten, Hormbills, 2 super Pools. Das essen beim Frühstück wie auch im Restaurant sind großartig. Ansonsten kann man auch günstiger im nahegelegenen Ort essen. Es ist ein besonderer Ort. Jederzeit wieder! Personal immer nett und hilfsbereit, der ganze Ort ist so gepflegt und trotzdem hat man das Gefühl in der Natur zu sein. Kleine Abstriche beim Putzdienst, leere Flaschen und Dosen wurden nicht mitgenommen. Was ich nicht verstehe ist die HandtuchPolitik. Es wird darum gebeten, dass man die Handtücher auf dem Halter lässt, wenn man sie mehrfach benutzen möchte. Gute Idee, um wenigstens ein wenig Arbeit und Ressourcen zu sparen. Nur dass die Handtücher trotzdem jeden Tag komplett gewechselt wurden. Nicht verstanden.
- Jaakko (10/5): Fantastic Resort in the jungle. - The premises were absolutely stunning. All the way from the beach and to the hills were our room was. A true relaxed Resort gem hidden in the jungle. Food and the service was fantastic. The staff members were all great. We never had to wait long for: Room service, ordering food to upper pool or staff giving us a lift with the golf car. Everything was clean and tidy. I thought that i would never say this. But i will return to Sylvan if i come to Ko Chang The bed could be updated.

- Sabrina (1/5): Völlig überteuert, man braucht hier um von A nach B zu kommen ein Fahrrad wobei es steil Berg auf geht. - Leider nichts Als Europär ist man hier komplett fehl am Platz..Der Strand ist eine absolute Katastrophe, wer Badeurlaub sucht ist hier leider fehl am Platz.

- Joanna (8/5): Na kolejny pobyt na Koh Chang szukałabym innego hotelu - Widok z tarasu zachwycający 1. Bardzo słaby internet 2. W pokoju śmierdziało kanalizą 3.Śniadania to duży minus !! Kawa nie dobra , soki z kartonów słodzone a stoliki na tarasie z widokiem non stop wszystkie zarezerwowane i nawet podczas naszego długiego ,ponad tygodniowego pobytu nie udało nam się usiać a przychodziliśmy o różnych godzinach .To było wkurzające !!! Dodatkowo płatne były !!! Kajaki , zabawki do Piasku dla dzieci , lepsza kawa czy sok Ze świeżych owoców . W 5 * hotelu to powinno być to w cenie pobytu!!
