Guest Reviews
- JOSE (8/5): - AC efficient , Clean room , nice staff, and parking accesible
- William (10/5): - A great few days there
- William (4/5): - Looks nothing like the photos. This is a very old building. There was a leak in one of the closets.
- Melissa (10/5): - I love coming here! It is very quiet & tranquil & clean... staff is very nice. I love hanging out with the iguanas at the pool. they like Michael Jackson
- Alvaro (10/5): - Very comfortable room.
- Andrea (10/5): - Friendly staff. Huge condo. Very close to the beach!!
- Amy (6/5): - Found mens underwear in the bathroom. Rooms are primitive and bare.
- Michela (4/5): - very deceiving pictures of the unit and the announcement does not match the reality. The location is in a party complex that requires a lot of tlc. People drunk and music until late.
- pablo (8/5): - Good place to stay for the price. Nice area by the beach and must checkout the lighthouse. Nice Argentinian food options nearby. Over all good stay.
- Cindy (8/5): - I rented 3 rooms for my family for a weekend in Miami, family wedding. The rooms are spacious. The little kitchen is perfect. The staff that I met were very nice. The only negative about this stay: When you have a lot of people in the living room it gets very loud and echos.
- Giselle (4/5): Needs to work on cleanliness - Not happy with cleanliness, Cheerios from prior guest still on the floor.
- Rita (6/5): - Parking is easy location is convenient and being upstairs was further quiet. We got the second building that looks very updated and rather a random property with that any recent renovations. Some fixes are very apparent with unprofessional looks carpet is absolutely disgustingly dirty so I don’t recommend walking around, barefoot. We had a balcony, but the door was fairly hard to open on the curtains for half torn already, so I didn’t want to take a chance of anything falling . All in all it was a convenient location and we pretty much spend any time in the place but sleeping for a few hours.
- Niurka (10/5): - Nice location and pleasant place.
- Maria (6/5): - Unfortunately I could not sleep well. Too much light came through the large window.
I stayed for two nights, could not stay longer due to this
- JORGE (10/5): - Great office staff and super nice rooms.
- Belen (10/5): - It is a very clean place with easy parking
- rachael (10/5): - This property is old but I liked our loft apartment very much. We had a very comfortable bed but our daughter was staying in another apartment and unfortunately its bed was concave and smelled like someone had smoked weed in there, so not every unit measures up. Both were very clean. It is just a shame that they don't put a couple of beds downstairs instead of sofa so a whole family can stay in one unit. I liked the iguanas everywhere outside by the pool. the pool was warm and all the people staying there very friendly. It had an "old Florida " feel to the property. Run down here and there but the price is right for the location and we were able to walk to wonderful dining. Easy hassle free stay and we will return. Also, it seems to be a family business and I like supporting those!
- Verified traveler (2/5): 1 Star - Great location but run down and poorly maintained property. WiFi didn’t work and bedroom was hot despite running a/c at full blast. Mouse scurrying down the hallway toward the pool deck clinched 1 star rating.
- Raymond (6/5): - Closet doors were very hard to open because railing was very rusted. Bathtub was rusted. Mice eat my fruit. Full construction right in front of my balcony.
- Madelyn (8/5): Great price, nice pool and close to beach! - Our stay was really nice and the service was great. The apartment did not come with enough towels, but after asking the staff provided. The dishwasher did not work, so we bought paper plates and hand washed the silverware. The AC was great, especially since the days were so hot. When showering, you need to let the water run for about 3-5 min before it comes out warm/hot. The pool was awesome, although the last day we were staying something broke and was green, so they were going to repair the following day. The beach is so close, only a 5-10 minute walk and was beautiful, although there were lots of jelly fish so we had to swim out far. Overall for the price and location it was worth it!
- james (10/5): - Walkable to ocean, great food nearby lush surroundings.
- Tim (2/5): - No directions to where the office is. Not even a small sign saying office is this way! Large loft apartment furnished with cheap uncomfortable furniture. There is something in the ac that had me coughing constantly while I was inside. No paper products. Overall clean with the exception of light fixtures. TV’s don’t work. Bed is obviously old now. Online ads of the loft apartment don’t reflect what I actually got. You can see so many reviews about people complaining about where the office is over the years and they still don’t address that, so that should tell you that they don’t give a damn. If you are on a tight budget but driving there then bring paper towels, toilet paper, bath towels, wash cloths, air mattress, extra cushions, coffee and your own tv with your hotspot. If you do bring those items with you for a longer stay then it is not so bad. I recommend this place only in an emergency otherwise find another place. They need to sell this place to a hotel company that knows how to manage this place. It would be an actual gem if they cared. I booked for two nights and left after the first night. I get that it was a low price but it doesn’t make up for the lack of care.
