- joaqu_nv174 (10/5): Amazing Hotel in Downtown Tampa - This hotel is amazing, and it’s in a really good spot. It’s well-maintained, and the staff is fantastic, so friendly and attentive, especially Sophia at the coffee shop and Mikeasha at the front desk! I had an amazing stay!!

- Escape64982990597 (10/5): Hotel Flor - Beautiful hotel
Convenient to Riverfest we attended
Sophia in coffee cafe was wonderful
She remembered our coffee order from the day before and prepared everything with perfection
Restaurant was not as good as coffee shop
- I1055CVdonaldj (10/5): Service was fantastic! - Stefany did a Great Job!
Breakfast was Great!
- Cruiser06321423780 (10/5): Great service at Hotel Flor - Hotel Flor has been a great experience. All of their staff is so friendly and helpful. Including their shuttle drivers, Mike and Shantel. Shantel went above and beyond by offering to drive us to a different ice cream shop since the one we found had slow service. Then she parked the shuttle and waited for me so I could go through the line. Wow! I felt like a celebrity with my own personal Uber. She rocks!
- 905lorris (10/5): Wonderful People Doing an Awesome Job! - Dylan, Raul and Nester are doing a great job at the Valet Station for Hotel Flor! Everyone has been so nice, so helpful and very quick to help! It makes a vacation seem so wonderful when you get to meet people who truly want to help you!
- Andres (10/5): Thank you for the outstanding service and professionalism.- - Outstanding service from valet parking, restaurant, front desk reception, staff and room. Unique experience. Professionalism at its best. Thank you.-
- fconorozzo (8/5): Good location, near Street car - Rooms were clean, extra-large and had all Toiletry, haor dryer, etc.
Accessibilty is weird. Main floor is up one floor from street on Cass Ave. There is also another entrance on the side where you can access the elevator (N Florida Ave), instead of the stair case to the Lobby. Staff overhelpful, especially since Valet lost our car keys, for over 5 hours!
Found them in cup holder of another Car!
Staff provided local information and eating suggestions. They have a discount Breakfast place on street level floor. Also has other food options there.
There is Parking near by, but you might as well get the Valet for the $10 more.
Hopefully they don't lose your key.
Can walk few blocks to free Street Car. Get map or download it.
- Pamela (6/5): Nice rooms but - Nice large room and bathroom. Some traffic noise. Our toilet didn't flush good and by the middle of the night was totally broken and running we had to keep the doors shut. Also the alarm went off at 5:00 in the morning they still have old school alarm clocks I'm surprised the housekeeping doesn't check that that was very upsetting after being at a concert late night. When I told the receptionist the next morning I just got an "oh sorry". Over a hotel is nice parking is pricey. The restaurant was good.

- 264kimberlyj (8/5): Beautiful place - Beautiful place, the room was very spacious and beautiful as well. We got complimentary waters every day. We needed to use the shuttle and sadly it never worked so we had to get ubers. Other than that. Everything was great, about a mile from the wharf and more of the downtown central stuff.(posted all my pics in Google review)
- richardwc2021 (10/5): Our wedding location - I needed to write this view in order to convey how wonderful it was to work with Amalfi Lopez to plan our wedding at the hotel floor.
Amalfi took over our wedding plan from another coordinator. From the beginning, she m
Her exact words were I will do everything to make sure that this day is as special as you expect. That was accomplished!
Starting with set up, there were a lot of things that needed to be in place.
Backdrops behind the wedding table, place settings exactly the way we wanted them to be. She took such an effort, that out of her own pocket she picked up little things such as candles that were exactly right for our table. If I named everything she did, we’d be here all day. Without a hitch, she made sure that the coordination of the DJ , delivery of the wedding cake and making sure all of our guests were checked in. The passing out bags for our out-of-towners. She put in extra time to coordinate our sound would be heard in all areas of our wedding from cocktail hour to the end of the reception with the DJ.
Her listening skills were the Primary reason for the success of how our plans come together juggling many things.
Just a few examples shown above.
To finish I would like to say that, even as we were checking out the next day, we were not rushed, and the staff had everything packed for us so all we had to do is loaded in the car and leave.
