Guest Reviews
- Julie (10/5): - This is an excellent budget accommodation with a small kitchen. There was no coffee machine and not even a tea bag. It was a great stop over for what we paid.
- Kim (10/5): - Clean practical functional and well stocked
- Samantha (10/5): Nice - Worth the price. Plenty of parking probably 100 spots behind locked gates. Comfortable rooms and good to have a small kitchen.
- Andrea (4/5): Stay in Reims - Our usual stay on the way back to the UK. The facilities start showing a bit of aging (sofa bed very creaky). Also nobody at the reception when we arrived, had to wait 5-10 minutes before checking in.
- Sophia (10/5): Lovely stay - Lovely stay. The whole family enjoyed it.
- Vilmantas (10/5): - everything goods clean.
- Catalina (8/5): - I felt the tub is unsafe ,to high to get in and very slippery.
- David (10/5): - Comfortable and well located base for family of 4 (with a car) to visit Reims (in particular) and also Epernay. Hypermarket nearby good for self catering.
- Andrew (8/5): - This was a convenient over night stay as we explored the city of Reims on our way to Paris . The room was spacious and perfect for our family of three. It was great to have a fridge for the night and a kitchen. Communication was great. No problem with parking (we did not book in advance). Staff were really welcoming and we were given pastries for our onward journey - which was amazing as lots of places were closed on a Sunday morning. Shame there isn’t really a communal area with a bar, but we were aware in advance so took food and drink with us. Would definitely stay again.
- Verified traveler (2/5): I - Dirty, outdated, no indication of room location, poor directions for after hours check in.
- KEITH (8/5): Reims overnight stay - Very helpful staff, who constantly updated me about my stay. Very comfortable bed, resulting in a good night's sleep.
- Rachael (10/5): Perfect overnight stop - Perfect over night stay on our drive back from Cassis to avoid I'air Crit in the centre of Reims. Reception staff were polite and professional. The double studio was roomy and very clean and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was brand new and well equipped, the fridge freezer was useful for our food and ice packs. The big walk in shower was a big space. An Uber to the Cathedral in Reims was €12.
- Andry (8/5): - Clean, protected parking, rooms in the good usable condition
- Louise (10/5): Overnight stay in Reims - Apart city Reims was an ideal spot to break our journey. The receptionist was very helpful. The rooms were well equipped, including the kitchen.
- Earl (8/5): - Really convenient location , not too far from the tunnel so good for a break. Easy access of the motorway, but not to close to he noisy. Good food options close by. Reims is also a lovely town to explore
- Anna Paula (8/5): - It was a nice stay but far from the centre. Secure parking which I liked and room was clean. I would recommend it and I may choose it again.
- Hongxing (10/5): - very friendly staff; clean and spacious room
- Rakesh (8/5): - Breakfast is not good
- Qindeel (10/5): - Clean spacious, friendly staff very good location. Will definitively stay again.
- Phil (10/5): - Enjoyed it, great check in at midnight !
- Steve (8/5): Decent and well located. - Didn’t receive security codes to login until we asked for them at 4pm. Room very hot although we were aware of no aircon before we booked. Breakfast was reasonable and convenient. This is the second time we have stayed here as it’s conveniently situated just off the motorway. It is also close to a large supermarket with cheap(ish) fuel and a few restaurants if required. The family room for four people includes a double bed and a fold out bed but the space is large.
- Minako (10/5): - Clean and reasonable price.
- Rob (10/5): Ideal for family travelling - We have stayed before twice and we will stay again. We arrive late at night and the instructions provided in advance allow us to access the apartment. The breakfast is ok. The apparent feels new and is clean. For a family for four this is a perfect stop over.
- Iqra (10/5): - The male receptionist was so lovely and friendly. Very welcoming. The hotel room was nice clean and very affordable. We only stayed a night but it was perfect. It had a small kitchen area so we could make our own food. Cannot fault this place. Would defo book with them again.
- Christian (10/5): - Super apart hotel
- Vivian (10/5): - Clean comfortable staff was very helpful especially with complicated washing machine
Nice breakfast
Good value
- MARY (6/5): - Breakfast good, staff friendly BUT bed very hard and pillows uncomfortable. Breakfast good. Toilet needed de scaling . Needs aircon instead of noisy fan in room. Convenient for shopping centre and a few restaurants inc McDonalds.
- Rafael (6/5): - Nothing to comment.