- Susanne (8/5): - It was good for my needs. Not an exciting vacation destination however. The beach was so/so, The restaurant and bars were nice. Easy shopping. The unit did not have a single pot or pan so I couldn’t make eggs. The staff was very nice.
- Kelly (6/5): - The couch in the apartment was more like a hard futon. Not comfortable at all and you really couldn’t sit on it and watch TV and be comfortable. The TV was very small and would just shut off with no warning. There was a TV in one of the bedrooms and there was no remote, so you couldn’t even turn it on. The pool was clean and nice. It was just hard to feel like you were on vacation when you couldn’t even sit comfortably to watch tv
- Charlotte (6/5): - Property is decent for the money. Very basic but clean. The loft was enough for 2 people in the king size bed but the pull out sofa was not a ‘double pull out’ as expected but instead a futon not even suitable for one person honestly. Great location and staff were very helpful on the plus.
- Diego Javier (10/5): - Apartmetns at coral reef are not luxury, still very clean and updated. Price is convenient and location is priceless!
- Alan (6/5): - Great location. Very dated
- heidi (10/5): - Nice loft style apartment/condo. Furnished Boho style. Close to everything including 2 State Parks which we biked to and through. ($2 per biker) Great restaurants nearby (we went to Milanezza).
- Gloria (10/5): - Excelente atención, muy familia
- Levi (6/5): - A apartment that was converted to a hotel room. The couch needs to be replaced to a true pull out mattress, it was a flip back futon.
- Sviatoslav (8/5): - Good - Close to the ocean, free parking, friendly staff.
Bad - Dirty floors in the room, Doors to the balcony are difficult to open and close, There is mold
- Luke (6/5): - The staff was fine and the people there were nice. The amenities were substandard and need to be updated. On the fence about staying there again.
- Pedro (8/5): - Nice! Close to the beach and restaurants! Would use again!
- Paul (10/5): - Unit was big and spacious. Bathroom could have been updated. Bathtub was a little
- David (2/5): - Could not sleep. Bed sheets had strong bleach smell. Very little water pressure out of shower. There is no couch in units.
- Alessandra (2/5): - Horrible communication
- Macarena (2/5): - Nothing on the description or pictures were what we walked into. The receptionist and her husbands were the worse people i’ve ever met. Highly recommend nobody to stay here
- JOSE (10/5): - The closest to quiet beach , affordable room at reasonable price, near to Brickell attractions made of this place a real option to return
- jen (6/5): - Apt was large but very dated and smelled of smoke. Good located for my trip.
- Dasmill (8/5): - Good
- JOSE (8/5): - Very quiet and convenient place either for business or vacations
- Luis (4/5): - Although I had a good time and the people greeted us well, I personally do not like when pictures from Expedia or Website don't match reality. The photographer decerves an "Oscar" for best picture in my opinion.
- Hernan (6/5): - The facilities have not improved in a long time. Pool was green, dirty halls, cleaning services un-proffesional with loud music sounding while cleaning the rooms. I saw dogs in the property and I didn't know they were aloung.
- Fabiana Di (8/5): - We liked the location and how helpful the staff (Roberto) was when we chexked in. He was nice and gave us some cofee for the stay.
- Alberto (4/5): - Checking was good, but the apartment is old All utensils, bathrooms, bed linen, kitchen were dirty.
- ALEJANDRO (10/5): - The staff excellent
- Lyan (8/5): - Peaceful location, staff was very helpful and friendly. Beach was about a 10 walk away. Everything was good. Only 1 or 2 minor things, took a few minutes for the water to get hot in the shower and needed to go buy water and ice. Other than that it was a great stay!
- Alexander (4/5): - The place is old. We rented through Expedia. The price was not bad for two nights. I guess you get what you pay for. The bathroom had mold and rust. The A/C worked good down stairs in the Loft but not upstairs where we slept. The furniture had stains. Some of the lights in the unit did not work. Just a bad overall experience.
- melissa (6/5): - Nothing
- Noel (4/5): - This property looked nothing like the pictures in the listing. When we arrived there was a note on the office to call someone in unit 321 with questions.
