The hosts were welcoming, helpful, and made the whole experience seamless. Everything was exactly as described, and we felt very comfortable throughout our stay. A lovely place to stay while visiting Rome — would happily recommend and stay again!

Sarah (10/5): If I were to return to Rome, I would stay there again. - Location - far enough from tourist spots but close enough to get to. The apartment was big and that was great. It also had an in unit laundry which was very helpful for us cause we have a toddler. They also provided a crib and a high chair so that was wonderful. I wish they had a system that could make checking in easier. They require you to notify them 30 - 45 minutes before arrival since they don't have a formal lobby, but I forgot since I was traveling with my toddler.

The location was excellent...just a short walk to cafes, shops, the Colloseum, the Forum and other historical sites. Also, the neighbourhood was quiet, and it was convenient for the metro. La sera tornare a casa a piedi non è il massimo: molto buio e brutta gente. Le custode molto gentile. L’appartamento è bello e grande. Non tenuti benissimo (i muri sono molto segnati per esempio…) Le aree comuni non pulitissime. Se arrivi oltre le 19 (noi per esempio 19.45) ti richiedono 25€ per lo sforzo cash e senza ricevuta. Onestamente non penso sia corretto.

jean-pierre (8/5): bonne expérience - appartement très calme, bien décoré, très lumineux. propre. 2 chambres : lits confortables. 2 salles de bains. facile d'accès (ascenseur) proche du Colisée. dans la cuisine : pas d'essuie de cuisine, pas de râpe à fromage, pas de plat allant au four (impossible de faire un poulet ou une lasagne). Nous avons souvent été au restaurant, bien sûr, mais parfois nous aimons cuisiner à la maison. le chauffage dans les salles de bains de fonctionnait pas. impossible de sécher facilement les essuies de bains. Douche parapluie désagréable.

Very minor but would have liked some paper towel or extra kitchen tea-towels. But these things did not impact our stay.

Helen (8/5): Central, clean and spacious - The apartment was in a great location with great access to the main attractions and also the metro. It was clean and spacious. What let it down slightly was that it was fairly plain and bare. But if you want functional central accommodation, then this is a very good option for you.

Denise (9/5): Good, clean accommodation. - The apartments were clean and the beds quite comfortable. They were in a good location - not far from Colosseum and restaurants. I think the showers need to be a bit bigger. Plus I had a cold shower on our last day. And probably some more personal touches like some tissues for guests.

We walked to the Vatican 5 km and back. Walked to Pantheon, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps then back to Colosseo Gardens ! It is 10 minute walk to the colosseum. Air conditioning is great and very clean.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They gave wonderful recommendations on what to see, restaurants, stores…everything. When I come back to Rome I want to stay in this exact same place.

Area is quiet and feels safe, apartment is clean, spacious, beautiful, and with everything you need. Communication from owners/property managers is clear and immediate closer to your booking and during your stay. Would 100% book again.

Layale (4/5): Disappointed - First, we were checked in by the lady who was cleaning the room, with her wet gloves on, typing on the computer and touching our passports. She was rude to us from the start for no reason. We waited about 15-20 minutes to get the room. The sink and showerhead are in very bad condition and splash water everywhere. The dryer doesn't function. The walls are dirty. You only get one set of towels, no scott towels or tissues, no housekeeping included. The neighbourhood is very nice and safe and close to supermarket but it was far from the popular attractions in Rome, we needed 2 busses to get anywhere in the city. It is located on top of a hill so no matter which bus we took, we had to climb a lot of stairs to get to get back to the apartment.

The beds are comfortable and the Air Condition was great….it is walking distance to the coliseum and for the train station it’s about a 15 min walk. It’s about a 7 min walk to bus stops that can take you all around Rome

Laura (10/5): Perfect for our family - We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean and had all we needed. It had AC and even a washer/dryer. This is an apartment complex that makes you feel very safe. The caretaker, Precious, is super helpful. The location is also perfect. Walking distance from the Colosseum and an uber ride away from all else. We highly recommend this property.
Sharon (10/5): Excellent family apartment in Rome - The stay at the Colloseo Hotel was very good. Spacious and clean apartment . Communication with staff prior to arrival was effective and swift. The hotel is a a good money for value accomodation. Very suitable for families with 2 or 3 kids. The area of the hotel is quiet and secure. The nearest metro station is about a 10 min walk The Colosseum is situated 700 meters from the apartment. The property also offers shuttles from and to the international airport

Verified traveler (10/5): Great place to stay. - There was a huge contract to read and sign including having to take out the trash and clean the room before you left. Which I didn't appreciate. The apartment was amazing in all ways. I can't really say anything bad about it. The staff were reachable and kind and it felt super safe.

Andrea (10/5): - The apartment was in a perfect spot for exploring the main attractions of Rome for 72hours. It was clean, spacious, and comfortable-especially the a/c! It was in the 90s outside and we appreciated the coolness of the apartment. There’s a lift that is easy to access. The Colosseum and its Metro spot is about a 7-10 minute walk. Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon were about 20 minutes. A Conad grocery store is very close. There was no balcony or terrace, but we had plenty of time outside walking the city.

We did most of our tours on foot and truly enjoyed every step through the beautiful streets of Rome. Gladys was incredibly kind and helpful. She even arranged our transportation, which made everything so easy. I didn’t take photos of the property itself, but I’m sharing a picture of myself enjoying one of the peaceful moments by the window. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again with no hesitation on my next visit to Rome!

Hannah (10/5): - We are so happy we booked this 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment for our trip. It had all the amenities!! Even a washer/dryer. We went to the local supermarket and picked up breakfast items, snacks, waters with ease. There’s plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. One of the best steakhouses the Ornelli Steakhouse is a short walk. Make reservations! The washer/dryer is a single combination unit. It does dry - people wrote reviews saying they only had a washer but you can easily look up the user manual to learn how to use. Choose the wash cycle then choose the drying cycle for it to start immediately after. This was so useful as we packed very lightly and it was hot here! The location is perfect. Kitchen was well appointed, we cooked breakfast daily, coffee and cooked spaghetti our first night! Just open all the cupboards, oven and drawers and the items you need for cooking are all there. Everything you need is close by and the neighborhood is lovely. You can walk to the colosseum in 5 minutes. Highly recommend and will stay here when we return! The staff communicate extremely well with you via WhatsApp. They allowed us to check in an hour early because the room was ready, it was so generous of them! The place really is a game changer for your trip to Rome!
Shyam (10/5): - Would definitely recommend. Well maintained, very clean and helpful amenities (e.g. lift, washer/dryer, utensils, etc). There are plenty of plug sockets around the flat so charging multiple devices was not a problem. Our stay was in the summer months with temperatures being 30+ degrees celsius so the air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially during the nights. The property is ~5 mins walk from the colosseum and a similar distance to the train station and bus stops. There a few different parks nearby as well for an evening walk. Local shops have everything you might need and they're close by. The neighbourhood is quiet but felt very safe.