I would like to thank Amalfi and the Hotel Flor for our day was “Perfect” !

- maddiesN6079FF (10/5): Hotel Flor - Wedding Venue - We couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Hotel Flor for our wedding.
One of the most unique aspects of Hotel Flor is its stunning 1920s-inspired style. It truly feels like stepping into another era. That vintage charm is such a big part of its beauty, with timeless details and an atmosphere that made our entire day feel romantic, elegant, and unforgettable. Every space photographed beautifully, and our guests couldn’t stop commenting on how unique and gorgeous the venue was.
Another huge highlight was the amount of space available for guests. Whether it was the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception, everything felt open, comfortable, and never crowded. It allowed everyone to spread out, relax, and fully enjoy the celebration, which made such a difference in the overall experience.
Our guests also loved the convenience of having everything in one place—from the ceremony to the reception to accommodations—which made the whole experience feel like a special getaway for everyone.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue, I can’t recommend Hotel Flor enough. It truly made our wedding day everything we dreamed of and more.
- 435marvf (10/5): BREAKFAST SERVER - Gabby and Stefany made us feel like family, they paid attention to every detail of our breakfast and provided exceptional service, we would definitely come back for them…
- jeanjobe (10/5): BREAKFAST at the hotel - Stefany and Gabby are truly the best in the world at what they do. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail stand out from the very beginning. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is done perfectly, and you can tell they genuinely care about their work and the people they serve.
Working with them was an amazing experience—everything felt smooth, organized, and stress-free. I highly recommend Stefany and Gabby to anyone looking for top-quality service. You won’t be disappointed.
- K4615KDmarvinf (10/5): Exceptional - Gabby and Stefany where amazing food was great
- John (10/5): Enjoyable - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- Shannon (2/5): To sum up the stay, the inconvenience is in cost or not worth it. I could’ve gotten the same and result inequality in f - The entire property has been overhauled, leaving little to be desired. I can understand upgrading, but to literally remove all the characteristics of the hotel’s history is disheartening. The first room we were in smelled like mold and mildew, with frayed carpeting. The second room we were moved to had a piercing sound that the maintenance man couldn't figure out, and said the same issue was on multiple floors. My husband realized it was the refrigerator compressor after unplugging the refrigerator. It stopped. We made sure to let the front desk know what was going on so that all the other floors could be corrected. We were given breakfast for two at the Dan. Lots of hidden fees that were not explained up front. The total out of pocket coat as a FL resident was over $1000 just to sleep there for two nights? Valet parking was also not explained, so we made sure to let the front desk know that all required amenities be explained to all guests. It was stated there was a large sign that you can’t miss? Well on Friday night that was not the case. The worst part about the whole thing is this is supposed to be a completely redone and overhauled hotel for the better???
- Stacy (7/5): Its was short but very nice! - The room was spacious. The bathroom was big and clean.. bed was very comfortable and the AC in room was great! The Tv didnt connect, and no I didn't call the front desk. Other than that the small issue i had on the bill the front desk too care of it immediately, upon check out.
Last thing, the eggs for breakfast.... they were mixed eggs not fresh. Very disappointing, for a restaurant to not he able to scramble eggs and it be a mix.
- katieaS178AD (10/5): Amazing - We had such an amazing experience at the hotel! The valet experience was outstanding. Dylan at valet made our trip.
He was very timely and kind whenever he took our car! 10/10 experience, every aspect of the trip was amazing!
- 794PatriciaH794 (10/5): Comfortable and convenient - The location was good considering it was an alternate location because the primary one was undergoing major construction. The atmosphere was good, the rooms nice and spacious.
General cleaning is good (could use extra attention to details around the baseboard).
The value for the room is on point, but you know in Florida you pay all those extra taxes, but overall that was still a good deal four days.
Valet parking (not optional), outstanding. The car was ready when it was supposed to be, they even got things out of my car for me after parking it, so I really appreciated that.
The street noise even from the 7th floor wasn’t too bad, but if you’re a light sleeper, you might wanna go higher.