- Yunior (2/5): - Worst hotel experience hands down. Booked the hotel 24-36 hrs prior. Did not realized that I had to call the hotel at least 24 hrs in advanced if I was going to be arriving after 9 pm. Arrived around midnight just to realized there were no receptionist available and numbers posted were no help. Called two different numbers with the hopes of getting a hold of the reception and nothing. There were no hotels available in the area since they were booked up. Had to sleep with my wife and two young children’s inside our car in a parking lot.
Lack of communication from the hotel….not a single person available to answer the phone after 10pm, no email / message from the hotel when I made the reservation.
I recommend avoiding this hotel if you plan on arriving after 9pm.
- Ioannis (8/5): - The hotel is quite nice and the rooms where spacy and bright.
Corridors cleanness should be definitely improved and the rooms should be ventilated more. There was an unpleasant odor around the kitchen (in both rooms)
All personnel was friendly and helpful and the check-in/out process simple and quick.
- Shaina (8/5): - Really nice and peaceful stay! Our sink was clogged upon arrival but other than that we enjoyed it. Also cleaning happens once a week so if you stay less than 7 days you won’t get fresh towels / bed sheets unless you pay
- Nina (8/5): - We have stayed here 3 times now however this time the rooms smelt of nicotine.
The curtains were dirty and the whole place is looking tired and could do with a spruce up.
- Habib (8/5): - It was good and enjoyed staying
- deborah (2/5): - We booked this hotel at 10 pm on a drive from the UK to Provence. We showed up at midnight and all gates were locked and it was impossible to get in the property. They should not allow you to book a room after the reception is closed!!! Beware of very short reception hours (definitely NOT 24/7 as per the property description)
- Derek (8/5): Needs a kettle. - Hotel breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The stairs were in need of a good clean. Kitchen needs to have a kettle. There was a coffee machine but it was not really useable for heating water for tea or other hot drinks. It did have a hob but again it was a bit of a pain to heat a pan of water for tea. Otherwise it was a comfortable room.
- Dapo (8/5): - The customer service was excellent and very helpful staffs.
- Fionnuala (10/5): Excellent for families with young children - Excellent first impression-staff send info on accessing car park and hotel to both email and mobile phone. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and in advance when I had an enquiry. Room is split in two with a well equipped kitchen-hob, microwave, even a slim line dishwasher with tablets and washing up liquid provided, along with cutlery plates and pots. I travelled with a toddler and a hatchling and found all of this very useful. Breakfast was beautiful, with local artisan cheeses and two types of honey being a particular highlight. Will definitely use again if travelling through France
- valerian (8/5): A weekend before christmas - It is conveniently located in the suburbs of Reims. Easy to park. Very close to a shopping mall. It has everything you need to do a little cooking. It was not spotless but clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The parking had a weird activity by night
- Verified traveler (6/5): Ok for a short stay - Ok Hotel. Clean, but not very special rooms. Microwave was overheating. Bed was ok. Too expensive
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Really disappointed - for 89 euro it’s a waste of money. The team couldn’t recommend a restaurant and just handed me a map. The apartment was in very bad condition - paint chipped, chairs dirty and scuffed. Bed very uncomfortable and hard. The sofa bed was dirty. There was only a TV in living area not in bedroom. Do not waste your money on the breakfast bag
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Perfect stop off on the way to Ardeche
- Lisa (10/5): - The place was very clean and unique. The room was efficient and appealing to the eye.
- Christine (10/5): - Easy to find, good one night stopover to Alps
- Alex (10/5): - Excellent use of space! Highly recommended for families.Clean, quiet and friendly.
- Scott (4/5): - I’ve stayed he at least four time before and have alway found it acceptable and have returned. Unfortunately this time the level of cleanliness was poor !
I had a room change on arrival which was dealt with very efficiently by the receptionist but after discovering stains on the bedding in the second room I was offered another set that I was asked to change my self ! I also mentioned that I had discovered dirty floors , dried milk in the fridge , dusty extraction vents along with dirty crockery and frying pan but non of these issues were dealt with over the coarse of my three night stay. I did it my self !! as I needed to get on with my stay not deal with hotel managers.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Room wasn’t bad for the price but the hotel is definitely 3 star. Sheet were dirty and the room was pretty cold. Only nice thing about the hotel was the shower.
- Mark (10/5): great chain to use for a stopover! - Absolute bargain, clean, spacious and a kitchen/fridge etc. Will definitely use again for a stopover.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Modern clean place with lifts. Everything you need. Neat. Nice staff also
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quick to check in. Clean, quiet area. Every detail is taken care of.
