Guest Reviews
- Petra (10/5): To remember for next time! - The Paradise Oceanfront was the closest to Cape May for a 3-day birding outing. Very clean, partial ocean view, quiet, professional and very courteous reception staff. It had everything I needed (except for coffee in the room).
- Kathleen (10/5): - I liked the location, access to the beach, 2nd level patio w/view, access to. Boogie boards, 2 gas grills and co ered area with picnic tables, clean the pool and area.around it every day. Ice staff, very friendly. Will be going back!
- Mariah (10/5): - Amazing staff!!
- Ivette (8/5): - A later check out would be nice
- Lisa (8/5): - It was convenient, clean, quiet, well equipped with kitchen and bathroom necessities, close to the beach.
There was nothing I didn't like.
- Leoneza (10/5): - Conveniently located on the beachfront. Very calm, quiet and clean.
- Patricia (8/5): - This place was a great price for a place to stay on the beach! It could use some updating but overall we loved it. The air conditioning was super cold and the beds were very comfortable.
- JOSEPH (10/5): - Stayed for three nights four days at this resort it was very nice. Pool was heated. You were able to grill on the grills using their utensils. The room was gorgeous. I had an oceanfront suite studio room accommodations for a great staff was great. Will definitely come back to this place
- Lindsey (10/5): - Kelly at the desk was awesome!
- Joseph (8/5): - Enough sleeping place for a family of 4. Decent kitchen. Weak WiFi signals in the bedroom. They advertise “partial ocean view” but no view at all at the first floor.
- William (10/5): - Just an overnight but the place was great. Staff was terrific too.
- Susan (10/5): - My favorite place in Wildwood Crest
- Chris (8/5): Clean and on the beach! - Well maintained property right on the beach. Had everything we needed, wish you didn't have to pay for ice but everything was really nice. Staff were friendly and helpful, pool was clean, I would stay again.
- Louis (10/5): - Older property. Good value. Our Expedia reservation was upgraded. Access to the room hours early. Stayed on property after checkout while my daughter homeschooled.
- debra (10/5): - We live at the beach in central jersey but like to get away for some mom/nana/daughters time for a few days before school starts in wildwood crest every August. This is our first time staying here and we were very happy. This is exactly our vibe. It has that retro feel but is updated and does not feel old. The rooms were extremely clean and the pool area was as well. You can immediately feel the pride these owners and staff have for this property. The location was perfect… beautiful view and literally steps to the beach. It was only a short ride to cape may and thewildwood boardwalk. There are lots of restaurants and little breakfast cafes you can walk to. We will be coming back here!
- LENIN (8/5): - Good place! Nothing luxurious, but beach front, clean and the staff is beyond friendly and professional!
- JENNIFER (10/5): - Parking spots are narrow. Room was very comfy. AC is super cold. Clean, all tableware needed to eat your takeout. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Kevin, Jacky and the gentleman who checked us out were excellent. Will return! Loved this place!
- Lovella Nova (10/5): - Clean room & good location
- Elham (10/5): - Nice clean hotel
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean and Cozy
- Frank (10/5): - Loved our quick stay here. Right on the beach and away from the noise of busy Wildwood.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - The Paradise Oceanfront Resort lives up to the grandeur of its name. The art deco style of the building harkens back to Miami in the 1960 but everything is meticulously maintained. Each room has a glass front wall providing ocean views. Our room was immaculately clean and well appointed. We really hope to make it back to the hotel in the future.
- Lisa (10/5): - Very nice staff willing to help in any way possible.
- John (10/5): - Stayed for several days for a wedding. Room had small kitchen with full size fridge, sink, and 2 burner stove, dishes.
No safe or thermostat ( just fan control) in room.
- Nicholas (10/5): - Would definitely recommend property was nice private access to the beach. Room was perfect other than the kitchen sink kept clogging.
- dawn (10/5): Awesome place very nice - This place was perfect lady at the front desk is so nice and greets you everytime the entire staff is friendly and very polite the rooms are very nice amd very clean i will deffinately come back was worth every penny
- Josue (10/5): - Great place love the vibe
- tara ashley rhodarmer (10/5): - The room was a steal for the price and each employee was phenomenal
- RHONDA (10/5): - So close to the ocean and awesome views from the patio/balcony. Staff very helpful.