The shuttle service… PRIMO
- broadlinec (10/5): Best Coffee. Best Sevice to top it off. - Sophia. Pure joy to when it comes to taking care of us. She is going places!!
- doriey2023 (10/5): Great experience - Hotel service was great, staff was professional and all valet staff were amazing! Thanks Miguel.
- Dennis (6/5): - Front desk staff was friendly and the bed was comfortable. Housekeeping made our bed one of the days and somehow left a very wet spot on one side if the bed. They just skipped our service the next day. The refrigerator in our room was so loud I was forced to turn it off. Just not what one would expect for the price.
- 155meaganc (10/5): Excellent. - Sophia barista at Cass st coffee was absolutely lovely and excellent at her job
Clean, you need to walk.
As a single female there were unmanned doors and keycard entry, so it would be pretty easy for people off the street to enter the floors away and nor pass by the front desk
- erest2026 (8/5): Historic - Nice large room with a good view. Shout to Abu, the front desk clerk who checked me in and made me feel very welcomed. The Cass St cafe in the lobby was great and a special shout out to Sophia, the barista who served up delicious lattes all week. Truly the highlight of my stay. One downside was the condition of the elevators, one of which had been out of service for years, and the other two each had moments when they got stuck with guests inside.
- Z5271REtonys (8/5): Overall great. I'd come back. - The restaurant staff are great. Stefany especially. She's very attentive and professional.
- abigaildI7029IQ (10/5): Hotel stay - We stayed here to attend a wedding. Location wise, it was very convenient, it is close to Tampa airport. There’s a lot restaurants to choose from. Rooms were clean. We see for extra pillows and blanket, it was delivered in just few minutes. Good customer service over all.
- danielhD5596ZM (10/5): Top Notch Valet and Service - Valet service was impeccable. Management at all levels took very good care of my wife and I during our wedding weekend.
- Johnny (10/5): Beautifully remodeled! - We loved the newly remodeled hotel. It was very clean and well lit. The Dan Restaurant on the first floor was really good. We had breakfast there and it was a wonderful experience. You can't go wrong with the Eggs Benedict! Valet was friendly and professional. We stayed on the ninth floor and for some reason we had to let the hot water run for about ten minutes before it actually got hot. Not sure if there was an issue with the hot water. On the 3rd day it seems as if the problem was solved because the hot water got hot in about 30 seconds. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel. Highly recommended!
- Renee (5/5): - Rude staff in restaurant Dan
- O4620QAjeanh (8/5): Sunshine Crew - Sophia at the coffee shop made early morning volleyball a pleasure! The front desk is always smiling and happy to help, as well!
- rogerpO7826ME (10/5): Stellar customer service with a - What a beautiful time kept hotel. So many unique nuances of history throughout the establishment. So happy we chose to stay here. We also want to take a moment to shout out a stellar review for Mikesha C. who worked the front desk. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and didn’t ask for anything in return. Management, pay attention to this rising star. You have a good one working for you.
- tliker (4/5): Avoid, unless you enjoy 20 minute elevator waits and weak water pressure - I’d avoid this hotel. There are much better options in Tampa. Service standard is no better than a limited service hotel. Water pressure is comical (really difficult if you like washing shampoo out of your hair) and of the 3 elevators, only 1 works….which leads to 20+ minute waits for the elevator. The reception desk said every day of my stay that “management is aware of the problem”, but evidently they’re not inclined to address it. It was my own fault for booking - this hotel is notoriously poor but the pictures make me think new ownership invested in it, but I was wrong. I hope this review deters others from making the same mistake.
- Preston (2/5): Dreadful place. - Location is about the only redeemable quality about this place. Hilton should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this property. The place is borderline uninhabitable. One functional 5x5 elevator in a 19 story building, air conditioning hardly works (thermostat says “clean filter”), no ice on any floor, dirty bathrooms, all for $600 a night. If this wasn’t the only remaining available room in the area this weekend I would’ve left after check in.
The front desk was very friendly and helpful, so this is no reflection on them, but the property is an absolute dump under the guise of “historic”. If you want comfort and amenities that you’d assume come with a $600 a night hotel, do not stay in this glorified Fairfield Inn.
