• CICERO D (2/5): Não fiquem nesse lugar - Não tive sequer coragem de ficar hospedado nele. Um lugar horrível, não cuidado, sujo, não tinha recepcionista, não tem placa de identificação no local, lugar perigoso. Zero. Coloquei uma estrela em tudo porque não tem opção sem estrela nenhuma. Por fim, fui buscar hospedagem em outro lugar. Uma decepção...

• Verified traveler (4/5): Service médiocre, bruyant, pas de réception - Accueil nulissime comportement du patron inadapté. Bruyant, pas du tout isolé du bruit de la rue. Inaccessible avec des bagages : porte d'entrée lourde et minuscule. Accès dangereux en bord de rue sans trottoir. Attention : pas d'accueil physique. Il faut appeler avec votre portable personnel un numéro italien une fois arrivé dans la rue avec vos bagages en plein dans la circulation. Et là ça ne suffit pas. Alors que vous êtes debout dans le bruit à vous coller au mur pour ne pas vous faire renverser par un scooter, le patron ne vous donne pas le code. Il vous demande de télécharger une application de messagerie instantanée (!) Si vous y arrivez, il ne vous enverra pas le code d'entrée à 3 chiffres, mais un long message vocal en anglais avec un accent tellement mauvais qu'on n'a pas compris le code et qu'il a fallu le rappeler une 2eme fois pour qu'il soit d'accord pour nous donner ce code de vive voix. En clair si vous n'avez pas de smartphone, ou que vous n'êtes pas un geek à l'aise avec le numérique en plein brouhaha de rue, ou que vous ne parlez pas anglais, vous ne pourrez pas accéder à votre chambre. Je garde le meilleur pour la fin : il a voulu nous faire payer la taxe de séjour pour notre enfant alors que notre réservation indiquait bien qu'il avait moins de 15 ans (donc gratuit). Il a même menacé d'appeler la police parce qu'on refusait de payer une taxe qu'on ne devait pas... Quel sens de l'accueil !

• Arianna (2/5): - Non e' un hotel 3 stelle ma un b&b senza accesso diretto, bisogna entrare in un palazzo. Non c'è nemmeno l'ascensore perche di uso condominiale e bosogna essere in possesso della chiave che ha solo il gestore che non è mai presente in struttura. È piu caro di altri hotel 3 stelle molto belli e puliti. Altamente sconsigliato.
• Colin (2/5): - TL;DR : This is NOT a hotel. It is a BnB-like accommodation with misleading advertisement. Owner also tries to browbeat negative reviews by threatening calling the cops. We arrived in a graffiti laden alleyway at around 4pm, well within the 2 to 8pm check-in time (front desk is supposed to be open from 8am to 8pm) to a door with a lockbox. We ring the location and get no answer. We find a note that says that we need to contact someone through WhatsApp if it's after 2pm. Which is... highly irregular. Contact the number (good thing we had international data) and no response so I start looking at the lockbox. Within seconds, I get it open and find a bunch of keys. Didn't feel comfortable taking the keys so I tried to close the box again but couldn't anymore. After nearly 2 hours! I finally get a response after I contacted Expedia to get a refund. He gives me instructions to open the lockbox and tells me it's my fault because we checked-in after 2pm. We got no instructions of that sort from him (or at all). Turns out, the lockbox code was not one that I had tried which now freaks us out considering how easy it was to open, anybody could have made doubles. Asked for a refund directly because both not a hotel room or safe and he refused. Ended up going elsewhere. After he saw a negative review on google, he sent us the cop threat. This is NOT a hotel. Nobody works here. The 8am to 8pm front desk is a lie and is not manned. We even saw other people waiting the next day.
• Dani (10/5): - Posizione strategica e vicinissima alla fermata metro. La camera molto spaziosa e pulita, ottima l'accoglienza di Pina al desk. Consentono di lasciare il bagaglio nella sala comune anche dopo il checkout. Consigliatissimo.

