Bed was very comfortable and room was spacious. Breakfast the next morning had more options than most hotels and our server (Lynda Bond) was GREAT! Most unique thing about downstairs in this hotel was the AMAZING QUANTITY of Christmas decorations, everywhere you looked! I’ve never been anywhere (hotel, store, someone’s home, business, etc. that decorated to that extent!

They also failed to tell me that breakfast ended at 9 so Ellen I came down at 9:15 there weren’t any options. There is a restaurant attached so I didn’t know it only opened certain times. I booked this hotel specifically because it listed an airport shuttle as an amenity. There is no hotel shuttle so I had to pay and extra $40 to get from and back to the airport. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly just lacked attention to detail and communication.

- riccg2021 (6/5): Full of Surprises! - This was our first overnight on a week long motorcycle excursion through the Ozarks in Arkansas and Missouri. Our room was in order. And it was clean and the bathroom was what we had requested with a roll in shower, because I am disabled. From that point on, things became a little peculiar. My wife and I were on a Harley Davidson, and we asked if we could park under the front covering of the hotel. We were told that was not possible, because there is no parking in that area at all. When I asked, who is driving the big BMW parked there in the no parking zone between 2 large No Parking sign, I was told it was the manager's car. I replied, "I see she leads by example." It turned out that the car belonged to the COO of the company. There is a restaurant on-site and we asked what the hours of operation were. We were told the restaurant opens at 5 o'clock. We made our way down to the restaurant at 5 o'clock and there were no employees anywhere in the restaurant. We waited a while and then went out on the patio. And found a table. We waited about 15 minutes periodically going in to see if any employees had arrived. My wife finally went in grabbed menus and told the general manager that we were sitting on the patio. He replied oh okay, thank you. Still, no servers came to take care of us. I went back inside and found a bartender behind the bar. I told her that my wife and I had been sitting on the patio for 15 minutes and nobody had taken care of us. She replied, "I'm the bartender." Then, she asked me if I had signed the book. I questioned her what book? She replied there is a book there by the entrance that all guests have to sign, if they are going to purchase alcohol. I asked her what the purpose of that was and she said, because the owners say so. I said nobody told us anything about a book. But I will be happy to sign your book so that we can get some cocktails. The food we ordered was ok. The service, however, was wonderful. Our server was Vickie and she was a breath of fresh air. She was very attentive and personable. She was the saving grace of our stay. I would like to say I recommend this hotel and I am sure that there are some who would find everything fine. But after 50 years in the hospitality industry, I was disappointed. So, this is not the end of the story. When we left the restaurant, my wife ordered a flatbread to go. It's was thrown into a Styrofoam container like a mess. I returned it to the front desk. I spoke with general manager and he seemed confused. When I shared our experience up to this point, he looked at me with indifference. I don't think he could have cared less. I asked for a refund for the food and he said OK, but it never came. The Chief Operations Officer (BMW) needs to pay keener attention to her responsibilities at this property. I was hesitant to write this review because so many people gave the property decent reviews. That's why I rarely trust reviews. I doubt that I will receive any response from the property management.

The breakfast buffet was an add-on to the room cost. Very poor. Everything was cold, and not very good. Would’ve been upset to pay full price for the breakfast. Decorations in bar area were interesting.

- Courtney (2/5): Never ever again - Overwhelming smell of smoke from restaurant to lobby was the first bad impression, walking the hallway to room- look up and you’ll see mold or rust on tile after tile, room had a crack tub basin that had been sloppily caulked over, someone’s buggers (mucus) was left on the wall by bed pillows. Air conditioner worked. Needs a complete remodel and deep cleaning. Thought I was booking the other similar property in the same town. Pay attention! This one is horrible. We got up and left at 5 am.

The noise from footsteps from floor above and on the same floor was a little disturbing on the hard floors when trying to sleep. All staff was awesome.
- Timothy (4/5): Absolutely Livid!! - Falsely accused of damaging blinds that we never touched. We literally walked in, showered, then slept. Funny thing is, they gave us the $50 incidentals deposit back then took another $100 out. I have yet to get any proof of this damage other than their word for it. We have stayed here other times and have never had an issue. Won’t be going back.

- stacie (6/5): Uncomfortable Room - All the hotel staff were top notch and wonderful. The room was not so great. It stayed freezing cold. The floors were sticky and wet feeling and my clothes that I hung up in the closet were damp feeling the next day. There were watermelon seeds everywhere on the floor and just didn't look swept or mopped and just overall didn't feel like it was as clean as it could.

