- DorsetMichael (10/5): Spectacular Golf Hotel - This hotel and golf course just has to be seen to be believed, it is absolutely spectacular. From the staff, the bedroom and balcony, bar, dinner (we’re on half board) breakfast it’s all excellent but the golf course is sensational. We’re only here for two nights so just played the course the once but it is a really enjoyable course, quite up and down so I’d recommend a buggy unless you’re super fit and very young and the views from the course across the lake are breathtaking.

Beautiful grounds but a lot of the surrounding buildings on the property look desolate Breakfast buffet very minimal, not replenished and not worth the high price for it
- stuartgr2016 (6/5): Complete missed opportunity! - Drove from Lisbon to arrive on the island, a beautiful and grand arrival sequence crossing the causeway on a tree lined avenue. So! Was expecting more from the hotel overall. The welcome was very average as well as the rooms, amenities and service (with exception of one young lady in the restaurant). The hotel commands a fantastic position, although poorly oriented, against an impressive lake, however there is no access to the lakeside, we tried but ended up walking over builders debris. The general condition of the building and definitely the landscape was very poor. The pool was closed despite the temperature being 35 degrees when we arrived. The surrounding villas have been vandalized and the place is generally a complete mess. It is such a huge shame because this place and hotel could be absolutely outstanding, but unfortunately isn’t anywhere near what its position demands.

Hotel was nice enough but we went expecting a lovely pool etc but it is in need of repair. How does this hotel get a trip advisor award in 2024 when the last review was in 2023 😱 just needs updating and remove the pool etc

Hotel moderno, habitaciones con terraza con muy buenas vistas, camas muy comodas. La piscina ideal. La comida del restaurante muy buena. Una pena que el pantano tuviera poca agua, pero dada la sequia que hay, es de esperar.

A very quiet environment, the hotel shares the isle with a private community of villas, there are parts that are not accessible to the hotel guests but you can access the beach via lift. Some areas are a little run down (abandoned building project around the beach and some abandoned private villas) but is not related to the hotel. Hotel is well-kept and nicely furnished, the views of the beach from the bar/cafeteria and restaurant are excellent, the food is acceptable. Will return.

- Daniel (8/5): - La zona de la piscina está muy descuidada. El interior de la piscina está desconchado e incluso es molesto a la planta del pie. Una pena que no se conserven y mantengan correctamente las instalaciones porque el entorno es bonito. La playa prácticamente no existe y no se permite el baño. Sin embargo, el personal es muy atento y el hotel en general esta bien.

- Brnensky (6/5): A private luxury golfers-oriented semi-island that has seen its better days - Well, I got a good price deal, so why not? Otherwise, I would not pay more than $80 a night for sure. Rooms are rather basic with paper cups, dated furniture and lots of flies (hell knows where they come from, but I had to chase and kill at least five-six flies each day). Breakfast is depressing with the only hot meal option being fried eggs and fried bacon. Also, quite a large part of this private semi-island is a kind of half-finished construction work with all the related garbage and things. Looks like they ran out of money just before the COVID crisis...

- Muldr4Scly (10/5): Luxurious relaxing stay on a private island! - We stayed here for one night. Luxury hotel on its own little private island. Gated entrance. Lovely relaxing decor for a spa hotel. We loved our twin room which was two beds together, bigger than a double. The room has a table, chair, desk and suitcase rack as well as fridge and cupboard space. Soft pillows, comfy bed. Towels had the hotel name on them. Slippers with the hotel name in the bathroom. Air conditioning was a bit loud but did a good job so all good. No noise from neighbouring rooms. Views of the water. We had breakfast at the hotel buffet. There were many hot and cold options. Each food type had its own area. Fruits, cereals, ham, cheese, pancakes and pastries, toast, jam and pate, tea and coffee, with many options in each area. It is well worth including breakfast in your booking. Checkout was quick and easy. We hired mountain bikes and explored the island. Also we tried out paddle tennis which was a lot of fun!

La cocina es muy buena, si bien, la ensaladilla rusa, no estaba en buen estado. Falta conseguir mayor limpieza en las almohadas, que conservaban cierto olor a sudor. Tuve que pedir nuevas, las cuales el personal de noche, proveyó con mucha amabilidad.
- FRANCISCO (10/5): Fantastica estancia piscina y golf cerca de Madrid - Ha sido un fantástica estancia en hotel con muy buenas instalaciones de piscinas y playa artificial con su buen chiriguito como si estuvieras de verdad en la playa! Una pena el nivel tan bajo de agua este año en embalse Valdecañas. Entorno precioso y gran campo de golf muy bien cuidado e interesante, con vistas muy interesantes en todo el recorrdio. Muy recomendable escapadas a hora y media de Madrid. Una pena este parado todo el crecimiento por las demandas de los ecologistas...
- MANUEL (10/5): - Pasamos un día estupendo. Tanto el trato recibido como la habitación fueron inmejorables , y el bufete del desayuno de lujo. Unas piscinas fabulosas. Lo único que el pantano en ese momento tenía poca agua y no pudimos disfrutarlo. El resto del entorno muy tranquilo para pasear incluso en bici que puedes alquilar en el hotel.

The staff was helpful and attentive. For non-golfers the 7 mms perimeter walk around the island, wearing sturdy footwear, is a must.

El entorno muy tranquilo, para descansar y disfrutar.

- Francisco (8/5): Muy bien con algunos peros. - Es un hotel pensado para jugadores de golf, nosotros lo utilizamos como punto base para recorrer la zona y sobre todo el Parque Nacional de Monfragüe. El hotel solamente tiene un problema: el calor en la habitación es axfisiante y la única solución, aconsejada por el conserje, es abrir la ventana y esperar varias horas a que se enfríe. Hay que dormir con la ventana abierta.Otro problema es que wifi tiene capacidad limitada, por lo que te puedes quedar sin señal a media noche y tener que pedir nueva contraseña. El parking fue gratis.

Il fallu attendre le lendemain pour la réparation de la fenêtre et le surlendemain pour le coffre. Dommage aussi qu'en plein été le restaurant ne soit pas ouvert le soir.il n'y avait que la brasserie d'ouverte. Par contre nous avons apprécié le site et le golf