- Patricia (10/5): Love Those Wildwood Days - Loved being so close to the beach in the Crest at Wildwood. Nice beach. Enjoyed the ocean view from room. Friendly staff. Parking a little tight. Comfortable beds and very clean. Nice deck and area to grill dinner. Pool very inviting. Will definitely book there again.
- Evelyn (10/5): - Excellent customer service. The friendliness and courteous from staff and management was outstanding.
- Bernard (6/5): - Parking is very tight. Show in master bedroom didn't work properly water only came out about half at shower head. Room was not very quiet. Our room and the facility was clean and staff was very friendly. Loved the access to the beach.
- Melody (10/5): - The only thing I didn’t like was when I would leave the hotel and come back there was no place to park my vehicle
- Bonjin (10/5): - Proximity to beach for affordable prices.
Staff was helpful and friendly.
- Jason (10/5): - Clean
- chrisitne (8/5): Very nice - This motel was very good. The room was spacious and clean front desk staff were great! The pool is clean and beautiful. Beach access also! I would definately stay there again!
- Lori (10/5): Wonderful definitely would come back - The hotel was excellent. The service was wonderful. Called ahead to ask if our room came with an iron and ironing board in room. They didn't but said they would have one for us in our room when we got there. Had trouble with a unexpected charge on my card and it was apologized for and quickly fixed.
- Irene (10/5): - We had a good stay there.
- Steven (10/5): - Everything was great. I was happy with checkin. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Checkin took all of 5 minutes. Very fast. Room was a great little studio suite. Cute and clean. This was my first time staying at the shore. I wish we stayed longer then 1 night became hoe happy we were snd how friendly the othwr guest were also. Nice pool area and shared balcony. Couldnt ask for more for me and my family of 2 adults 2 teenagers and a newborn. Thanks for the great stay!
- judith (8/5): - good visit
- Frances (10/5): - Blankets were very rough and thin. Need to bring your own blankets
- Michael (8/5): Good for overnight stay - Good stay. The property is dated but the rooms are clean, staff was friendly, and it is right on the beach.
- NICKIE (8/5): - Great value beach property close to Cape May, clean, quiet and safe. We were there on a chilly day and there's no heat. Cleaning product on floor made floors slippery. Amenities were lacking--no clock, no coffee, worn toilet seat.
- Lucia (10/5): - Very friendly staff, walking distance to the beach (the hotel has an entrance to the beach). Ocean view. Great place to stay
- cynthia (10/5): - Great location, room and pool. My grandkids and I really enjoyed it.
- Laura (8/5): - Closeness to the beach...clean sun deck
- Jenny R (6/5): - Great location! The room was spotless. My only gripe is that the beds were terribly uncomfortable. You could feel every spring in the mattress. The blanket was rough and felt like a hospital blanket. I was glad I brought my own. But you really can't beat the location, right on the beach!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was nice for a one night stay
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Accommodating staff
- Stephen (8/5): Had Fun - Had a nice suite with 2 bedrooms. The pool was a perfect size for the kids and it was right near the beach. I like the fact that it had a picnic table area with grills and sort of like a private beach area right next to it. I would go again
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We where right on the beach but no ocean view.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Super personable staff. Clean property. Right in the beach. Felt like the Wildwood vacays of my youth in the 70s, but modern.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Please Do Stay - Had a great stay at the hotel. Super friendly staff that couldn’t have been nicer. For instance, check out was at ten, but that was the same time the pool opens and the kids wanted to swim. So I asked if we could still use the pool even after we checked out. They said of course … you can use it as long as you’d like, but you may have to move your vehicle if we need the space. I couldn’t believe it. I thought for sure they’d say no. So we ended swimming for another hour. Definitely will be staying there again.
