• Wanrooij (7/5): Prima - Uitgebreid ontbijt, het zwembad was fijn om na een stoffige dag even in te duiken. Airco was ijskoud en kon niet aangepast worden. Ik heb uiteindelijk in mijn thermo ondergoed en fleece trui moeten slapen (terwijl het buiten 30° is). Badkamer niet het schoonst. Alles is een beetje vervallen en toe aan vervanging.

• trixieea (2/5): first time to try so i had high expectations but super disappointed - terrible service - My room was unavailable despite my delayed arrival, which I intentionally did so that my room would be ready when I arrive. Unfortunately, the front office staff made we wait 1 hour before I could get a room AND ONLY after doing multiple follow-ups! Check-in time was supposed to be 2pm! The staff also could not give an exact time, no reason/explanation other than "we have a problem" and when i follow up "let me check" and then they don't get back to me. When they finally gave me a room, the room key would not work in the elevator! So I try but had to go back down as I couldn't make the card to work - which apparently had a special tapping method. If this had been the case, they should have stationed someone by the elevator to demo to guests -- cause I noticed that all other guests were having trouble with their cards! Then when I got to my room, no towels were available. I had to call twice to request and the towels only arrived 20 minutes after. Not even a sorry from the guy who gave the towel. There has been zero attempt of guest recovery, which I attempted myself - in a form of late check out but Front Office said "policy is 1pm only". I wasn't able to use my room for 5 hours and yet they said it matter of factly - not possible... WOW. So here we are. I had high expectations from the Ibis Properties. I'm super disappointed cause I actually booked in 3 other hotels but decided "maybe Ibis Styles would give me the best value for money" -- and I have never been so wrong! NEVER BOOKING IN ANOTHER IBIS. omg.

• Rostam (7/5): It was a pleasant stay. - Location close to city centre. Easy to go anywhere by grab or taxi. Areas out of hotel is not so walkable for tourist and also due to construction. Probably once the mrt is up, it will be a good place to stay. Also, probably need to construct a better walkway with shelter to access to the gajah mada mall.

This hotel is very strategic located and near from Plaza Gajah Mada Mall and Kota Tua. Streat Restaurant is delicious and friendly staff. The room is clean and tidy. Swimming Pool and The Room are comfy and enjoyable. One day, I wanna come back again with my mother.
• wonderfuljourney2023 (10/5): Great Stay - the location of this hotel quite strategic, near by shopping mall and many restaurants. walking distance to the bus stop, and soon MRT will be available. the room also spacious, even my kid can run to every corner 🤣. the breakfast buffet was good enough and the staffs were helpful. this hotel has swimming pool and the size was enough for family with kids. overall stay was great! thanks to Pak Indra & FO team for the hospitality 🤩
• rahardiantow (10/5): Warm Hospitality and Great Service for Our Family Getaway - I stayed at Hotel Ibis Styles Jakarta Gajah Mada with my wife and child from April 18 to 19, 2025, and we had a truly pleasant experience. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, thanks to Ms. Vantya, who was very friendly and professional. She assisted us patiently from the moment we arrived until we got to our room. We stayed in a Superior Room, number 815, which was clean, cozy, and perfect for a small family like ours. Our child was especially happy with the comfortable and colorful room setup. I would also like to express my appreciation to Mr. Indra Trianto, the Front Office Manager, for his warm and welcoming hospitality. He was very helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, we were very satisfied with the service and the experience. Thank you to the team at Ibis Styles Jakarta Gajah Mada, especially Ms. Vantya and Mr. Indra. We hope to come back again in the future!