- Q1473GFstephanier (10/5): Work Trip 2026 - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I really enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Flor Tampa Downtown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. The staff is incredibly friendly and always goes the extra mile to make sure guests are happy. Cass Coffee was my first stop every morning—thank you, Sophia, for all of the cold brews! The matcha there is also excellent.
The hotel has beautiful architecture with a charming vintage feel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. I also loved the food and lively atmosphere at The Dan. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back.
- Marian334 (10/5): Grand Stay at a Grand Boutique Property - What a glorious stay at this restored property. Real attention to detail to make your stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, sparkled in the light, and remodeled with beautiful bathrooms, fine amenities. Ask for a corner room on a high floor - very nice. The Dan Restaurant and Bar has a wonderful vibe - with no expense spared at restoring this period hotel! Gorgeous lighting, staff was courteous and helpful. You can feel the pride in this wonderful property. The food was excellent, the bar menu and Happy Hour very nice and generous. I cannot wait to return to this great property. There is a free shuttle that transports you anywhere in a 3 mile radius. Downtown Tampa is a real gem for exploration.
- normbeck (8/5): Two nights in Tampa - Had a great stay at the Hotel Flor. Room was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The staff were very friendly and lobby was very lovely . Great having water in the lobby at all times but would have liked coffee in the lobby early in the morning as well. Wish they would have told us we needed to ask for housekeeping to be done. We needed coffee pods and fresh towels and had to get them from the front desk since we were not serviced daily. All in all though, I would definitely stay there again
- 98deef (10/5): Cool experience! - Front desk clerk, Abu was fantastic during our stay. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the hotel and the surrounding area. He took the time to share helpful information and great suggestions for things to do, which made our visit even better. Excellent service and a genuinely great guy!
- nijahf2021 (10/5): Good location, great bar/restaurant, amazing service!! - Our stay was great! The room was nice and personalized to us. The shuttle was a life saver and an added perk we didn’t even know about! The service was amazing and Nicholas specifically was so nice and helpful throughout our stay. I don’t usually write reviews but his service was just so good I had to make sure he got credit for his work!!
- MHTN24 (10/5): Breakfast at The Dan in Tampa - We appreciate the attentiveness Stefany and Gabby have given us during breakfast at The Dan Restaurant. They go out of their way to make sure our breakfast experience is pleasant. They have made our stay enjoyable here in Tampa.
- U7868MXsandraf (10/5): Breakfast at Cass Street Cafe - Sofía At Cass Street Cafe was extremely kind when taking our breakfast order.
She is very knowledgeable with the ingredients in the sandwiches.
Really like her approach.
Will be back !
The turkey croissant was delicious .
- T1354RUjillk (10/5): Sophia - Sophia at the Coffee Cafe was amazing! She was so kind and attentive even though she was so busy.
- John (10/5): Was good - Great hotel, very clean and comfortable. Would recommend.
- tobio846 (2/5): SERVICE IS NOT A PRIORITY - Disappointment is an understatement.I stayed here over Valentine’s Day weekend and deeply regret my choice. For $400 a night, you expect basic hospitality and a place to sleep—I got neither.
Hostile Check-in: I called ahead to confirm a late check-in, yet the valet was incredibly rude upon my arrival. He tried to block me from entering, insinuating I wasn’t a guest and demanding a room key before I had even been allowed to check in.
Safety & Noise: At 8:00 AM, maintenance began drilling into the brick wall directly outside my window. My 6-month-old baby was sleeping in a crib inches from that wall. The noise was so deafening that when I called the front desk to complain, I couldn't even hear the staff member on the phone.
Clueless Management: The front desk had no idea work was even being performed. It’s unprofessional and careless to book guests—especially those with infants—in rooms adjacent to active construction without any warning or courtesy.
Save your money. There is a total lack of internal communication here, and they clearly do not value their guests’ experience.
- hopeo676 (10/5): Coffee with a Smile! - Sophia in the coffee shop was a delight! Answered questions, made a great coffee and the perfect amount of pleasant conversation on a stressful morning!