Transfer till/från flygplats inte möjlig, incheckningstiden stämmer inte, personal dålig på engelska, ingen fungerande hiss, urdålig frukost (fungerar kanske för italienare), en dag var tydligen duschhanddukarna slut och då fick vi handdukar istället, fungerar inte så bra.

Chambre spacieuse avec petit balcon relativement calme grâce au double vitrage. Petit déjeuner simple mais bon. Très bon rapport qualité prix dans l’ensemble.

• Christian (10/5): Moderne, à l'intérieur. - Dans une ruelle peu engageante se niche un bâtiment a l'intérieur duquel a été aménagé un ensemble de 6 chambres très accueillantes . Une personne tres sympathique vous accueille et prépare le petit déjeuner. Le tout pour un prix raisonnable.
• Stefan (6/5): Gute Ausgangslage zum Hafen und zur Altstadt - Wir waren 3 Nächte im „The Fresh“. Es war etwas schwer zu finden, da der Zugang in einer Seitenstraße liegt und die Beschilderung klein und unauffällig ist. Durch das Tor dann geht es in die erste Etage wo sich das B&B befindet. Es ist modern und gradlinig funktionell möbliert. Von allen Zimmern aus ist sehr guter Internetempfang. Das Team ist sehr freundlich, ausgeschlossen und stets motiviert, einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu schaffen. Altstadt und Hafen sind in wenigen Minuten Fußläufig zu erreichen. Auch ein Supermarkt liegt wenige Meter entfernt. Leider Liegen zwei Zimmer direkt zur großen viel befahrenen Straße raus und auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite nächtigen 3-5 Obdachlose mit ihren Hunden. Das Frühstück ist typisch italienisch auf Nachfrage werden auch Schinken und Kass serviert. Insgesamt eine gute Unterkunft für einen Kurztripp.

• Verified traveler (6/5): False Advertisement - I typically choose hotels based on the services offered. One important service for me is airport transportation (even with a fee) since I find taxis can try to overcharge you. That was one of the reasons The Fresh was selected. So I was disappointed when I emailed them a couple of days prior to my arrival to arrange transportation and was informed that my arrival time was a busy period and it would not be available. Again, I was disappointed but understood since my arrival in Naples was during a timeframe typically used for check-in. So I took a taxi and paid more than double the price quoted by The Fresh. To avoid this issue for my departure, I immediately emailed the owner after check-in to arrange transportation for my departure several days later. I was then informed that the service was not available period. I sent screenshots from their website and Expedia stating that airport transport is available for a fee. I was then told that they don't offer it anymore. This really upset me. It upset me more than the A/C that you could only feel when you in a specific spot in the room and that they turned off daily resulting in my coming from a very hot outdoor environment into a sweat box. More so than the internet service that kept going in and out. Consistent A/C and internet service were not advertised but airport transport was. If I was aware of this, I would not have spent my money and my Expedia points at this location. If you don't offer a service, don't advertise it.

• Lando (6/5): O hotel parece um hostel - O hotel surpreendeu negativamente, primeiro o hotel era muito difícil de achar, tivemos que pedir informação na rua pois não havia identificação alguma de hotel, a localidade passava uma sensação de insegurança grande, a porta muito estreita para se passar com mala, tinha um lance de escadas e o hotel fica em um prédio residencial, parece um apartamento transformado em hostel, café da manhã fraco, não fica ninguém na recepção caso tenha algum problema não tem ninguém para resolver de imediato, Wi-Fi no quarto era horrível, quando hóspedes chegavam de madrugada todos do hotel acordavam. Resumindo, não me hospedaria lá novamente!
• Tony (6/5): Too expensive for the accommodations. - Rooms requested were not available the day we arrived. However, the owner was there when we arrived. I did not realize that we would have needed an elevator. No elevator! Owner was pleasant. The B&B was on the second floor in Italy it's the first floor. Had to walk up and down with luggage. We arrived on a Thursday rooms requested were available on Saturday. .