- Tim (8/5): Good value for money - pleasantly surprised! - Much better than anticipated!! Very clean and a genuine bargain. Pleasantly surprised!! We used it as a stop over on the way back to Calais and it did exactly what it said on the tin. For the money, expectations were low, just wanted a bed for the night for the family. In fairness it was actually better than some hotels I stay at that are 3-4 times the price!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The people at the reception where absolutely useless!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Do you tell if there's any wrong information place and they give wrong information on the hotel the address and everything it was wrong it's not sent out of reims is outside of range
- Verified traveler (2/5): - In advance of my stay at this hotel we were given access codes for entry as we were arriving in the middle of the night. The code to enter the car park worked but as soon as we entered the hotel and put our code into the safe to get our keys it didn’t work. It was 3am and with two tired young children for 30 minutes we kept trying. In the end we had to call a number for assistance and was told we had been given the wrong code. Once in the room the children slept on a sofa bed which was so squeaky that every time they moved it woke us up. After complaining the following morning they gave us complimentary breakfast which was horrible and the food and breakfast hall was covered in flies. We left and went somewhere else for breakfast. I will definitely not stay here again.
- N&R (8/5): - Nice, clean, and spacious. Friendly staff. Not far by car from City center.l, Aboutaleb 10 minutes.Nice recommendation of where to go for diner.
Staf was also friendly to our dog. He could walk free because the surrounding was fenced.
A Place to go back to.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Staff was unpleasant - Hotel was nice, but the staff were not pleasant at all!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was great. We were close to the heart of Reims from the hotel. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Outside of Reims - Hotel was great, super comfortable. People were so helpful. Best when one has a car. There is bus transportation into town but it does not run late. There is very limited food selections nearby. Reims itself is great.
- Robert (8/5): Secure parking but 7euro charge. Easy for food. - Secure gated parking but you have to pay 7euro for that. McDs and sit down chain style restaurants within walking distance on a shopping park. Also there were other guests getting Pizza delivered and as they are apartments this would be a good option.
The room was good for family although the 2nd double bed is a sofa bed which did make noise when moving but was comfortable.
All in all a good choice and good value. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Our requirements were a family room for 4 and an extra room for my dad. This hotel matched the criteria exactly. The room was clean and spacious with everything we needed for an overnight stay. There was a double bed in one room and double fold out sleeper couch in the other (both very comfortable). There is a kitchenette in the room but we did not use this. Coffee/tea in the room would be the perfect extra touch.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lots of space for 2 adults and two kids. Would deffinately choose this hotel to stay at next time in Reims.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The place was basic but modern and clean. The sofa bed was incredibly uncomfortable and squeaked all night unfortunately.
- Andrea (8/5): Appart'City Reims - Our hotel of choice when we travel from the UK to Italy and back. Spacious, clean and conveniently located for a one-night stay. Good wifi and breakfast option.
- Christine (10/5): Stopover - Very good stopover with kitchenette for convenience. Good value for money and close to main route to Alps
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location not far into the town. Nice big rooms
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Rooms are clean and light - reception staff are helpful and polite
- Alexander (6/5): Glad that it was a short stay - Apartment consists of two rooms which is good. Well equiped with dishes and stuff. But there were a lot of small faults in the room. And it was not enough warm in winter time.
But you better book without breakfast! Cause you do not want to be shocked by dirty (and I mean this) dishes and forks and knives. And the food was not interesting at all. Big disappointment! So better buy some stuff in a supermarket and eat it in the room which is supposed to be used this way.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Property is convenient to downtown and major roads.
- Joe (10/5): - It was very friendly even when we arrived past midnight! The person on the phone answered the call quickly and in very good English!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Good location on route - Basic but clean & convenient.
Decided on breakfast on this our 6th stay, very disappointed, very poor choice of breakfast. Advertising picture shows a bowl of fresh fruit, our experience was an over ripe apricot & almost mushy kiwi fruit. Better choice is to get your own from local supermarket & make use of kitchen facilities in the room.
- Jackie (10/5): - Loved the appartment layout. Very relaxing with a teenager who keeps different hours to her parents. Felt more luxurious than a hotel but was cheaper than most hotels. Loved it.
- Julian (6/5): Best suited for a few days on business. - Hotel is on a business park so 7Euro for parking seems a bit cheeky. Room was well equipped for those staying a few days.
