Guest Reviews
- Grace (9/5): - Friendly staff Na
- Sally (6/5): We stayed the night before in a small room with shared bathroom. It had very comfortable beds and the tv had steaming se - Close to bars and restaurants and supermarkets If guests are expected to ‘wash all plates etc used’ I think a seperate sink should be supplied. Having to wash food off plates in the bathroom sink is not hygienic.
- Pendlebury (8/5): For the cost it was very comfortable - Friendly staff and clean facilities
- Blaine (9/5): Loved it, thank you. Very glad this type of accomodation is available, like a glamorous backpackers - Location and price, cool factor
- Rudo (7/5): It was a comfortable night - Proximity into town
Room was presentable
Good food at the Cafe Everything was generally okay
- Michael (8/5): A brilliant location with friendly staff. - The hotel was in a fantastic location with everywhere being within a distance walk and the staff were friendly Not that it’s a major issue but the view from our hotel room was just a brick wall lol. Also the noise till late on at night.
- Sagar (6/5): - Location Very little cooking facility
- Manish (4/5): Not at all a value for amount of money I had spend to book two rooms - The location is good. The rooms are very very small, shared bathroom, beds are not comfortable, not properly cleaned.
- Lauren (6/5): - Nice location. Rooms are teeny tiny!
- Vynka (5/5): -
- Zaira (8/5): - Accessible to everything
- Louise (5/5): Fantastic location and building, if you don't mind some nighttime noise - Room was clean and location was excellent. Lovely high ceilings and natural light, and windows looking out onto iconic Albany views (Mt Clarence, the harbour). Drawbacks were poor ventilation (no vents to allow a through-breeze, or air con) and noise from pub patrons. Free earplugs were provided, but vibrations could still be felt.
- Star (1/5): Intransparency Not good value for money - The location is good. Instruction from the staff is clear. The property charged me for private bathroom rate but gave me a shared bathroom room.
One of the pillow case is yellow stained.
- Lisa Clements (5/5): -
- Amato (7/5): -
- Adam (8/5): Great location and very clean. Some Beds need replacing in the old rooms. - Location and Staff Booked a Twin Room for two nights, but no Twins available - so had to share a Double Bed with my adult son for first night. However the staff were great and upgraded us to a great room with comfy beds for the second night - slept so well on the second night.
- jason (7/5): - Location was amazing
Food was great
Nice building love the heritage The only thing we didn't like was the mattress it was terrible
- Lis B (7/5): -
- George (6/5): -
- Brenton (3/5): Marketed as a 'Boutique' hotel.... Very disappointing - Location The room.....the supplied ear plugs on the fridge (that had nothing in it) gave a clue of what was coming later in the evening
- Claudia (7/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Awesome value for money - Amazing view from the room of the sound. Quiet clean rooms. Easy check in and out, great bar and food below. Clean bathroom and great water pressure. 4 pillows on a double bed instead of 3 would be more appropriate.
- Stuart (10/5): - Great location All good
- Angela (8/5): Happy to return if in Alban6 again - Value for money and easily accessible. Nothing
- Paul (7/5): An excellent central location quiet and good comfort...perfect for a weekend stay - NA No.breakfast tried here not offered
- David (7/5): - Central to Albany. Very convenient The heater fell off the wall in my room.

- Halit (8/5): -
- Follington (5/5): -
- Lukas (8/5): -
- qing (7/5): -
- Jolian (1/5): Don't stay here - Nothing No ceiling fan, no air conditioning, can't open the window when it's hot at night due to the pub noise. You have to sweat it out. You have to carry all your luggage and belongings past the patrons through the beer garden, through the pub to get to reception and to your room. It's a very expensive room rate considering you only get a tiny room without any seating and you have to use a shared shower and toilet.
- Peter (10/5): Perfect -

