• Femke (8/5): Great budget space to stay in the centre of Birmingham. - Nice and clean room with enough space for luggage. Very friendly and helpful staff, even in the middle of the night! I missed a kettle to make tea. This would be a nice addition. One of the drink vending machines didn't work, fortunately the friendly and helpful night staff managed to sort it out.

• Andrew (3/5): Unpleasant hotel - Not much except the friendly staff The hotel was dirty and smelly. The rooms cramped and ill equipped. Decor is tired and in need of renewal. It is expensive relative to what is offered.

Habitación excesivamente pequeña, sin casi paso para el lado de la ventana. Te chocabas con la tv al pasar. Sin armario ni espacio para poner cosas. Muy incómodo. Las almohadas muy malas. Baño muy pequeño. Hay que hacer pis de lado porque no cabes. Todo muy estrecho.

• Mark (10/5): Clean simple central - Clean, simple, central I have poor eyesight and bumped by head on the bunk bed above the double bad. Did not expect it to be there nor so neutrally coloured.
• Emma Louise (1/5): Won’t ever stay again - Close to town centre and transport links We have stayed here many of times but this time the room was smaller. The tv was sticking out of the wall at the end of the bed and I hit my back on it several times causing bad bruising trying to get round the bed. The toilet was that close to the wall we had to sit sideways to use the toilet. The shower was barely warm and the water came out very slowly. The room was that cold we had to ask for a heater. The mattress was solid. I have added photo to show me trying to get round the end of the bed with the tv sticking out as well as photo of how close the wall is when sit on toilet (was dressed to take photo)

• Buckby (7/5): - The location was in a good position only a short walk from the railway station and the event I was attending. The room was cold and we couldn't get the heating to work. Basically its called ibis budget so guess we got what we paid for.

Clean rooms No tea and coffee facilities, cold rooms as no carpet and air system did not heat well. Pillows very thin but you can get more from reception apparently. Not enough key cards for 2 people so only one per room but apparently more on order.

Parking costs £10 for 24 hours and the location is ideal, with the O2 Academy Birmingham nearby and the city centre about a 15 minute walk away. The triple room was very snug, with a compact capsule shower and toilet. You really had to know each other well to use the shower comfortably. There was a strong sewage smell in the room overnight, forcing us to open the window, which made sleeping difficult due to traffic noise and light. The lift, under refurbishment, shook throughout the journey. An ironing room was useful and staff were friendly. Regardless of budget status, a basic standard should be expected.

• Jakab (8/5): - A szálloda jó helyen van, a központi pályaudvartól 10-15 perc sétára. A szoba kicsi volt, de 1 éjszakára bőven megfelelt. Sajnos elég húvös idő volt, a szobában sem volt elég meleg mikor megérkeztünk, de a recepción, kérésünkre adtak egy kicsi olajradiátort. A szoba tiszta volt. Személyzet segítőkész. Reggelinél kicsit hiányoltam a felvágottakat, tojást, zöldégféléket. Sós ételek közül leginkább kenyér és sajt volt kirakva. De jól tudtunk lakni. -
