- Patricia (4/5): - Very run down and dated. Mold on bathroom ceiling. TV not much bigger than a computer monitor. Property looks nice from the outside.

- Verified traveler (6/5): - Plenty of parking spaces, suggest trucks park in 2d (or even 3d) row. Just love the half-hour idle time right outside the window beginning before 6AM. Zero snacks or drinks. Looks nice driving by.. Keep on driving
- Monica (4/5): One to avoid! - This hotel is extremely outdated and needs lots of repairs. The room smells like chlorine and the carpet is nasty. The bathroom door didn't shut and stay closed. There was no toilet paper holder. (I have attached pictures.) The curtains are torn and don't close all of the way. The shower curtain was torn so water sprays out on to the floor. Very disappointed. We will not stay here again.

A lot of Hotels everywhere are servicing breakfast. #2 They need bigger and thicker towels. Those towels would be good for my 5 y/o grandsons. Extra roll of toilet paper

- Harlie (2/5): Very Upsetting - There was 2 different pills on the floor on my room. The WiFi wouldn’t connect AT ALL. Called the manager twice and nothing came about it. It looked like the room and never been vacuum either.

Paint peeling off in places. the plug in near the sink has a short in it. And not enough places to charge devices. The beds were well worn but not uncomfortable. The place could use some renovations. There was gunfire, the police were called, a loud domestic dispute, and a high speed chase. All right at this establishment. But to top it off, when we told our relatives where we were staying they warned us not to go out after dark because this motel is known for drug deals and prostitutes frequenting this motel. It’s a shame, this was my 3 visit here. It used to be a nice place to stay.k

- Verified traveler (4/5): Ok as a last resort... - Very old building with poorly executed updates - the tub is tilted away from the wall, so that water runs out onto the bathroom floor during your shower which will be long due to very low water pressure and flow. Ceiling paint peeling in many places. Air conditioning was so incredibly loud it woke us up several times, so very little sleep was had. Toilet was very slow running and clogged in the morning. No continental breakfast included, due to COVID. Cheap price, but will not ever stay again.

- JustOk (6/5): - The front desk staff very polite and helpful. Our room smelled of pot smoking neighbors in next room. Our bathroom had no shower head. Just a pipe out of wall. Plug behind bedside table had no cover and was loose in wall. Was scared to plug in my cell phone. Noisy place. 11pm loud loud knocking at another door. Breakfast offered is nothing. Weak coffee and I saw 2 pieces of bread and 2 cereals. No fruit or anything else available. Bed firm and clean. Pet friendly. It is what you expect for the value. Best Western directly across the street.

But, the place is falling apart: Ineffective air conditioning Duct tape on carpet edging Mold in tub Dirty “looking” blanket on bed No hair dryer-not that it was a listed amenity but kind of standard at motels If we hadn’t had our dog on trip, would not have stayed. One again, family running it were very nice.

- Barry (8/5): Athens, Tx Feb 2nd - Checked in late and had to leave early so was only wanting sleep. The Inn is older but my room was clean and comfortable and much cheaper than Best Western or Holiday Inn Express. Office staff friendly on arrival and departure.

Small hassle checking in - prepayment was under my husband’s name instead of mine so they required I go out to car and get his ID. Other than that, bargain room, clean and pet friendly. Polite staff.

Very clean, ice machine on premises, very happy with the value, cleanliness & location. Very close to restaurants & Lake Athens exit.
- ALANA (2/5): HORRIBLE PLACE AND CROOKED THIEVES OWN IT. RUN!! - RUN, DON'T WALK, AS FAST AS YOU CAN AWAY FROM THIS CROOK. THIS IS A HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY. BE CAREFUL IF YOU DO STAY THERE. WE WERE CHARGED THREE TIMES FOR STAYING THERE, AND ASKED FOR CASH FOR OUR PETS (WHICH WAS TO BE REFUNDED IMMEDIATELY) IN APRIL 2016. WE ARE STILL FIGHTING TO GET AT LEAST 1/2 OF OUR MONEY BACK SINCE WE WERE CHARGED THREE TIMES FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY. THE PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND MANY OF THE ROOMS HAVE DOORS THAT HAVE BEEN KICKED IN, WITH TRASH EVERYWHERE.

- Carlos (2/5): Disappointed - The neighborhood is clean, quiet and seemed very safe.Room were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Those were the good points. Headboard lights did not work or had bulb missing. Fridge didn't work. Sink leaked on counter, got my toiletries and towels wet. Icemaker ice had red tinge and left residue in my ice chest when melted. I notified desk personally of these issues and none were corrected. Had to go to desk for replacement bulbs myself. Dumpster outside our room was overfilled and smelled terrible. Will not stay here again, not recommended.
