Guest Reviews
- Justin (10/5): - 10-15 steps to Metro subway and many conveniences up the street like a pharmacy, many bakeries and a small supermarket 2 steps away
- Mohammed (8/5): - Good hotel for short trip. Rooms are too small for my liking.
- Andrew (10/5): - Really enjoyable - great place and a lot of good food places nearby.
- Ann-Marie (8/5): - The hotel is a hidden delight! Just a couple of steps off Rue La Fayette and close to the metro and within walk distance of Guard du Nord.
The room was clean and the bed was perfect! The air-conditioning was a godsend in the scorching heat, making our stay comfortable.
We were able to walk to Montmartre from the hotel, just 25 minutes away, with a huge choice of cafés and places to stop and chill.
We would definitely stay at this hotel again!
- Mariam (6/5): - I was honestly expecting more from a 4 star hotel, but overall it wasn’t so bad. We stayed for 5days4 nights in July.
The staff is great and always friendly. The location is fantastic with plenty of restaurants, cafes, markets at walking distance. The metro is literally down the street, about 20 ft away. There’s lemonade juice, candy, and cookies in the reception area to greet you every day at all times. My son loved that.
I gave it 3 stars because some of the things I didn’t like really outweighed what I did like. First off, the room was much smaller than what I thought I was getting. When I paid for the 2 rooms, I paid executive king bed and the images used were not what we got. I found out later, once checked in that the images of what I thought I would get were instead for the junior suites, so that was misleading and very upsetting. Both rooms were triple sharing and had a sofa bed and a king size bed. On our first night my 8 yr old son and I were stuck in the elevator for 45 mins. It took about 20 mins for people to realize we were stuck after pressing in the emergency button countless of times and another 20 to wait for the handyman to come and get us out. We were in room 503 and our bathroom had a leak on the ceiling. All tv channels are in French so prepare for that. If triple sharing the fridge in room gets blocked and you’ll have to move the sofa bed each time to get to the fridge. It’s a small space for your luggage. We had 2 luggages and barely made it work.
- Charlene (10/5): C - The hotel is spotlessly clean. It’s a two minute walk away from the metro station, so very convenient for travel. The air conditioning worked very well. It is in a relatively safe area.
- Renee (10/5): - The check-in process was easy & the front desk explained everything. Our room was clean & ready to when we arrived .
- Jennifer (10/5): - This is my second stay here. This time I got a smaller room but it was ok. I would not stay in the small room next time.
- Susan (10/5): - Excellent location, well maintained rooms, nice small hotel, breakfast fine, but not great. No amematies to speak of, but if you want easy access and clean, quiet hotel, very good
- Lynne (6/5): - The hotel is situated in a noisy area. We heard people partying until late in the night.
We ran into issue with front door locked before 8 pm without prior notice. An outside bell is available however we rang the bell many times without success. we finally got the attention of clients inside the hotel, who tried to open the door and searched for the reception desk.
- Serita (8/5): - We stayed for our honeymoon- the hotel room itself was so cute and clean. Hotel staff were wonderful. Amazing restaurants in walking distance. Very easy to uber in and out of as well. Fantastic place would book again!
- Jade (10/5): - Very nice clean and fresh room with working air con, very much needed as it was hot. The coffee machine in the room didn’t work, but the staff allowed us to use the machine in the breakfast area instead which more than made up for it.
This is a small and quiet hotel that is currently well kept
- Manuel (8/5): - Breakfast to expensive and very small
- Yin (10/5): very good - very good location
- Joseph (10/5): - I thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. The staff were very friendly, especially Jean-Paul, and the room was spacious and cool against the 36 degree temperature outside. The room was spacious and very clean. The metro is 25 metres from the hotel entrance and it is surprisingly quiet in the room.
The only down aspect was that the door at the bottom of the stair case did not have a slow close hinge. You can hear the door bang whenever someone let it close at night.
- Julie (10/5): Satisfied customers! - Hotel lobby was small with smallish breakfast area. Our room did not have breakfast with it but that was more than fine. The room was perfect! Clean and tidy! Odd enough no wash cloths were given big shower and separate tub were amazing! Toilet was in a separate room which was nice too. King sized bed with BIG tv were appreciated! Great place to stay very close to train station!
- Thomas (10/5): - Lovely stay. Perfect spot convenient to everything.
- Kathleen Grace (8/5): - Reception area is small but has enough space to accommodate guests since this location has fewer rooms. The room we stayed was convenient enough for 3 person to move around. Hotel is clean and staff are courteous and polite. Also, the hotel is next to the metro. Had a wonderful stay.