- lisapW1868GK (10/5): We ate at the Dan and had awesome service from Stepany. She was attentive and sweet. A great restaurant Wonderful - We had an amazing experience w Stepany. She was sweet and very attentive. We appreciated the conversation and connection. Wonderful!
- Adventure68368188067 (4/5): Difficult to get in touch with for information - The problem with the hotel is that I have been trying to obtain some information from the hotel regarding a booking for Oct 2026. I sent emails to the email address on the website and all 3 were returned as "non deliverable". I found two generic emails on the internet and these were returned as undeliverable mentioning a recipient server problem. Undeterred I contacted Hilton Honours who gave me another email for the hotel - this didnt get a rejection but nobody acknowledged, replied or sent any information. I therefore sent a letter about 3 weeks ago asking for the same information. I havent heard anything back on the letter either. I didnt think the information request was difficult or too involved so its disappointing (poor) that its so difficult to get in touch with the hotel. Another hotel in downtown Tampa provided similar information within 3 hours.
- I1340HEbarbarab (10/5): Beautiful views, clean room, excellent guest service - Beautiful, clean room. Nicholas at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. Food at the restaurant, delicious. Big shout out to Nicholas, keep leading the way!
- AndyO289 (8/5): Liked it - Nice hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Close to the Riverwalk, close to the Tampa Wall Postcard. The Dan Restaurant on the main floor.
- J7648QDjanel (10/5): Well worth a visit - Excellent hotel, very clean, room was large and comfortable and very clean. Ideally located for everything. Small restaurant for breakfast considering the amount of rooms. We waited an hour to get breakfast
- pacificoal (10/5): Nice place - Very nice, comfortable hotel. The amenities were nice. Staff was excellent. The gentleman that drove the shuttle. Mr. Torres was fantastic.
- V7108LBkevinr (10/5): Outstanding Service - We had an outstanding weekend for my son’s wedding. The staff could not have been more helpful. I would like to recognize Miguel and Jhon the valets who not only took care of our vehicles but helped us transporting all our wedding supplies in addition to our luggage. They went over and above for us!!
- Y4804MDkw (10/5): Great Coffee Shop - I stay at the Flor on a regular basis. Sophia at Cass Street Coffee is amazing! She is always so friendly and the coffee is excellent. Best part of my stay.
- rudyinfante (10/5): Fabulous shuttle service!!! - While the location is less than desirable for walking in the cold to the convention center, the shuttle service operated by Ulises Torres was remarkable! It was always available within 5 minutes. If I had another shot of staying in Tampa, it would be at the Hotel Flor.
- 436candisec (10/5): Great staff and beautiful hotel - Ulises T. Was so helpful and kind! This hotel goes above and beyond. Thank you for a great experience.
Shantel and Mikesha were also so amazing! They helped me and my family get around downtown safely 😁
- Kathryn (9/5): Lovely boutique feel hotel with perfect charm and modern balance in good location - room 1906 was so spacious and lovely. The staff at check out with kind keeping out luggage. The bed was nice, comfortable with nice linens. Loved the furniture in the room, bathroom was spacious. Lovely large windows and view I wish they had bell service. The Den was a good restaurant but more kid options/dessert would be nice. The charm of the hotel was intact but modern convenience was there too! I would stay again- easy to walk to the Straz Center. The club on the corner was a little loud (Echo) and lots of trash the next day was dissappointing- the hotel can't control that but it's too bad. More lighting in room needed.

- 462crystall (6/5): Exemplary customer support - While I would rate Hotel Flora a 3 out of 5 overall, the customer service was an absolute 5 out of 5—and truly made our stay memorable. While the hotel is definitely dated and the rooms are in need of some repair, Mikesha C. and Shantel M. at the front desk and driving the shuttle went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, appreciated, and genuinely valued. Their professionalism, warmth, and willingness to help at every turn were phenomenal and deserve special recognition.
Mikesha even accompanied my husband in a search for my son’s iPad, which had been left in the restaurant the night before following an incredible wedding after-party. Thanks to her diligence, the iPad was later found safely locked in an office.
I also want to extend heartfelt thanks to Gabby in the Don for the exceptional care she showed us each morning. She made every dining experience feel personal and special—and the surprise of a muffin and candle to help celebrate my birthday was such a thoughtful and touching gesture.
