A special shout out to the DOSM Mr Manpreet who ensured that despite a late check-in and 2 very exhausted senior citizens, he ensured the front desk provided express check-in and he also sent som ginger masala tea to freshen up my parents. The service was outstanding, the deluxe suite super comfortable and the food - delicious with generous portions. Short stay but we will be back!

The buffet spread was exquisite, featuring an impressive array of cuisines. Chef Hari added a beautiful personal touch by preparing customized Mutton and Saag for us. The entire staff truly feels like an extended family. Heartfelt appreciation to the entire team.

However, Good location & nice breakf - Very normal check in , stay , cleanliness & rooms small nothing special in rooms. Rooms needed better aesthetics. The good part was breakfast. Hotel should offer points benefit over night spent...like complementary spa services, room upgrade or free nights. Since April 25 spent 5 nights but nothing. Lacking value for money.

- AkBakh (4/5): Horrible customer care - Experience with Taj brand usually spells hospitality, warmth, professionalism, courtesy. Sadly, cannot say that about my experience with the Sales Executive Commercials at Taj Vivanta in Ahmedabad SG Highway. Firstly, the Sales Executive's replies sound condescending. Almost as if doing me the utmost favor. Secondly, the unspoken message was 'stay away' we do not have availability. Whereas not only did their website show availability, I also reserved it and sent him the reservation details by email. And several rooms across categories were available for the exact same requirements as mine. Any query thereafter goes unanswered for days by the Sales Executive, the Sales Executive's team, and yet another colleague gentleman. From a Sales Executive at a 5 star hotel, I expect a much courteous attitude. In short, a terrible experience. Despite being a repeat customer and after having reserved for several days. My total reservation bill would be higher than most of the monthly salaries at that hotel. Despite that I get a treatment like that of an untouchable. I would strongly urge people to consider twice before thinking of this hotel. In the same area there are several other 5 star hotels of international brand at the same price. Best to choose any other hotel.

- Meander00536194235 (10/5): Warm cozy luxury stay - Checked in late by 6pm only and requested for a non smoking room. The duty manager Mr Saurabh was warm and upgraded me to a suite. My very first experience with Taj was fabulous. Not just him noticed every single staff including the person who came in the morning to check for laundry was enquiring on the stay comfort and if anything is required. Took the buffet dinner and breakfast and they were also really good. And before coming also I had called and requested preponment to 1 day before and it was seamless and customer friendly experience throughout. Only minor drawback- felt not so pleasent but very faint smell near the toilet area in the room.
- Suryaj1990 (2/5): This is not a Taj Experience - This has been our worst experience by far. The fire alarm goes off 3-4 times in the night. An unnecessary emergency is declared on account of a false alarm at 2am. Since it was repeated affair, we asked for the manager but he was not available at the property. We tried to divert our minds by watching some television but it was not working. When we raised an issue about it, there was no one to attend to it either. They requested to have it working by morning. In the morning, no one attended to the television. Manager yet did not attend to us. The breakfast was horrible. The food quality was not the best and lead to certain health issues during the day. We refused to continue our meals with the property. The second night was even worse. We reached our rooms tired at midnight. Rooms was smelling and was not done up. Replenishment of fruits and tea was not done. They changed our room in the middle of the night. This as a whole took us an hour loosing another night sleep. During this whole two day fiasco, the manager was not available nor bothered to communicate with us till we did not raise this to Taj

- 384alkap (10/5): A Great Place to Stay - A great hotel to stay in. Though I reached the hotel very late into the noight , my check in experience was quick and smooth. The staff was very courtous and war. The room was spacious, extremely clean, crisp linen, and there was a personalised welcome note by the manager along with a big Fruit Platter. I shall definitely come back for all my stays in Ahmadabad to this hotel

Every staff member was extremely polite, helpful, and courteous, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. The food staff ashwin, vipul n narsingh(manager) was also helpful.. The receptionist Dhiraj and Abhilasha made our engagement day very special by decorating the room fr us and arranging for a sweet cake... The only thing I didn't like was that Mr Ashwini at the restaurant was a bit rude as he didn't allow to take the food at the room fr my baby.. The baby khichdi was fantastic made fr my baby... The boy who loaded n deloaded our luggage n gave us a welcome drink was excellent n soft by gesture eventhough he couldn't hear n speak.. the name of d boy I didn't remember..

I am extremely happy with the upfrontness he’s shown .as i was sick with severe cold nadim without saying a word got me a glass of ginger honey water which made me feel relieved. More over i am also allergic to dairy and he saw me pick up something from the buffet that had dairy , he immediately cross checked with the chef and stopped me from eating the same . Grateful for nadim’s hospitality and apt responses could not thank him enough .

Room was spacious with separated bedroom and wash area, breakfast and dinner were vast and great at taste. Masala Chai, masala Dosa, stuffed Parathas were my favorite. Cafeteria staff was extremely polite and very helpful. Dinner menu always kept adding a change that helped a lot. Ms Mona and Mr Suman took extra care for all the days I stayed. They bid me off with a nice see you soon cake. Big appreciation for the management for giving opportunity for specially abled staff. Looking forward to visit again.
