- Guest (2/5): Unsatisfactory - Breakfast was not supplied No breakfast, the staff put us in a room that was under construction, the second room the staff put us in a room with no a/c the pool was closed
- Richard (8/5): Awkwardly Creepy - It is conveniently located next to the Jacksonville Transit Authority bus lines, Walmart shopping center, 7-Eleven Fuel, and convenience store plus others.
Very clean hotel. (If you wanted to check in 15 minutes early, they would charge you an additional $50 fee) No early check ins!
The "Gift Shop" is a locked room in the lobby that has a very limited selection of beverages and some snacks. You need to ask the front desk to unlock the door.
For breakfast, there is a huge dining room that does not serve any food! It is always closed and blocked off. Not even a continental breakfast, nothing, not even complimentary coffee for those who travel for business.
The hotel is always empty. It is so quiet, it is creepy like in the movie, "The Shining!" The hotel is cold (not as in temperature).
- Mohammad Shareef (1/5): Terrible. Absolutely horrible. Worst experience ever, never ever booking with them again. And remove this hotel from you - Nothing We hated everything about this hotel. The so called “service” is non existent, the staff are rude clueless and it just feels like a waste of time and energy while speaking to them. They have no idea about even the basic things of their hotel. They’re very unhelpful. The rooms are dirty, the shower does not have hot water. The AC leaked and when we woke up the whole floor was wet. We saw that someone else had reported this exact same problem before on google and it still happened with us this clearly shows that the staff and management of this hotel DO NOT care about their customer’s experience at all. And to make matters worse the furniture was pathetic. Beds, pillows, blankets and the washrooms were all dirty and unpleasant to look at. Remove this hotel from your app and don’t suggest us hotels like this or else we will not use your app and website in the future. Moreover by keeping hotels like this in your website and app you are ruining your image.
- ANGEL (10/5): - Very good place nice and clean.
- Thomas (8/5): - The property is in need of some upgrades.
- Logan (2/5): - The customer service was not there
- Christopher (10/5): -
- Eric (2/5): - We arrived several hours early and did not check in until 3pm; staff claimed our rooms needed to be cleaned. When we got into our rooms they were not as clean as they could have been. The hotel was empty as we never saw another guest in the 4 days we were there. We were not told renovations would be going on until we checked in. Guests are not allowed to smoke ANYWHERE on the property. If you wanted to smoke, you had to walk completely off the property - no designated area provided. No housekeeping provided at all. We had to ask to have our trash emptied, which they did, but that's all they did -- no fresh towels, no fresh sheets. In the bathtub, the drain mechinism was dismatled and sitting on the side of the bathtub. Do yourself a favor: save your money and stay somewhere else.
- Angela (6/5): - Hotel has been partialy renovated and it really isn't up for guests yet. No breakfast, pool closed, main hotel AC was being repaired. Nice comfy beds. Left at dawn .
- Ronnie (9/5): -
- Ruben (2/5): - Not good
- Aviance (8/5): -
- Anna (2/5): - I paid for 2 nights there and went up to our room. The tub was horrific. Looked like it had not been cleaned in weeks. Visible dirt all the way around the tub. I was refused a refund when i checked out early. Staff was very rude and incorporative. I gave it 1 star because there isnt an option worse than that. Just dont go there. There was no staff available after 11pm until 9am.
- Tyson (4/5): - Ac broken in lobby. Staff at front desk not friendly. Mold on shower curtain. Asked for a few more pillows and never got them.
- allison (4/5): - Not very clean
- Martinez (3/5): Poor -
- Mathis (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (6/5): - Very poor staff help and property needs attention
- Donika (2/5): - It’s not the cleanest and the waiting aren’t it’s very cluttered with random furniture. Breakfast is not anva even though its states in the reservation breakfast included.
- Aleeaha (4/5): - I did like the space. So much to work with. It was dark outside & the bathroom in our room was dirty the sink had hair in it. The front desk lady told us we had to be there by 12pm because she needed to go home. The hot tub looked to be working but it was half full & dirty. I believe it was a big machine beside the hotel but it was very loud the entire time beside the pool. They definitely need to disclosed this information because I booked this hotel for the hot tub specifically. I’m very disappointed
- Thomas (2/5): - I was not able to stay but is bring charged for service. I was under the impression i had a late check in
- charles (6/5): - Hotel renovations stop at the lobby but the rooms are clean. Pool area is nice but the hot tub was broken. Hote has direct tv but it buffered every 15 minutes. No breakfast and the restaurant didn’t seem like it was operating atleast it wasn’t during my three day stay.