I did have one issue, but that was with Hotels.com and not the Hotel. In their description they said you would have to bring your own bed sheets as the Hotel doesn’t provide them. So I went out and bought new bedding for the trip. Of course as soon as we get to the room all of the beds have sheets and blankets. WTH?? Maybe it was a COVID protocol or something? I don’t know, but they should update their website.
I was able to return them for a full refund, so it worked out.
So in conclusion I definitely recommend staying there.
Sincerely,
Room 109
- Eric (10/5): Mother's Day weekend - It looked like our room was newly renovated; fresh paint,
light fixtures, wood look tile floors. Room was clean and had a good aroma to it. A couple of things I would of liked;
more hooks to hang up wet clothing, towels and to have paper towels in the kitchenette. I spilt some coffee and had to use the dish towel. Otherwise we would come back again.
- Zenaida (10/5): Family vacation - What an amazing experience. Everyone is so friendly. I felt so comfortable and relaxed. We will definitely be returning next year!
- Kara (10/5): - I loved the room we stayed in! It was very clean and I felt safe staying there. I would definitely stay there again!
- Lori (10/5): - Staff was very nice and helpful, the room was very clean and we all had a great time
- Adam (4/5): - The view was great but the room, not so much
- Shellbug526 (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. The staff was polite and pleasant and all wore masks. The rooms were clean and roomy. The hotel was right on the beach.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - the hotel was clean and truly OCEAN FRONT. A easy place to get to attractions in that area.
- Jen (10/5): - Check in was easy and we were very happy with our stay. Room was spacious and loved that the hotel was right in front of the beach.
- Debbie (8/5): - I wouwould definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Wildwood Crest. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. I felt like I was a guest in someone's home.
The only downside is that the bathrooms are dated. I would have given a perfect rating if the bathrooms were updated.
- Veronica (8/5): - Family oriented small resort right on the beach, nice pool. In room kitchen and out door grills a plus. Location is great for social distancing, not by busy boardwalk. Room was semi-updated.
- familyvacation (6/5): - The place is clean and neat. However, it could be better if the bathroom has more hook. The room looks very good, but you will feel 70s when you go in the bathroom. need some improvements.
- Jam (10/5): - Great location, great view, great staff. Only complaint would be parking lot spots are way too small. Couldnt open doors. Parked on street. Overall great place. Will stay again.
- Dee (10/5): - Friendly staff very clean. Family friendly hotel. Wonderful views of the ocean & beach.
- Aaron (2/5): Worst hotel of my life - This was the worst hotel I’ve ever dealt with. We did not even stay in the room and had to go to another hotel because of how poor the condition of the room was. We notified the front desk and they said “you’ve already paid so it’s your room” I still cannot believe customer service can be that poor.
- mariella (10/5): - The place was pretty clean and very friendly staff
- Pam (8/5): ok - The pull out couch had stains on it.
- Jessica (10/5): - Friendly staff, clean property, perfrct pool, room was nicely updated. Everyone was so friendly at the hotel. Followed all social distancing guidelines and facemask requirements. Great location!!! Excellent view!! Perfect for a reasonable price! One tricky part was parking, the spaces were SO TIGHT. the staff gave us a pass to park anywhere on the street so it wasn't a big deal. Would visit again.
- Domenico (8/5): Great Motel - It was a great motel close to beach, room was a little right for 5 people but we had plenty of room to sleep which was really the purpose of the room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was very clean. The staff was prompt and courteous.
- Steven (10/5): smile - Kelly from the front desk is very friendly and helpful. It was a comfortable place to stay.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Motel was right on the beach and very quiet location.
- Leila (8/5): Good - Everything was nice. Only criticism is TV in bedroom was entirely too small. Also ironing board and iron are a must and there was none.
- Amy (8/5): - Check in was super easy, we were in our room after a few minutes. The pool was nice, lots of outside space to sit with the family, tables, shade, a couple of grills and a beach volleyball court. It might have been the time we were there, but there was a lot going on in the public spaces with the others staying there, so noisy during the day, but it was quiet at night. Our room had a full size refrigerator which was great. The hotel is right on the beach and we did the walk, 1.5 miles to the Boardwalk. It was easy to drive down and find parking. Bathroom definitely needed updating, but it was clean and functional.