It's always great to come every year and the staff doesn't change much and they always remember us and look forward to the rally coming. My room was clean, just needed extra towels and rags which wasn't a problem but then they it never is. Always love seeing Melissa and Lynda. Lynda runs that kitchen and restaurant like an old pro, which she is! Between Lynda and Shanna, the night cook plus other restaurant and kitchen staff, it was smooth sailing. Lynda always has a huge smile. I can't remember the new girl's name, but she was fantastic as well! During breakfasts, the food was replenished quickly and nobody was left waiting. I look forward to next year and seeing these good folks again! ___________________________________________________________ Another great experience at this hotel!! This year we used the convention center also. Two years straight, this hotel and staff have been amazing!!! In the picture Lee, Lynda & I believe Dennis are missing but ALL were amazing!!! Lee would help get stuff together before it was time for Lynda to come in then Lynda would work on making sure we had breakfast in time for us to head out on our ride. Love this hotel and staff!!! Stephanie, let's not forget Stephanie!! Even though the ladies weren't able to come into our rooms and clean, she made sure I had everything I needed, plus!!!! The room was clean when I arrived. I have absolutely zero complaints, nothing but good!
- D7216BPpatt (10/5): You will feel the love! - We love staying at this hotel! We feel it is a very undervalued location and we always enjoy it. Having the bar and restaurant on site is wonderful. Food and drinks are fabulous! But the main pleasure of this hotel is the staff: whether front desk, restaurant or housekeeping, everyone is friendly and welcoming. And they have real oatmeal on the breakfast buffet (something which is disappearing from other IHG properties). If you want comfort and a welcoming atmosphere, you won't find a better hotel than this.
- M5662OAcarriem (6/5): Needs some improvement!! - The room was clean but housekeeping didn’t make the beds everyday and just set towels on the bathroom sink instead of on the rack like usual. The USB plugs in the lamps were broken, so we had to charge our phones on the opposite side of the room. The continental breakfast left something to be desired. The food offering wasn’t that great, many people in our group were disappointed, not to mention some of our group were allergic to the majority of what was served so they could only eat toast and bacon, which wasn’t much of a meal. The server asked if there was anything they could get us, we asked for sweet tea and a coca-cola as some of us don’t drink 2% milk, juice, water, or coffee, and we were told that soft drinks weren’t served at breakfast. Some of our group were overcharged for drinks at the hotel bar. Sign said margaritas were $8 but they were charged $14. Candy bars from their little market are overpriced at $2.50 each. Cans of soda during the event were $3 each, which was a little excessive. One person’s credit card was charged twice for the one hamburger they ordered from the hotel restaurant.
- charliebL1869DF (4/5): Great service w/ bad management - My family and I (4) came in overnight and the front desk lady was very sweet, comfortable bed, a weird smell in our room, not great water pressure..they might want to have that looked at, hot coffee throughout the night was very very nice, very cool pool, and breakfast was amazing. Our server CeAira was so sweet, helpful, friendly and bubbly that early but unfortunately we watched her get yelled at by her boss about a parfait cup, which is not how she should’ve handled that. The manager Lynda (with a y) needs to learn how to talk to her employees and show some appreciation. Other than that breakfast was hot, crispy bacon, yummy French toast, and chocolate croissants..also loved the parfaits!

- Companion39579625669 (10/5): Pleasantly surprised!!! - We were pleasantly surprised by this Holiday Inn. We checked in at 9:30 pm and decided to stay at the hotel for our dinner meal. We ate outside on the patio as the area was relaxing and comfortable. The food was very good and service was excellent. We were given breakfast vouchers for the next morning and was told that the breakfast was excellent as we were checking in. The breakfast area is decorated and has a bright and cheerful vibe. The food is excellent and Lynda was a most helpful hostess. Our overall stay was excellent.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great weekend stay - This was a great stay. The rooms were wonderful, the a/c worked perfect, good hot water with very good water pressure and comfortable beds. The breakfasts were great as well, and Ms. Lynda and her crew are quick to make sure you have everything you need. It was also walking distance to several restaurants. The only down side was if you're in room 220, you have the music from the bar below you to keep you company until 11pm. Not horrible, but pretty loud.

We had family from town visit us and the staff at the bar served food all the up to closing time and clean up time. So friendly and attentive. - Verified traveler (2/5): terrible experience, heaters don't work - when we arived the room was ice cold, we turned on the heater to find out it was not working. we notified the front desk and she came to the room and had zero knowledge how to even turn the heater on, i had to help her, she then calls a reapair man, who changed a filter and spraid a chemical in the heater that we had to smell all night, and he said "they never fix anything here this is just what it is", i was never offered any acomidations for the trouble, a refund or even a change in room. zero follow up from repair guy to see if the heater ever worked and zero follow up from the front desk. terrible experience for myself and my three children. will never come back again.
- Donna (8/5): Great 1-night stop! - We stayed for 1 night and it was perfect. The restaurant was all decorated for a Mardi Gras party/dinmer. The room was clean. No carpet & bed comforter was thin. The breakfast was one of the best free breakfast buffets we’ve had. And service was superb.

- Karen (4/5): Disappointing this time - Normally our stays at this particular hotel are top quality which is why I was so surprised this time. Lobby and check in was great, the room was very nice, smaller than normal but still clean, comfortable and nice. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as they usually are but still decent. The problem was there was an “event “ going on downstairs and the music was loud and reverberating until well after midnight and the room above us evidently had some partygoers who continued the celebration upstairs and being sandwiched between the two we were not able to get much sleep. If I had not had several very good experiences at this particular facility I would suggest avoiding it, but next time before I book I’m going to have to remember to check to see if there are any parties expected