- Anonymous (1/5): He were there for 15 minutes before we checked out - Nothing Everything the rooms were discussing. The furniture was covered with a blanket because the leather on the chairs were ripped and pealing off
- Brandon (1/5): Bad -
- Josselin (1/5): Very bad service. They didn't let me into the hotel, supposedly because I had to check in before midnight. They left - Nada Very bad service. They didn't let me into the hotel, supposedly because I had to check in before midnight. They left me sleeping on the street with my children.
- Ray (8/5): - Dated but clean and good location.
- Anonymous (2/5): Very poor -
- Michael (7/5): Good - Pool nice beds No breakfast
- CelesteKinsey13 (2/5): Worst experience EVER! NEVER STAY AT MARBLE WATERS - Worst service EVER! I will NEVER stay at another Wendy’s due to the lady the 2nd night! The lady said she would kick out the guest at 6:30pm on the 2nd night because she didn’t like my tone! Unbelievable gall on this rather obese woman! That’s when she answered my questions! She refused initially until she had my ID and 2nd $50 incidental fee when the first wasn’t back in my account and there was absolutely no issues with the guest only me (the one who paid for the guest) she then proceeded to call the cops on me because she told me to leave and if I didn’t leave she was calling the cops. I told her I wasn’t leaving until she gave me the number to call to complain about her! She refused and called the cops and left the lobby until the cops came an hour later! She was THE WORST human I have encountered! And kept my money for the 2nd night and kicked the guest out! Not okay!
- Mathis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (6/5): - The location was good for us. There was no A/C in the halls or lobby and the restaurant was closed.
- julanec2021 (4/5): Sleep only and if you dont care about hospitality - Rooms clean if you only want a place to sleep this is fine. If you want courteous employees this is not the place for you. The front desk agent never once welcomed us or even smiled. Every time I would ask a question she was sour and wanted only to lecture the guest. Received a text welcoming me and if I needed anything to respond. WheN I did she came to the room with the toilet paper I requested and lectured me that I was supposed to call the front desk. To sleep by all means stay extended stay i do not recommend! Lobby is hot and has free standing units throughout the lobby and halls that are turned off at night. I went to my car at 4 am in the morning and i dont know if it was the attendant or security was sleeping in front of one of the ac units.
- Terence (10/5): Marble Waters Hotel - The hotel was hot but our room had air conditioning. The hotel was clean and quiet. We could not get the internet to work so I had to use hotspot for internet. Nice big bed and friendly employees.
- Phillip (4/5): Disrepair - no shams on beds and AC not working in lobby and hallways
- Milagros (4/5): - Took 30 minutes for the clerk to come to the desk for a late check in. No a/c on floors or reception only in rooms, bathtub and curtains moldy.
Used to be a good hotel, I don’t know what happened with it.
- Christina (8/5): Average hotel - The room was clean, and pretty average.
The air conditioning in the building was broken so the hallways and elevators were sweltering hot. Thankfully the room ac worked great. The lady at the front desk wasn’t that friendly, but I didn’t have to deal with her that much. Didn’t use the hot tub, but did notice a sign that it would be an additional charge of $30/day to use the jets in it. Seems ridiculous to me…
- Scott (2/5): - too much bad to list..
no ac in lobby or halls, pool closed, jacuzzi empty, room dirty, food and hair in dresser drawers, microwave rusted and dented, noisy, property generally unkept. Restaurant closed...none of the closed things listed as such on booking sites.
- Patricia (4/5): Spend a couple extra dollars and stay elsewhere - We entered to check in at 5:21p. The lobby was hot and humid and no one was there. Walked the halls and yelled a few times to get anyone’s attention, after waiting 19 minutes. I called the hotel hoping someone would answer from another room and no.
Finally someone came out and checked us in. Headed to the room and the elevator and common areas were hot and humid. Only a/c was a blower unit at the front desk.
The room was also hot, a/c unit was blowing hot air even at 62°. When it cut on and off it sounded like a truck driving thru the room. We woke up sweaty and very disappointed at the horrible nights sleep we got.
This is our second stay here and our last.
- Justin (2/5): - Upon arrival was not pleased with the appearance pictures online do not showcase the true property. The parking lot was extremely empty and did not feel safe.
- Justina (1/5): Worse Hotel EVER!!! - Nothing I reserved the room because of the pool and located close to the beach. Well, walking into the building it was really hot. The front desk lady said the AC is being repaired bit the AC in the room works. I tell her we wanted to swim. She said the pool wasn't working after I signed the paperwork. I told her the whole reason I was there was the pool, but she said i couldn't cancel. We walked into the elevator and i about fainted it was so hot, the room smelled horrible, the AC was not working. the bathroom was dirty, the tub had a black ring like it hadn't been cleaned and there was dirt on the floor. So I went back to the front desk lady to let her know what was going on and she was very rude. She wanted to go see the room, so we went. She said it smelled like smoke and i told her we walked in the room and right back out, no one had smoked in there. She walked into the bathroom, closes the door for a moment and then comes out the bathroom and says yall can leave. I asked about getting a refund and she said no i had to call the place i booked the room. She was not willing to help me and walked away. Other than the rude staff, the entire place was scorching hot, had a horrible smell, nothing advertised was available, the pool, workout equipment or a clean environment!!!