Los transportes fatal y con chinches en la Circumvesubiana. Hay que llevar un cuidado extremo en semáforos, pasos de cebra y por los callejones con las motos incluso en la zona peatonal. Andan por dirección prohibida y sin casco hasta 5 personas en una vespa!! A veces parece que no se está en Europa
• alessia (8/5): centrale e nuovo - l'hotel è in una zona centrale di Napoli, a piedi si possono raggiungere i principali luoghi di interesse. In due giorni siamo riusciti a vedere alcune delle attrattive principali, ma per vederla tutta avremmo dovuto soggiornare sicuramente di più. La città è bellissima ed accogliente.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Camere graziose posizione centralissima - La posizione è centralissimi a due passi da Piazza del Gesù non è facilissimo trovarlo ma una volta trovato e entrato è di buon gusto pulitissimo e le camere hanno praticamente tutto . Se siete in macchina il parcheggio potrebbe essere un po problematico ma per il resto suggerei a un mio amico di andarci.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable option, great location - Best thing about this hotel is its location, just a minutes walk away from one end of Centro Storico and many of the tourist attractions. Affordable price and overall good quality of room, although the bed was pretty hard and the shower very small, and breakfast could be improved by having more savoury options. Staff here speak almost no English but can provide a map of the area, and its easy enough to find your own way around.

• Evert (8/5): Leuk hotel in centum historisch oude Napels - Vriendelijk personeel, in dit leuke uit 6 kamers bestaande hotel. Midden in het historische centum van Napels. Alle bekende bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand te bereiken. Nadeel drukke verkeersstraat om de hoek. Zou zo weer voor dit hotel kiezen, uitstekend low-budget hotel, met schone kamers en privacy.

• Lidija (6/5): OK hotel. - Although it didn't look like it from the outside, the hotel was nice inside, and in a good location. The air conditioning was very weak and the wifi was so spotty. Most times it did not work in our room. We use wifi to plan our days, etc. the breakfast was good.
• Nina (10/5): Modernes Hotel in perfekter Lage - Wir würden das Hotel definitiv weiter empfehlen. Die Lage ist super, so sind die Altstadt, die Shopping-Meile und der Hafen fußläufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist super nett, alle geben sich sehr viel Mühe, auch wenn es mit den Englischkenntnissen manchmal etwas hapert. Lediglich die Anreise war etwas seltsam, da am Nachmittag niemand im Hotel anwesend war und wir somit telefonisch versuchen mussten einen Kontakt herzustellen. Ansonsten sind die Räume modern ausgestattet, man findet alles vor, das man benötigt. Die Lage ist ruhig und das Hotel ist sehr familiär. Das einzige, was wir als negativ anmerken müssen, ist dass das Waschbecken schon etwas abgenutzt war und die Dusche etwas sauberer hätte sein können. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist aber vollkommen angemessen.
• Brenda (6/5): Voor zijn prijs goed. - Voordelen zijn: prijs, vriendelijk personeel, goede locatie en kleinschalig (6 kamers) en persoonlijk. Nadelen zijn: wisselvallige wifi, slecht doorlopend doucheputje, minimaal ontbijt en hotel in een steeg. Conclusie: Nadelen zijn allemaal niet ernstig en gewoon te doen, de prijs overtreft deze nadelen.
• Daniel (10/5): Fint opphold - Dette hotellet er bra lokalisert. Man har kort avstand til alle historiske steder. 5 min. gå avstand til sjøsiden for en behagelig soaseringstur. Romvasket er perfekt. Jeg savnet ordentlig frokost på dette hotellet. Frokosten består av mest søtsaker.
• Roman&Svetlana (10/5): nice hotel in the historic center. - very nice and polite staff, a little bit poor english knowladge like in general in Napoli. breakfast always on time with a lovely warm croissant, cake and etc. in the end of our visit been offered a taxi to airport, cheap and on time. atmosphere was awesome and comfortable. it is the right place to stay.
• corry (4/5): Teleurstellend - tijdens mijn verblijf zijn er nogal wat minpunten opgevallen. Receptie is er niet er loopt een werkster rond die alles regelt. Douches zijn niet alleen klein en ongemakkelijk maar ook vies, de muren en hoeken zitten onder de schimmel en je staat tot aan je enkels in het water omdat de afvoer het water niet aankan. De airco werkt niet er was een technisch mankement wat kennelijk niet op te lossen was, daardoor was het niet alleen ongezond warm maar ook super vochtig in de kamer, gevolg was dat alles klam aanvoelde zelf het bed. Ontbijt is karig 3 croissants voor 4 personen, sorry rest is op. Cappuccino/ koffie is echt geen aanrader smaakt nergens naar. Jammer met iets meer aandacht zou dit een prima accommodatie zijn.