We were deeply grateful to celebrate not only my birthday, but also the beautiful wedding of my son to his new bride. The wedding reception venue was top-notch from beginning to end, and the celebration wrapped up perfectly—watching a Chicago Bears win, enjoying fabulous cocktails, and great pizza.
Thank you to all the staff who made this milestone celebration feel so special. The service truly made the difference.

- G8495DRrobertp (10/5): Excellent service! - My experience with Mikesha C. was wonderful. When I realized I had to check my devices which were not allowed in the federal courthouse, she happily assisted and helped reduce the amount of time it took me to get by to the courthouse. Even when I realized I left my ID in the bag and came back for it, she handled it all with a smile. Overall wonderful experience.

- elizabethbO2523UQ (10/5): Best Tamps Hotel Ever!!!! - I’ve stayed at a lot of Hilton hotels and this one is a new favorite! Absolutely love the incorporation of the old 1920s architecture with modern amenities. Fantastic location, design all the things and super clean highly recommend.

- matteO2301JH (10/5): Great shuttle experience! - The shuttle was an extremely valuable part of our experience at Hotel Flor. Ulises Torres was an incredible driver and very personable and professional.
- ctsnat (10/5): Would absolutely stay again - We stayed at the Hotel Flor during my daughter‘s lacrosse tournament and would absolutely stay again. The rooms were clean, ready a bit early and the valet was quick and easy. The bar was wonderful, but the best amenity is the hotel shuttle service and drivers, especially Ulises Torres. We would absolutely stay here again the next time we are in town!
- U3373XUkimf (10/5): Amazing stay and service! - We were in town for the Stevie Nicks concert and our stay was amazing! The location was perfect proximity to the arena and the shuttle got us everywhere we needed, even to and from the concert! Our room was fantastic with an extremely comfortable bed and tons of space. I usually struggle with hotel pillows; however, these were fantastic and I had a great night sleep both nights😊. Our shuttle driver, Ulises Torres was fantastic! He took us to the arena, dropped us off right at the front door, then made sure to let us know where he could pick us up after the concert! When we didn’t see him, he directed us where to find him and he was kind and patient! Overall, it was a great experience!
- J1296JTamberp (10/5): Overnight for concert nearby - Checked in and quick got ready for our concert. Valet was difficult but the hotel is beautiful! We really appreciated shuttle service and community. Ulises was our driver and he was fabulous!
- dawnmI8201RY (10/5): Stevie concert - Took the shuttle to the arena friendly staff driver clean accommodations! Highly recommend! Will be returning’ try the expression martini st Dans!
- billaG3030IP (10/5): Nine place - Great location and super clean and friendly staff. I have never been in a hotel this clean and nice. Stayed for a comedy show at the Tampa Theater which you can walk to in about 10 minutes. Parking was valet and worth it as its really hard to find parking downtown Tampa. Bar menu for food could be a little better but was OK. Would stay again.
- Chughes38 (10/5): La Colombe in Tampa! Good Service, Delicious and Nice Environment! - My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel and were so excited to find out that the coffee shop downstairs served La Colombe coffee - we visited 4 times during our trip and will definitely come back. Sophia makes a great coffee and we appreciate her service during our visits. Thank you!!
- Terry (10/5): Highly recommend this hotel - Perfect No complaints
- B4099KSren_em (10/5): Bartending experience - Max was an amazing bartender. I thought he was so amazing I asked for his card to leave a review. Just a great experience and very classy. Will definitely come again!!!
- Sightseer61222218956 (10/5): Shuttle to Cruise Terminal is 5 Stars! - We had a lovely stay for one night before our cruise. It was walking distance along the waterfront to our favourite Tampa restaurant Ulele. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. We were very relaxed after our day of travel. We ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was very good. I wish there was signage that told you it was “seat yourself”. The best part of our stay was the help we received from Ulises Torres. He was the shuttle driver and was able to bring my family to the cruise terminal. It saved us so much stress and we were truly thankful for his help. He definitely made us more comfortable to book this hotel again in the future just for the cruise shuttle service. I would recommend any friends to stay here especially if they have a cruise planned.

