- Jessica (4/5): Brutal - A few of the staff were pleasant ie the breakfast lady and the cleaning staff Check in was an absolute nightmare. I booked online with husbands card. Then was prompted to do express check in advance of arriving to the hotel. I did so, provided same card and info. Then arrived to hotel with three exhausted children and had to wait 15 min in line to get our room key. “Express check in ?” I think not. Finally it was our turn and I was told I needed to provide credit card info AGAIN for the THIRD time and that I needed to get my husband to fill out an authorization form before they would hand me my room key. Luckily I contacted my husband and he was able to fill out immediately. What if he was at work? I understand needing the form filled out but this should have been prompted days ago, not after I’ve provided card info 3 times and now have 3 exteremely tired kids in tow after doing express check in. The clerk then made us wait 15 more minutes while she helped everyone else despite my husband submitting the form within one minute. Finally she checked us in after I expressed my frustration. So around 30-40 min to check in despite using their “express check in”. So frustrating after a day in the car with young kids. Side note I left a review directly with the hotel first rather than come on here for all to see their incompetence, and the manager emailed me back and basically said “too bad”. So never going here again and defintely will be telling others to avoid this place too!

- Misty (7/5): My clients said it was okay. - I booked the room for a family in need. I tried calling the hotel directly multiple times with no answer. I had to book through Booking.com which caused me to spend more than necessary for a small hotel. I also did not get to use my status card to save the taxes as this hotel is on Treaty Territory. The man that finally answered the phone. He was rude, condescending and had zero customer service skills.

Room was great, but needed a coffee table (but they are in the process of renovating, so understandable). Don't make such big batches of breakfast items, so they will be fresher for guests eating later.

The pool is nice. And the room was a good size Front desk staff always seemed confused and another staff member kept going out of her way to yell at my kids in the pool, when we were the only people in the pool and they werent breaking any of the posted rules. Elevator was also broken the whole week which was very inconvenient.

- V7975BJkenr (10/5): Best Yorkton Hotel by far!! - One of the best Hotel stays I've had in a very long time. Check-in was fast, friendly and very professional. Lobby was very clean and well lit. Directions to room and use of Wi-fi were very easy to understand. Explanation of breakfast time and location of hotel amenities were also explained in great detail. Even greeted by other Front desk agent that was assisting another traveler. Every area of the hotel was very clean from hallways to the elevator. The room I was assigned to was clean, well laid out, and the bed was even better than the expensive one I have at home. The room had a leather sofa that was comfortable and could also fold out into a bed if needed. There were multiple options for lighting spaced all around the room, and a large work station. One feature I appreciated was the access to multiple outlets for my laptop, cell charger, etc. My new hotel of choice for all of my over nights in Yorkton. Will be bringing my swimming trunks next time as I heard their 2 storey waterslide is the fastest around!

We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast too! The hotel is easy to navigate to & the distance to amenities outside the hotel are relatively close! Great stay!

All that you expect when travelling long ditstances and just want a clean and quiet place to rest overnight. Also liked that they had plugs available if you wanted to plug in your vehicle. Breakfast could have been better organized, with more options. Also, they should keep 2 small water bottles in the rooms in case required.

We couldnt take a shower because there was no shower curtain. The tv was messed up we couldn't get the tv going. We finally got a signal and statted with ongoing struggle.

Notice stated the pool will be closed towards the end of the month indefinitely as it requires work. Noise coming from the hallway and music all through the night. The elevator was not working but the hotel let us know so we could make changes if we couldn't do the stairs with our luggage which we did take advantage of. The lobby furniture was showing bad wear and tear so didnt make a great first impression. The room and staff did make up for it.

- Dinesh (8/5): Great family friendly hotel to stay - Like the swimming pool and it was clean and enough depth for kids to have some fun. Like the suite with the kitchen , especially we used it for prepare little bit for our kids . Loved the person at the buffet in morning . The lady was super nice and exceptional. She had so much energy. If there was a restaurant ( maybe I didn’t know) that would be great . May be more variety for the breakfast like sausages, bacon etc . May be some noodles ( fancy ) .

- Candice (2/5): - The beds and bathroom were clean but the walls and carpets were completely beaten up and stained - easily one of the worst rooms I have stayed in. This is not a hotel that has been taken care of at all. We did not feel comfortable during our short stay. The walls were also paper thin, we could hear our neighbours crystal clear when they were just talking in their room and the hallways were noisy as well. The front desk staff were really welcoming and pleasant, but neglected to inform us at check in that we should not drink the tap water due to a water main repair project happening on their side of the city. There was just sheet of paper left in the room, that could easily be missed, which warned us that the tap water was unsafe to drink. We had to pick up bottles of water to keep on hand throughout our stay. Would not recommend.

- Bunner (4/5): Like most reviews online, it was slightly dirty. Not filthy, but not clean. - Bed was ok. Room was quiet. Staff was kind. Tub was very dirty and shower was half functional.

- Catherine (2/5): Disrepair & bad area - It was bad. Floors and elevator looked like they had never been cleaned. The walls in the rooms were damaged and stained. I actually don’t know how walls can get like that. The bed and sheets were thankfully clean. The entire hotel needs maintenance, and is in a rough area. Casino is right next door, so there were all sorts of characters out at night. Parking lot had a bunch of beat up vehicles, and we witnessed someone be arrested in the parking lot one evening. I will not be staying here again