- Dana (8/5): - The room was very small, but clean.
- David (4/5): - Previous review submitted I mentioned no power for hairdryer. Found the power socket now
- LALAINE (8/5): - Room is so nice and close to train station
- Lisa (6/5): - Large room but property is very small. Has a lovely courtyard to sit in. No real dining facilities
- Mohamad (10/5): - Great location and room
- dat (4/5): - The room is so tiny there is not even space to open my luggage and I had to squeeze sideways to get between the wall and the end of the bed;
The room definitely needs to be updated
- ramin (2/5): - The hotel was very small and was definitely not a good location. The service was terrible the coffee machine was molded, the drain wasn’t working properly, and there was lots of noise. The worst hotel in the world!!!☹️
- Whitney (10/5): - We made a last minute reservation for a couple of nights and had such an amazing experience. Hyo, was very accommodating and sweet. I would hands down book again!
- David (10/5): - Nice and very welcoming front desk staff.
Rooms are small but neat.
- julie lynn (6/5): - It was close to metro, store/dining
- Shauna (10/5): Excellent overall! We loved it! - Everything was absolutely excellent! Super comfy bed and fabulous shower! We checked in about 10pm. We didn’t need dinner. There is a wonderful corner store right next door that is open until 4am. The store had beautiful fruit, water, wine/alcohol, treats and all types of stuff to buy to eat. Excellent experience! There is breakfast also that looked great! It is an additional reasonable minimal charge. We already made other breakfast plans and didn’t try it, but it looked really good!
- Jennifer (10/5): - Wow!!! If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would. The area was perfect and access the metro line 7.Also, the bus was also across the street. The bakery around the corner was the BESt!
I had the best time in Paris and this was a great win for us because the area was perfect! I would highly recommend this hotel because of the service and location.
- Amanda (6/5): - Great location. Short walk to Lafayette area or Gare Du Nord station. Unfortunately for the 2 rooms I booked, the shower was extremely dirty. When we used the shower and the water hit the shower tiles, the dirt in between was coming off. Thank god we brought sandals and used it to shower or else the dirt would be all over our feet! I told the front desk and he said cleaning was not available yet and wouldn’t move us to different rooms. Room was neat and had a nice view. Staff were ok.
- Paul (10/5): - About 10 minutes walk to Gare du Nord and/or Gare du Est, and less than 100 m from the metro (Poissoniers). Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy double bed. Modern bathroom with rainshower. Room included a kettle for coffee/tea.
- Alan david (10/5): - Great location close to the Eurostar and next to the subway, very clean and very polite and helpful staff
- Elizabeth (10/5): - This was a great place to stay in Paris! It's relatively close to a lot of the tourist sights, and has very easy access to the Metro. It's close to restaurants and was a great place to stay for 4 days while visiting. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Anselmo who worked in the evenings! We didn't eat the hotel breakfast but it looked great when we left each morning. They also had water and coffee available at all times. Very clean, with the windows closed you couldn't hear any of the street noise. We would stay here again.
- Louise (10/5): Excellent find - It's always a risk choosing hotels in big cities as you often have to pay over the odds for something mediocre... Not so in this case, it's a charming, modern, clean and well-presented hotel, in a great location. I loved it. My room was compact but lovely and pristine, with a very nice bathroom (and fab shower!).. All the staff seem lovely. I will definitely stay again.
- Majid (10/5): - Very good
- Liesel (4/5): - I am on an extended trip through Europe. I have loved every hotel I stayed in all in this price range or less. This place I disliked so much that I checked out a day early. Right at checkin they put a hold on credit card in case there is an “issue or you take anything from mini bar.” You are given a free bottle of water, but the top is not sealed. It has obviously been refilled from somewhere. There is no safe. Sink was clogged and the shelf under the sink, the only area where you can put stuff, was broken. Wi-Fi was another problem. It went on and off. I could not reach Expedia to make onward reservation. I tried all night. I had to walk to rail station to get tourist info and a decent map.
- Sandra C (10/5): Great Hotel - Great location, great staff and a great hotel.
- Steven James (8/5): - Lovely staff, nice rooms and comfortable beds. However, maintenance wasn't quite up to standard considering the price. Very convenient location!
- Cameron (10/5): - This is a very small room, but its clean and quiet. The hotel is next to the subway to most attractions. The front desk lady was wonderful, always smiling and wanting to help.