We reached out to the host and were told it was unlock, then were sent to the wrong unit.
The only thing this place has going for it is that it is in walking distance of the beach and some decent restaurants.
- Sonia (10/5): - This is a family oriented place to stay. It is cozy, clean and inviting only a short walk to the beach. Clean and quiet. Very nice. Recommended for families that want to be rested and relaxed.
- Tom (10/5): - Excellent stay, will return soon
- Alexis (10/5): - Great last minute spot. Very close to the beach and very cheap!! Was pleasantly surprised
- Rene (10/5): - Very nice experience, safe, lovely staff and helpful.
Very recommendable to friends and family.
- Cleiner (8/5): - Good place
- Wendy (10/5): - Roberto/Bruno and staff welcoming, friendly and goes above beyond to help with any information🥹☺️ Made my family feel welcome like a local in beautiful Key Biscayne!
- Wendy (10/5): - Staff friendly, helpful and made your stay home away from home!
- Chandra (2/5): - Property is run down. Lock on door did not work properly. Missing numbers on the door. The sofa in the living is extremely small, more of a small futon. Linens are old. Bed was very uncomfortable. Kitchen is poorly equipped. The water in the shower was warm at best. Noise from neighboring hotel loading dock was extremely loud early in the morning. The only positive was it was clean.
- Ismary (10/5): Happy WKN - Excellent para mis expectations, muy organized todo
- Amy (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Ana (2/5): - no cleaning option, even if you stay for more than 4 nights, elevator didn't work, no a/c control, building in bad conditions.
- Benjamin (8/5): - Roberto was super kind.
- ANH (10/5): Good location - Nice private beach. Spacious room.
- Angelo (10/5): - The staff were amazing and truly cared about your stay.
- Kathy (8/5): - Accommodating staff and close to the beach!
- Kathryn (4/5): - No coffee, no paper towels, cheap furniture. Really cheap stairs. Kitchen has really sorry pots and pans. Glad I was there only for 8 hours.
- J. WILLIAM (2/5): - The unit that we checked into looked nothing like the photos . The online Expedia images were clearly doctored to make it look way better. Remote didn't work, no bath towels, kitchen sparsely stoked and what was there was very outdated and old. Not clean... The property manager was not available and the house keeper(who was very nice and tried to be helpful) barely spoke English, so very difficult to communicate with. The unit was deplorable. We did not feel safe staying there . We did not stay there and booked a different place.... Obviously would NOT recommend. Also extremely reluctant to ever use/Trust Expedia again. We Should have been more diligent in reading more reviews.
- Meli (10/5): - Excellent location near the beach, super clean and very nice staff
- Cidalia (10/5): Wonderful place! - The apartment was super comfortable and we had plenty of room. Wish we could've stayed longer!
- Jack (10/5): - Like this stay
- Ellen (6/5): - Had difficulty finding the reception area. Very friendly staff.
A lovely looking condo with balcony. Very nice bed and bathroom in the loft. Only 2 bath towels - no other towels. No coffee or filters. Key to the beach didn't work. And couch is very uncomfortable.. great location!
- Gustavo (10/5): - I was there wirh my family perfet place to realax near rhe beach
- janet (2/5): - Starting with the positive; the staff was friendly and as helpful as possible with the conditions they are working in. The king size bed was very comfortable, the towels were absorbent and soft.
However, the whole place is in disrepair, the elevator out of order (good luck carrying heavy bags up the stairs), our dishwasher was not totally installed, towel bars were broken so there was no place to dry your towels, the water machine in the office is broken. Despite what the website says there is no housekeeping. Our unit smelled bad in the kitchen, couldn't find the source of the smell. The blinds are so thin it is impossible to sleep if you like it dark. The outside lights and the morning sun keep it almost light enough to read! They gave us 2 towels each and no bathmats (though the did give us a bathmat when we asked), and no washcloths at all! The key they gave us to the "private beach" did not work, and it made us wonder if that was a scam. The place was not filthy, but certainly far from spotless, we had to wipe out drawers before putting anything in them. The website says toiletries are provided, however all that is there is shampoo and conditioner, not even any type of soap! I would not go back.
- Danelle (10/5): - The room was ok. The real problem is that the elevator is not working.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Stayed for surgery and recovery. - This was the third stay and it has always been great. The Office assistant is very accommodating and friendly. The apartment rentals are minutes away from my Doctor's office, the beach and State Park. It's Great 👍
- Leslie (4/5): - The area and building were dated, some garbage bags piled up, broken down car in parking lot. Rooms were furnished sparsely. No hand towels or wash cloths. No hand soap.