- Elizabeth (10/5): Great stopover hotel for a family of 4 - Great ĺocation for a stopover when driving from the south of France to Calais. 2 separate rooms joined together so suitable for a family of 4 and a dog. Close to the motorway too. I would really recommend this hotel
- Mrs Dovie (4/5): - I did no really enjoyed my stay in this hotel for this reasons:
1. During our stay it was the hottest weather the room was not equipped with air conditioning and they don’t provide electric fans..
2. The room we had was smelly of septic tank
3. You can hear the noise from the other rooms
Food is okay. But i will not come back or recommend someone to stay in this hotel....
- Ian (4/5): Business trip - Being made to stand on the naughty step by a gum-chewing receptionist because we were a few minutes early did not meet with our approval. Also, to be given a disabled person's room was insulting. We asked for a move and were, reluctantly, moved. The window curtains in the don't fit; consequently, on the lower floors they offer no privacy during hours of darkness. As we have stayed in this hotel before, and had different rooms with the same issue, informs me the curtains throughout the hotel don't cover the windows. In addition, I object to being gouged out of 7 euros to park a car. The (so called) secured parking is non-existent, as the hotel leaves the gates open all day. Yes you are given an access code, but it isn't needed as the gates are never closed. This could be a good venue, but is spoilt by, mainly, the poor customer service.
- D (8/5): Just off the motorway - Do you want to explore Reims? Don’t stay here, but if you’re en-route south/north and want a clean, efficient hotel close to the motorway network then this is the hotel for you. Having the dog with us meant the secure garden/car park and the kitchenette was a bonus!
- Antony (8/5): - Exactly what we needed
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stop off en route to South of france - Ideal for stop over.interesting use of space to contain kitchen facilities but we had the buffet breakfast which was varied and plentiful. Nowhere to have an evening meal nearby unless you wanted fast food. Served it's purpose for us.
- AKOH (4/5): Not what we expected - Check in was quick but full payment was required at check in. Parking is €7 per night and whilst it is convenient being on site it is grossly overpriced. Given the location parking is not highly sought after so charging such a high amount was odd, we were travelling with a small child though so were prepared to pay it purely for the convenience. We didn’t try breakfast. We stayed for one week.
The one bedroom apartment was adequate, it had a small kitchenette and was a reasonable size for two adults and a toddler. It was a little smelly when we arrived but after opening the windows it soon went. I was surprised by how unclean it was. I won’t say it was ‘dirty’ but it certainly wasn’t clean. I don’t think the sofa had been pulled out and vacuumed for at least 6 months with the amount of dust/food bits under it. A few repairs needed but nothing too difficult (broken bin, strip of wall hanging off, kitchette doors dropped so quite hard to open with them sticking to the floor). It was noisy at times so limited soundproofing, especially with very vocal nighttime activities from a woman in the room above...
The bed was very hard and pillows too flat so we didn’t sleep very well. Bathroom was fine. There was no housekeeping for the entire week.
Reception were there as a physical presence but were not approachable. They avoided all eye contact and any greetings from us were ignored. We certainly didn’t feel we could go to them with any issues. Wouldn’t stay again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Would not stay here again - Tried to check in early but there was no one at reception so came back later and the receptionist was not very nice. There was no air conditioner which makes it very hard to sleep in the middle of summer. The kitchenette could do with a washing machine.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Parking charge is ridiculous, ok Hotel. - The hotel was fine for our purposes. It is on the outskirts of town, but they still charge parking which was quite ridiculous considering the ample parking and the location. The breakfast charge was also excessive for what was served. Don’t bother getting breakfast there, but find a local boulangerie instead.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel in business park location - Nice hotel clean and off by itself in business park area. I would stay there again
- Elizabeth (8/5): - Good hotel for the price. Clean and good facilities in the room.
- Julissa (8/5): Nice Stay - Practical, clean apartment. Close to shopping center and less than 15 minute from downtown.
- Louis (10/5): Great budget hotel - Was touring a few countries riding motorcycles with my son. We stayed in this hotel because included parking within the price.
Rooms were clean. Cleanliness is what we really treasure. We had breakfast also at a reasonable price. WIFI was very acceptable. It was all good. If you are in the region, I will recommend this hotel highly.
