- Martha (7/5): Good night’s sleep, but otherwise, a mediocre experience, especially for the price. - Location was great. Bed was comfortable. I slept well, which is the most important part. The toilet was loose (I let multiple staff know) The water temp in shower fluctuated uncomfortably. The sink faucet leaked a bit. The breakfast was just okay. But they need drinking water and some kind of cleaning water station. I boiled over my oatmeal in the microwave and had to clean it up using dry napkins.

I did, however, eat at the connected bar, and that was an enjoyable experience. I really didn't have any complaints. Everything with my room was acceptable.

Well as most travelers we got there about 1 1/2 hours early to check in asked if we could check in a bit early im dam sure lady behind the counter lied and said out room hadn’t been checked by house keeping. We checked back as we were told and the other lady said check in is at 3. So we came back at 3:15 then there was a black young man very polite. Told us when breakfast was and such. Next morning we ho to breakfast and there is only bread and muffins lmao. The lady at the desk said “well we only serve hot breakfast if we are over twenty percent capacity.” “We’ve been at fifteen, today at three”

Breakfast is very minimal , mostly items you can put in the toaster. When we came to check-in nobody was at the desk and waited 20 minutes for someone to show up to check us in.

This was unsettling for a solo traveler. The room was not the cleanest but it was not helped by the fact that the fixtures and furnishings were long past their prime. The breakfast was so unappetizing that I left with only coffee. I threw that away at the closest gas station. The best I can say is that the young women at the front desk were kind when I checked in and out.

I reserved a king room on January 5th but there wasn’t one available when I checked in. The vent in the bathroom really needs a little fine tuning. I missed not having the noise of a fan with the poor cooling system in the room.

- Wendy (9/5): Great location for the area, and Scobey's Pub and Grub has great food! - I grew up near the area, have spent many nights and attended have many events at this hotel over the years. I was here to see family, and hang out with friends. The room was a good size, and the beds were comfy. The room lighting was a bit dark, but opening the windows helped let some light in. Wifi was excellent, and the room had a mini fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. There is a free continental breakfast near the lobby from 6:00am to 9:00am. The hotel is located within walking distance of a Walmart for additional food options for your room, and late night snacks. They also have a couple of vending machines for snacks, and sodas. Scobey's Pub and Grub is an excellent place to unwind, hang out, get some food, shoot some darts, or get some pull tabs. They also have a guest self-serve laundry room ($1.50 to wash and $1.50 to dry), which was very much in need after my travels. There are many fast food options nearby, and I.C. Muggs is a great local hang out spot just down the road. The continental breakfast options are pretty limited (eggs and sausages for hot food), but they had bread options to toast. They do offer cereal, fruit juice, and yogurt. No fruit or low cal options.

- Christina (2/5): Run!!! - We checked in and got to the room. We opened the door and the odor was horrible (like cat pee). We walked in the room and there were stains on the comforters, half the lights didn’t work, the bathroom wasn’t clean and the toilet was wobbly. We didn’t even sit down, we grabbed our bags and left 5 minutes after we arrived. Now we are out $100 for that hotel room and had an unexpected added expense to book a room at a different hotel

- Cholan (4/5): Noise reduction will drastically help - Layout of the bathroom was spacious The walls were so thin you can literally hear everything from the hallway and other rooms. Plus laundry room is loud too.
- Hope (10/5): - Staff were all very friendly! The restaurant located in the hotel had awesome food. Everyone in our group was satisfied with what they ordered which NEVER happens! Only complaints I have is that our room was cold our whole stay and we didn’t realize there was a switch on the base board near the floor to switch between AC and heat. Very odd and would have been nice to know. Also we had a room that the window was facing the pool area and even though the pool was said to close at 11pm we were kept up by young children being loud in the pool well after 12 when we had to be up at 4:30am. It’s part or hotel stays but with the pool literally next to the front desk I was surprised they didn’t take care of the noise and allowed it to go so late. Our stay otherwise was very nice and the room was clean. The hotel as a whole was clean and everyone was very nice.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - Hotel dis not look as nice and the photos, my room had stuff broken in it, the pool side room and you can not use the door to the pool is locked. the tub in my room did not hold water an you close it, it drains very slowly. Needs a remodel, old carpets, carpet in the pool room. People where drinking beer with glass bottles in the pool area. Not enough pool towels. Breakfast was ok only warm items where eggs with ham in it and sausage. Other wise you had to heat up what I'm thinking was frozen waffles and pancakes and toast them in a toaster.

The locks for the outside entrances had been punched out on both end entry doors. Breakfast was until 9 but at 8 it had been pretty depleted so we didn’t eat.

I only saw 2 things wrong: I continued to see dry dog poop on the main stairway, and the guest laundry had not been cleaned after a road construction crew was there.

Noisy: the AC/heat unit was loud - I should have just put the fan on instead of automatic because it was very loud when it came on ... Good "white noise"! Then when I was asleep, someone elsewhere must have taken a shower, because the noise startled me awake! The pipes were VERY loud while water was in use. I wish all places would move to installing dispensers of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion instead of providing individual bottles. They could be made available upon request, but waste so much plastic.

- Ashley (4/5): Not great - It was a good location. Staff was friendly. We arrived at 4pm when our check-in was supposed be at 3pm. Our room was not clean yet along with five other people that checked in at the same time as us. We were told we could leave our things but we would have to leave right away. When we arrived back to our room after attending an event, our room was not clean. The floor was dirty it had obviously not been vacuumed and the sheets had long hair in them.
- Karen (6/5): - We stayed here to attend a concert in Grand Forks. The cost was good and there’s a Walmart right next door! Breakfast was just ok. The sports bar was closed so that was disappointing! They did not have a reservation for us which was confirmed through Expedia so I’m not sure if I will book through Expedia again. Luckily they had an extra room available.
- Michelle (6/5): - The continental breakfast was horrible. I went back 3 times to the area and they were out of food all times. The coffee was unavailable, machine was broken and they supplied some but was always empty. We were looking forward to being able to eat then leave- we ended up going to McDonalds to get breakfast. The plus side, the rooms smelled great and the beds were comfy- not sure we would choose this hotel again. The staff was limited and had to wait a long time before someone showed up to check in.

- Thomas (2/5): Disgusted and unimpressed. - The pool was somewhat satisfying Bed felt like rocks. Pillows were also like rocks. Sheets were stained. Walls were stained. Bathroom was gross. Water pressure was horrible. Staff didn’t seem friendly, including bar staff.
- Richard (10/5): - It’s an older hotel, but the staff were so nice. I’d book again without hesitation.

- Deanna (6/5): - College move in weekend. I would think they would have scheduled more staff and the breakfast was very inadequate. Hardly any food for all the guests.

- Mary (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was good. A nice variety. There could have been more body wash. We had one small tube of body wash for 2 women for 2 days. It wasn't enough. And one small bar of soap. Also, we were right next to the pool. Why do kids always have to yell when they are in the pool.

- Andrew (8/5): Adequate and clean - The room and overall hotel condition were average. We felt that it was clean and comfortable and a good fit for a quick night stay on our way through. We appreciated the breakfast which included eggs and sausage as well as the other Continental items typical of a breakfast. We wished that our door to the pool would open, but those are permanently locked shut. The pool was clean. No exercise room. Beds and pillows clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean. Our door was old and scraped the frame when opened and closed; I am a home inspector.