- Maribel (10/5): - Amazing
- Bradley (10/5): Outstanding - Great hotel! Everything is updated, clean, pleasant staff. Excellent stay. Will be back next year for sure
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the updated ocean front room. Very clean room, and the king bed was so comfortable. Would stay again.
- casey (8/5): Right on the beach - Nice place
- Bryan (10/5): 3rd year in a row - This is the third year in a row that we have stayed here and it has always met our expectations of a clean and convnient place to stay. Plan on returning next year
- Ellen (10/5): Serene Ocean and Beach Suite - Great family ocean and beach view suite. Very clean and fully equipped kitchen. Comfy bedding. Great service from friendly staff. Kevin and Fred were very accommodating and welcoming.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Property was in a fantastic location right on the beach! Pool was nice as well.
- michael (10/5): A real gem at the Jersey Shore! - The Paradise Oceanfront exceeded expectations! Great beach location, friendly staff, clean spacious room, nice view of Atlantic, clean pool, and excellent bbq patio area overlooking beach! Excellent kitchenette for cooking in. TV in living room AND bedroom.
Very good value and highly recommend!! We'll be back!
- James (10/5): Quick get away. - A quick anniversary get away. Staff was very pleasant. Room was huge. Too much for two people. Very clean. Right on the beach. Just after peak season but weather and water were great and the crowds were low. Very happy with the stay. Will definitely go back.
- jeff (8/5): Affordable beach housing - Affordable place to stay when in Wildwood (actually located in the "Crest"). Right on the beach (which is free access! Rare for NJ). Rooms are equipped with full size refrigerator, microwave, kitchen utensils and cookware, and two burner stove. Two pools - one for kiddies and one for adults and bigger kids. Short drive to boardwalk and town. Only complaint is the parking at this hotel is limited and TIGHT! Bring the junker if you don't want your car to get dinged by other car's doors!
- Bryan (10/5): Back in Paradise - This is our second time staying at Paradise. The location can’t be beat and the staff is friendly and genuine. We’ll plan on coming back a third time
- Rios (8/5): - Ocean views, right on the beach, nice pool, very clean, nice staff, nice and quite.
- Kirsty (10/5): Acacia beach hotel the sister property - Paradise beach was over booked so they called me and got us into there sisyer property called Acacia beach hotel, 7 blocks away. It was fantastic
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice weekend! - Nice hotel on the beach! Staff very friendly.
Kids enjoyed pool
- Michael (8/5): A little R & R - We enjoyed our stay. The hotel has been recently updated and everything in the room seemed pretty new. Our only complaint was the size of the TV in the bedroom which was only about a small 15-17" screen. It was about the size of our laptop. Normally that wouldn't matter but the weather was rainy and we were watching TV a little more than we would have had the weather been better.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great place and location. I'll definitely stay again
- Martin (8/5): Staff - So we stayed and then checked out my step daughter left a jacket behind and I called back and no one can find it it has seen it it no where it was out
- Mario (10/5): - Overall a very nice place to stay very clean and comfy the wifi is weak
- Kathy (10/5): Great location! - Added a night on to our vacation and found this place. Will definitely be back!!
- lia (8/5): Right in front of the beach - This hotel met our needs. We wanted a hotel in front of the beach and that's what we got. Parking was convenient, beach is free, and Boardwalk just 1.9 miles away.
- Bryan (10/5): We'll be back! - Exceptional value and many great memories were made
- Heather (10/5): Family oriented hotel on the beach! - It was a great place to stay on the beach with a kids! Very family oriented with nice patios and areas to eat outside, along with grills for you to cook out! Beautiful view of the beach, along with beach that is not crowded!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): nice close to beach - the hotel was ok not what i am use too but i love the fact that it was on the beach and quiet around.
- Mark (8/5): Mini Vacation - Other than the tight parking, we enjoyed everything about our stay here. It was easy to get to the beach, and a good choice of restaurants was an easy drive away. A ride into Cape May was also easy. Our room/suite was clean, larger than we expected, and quiet even with lots of firefighters in town for their annual convention. A good value and we'd come back.