- Verified traveler (2/5): - disgusting and beat down. has a weird smell
- Blair (8/5): - Noise from bar somewhat loud
- Gregory (4/5): - PROS:
• Great location
• 10 minutes from the beach
•Bed was comfy
CONS:
• Tub & shower were filthy. I left to shower at Planet Fitness.
• Room had no seating. Bed, nightstands, Dresser, TV, that’s it. And a bunch of empty space in the room.
• Pool was absolutely filthy, hot tub didn’t even have water in it.
- Connie (1/5): Horrible - What breakfast there is no restaurant no gift shop even buy a sandwich or a drink. No ice machine machines on the floor floors no air-conditioning no pool no nothing awful. Close the place down
- Katelyn (1/5): I will never be back. - Nothing. None of the amenities were “working” the pool was closed for no reason. And the staff were very nasty didn’t notify us when checking in at all. I will never stay here again. I rather sleep in my car.
- brittany (4/5): - Property isn’t bad , the furniture is a little run down the couch was brown with whit spots and the black computer chair was peeling . It definitely was fine for the time . It was extremely hot in the building all over renovations are being done .
- Clayton (10/5): - 5star
- Donna (4/5): - Air-conditioner was not working anywhere except our room , which i was thankful. Old and outdated inside. Resturant was closed, permanently. Staff was helpful and gave us more pillows and a chair we asked for. Location was nice.
- Sandy (1/5): Would never recommend this place - Nothing The AC wasn’t working
The front desk employee was awful
The beds and chairs had stains
The room reeked of mold
- Rushele (2/5): - It was advertised having a restaurant and bar, which was closed. Also, the pool area was closed.
- Tabrina (2/5): Do not recommend - It was horrible. Air in the lobby and hallways was broken, pool and hot tub closed and it was 85degrees outside, no breakfast as advertised, restaurant was closed, no house keeping, gift shop closed, staff was rude. Charges to use jets in the bathroom in the rooms. Just ridiculous and very unhappy
- Bex (6/5): - This property was rather run down and there was no fitness center, despite the label of one in the hallway. The restaurant was never open, there was a tattered leather chair in the room, and the A/C did not work in the common areas. It served the purpose of a 2-day stay just fine and was a convenient location to the beach and to breakfast spots, but I would not want to stay there again.
- Latoya (6/5): - The bed was too squeeky. I could heat everything the next door neighbors was saying and doing
- Bobby (1/5): Awful - It was in a nice area. It was disgustingly filthy, there was a bullet hole in the room door cover with scotch tape and aluminum foil, the pillows had black grease stains, the chairs were torn and nasty, the beds headboard was broken, the phone was covered in drown crap, the carpet was filthy and torn and there was a toenail laying next to the mini fridge.
- Hector (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rebecca (2/5): DO NOT BOOK!!!! - DO NOT BOOK! The website pictures are deceiving. Upon check-in, the front desk lady had a horrible attitude and talked down to me like I was incompetent. While walking to my room, I saw the restaurant was closed and looked like it was abandoned and neglected, like the rest of the hotel… the lights in my room’s bathroom didn’t work so they had to move me to another room as they had no one on-site to fix the issue. The next room looked like they decorated with furniture from a dumpster. Pieces of the chair were all over the floor! There was NO WAY I was sitting on either of these chairs, let alone sleep in the bed that looked dirty and stained. The vibe here was very sketchy and I felt uncomfortable in many ways. I ended up leaving even though I was there for a total of 45 min while changing in the first place. Currently trying to get a refund… front desk lady was not helpful.
- Hector (10/5): Exceptional -
- Robert (4/5): - Tried to check in early at 2pm with a fee of $25 but room was not ready until 245. Did not see many cars or people. Restaurant closed and bathrooms locked
- Bryan (1/5): Bad - Nothing Ac was broke , room was nasty and broken furniture.
- Chaussee (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jonathon (2/5): Terrible! - Terrible experience go to check in they wanted a 50 dollar deposit no problem. Get to room after being at the beach all day go to take a shower and there are for prints of feet with some black substance and pubic hair all over the tub. The small couch in the room should've been replaced years ago if i was the owner i would be embarrassed to even let anyone stay there. Then the next morning my phone goes off they done pulled another 50 dollars for no reason. Go up front to ask about it and the guy was really rude no apologies sorry for your inconvenience nothing. That really upset me then he proceeds to tell me it's going to take 4 to 5 days to return to my card when 50 of it should've never been taken out in the first place. WILL NOT BE BACK AND WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
- Barry (2/5): Bad Hotel, do not book! - Check-in was so long, both guest had issues and staff could not solve issues. One guest stated she worked for Wyndham and wanted the corporate rate. Instead of letting other guest check-in, she just kept complaining. Then in the room, the decor was old and partially covered up. Also there was no soap in the bathroom, the dispenser was empty. The only containers contained oil and lotion, nothing with soap.