- V (6/5): Weird Parking Lot Vibe - We arrive later in the evening after driving from Switzerland and the parking lot was filled with groups of people just hanging out. I've never used the word "loitering" before as I'm in my early 30's but these folks were definitely "loitering". Its off a highway and charges for parking (as if there was any other option but to drive there). No extra pillow available so just 1 thin one.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Pretty good location. Plenty of restaurants within 15 min walk as well as a Hypermarket. Appartment was nice and looked newly refurbished. Housekeeping should do a better job cleaning in the corners etc.
- Nicholas (6/5): Very average... - Very average to be honest. Room could have been cleaner, and no toilet roll in the room! Thankfully just using as an overnight stop while driving through France.
- Andy (4/5): Good Ski Trip Stop-over - Nice hotel with self contained apartment rooms. Didn't need to use the self catering facilities but it was all there. Room was spacious and clean. Some noise from road outside. Very adequate buffet breakfast, no complaints.
Only complaint was that on arrival (about 10pm) the electric gate to the car park was shut (which is understandable), but nobody would answer the intercom which is right in front of a cctv camera, and we had no code to get in either. Only managed to gain entry after the pizza guy waiting behind us phoned through direct to reception. We had tried phoning but the number didn't seem to work for us. Pretty annoying after a long journey to get there.
Anyway, once we got in was happy with our one night stay.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional value for money. - Excellent location to break a long journey through france, great value.
- Andrew (4/5): What a difference a week makes!!! - Stayed last Wednesday, excellent, 10/10 as my review showed. Monday night poor, 2/10
1. No smile or small talk at check in
2. Plug in sink in bedroom broken. Cobwebs on main lampshade
3. Had to ask for more pillows, last time they were in the room. Receptionist didn't even put the pillow cases on even though we had asked for them before we went out for dinner
4. Breakfast very poor compared to previous stay. Walked in to a mess and the buffet was very depleted even though it was only 8.30-8.40am. Had to ask for plates from the staff chatting in the kitchen
5. No one on reception as we left to bid us a safe journey etc
Great value first time round, not so second. Pity
- Andrew (10/5): Stop over on our way to the French Alps - Excellent stay. Great service and loverly breakfast. Well exceeded our expectations. Well done guys
- anne (8/5): Had everything we needed - The room was spacious and the little kitchen area was well equipped. It was all very clean but smelt of smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. It was a great bonus to have a little gym but there were only three machines and two of them weren't working well. it was brilliant to be able to park securely right outside but I hadn't realised we'd have to pay another 7 euros for parking. Overall though, we were really happy with our stay and have booked another Appart City because we were so impressed with this one.
- Richard (6/5): Overnight stop over - Had a ground floor room, drains stunk the room out so kept toilet door shut at all times, was exhausted so did not complain but glad to leave early in the morning, breakfast included was poor, would not pay extra for it.
- Peter (6/5): Careful what you book - We booked a room with 2 single beds. I received an email confirming that, but when we checked in the hotel insisted we’d booked a double bed. No rooms with singles were available so I had to pay an additional 20 Euros for a larger room with a double and a sofa bed. Other than that the room was clean and relatively comfortable.
- Karen (10/5): - Perfect convenient location, simple and comfortable. Nice buffet breakfasst
- Andrea (8/5): Stay in Reims - We stay at this hotel about four times a year during our two yearly trips from the UK to Italy. This time the sofa bed in our original room was not open so we got moved to another one, which was slightly smaller. On the plus side, the rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast is pretty cheap and has good options. On the down side, the carpet in the hallways was bit dirty. The mattresses are quite hard. Some extra pillows would be nice. The area is industrial but it is convenient traveling through Reims and it is developing. A new McDonald's just opened nearby.
- Sarah (8/5): Good price for family. - For a family of 4 this accommodation was spacious, well resourced and very reasonably priced. Arriving late was no problem as the key was in a safe in reception. Staff were all very friendly allowing me to speak in French but using their perfect English when I got stuck. Close to the motorway we stayed here on both our journeys through France.
- Steve (8/5): Good value for en route stop - Nice clean room. Plenty of room for 4. Only problem was very hard bed and squeaky sofa bed. Good large shower.
- G (8/5): - Very pleasant surprise considering the price payed. Rooms excellent, breakfast very good.
- Umachanger (8/5): Great for stopovers - Went here to stay overnight during our trip South. Check-in was easy and quick. Staff were nice and informative. Room was big and had everything we needed. A/C would have been nice, but at this price-level we can't really expect it. Bed was ok for one or two nights, but will not recommend this for staying many days if you like a comfortable bed. Room was clean and bathroom had lots of space.
The breakfast buffet is great and a steal for the price!