Thanks to Anggasta for taking special care and attention in the restaurant. And a very special mention to Executive Chef Iman for cooking the vegetarian food as per the special requests. I am really grateful for all his efforts and providing delicious food. • GEORGE (5/5): Good hotel, bad experience... - Normal Indonesian breakfast...majority of the staff are good...there is an option to have a non-smoking room. Towels and bottled water are regularly replenished. During my booking, I was trying to arrange an airport pickup going to the hotel since I am arriving midnight. I tried to message them here in Booking.com messaging but no response, so I tried sending the hotel a direct email---same, no response. As a last attempt, I called directly from my country the hotel and finally spoke with one lady, and she informed me that they will contact me via WHATSAPP...I waited for 2 days...no one contacted me. This is so annoying because, I normally travel to Jakarta and I know that if you arrived in the airport very late night, you might end up with no transportation going to your hotel. Quite lucky during my arrival because GRAB CAR are available.

• Yeray (9/5): Un buen hotel donde alojarse en Yakarta - Las camas son comodísimas y el hotel está muy bien, cumple con las expectativas, el desayuno es muy bueno con variedad de platos. Estuvimos alojados en la planta 8 y muy tranquilos, a salvo del caos de yakarta. El aire acondicionado funciona genial y la ducha sale con mucho caudal El foscurit de la habitación no bajaba hasta abajo del todo, y como sugerencia le diría al hotel que disminuyan la intensidad de ambientador en el comedor durante el desayuno, está muy alto y es desagradable mientras comes.

There is a pool, perfect for a cooling down. We can recommend the massage in the room given by Dewi. From the hotel you can enter the mall. Everything was fine.

• Paula (7/5): Good, but.... - The room was comfortable, it had a nice view and the bed was good. There was a loud noise coming from the bathroom every time someone was having a shower in another room. We mentioned it to the staff but honestly it seems to be a structural thing. The other negative point was the location. The name of the hotel on Google maps is not the same as it says on booking, so we were confused and we had to walk for a long time, on top of that works are being done on the road and the area is very chaotic.

• Khadija (2/5): - A nightmare. After entering my room it smelled a bit weird but I paid no mind to it. Early morning I woke up to a leaking ceiling and wall. After I contacted the reception they sent someone to look and told me to wait. I went down and asked for a room change. The told me to wait till the afternoon. Fortunately some checked out early and they fixed that room for me.

Taxi bluebird order is easy and quick. The cafe waiters can be trained more on menu knowledge and more variety on cafe menu is advisable.

However, with some updates and enhancements, it could fully live up to this rat - - **High Floor Room:** I was fortunate to get a room on a high floor, which provided a nice view and a quieter stay away from the street noise. - **Proximity to Gajah Mada Plaza:** The hotel is conveniently located close to the Gajah Mada Plaza shopping mall, making it easy to shop and dine without needing to travel far. - **Comfortable Bed:** As always with Ibis, the mattress was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. - **Unobtrusive Service:** The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, allowing for a comfortable and relaxing stay. - **Swimming Pool:** The presence of a swimming pool was a nice touch, perfect for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring the city. - **Breakfast Quality:** The breakfast could use some improvement, especially considering its cost. The selection and quality of food did not quite meet expectations. - **Hotel Condition:** The hotel is starting to show its age and would benefit from some cosmetic renovations. There are signs of wear and tear that give a slight sense of neglect.

Checking was very slow. 15 minutes from when I provided ID and confirmation number. Pool is dark. No lounge chairs. Not up to basic standard of other ibis hotels. Poor housekeeping standards. Food stains in the wall beside bed.

• Prudensy (8/5): - We stayed in the suite. The room was quite spacious. Good for staying for 3 nights with an active 3 yo who needs space to move a lot. It was also clean and comfortable. The breakfast was okay for the price. The card key always disactivated automatically everytime we went back from a mall. So better left the card key in the receptionist.
• paul (8/5): Typical Ibis, know what your getting - Pleasant receptionists. View from 8th floor was good. Swimming pool. Shopping mall next door. Room perfectly fine. Clean water fountain in hallways The location is good if you take taxis but otherwise the location is not great for walking to sights. The swimming pool was not a calm space with too many children, fixing doors and prep for new year party. Always some noise happening. Building needs some touching up, water damage, dirty marks on walls.