- Cherrel (6/5): Voor een nachtje is het oké - Locatie is goed Warme kamer. Slecht te luchten, bedompt
- Maru (2/5): Don’t stay here if you have accessibility issues, over priced for what you get, much better places to stay for the same - The location was good There was no mention of the accessibility to the rooms, three flights to f stairs, only access to the rooms is at the front, parking is at rear, no way I was getting the suitcases up to the room, no a/c in room, fan blew more dust than air, beds were uncomfortable, bathroom was out of order and not clean
- Eliza (7/5): - Great location, nice characterful building and room, high ceilings. Friendly staff. Had 3 nights in a family room. Neighbouring room had TV on all night. Queen bed was saggy, I slept in single bunk which was comfy.. Showers need attention, can't turn off fully.
- Marcin (5/5): -
- Judy (5/5): - Location good Photos on line were deceiving.
For the price I didn't realise it was a back packers hotell as it was advertised as a 'boutique hotel'. I would not class it as 'boutique'.
- RAIJELI (1/5): We checkd in and checked back with no refund. - Poor service at reseption.. photo on web not accurate and decieving. Food
- Todd (7/5): I came to watch the street race , your hotel worked perfect for me -
- David (7/5): perfect for what we wanted that weekend - It was exactly as advertised, staff were good, access was good, hot water was good and hot in the showers Room while it was as advertised it was very small with little room for bags, two of the taps in the showers needed maintainance
- Tom (5/5): -
- Riley (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- malcolm (8/5): - Location to city Centre.
Pub, cafes and supermarket close by. Waking up with 2 insects biting me in the middle of the night.
I had no problem with the music but I think if you're at the back of the property you'd need the ear plugs supplied.
- Hari Baskar (8/5): -
- Kelvin K (8/5): -

- ROUELLE (7/5): - Hôtel bien placé Le bruit extérieur
- Arran (5/5): - The location was good, easy parking. The room was basic and felt dated, paint peeling, old carpet etc.
- Dean (2/5): We are not happy at all with our two room that we booked both rooms where the same , cooked is the only word to describe - Hotel was in a good area No aircon in the rooms
Small fan in the room but you would need ear muffles to block the sound out
- Rachel (8/5): -
- Rebecca (1/5): Terrible, don’t stay there - Nothing. It was terrible, don’t stay there.
The shared bathrooms were clean. The room was tiny, there was no space for luggage, the room had no AC, the supplied fan was extremely dusty and very noisy, the window screen was full of dust, it is called a “shoebox” for a reason, it is tiny.
- Christopher (7/5): - Location Beds were really uncomfortable
- Fatema (8/5): -
- Tania (6/5): Cheap and you get what you pay for. No air con so it was a very warm night. - Very convenient
Staff friendly Very muggy and hot in the room.

Excellent restaurant The rooms are quite loud
- Aida (8/5): Bastante bien - El staff ha sido muy amable, muy buenos baños y el restaurante de debajo del hotel es muy conveniente. La habitación es muy pequeña
- Klaus Peter (3/5): Poor - Bed springy, door squeeky. Had to rescue two female family members with toilet paper as dhared facilities not cleaned and toilet paper topped up.

- Iftikhar Ali (8/5): The location was good and it really worth it. - The location No Drinking water provided

- Damian Yuan Fong (10/5): - Its definitely the best place to stay in town, the price, the location, the cleanliness are top notch, bar/restaurant are amazing. Third time visited and would definitely come back again.

- Helen (7/5): -

- Max (6/5): -
- Stewart (10/5): -
- Danelle (3/5): -
- Mara (7/5): - Very convenient location, easy check in I parked in the back guest car park. When I left this morning at 7am all doors were looked to get to the guest car park in the back. I had do go around several buildings to get to it which was very annoying and I wished someone would have mentioned that before because I then would have just parked on the street in front.
- ANDREW (6/5): Generally OK. Facilities were minimal but top marks for cleaning staff - It had a nice vibe to the bar area. Staff friendly Very poor access to vehicles during non bar hours. Had to walk luggage through busy bar. Very small rooms. Very few utensils In shared kitchenette.
- Geoff (1/5): - Bar Room dirty, smelly, paint off skirting everywhere, door lock unsecured, dirty windows
- Matthias (6/5): -