The staff were kind and helpful.
- Trevor (6/5): Nice location, Poor everything else. - This place is nothing like the pictures! The inside of the unit is in poor condition. It look like the property has not been updated or repaired in decades. The location is convenient, if you want to be on Key Biscayne. The staff is friendly. I would not recommend staying here unless you are ready to slum it.
- ALBERTO (2/5): Most disgusting place I have ever seen - Worst place, it smelled like Raid, door was left open, people hanging outside the rooms, very very very poor. I give it a scale of zero!
- Hugo (6/5): - The property is in a great location, blocks from the beach in a very safe and beautiful neighborhood, the problem is that the property is very old and not well maintained
- Kirill (2/5): Disgusting - Disgusting!! Stay away from this rat trap. Terrible staff, old furniture with no view. This may as well have been a motel by the airport.
- Timmy (8/5): - Property is dated, but very clean and easy access to beach and had everything we needed.
- Kirill (2/5): Run don’t walk. - Arguably one our worst travel experience. The staff is rude and untrained, the rooms look like they belong in a short stay motel by the airport. Do yourself a favor and never stay here!!!
- George (6/5): Needs updating - Price is good but place is tired and in need of maintenance.
- Lindsay (4/5): - Unfortunately this stay didn’t meet our expectations. We only received 2 towels even with 3 guests, there were zero hand towels or dish towels, no soap - hand or shower, not a single frying pan or mixing bowl - we cooked eggs in a pot. There were 4 forks and 4 plates which means we had to wash everything after every meal. No extra garbage bags, no paper towels or anything to dry dishes with. There were dead bugs in the lights in the kitchen and a really bad leak in the ceiling on our lower floor that were pretty sure was from the toilet on our second floor.
The pros - the beach is a short easy walk away and a key is provided to the private beach area shared with neighboring resorts. The beach is pristine and amazing. We did rent an umbrella for $10 from the hotel. The pool was functional and clean and the iguanas were fun to watch.
We made the best of our trip but would not stay here again.
- Helen (4/5): - The television won’t work, there are NO washcloths anywhere. This is a very old property, glad I’m only here for one night!!
- Mary (6/5): Nothing fancy well located - Only 2 towels for family of 3. Bathroom missing tile and the shower pull was nearly impossible to turn on. No connection for TV in living room.
- Mikelle (10/5): - The apartment was beautiful and we had a great time.
- Bernardo (6/5): Needs some help. - Unit was two floors which was pretty cool. The place needs some TLC. A bunch of outlets don’t work. The bed needs to be replaced. No washcloths, which is weird. Fridge sounded like a freight train when running.
- stephen (8/5): - Completely adequate place with strange customer service (no phone number to actually call is weird)
- Tina (10/5): Great value, close to beach - Convenient for a local conference, very close to beach
- Mara (10/5): - big room! key biscane was a great relaxed area in comparison to Miami. glad we made the drive out to stay here, it was worth it. lots of cute restaurants nearby. nice that there was beach access. we didn't use the pool as we were out and about most the time.
- Valentin (8/5): - Great location for our visit.
- Catherine (6/5): - Amazing location as its close to the beach and town and with free parking. Very simple set-up in the units. Its not fancy...its dated and that is why the price is reasonable. Our unit was clean and we loved having a kitchenette and a TV. Walk to the beach and to town - again amazing location. There is noise due to early morning garbage trucks and cars parked around the building but that is to be expected.
- April (8/5): Nice place close to RSMAS - Nothing fancy but it was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the patio door did not secure at all. It's above ground but adjacent to another unit's balcony so as a solo female traveler that was a little unsettling. Overall it was a good deal though and I'd probably stay again.
- angela (10/5): - This place was great. Quiet and away from the congestion. Roberto was great! Friendly and welcoming.
- Thomas (10/5): - Nice apartment type room.
- carolina (4/5): - The towels sheets and bed quality is bad .. stained and old. Location is great.
- Carol (8/5): - Good value for the money. Room for improvement: Keys for public beach access did not work. Hair dryer did not work. Lumpy beds.
- Natalia (2/5): - Room not advertised, terrible experience. would NOT recomend.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Affordable stay in Key Biscayne - Basic accommodations. Clean enough and in a good location within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. Staff were pleasant. Property in general could use some upgrading but for the price, can’t complain.