Unica pecca è stata la colazione con un cappuccino più simile ad acqua colorata e la disponibilità di cornetti: per due giorni su tre siamo rimasti senza!
• francesco (10/5): Hotel trendissimo in pieno centro - Perfetta l'accoglienza ed il servizio. Albergo nuovissimo e trendissimo, arredato in stile essenziale e gradevolissimo. Poche stanze. Facile parcheggio sorvegliato nelle vicimanze (molto economico). Colazione luculliana. Tutto perfetto. Personale simpaticissimo e disponibilissimo. Curatissima la pulizia.
• Paul (8/5): A reFRESHing base from which to explore Napoli - I stayed in the Fresh for 4 nights in October 2014 - I arrived late (very late) and had not realised I needed to tell the hotel in advance; no fear, they called me and it was all sorted (THANK YOU). The rooms are comfortable and brightly decorated - the decor seems to be lime green or pink and it gives the place a modern feel despite the building being an old building in old naples. The location is great - 3 minutes from the heart of old naples and 10 minutes from the highlight for me - Napoli Underground.

The University and Metro underground line is just around the corner as well as the fabulous shopping streets!

• Verified traveler (2/5): Awful place - Avoid - Worst hotel stay in a very long time.. 1. At 10 Am day of check in the hotel manager Alessandro called to say that The Fresh has a boiler issue - hence no hot water and we had to go to sister hotel Hrooms. 2. Hrooms was located away from everything - port, train station, city centre - had to use crowded Naples metro to get around every day. The manager was under the impression he was doing us a favour. 3. Hrooms has no staff other than non English speaking cleaning lady. There was no one at reception after we checked in for the entire 3 days stay. 4 different keys were needed to get onto the building, hotel and then room! 4. Toilet would not flush and my dad had to fix it as there was no one to ask for help. 5. After a shower the entire bathroom was flooded - again - no one to ask for help - so we left it for cleaning lady to drain next day. 6. Requested triple room for 3 adults and at The Fresh the reservation indicated 3 beds would be available. We got one double and a very uncomfortable sofa bed- I am only 5ft 4 and my feet were out. The only positives I can think of are the size of the rooms and cleanliness. It should really be marketed as serviced apartments or something along these lines (there is no hotel staff or service to speak of) to manage expectations.
• Carey (10/5): This place is very close to a beautiful church. - I thought The Fresh was very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The staff were very congenial. The owner even picked me up from the airport! He also arranged for a txi to take me to the ferry the next day, witch is just a short distance away, The continental breakfst was very nice also.This place was a real bargain, too.

The staff member who stays there for most of the day isn't too helpful in terms of recommending routes, restaurants or attractions but does his job well which is to lay out breakfast and check you in. We found the location a bit hard to find because the google maps location for the hotel is wrong (sept 2013). 25 mins walk to train station, 8 min walk to port, 30 seconds walk to nearby (small but functional) supermarket. Good stay overall.
