Hugo (10/5): Het is tot rust komen in Le Cheval Blanc, perfect gelegen om Safi al wandelend te ontdekken. - De naam van de Riad is zichtbaar vanaf de zeeboulevard. Het is er zeer mooi en aangenaam om te verblijven. Het ontbijt voldoet ruim en wordt helemaal bovenaan in de Riad geserveerd, met uitzicht op de haven en het plein buiten de ommuring. We bestelden er ook een goed diner. De auto kan op wandelafstand lanqs de zeeboulevard geparkeerd worden mits je de parkeerwachter een rechtmatige fooi geeft. Niets. De historische vesting van Safi was 6 maanden geleden overgeleverd aan de krachten van de natuur, het werd getroffen door een overstroming die het leven heeft gekost aan 37 inwoners. De hoofdstraat binnen de ommuring wordt heraangelegd. Men hoopt klaar te zijn tegen de zomervakantie.

ISABELLE (9/5): Très bien et très instructif dans cette ville qui a subi les inondations et a perdu des citoyens. - La décoration simple mais très efficace, des livres et des jeux à disposition. J’aurais aimé dormir dans une chambre sans entrées de lumière, pour dormir plus longuement pendant le week-end.
Susanne (10/5): Vier Nächte in Safi - Madame Amal hat uns ebenso herzlich wie traditionell mit etwas Orangenblütenwasser für die Hände begrüßt und uns dann unser Zimmer im zweiten Stock gezeigt. Wir hatten Hilfe mit dem Gepäck. Danach ging es auf die Dachterrasse mit herrlichem Ausblick auf das Meer (und das Phosphatwerk 😉) sowie dem Frühstücksraum. Das Riad wurde aufwändig restauriert und mit traditionellen Möbeln ausgestattet. Die Betten waren bequem und unser Sonderwunsch zu den Bettdecken wurde erfüllt. Im Badezimmer eine große Duschwanne mit Vorhang und sehr guter Temperatur und Wasserdruck. Das Wlan ist super 👍 Das Frühstück war reichlich und lecker und wurde meist von Madame Hania zubereitet und serviert. Es gab jeden Tag eine andere Brotsorte und verschiedenes Gebäck, außerdem Omelett bzw. Spiegelei, leckere Msemen und verschiedene Aufstriche, dazu Kaffee oder Tee und Orangensaft Die Medina von Safi befindet sich nach den verheerenden Überschwemmungen vom Dezember im Wiederaufbau. Durch die Bauarbeiten ist es natürlich nicht schön dort, aber wir wussten davon und hatten uns entschieden, deshalb nicht zu stornieren. Rund um die Altstadt geht das Leben weiter und die meisten Menschen sind fröhlich. Das Phosphatwerk und die Werksbahn sind laut und staubig. Wer sich daran stört, sollte vielleicht besser die Tourismusorte ansteuern. Wir hatten einen interessanten Aufenthalt in Safi und bewerten das Riad mit 10 von 10 😊

isabelle (10/5): excellent souvenir de cette nuit passée au Riad le cheval blanc. Très envie d'y revenir un jour. - Ce superbe Riad est bien situé en plein coeur de la ville de Safi. Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et est servi dans une pièce qui jouxte une terrasse (plantes, table et chaises et chaises longues). Vue de cette pièce sur l'océan Atlantique. Les chambres ont toutes leur drapeau suivant la nationalité de ses occupants. Chouette idée. Chambres très confortables, bien décorées et très fonctionnelles. Personnel charmant et à l'écoute. Franchement, je ne vois pas.

The place is so beautiful, the bathroom, the hall, the room is decorated with tiles/mosaics. The various sitting places/lounges are so lovely decorated. A must stay if you are at Safi. None in particular. Except need to drag bags/luggages through small alleyways.

Marco (10/5): Top Unterkunft - Das war mit Abstand das schönste Riad unserer gesamten Reise! Der Weg dorthin durch die Gassen macht das Erlebnis nur noch authentischer. Parken sehr einfach an der Hauptstrasse. Super sauber, sehr nettes Personal und leckeres Frühstück. Absolute Empfehlung!!!

Mauri.joy (10/5): La migliore in assoluto - Tutto quanto perfetto, dalla signora che attende i clienti, molto premurosa ed educata, alla struttura arredata con cura e fantasia. In assoluto il migliore che abbia mai trovato. Acqua calda, condizionatori silenziosi, stanze profumate, biancheria profumata e cassaforte di sicurezza. Il parcheggio è sulla strada appena fuori dalla Medina, ma controllato da due signori che di notte mi hanno anche coperto la moto con un telo. Il Riad erge tra le altre casette e la sala da pranzo ha la vista sulla città e soprattutto sull'oceano, spettacolo! Nulla, tutto perfetto.

Tom (8/5): schönes authentisches Riad - Sehr authentisches und schönes typisch marokkanisches Riad. Sehr sehr nettes Personal. Sehr gutes traditionelles Frühstück (bestes Mesmen was wir im gesamten Urlaub gegessen haben). Die Klimaanlage hat nicht richtig funktioniert, deshalb war es relativ kalt (und etwas feucht) im Zimmer. Die kleine Gasse direkt vor der Türe war schon etwas gruselig, aber ist nur ganz kurz, und die Leute scheinen nett zu sein.

Giuseppe (7/5): OTTIMO RIAD ALLE PORTE DELLA MEDINA DI SAFI - Struttura molto bella alle porte della Medina di Safi e vicino al porto ed al castello. Nonostante i danni subiti dalla Medina per la recente alluvione, abbiamo trovato un ambiente accogliente e persone molto cordiali che si sono prodigate per far si che la nostra vacanza fosse speciale. La camera era comfortevole, calda e ben arredata. La colazione in terrazza, nonostante il brutto tempo, era allestita in una stanza chiusa e riscaldata e ci hanno preparato tanta roba sia dolce che salata, di buona qualità. nulla

Milena (8/5): Dieses Riad würden wir definitiv noch einmal buchen - Sehr zentral gelegen zum Meer und direkt in der Altstadt. Hinweisschilder führen direkt zum Riad. Weg dorthin ist beleuchtet. Sehr nettes Personal und sauberes Zimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich. Von der Dachterrasse sieht man aufs Meer. Konnte nichts negatives finden.

Unica segnalazione: il 15 dicembre 2025 c’è stata una violenta alluvione in cui sono morte molte persone e la città portava ancora pesanti segni a fine dicembre. Consiglio di attendere ad andare a Safi ancora per qualche mese