- Cruiser17315361260 (10/5): JJ ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF - Absolutely loved my experience here! My server Jj was Top Tier, he was very helpful from start to finish. Very attentive and on top of everything! I will definitely be back to eat here, If you come ask for JJ. Also the live music was beautiful, I had the steak frites and it was delicious!
- sannamoo (8/5): Downtown Tampa hotel - This hotel, situated in downtown Tampa, is near several cafes within walking distance. Additionally, there is a coffee shop on the ground floor of the building.
The room was clean and spacious, but it seemed quite simple compared to other hotels we've stayed at. On the bright side, the breakfast was of good quality, and the staff provided excellent service.
- lwC6114WT (10/5): Great renovated property - Another great stay at the property! Beautifully renovated and best Hilton property by far in Tampa. I highly recommend.
- 728johnathanh (10/5): Awesome - Outstanding experience! The transport employee was on time, professional, courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable ride from start to finish. Highly recommend! Ulisses is the man
- K3911MWcarolc (10/5): Excellent service - Came into town for a cruise. Brady and his team made sure we had everything we needed! Even printed our cruise passes. Thank you so much for making this trip easy !
- Y1755SIkellyc (10/5): I recommend this Hotel and its pet friendly! - We had a lovely stay, comfortable hotel beds! Staff was kind, helpful and gracious. The Hotel is brimming w/ character.
- Sue (8/5): - Great location and wonderful staff
- robq257 (10/5): Exceptional Customer Service and Chic Hotel - Stayed here for the ICMA CONF 6 nights. It's an exceptional hotel with proximity to Ybor City and Downtown Tampa. In addition Enterprise car rental is only a few blocks away.
The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant one. In particular, Gabby, Stefany and Seth were true Hotel Flor customer service ambassadors. The Team at the front desk were very hospitable and the room service cleaning team were very helpful. Thank you
- J3324SBmandyt (10/5): Start your day with the best latte with Sophia - Hotel Flor was a great place to stay with wonderful accommodations. Make sure to start your morning off with Sophia in the coffee shop. She makes an excellent latte and will brighten your day.
- 327gloriaw (10/5): Our experience - The hotel itself was amazing, and the food at Dan’s was great! Jada, the bartender, was absolutely the best—friendly, accommodating, and such a pleasure to interact with. However, the real standout was the shuttle bus driver, Ulises! His parents truly raised him right—he was incredibly respectful, kind, and refreshing to meet. I wish everyone provided the same level of customer service that Jada and Ulises did!
Unfortunately, our experience wasn’t perfect. When the toilet in our first room (1815) stopped working, the customer service response was extremely disappointing—especially given the price we paid for our stay. My husband and I are loyal Hilton guests, but the front desk night staff at this location definitely needs additional training.
What made things worse was feeling like the level of service varied depending on who was being helped. We couldn’t help but notice that guests who didn’t look like us received far more attentive and friendly service—they were treated like royalty, while our interactions felt dismissive and indifferent.
Later that night, around 11 p.m., we had to change rooms to the 19th floor. When we requested a cart to move our belongings, it was simply dropped off in front of our door without any notice—we only discovered it by chance.
To make matters worse, we had just checked out of another Hilton property, Hotel Tampa Riverwalk, because their air conditioning wasn’t working and the customer service there was equally poor.
Overall, while parts of our stay were wonderful—especially thanks to Jada and Ulises—the inconsistent and disappointing customer service from the front desk staff really left a negative impression. Hilton can and should do better.
- keithdb2013 (10/5): A nice place to stay in a great town! - The rooms are large and clean, the staff is very helpful and friendly. If you’re in town to see the sights, the hotel’s shuttle is a lifesaver. We met Ulises, our driver, and he was awesome and got us around town and to and from the streetcar stops. Super friendly guy and super quick to pick you up or drop you off!
- P7998HPanned (10/5): Hotel shuttle was that extra bonus that will make us pick Hotel Flor again! - Hotel stay was fantastic! Ulises Torres drove us several times in the shuttle around town. He was friendly and showed such great customer service skills.