- Walter (1/5): Bad - WI FI Not working, Air Con Not properly working
- Ammon (2/5): - T the furniture is peeling and filthy. The carpeting is filthy. The staff is incompetent.
- Monica (8/5): Meh! - It was ok, but I wouldn’t stay again. Clean enough, but basic, basic, basic. You can hear everything from your floor - slamming doors, kids running, even after 10:00. The jet engine that passes for an air conditioner made regulating the temperature in the room a challenge. Dated hotel that needs many upgrades. Disappointing Wyndham property.
- Jeffrey (2/5): Terrible! - I had checked in on line before I got there, to find out that nothing was done. There was one person working in the hotel, and I had to wait 25 minutes at the front desk. I got to my room and the TV would not turn on, went down to the front desk to get a different remote, and I waited another 20 minutes to get another one. Came back upstairs, and the tv turned on but would not change the channel or volume. Went back down stairs and asked for another room, and she said no. She told me that she would come to my room and "fix" it. An hour and a half later she did bring another remote. By that time I was going to bed. The next morning, the shower pressure was extremely low and I couldn't rinse off. The coffee maker also didn't work in the morning. I also checked to see if my reward points were applied, and they were not? Extremely disappointing at best!!
- Luis (2/5): - **Title: Worst Hotel Experience – Filthy, Uncomfortable, and Rude Staff**
If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we checked in, it was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The room was filthy—dust everywhere, stains on the sheets, and the bathroom looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in weeks.
To make matters worse, the air conditioning didn’t work, making the room unbearably hot and uncomfortable. When we brought it up to the front desk, the staff was not only unhelpful but also downright rude. They didn’t offer a solution, nor did they even bother to apologize. The customer service here is nonexistent.
On top of that, there was no daily housekeeping. We had to ask for fresh towels, and even then, it felt like we were inconveniencing them. It’s clear that this hotel has zero regard for its guests.
Save yourself the headache and book somewhere else. This place is a complete disaster.
- Alexander (1/5): Worst experience I’ve ever had with a hotel - Nothing I arrived late at night due to a flight delay. Even though I had booked the hotel in advance on booking they turned me away at the front desk and told me they could only check me in at 8a because of an “audit.” I was stuck without a place to stay late at night. They are not refunding my stay
- Jesi (4/5): - The outside of the hotel and the main lobby are well kept and clean. The actual room was not that great. The chairs in the room were in poor condition and the sheet on the bed has a stain on them.
- Madison (1/5): Bad -
- Rachel (10/5): Jacksonville, Fla - Angie at the front desk was very helpful & sweet! Clean, comfortable, & spacious room.
- Ashley (8/5): Very good -
- jenna (4/5): sad, need facelift and maintenance - poor condition for a Wyndham. furniture was falling apart, large holes in carpet. jacuzzi didnt work. Paint peeling off walls. stains on sheets. cheaper than most but we tolerated it for one night.
- Donniest (5/5): Passable - Front office nasty attitude
- Hailey (4/5): - Phone was broken and not even plugged in, there were bugs and the furniture was VERY damaged/gross. Won't be staying here again. Super disappointed, Wyndham is usually great...
- Quigley (5/5): Passable - Location. I had a reservation to arrive on Saturday. Circumstance dictated delay one day arrive Sunday. On Friday, I called the hotel to tell him I would not be in on Saturday. Would be there Sunday afternoon. I did not request my reservation be changed. I was more than willing to pay for the Saturday night even though I would not be in town. Gentleman who answered the phone thanked me told me he'd see me Sunday. Saturday I received a call from a very Stern female employee telling me my reservation would be canceled. I would be considered a no-show. And I would be charged for a night's stay. She even sternly told me be quiet and let her talk. I listened to her one-sided conversation. Politely hung the phone up. Went online and made a reservation for Sunday through Saturday. Cost me a little more plus the Saturday night. I didn't stay. If the location of the hotel was not so close to my family, I would have stayed elsewhere. Very disappointing. Most of the staff is very good to exceptional. There is one lady brings the whole crew down.
- Marcia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Josue (4/5): - Not a good stay. The room had two full size beds instead of queen size that was advertised. The heater was giving a burning odor. The shower had no water pressure and the water would drain very slow.
