Housekeeping up to standard clean and tidy, although they did miss a broken plug in the basin in Wet Room, thus basin was out of commissions as it could not hold water ( all in one plug). .Also, I-believe that 4 little pots of milk is hardly enough for two grown adults. Like wise with the sachets of coffee Or tea - enough for one drink in the evening and one in the morning - not enough and also no apparent choice between decaf and normal. Having a room right on the main road ( quiet room!,) No instructions on how to operate the television, all we could get was Euro TV!!!! Welcome Brochure totally out of date and fell to bits when picked up!,

- KENNY (9/5): White Hart weekend. - Would have liked a better selection of cereals. Very good cooked breakfast options. Big room with comfortable bed. Very good wet room style bathroom. The White Hart main building was a beautiful olde worlde timber building with plenty of character. In the bedroom a large wardrobe in the room meant the bed was not in a central position in the room which meant a tight squeeze window side of the room. Only single glazed windows you could hear the road and traffic passing by.

These took 15 minutes to arrive at which point we were asked if we were ready to order, the waiter then realised they hadnt given us any menus. When food arrived the toast had no butter with it, we asked for some and the waiter went to get some but it never arrived. The poached eggs were under cooked and still transparent in places.

Food and drink reasonably priced. Room close to the car park and easily accessible. Loved the coffee machine in the room and the beds were very comfortable. Food was lovely plenty of choice at breakfast. When I arrived late at night the front door was open and the heating was off so it took ages to heat up. The front door (3) was very difficult to shut. Just a few little finishing touches missed but the staff are friendly and polite.

- Clem (8/5): A relaxing get away. - The main building is a lovely place to spend time. The vibe is very relaxing and time seems to disappear which is a fantastic way to unwind. If you dine here you will not be disappointed, the food does live up to its reputation and whilst it is not cheap you can tell why. The service was excellent as well on a evening that it was fully booked. It was also my wife's birthday and when I asked them for a simple candle in the dessert they brought it through with a lovely birthday message and made her feel that little bit more special. Whilst the room was nice I felt it was the bathroom that took the limelight. The room itself was not what I would class as a suite. But it has to be said it very nice. Some of the furniture was slightly worn for example the draw on the bedside that just refused to close either as needing replacing or is a cracking ghost story. We could have done with some bottled water for the price spent rather than drinking from the bathroom tap. I felt the overall refreshments coulr have been better. We had 4 little pots of milk meaning 2 cups of tea or coffee and 1 pack of of 2 biscuits. This is really the area I felt just took the overall shine off, the attention to detail.

The bedroom was too hot despite turning radiator down, the green emergency light remained on in the room all night creating a green glow which disturbed sleep. The blinds needed to remain down as in full view of car park. Would have preferred a kingsize bed rather than a double as very cramped.

- Stephen (10/5): - Our room was spotlessly clean- with very unique interior decor .The decor of the Hotel was lovely . Very calming the food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very professional .The barman made the best Martini pornstar cocktail I have ever been served.He was very knowledgable about the White Hart Hotel .The gardens were lovely to sit in .