- Bao (6/5): - Property is cleaned with friendly staff, but room is small and tiny toilet so it feels cram
- Ingrid (8/5): Cute hotel in short distance from Gare du Nord - Great little hotel. Our room was practical and stylish. Big, comfortable bed. Nice, big bathroom. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. The not-so-positives: the price and poor Wi-Fi connection (quite inconvenient when combined with really poor cellular reception).
- Rowena (8/5): - It’s been a great stay. accessible to everything. Very friendly & helpful staff.
- Juan (10/5): - We had a room in the highest floor of the hotel, the ceiling was very high, felt very comfortable, shower head water amount and volume was great, convenient location very close to Metro Station, clean and friendly staff
- FEVZI (10/5): - Very nice cost hotel.
- Anna (10/5): - I filled out a survey for 11AM arrival and 3 adapters. Mistook it for early check in and 3 adapters. The hotel was very understanding and accommodating. We left our luggage with the front desk and checked in later. They ran out of adapters by the time we got settled in.
- Cédric (8/5): A pleasant stay - Pretty convenient hotel a few minutes away from Gare du Nord. The hotel is well maintained.
The person at the reception was VERY useful
- Craig (10/5): - Incredible staff! Great location, very clean, quiet, excellent experience!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Spacious queen size room and very friendly staff. - Excellent stay at the Best Western Premier, Faubourg. The queensize bed was incredibly comfortable and spacious. An exquisite bathroom with large walk in shower and also large bath tub made the stay very pleasant also.
I only tried the breakfast once at the weekend but didn't think too much of the buffet, it's Paris so lots of places to explore and to have breakfast elsewhere. Would definitely come back again!
- Abdias (8/5): - A bit old the hotel but well maintained. The air conditioner did not worked for a few hours but it was solved by the hotel staff.
- BeatrizGuadalupe (8/5): - The bathroom
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It’s easy to access the trains buses and metro or just walking.
- Kiki (8/5): - Dirty sheets with lots of hair and we needed to change it by ourselves
- Olivier (10/5): - Good location, friendly staff and room upgraded.
- Laureline (2/5): Awful - issues with deposit hold - Awful. Issues getting my deposit back after 2 weeks. Would not stay again!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good value. Extremely good fittings and furniture in the sub £100 category
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very spacious room, nice walk-in bathroom and at a walking distance from Gare du Nord.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great hotel, small rooms - Great stay, very clean very helpful.
Hotel road not so appealing and rooms very small.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good location.Really spacious rooms and pretty quite.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - keep an eye on room type!!!
small rooms!
was perfect for a quick stop!
- Matthew (6/5): Great foron a budget or for a night or two - Nice little hotel with reasonable rates. But the room was dirty and the carpet needs replacing. There were marks and stains on the walls. The shower and bathroom were amazing and literally the best shower of my life with high water pressure. Lots of amenities offered by the hotel. The room was noisy at night and you could hear the elevator as well as people in the center of the terrace. The service was friendly. Overall a good place for a night or two but I wouldn’t come back for longer stays.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Comfortable stay - Boutique style hotel in a convenient location.
- Denis (4/5): - Pictures not as advertised. Expedia should review listing and update. Foul odour in hotel and even upgraded room not to standard - cleaners forgot to clean rooms, and area is okay but staff and management ignore and do not attend to customer service concerns.
- Hope (6/5): - The front desk staff members were extremely polite and helpful. They even took pictures of us when we were headed out on an outing. Our room was small—typical of Paris—But suitable for our needs. My only complaint is that our room was not cleaned daily even though we requested it be. The floor was only vacuumed once during our six night stay, and that only occurred after we complained.
- Eva (10/5): - Great hotel, modern, nice and clean, 10 minutes walk from Gare du Nord. I had a correct price because i booked same day, not sure how expensive it would be otherwise.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. Every time we would leave the room we would come back to new bedsheets and the room all neat and tidy. Will stay here again when I visit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Good location, clean and really good facilities. The room was excellent
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its exactly as expedia said, good location to the city attractions, metro, shops etc
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good Service and good breakfast. The hotel is small and the room space is very limited but the place is clean and the bed was confortable
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Renewed rooms super clean and super confortable bed
- Sandra (8/5): - Pleasant hotel with very helpful staff.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Amazing!!!! - The staff was absolutely amazing and very helpful!!!! The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Great location!!!!
- Kathryn (8/5): - The room was small, but clean and comfortable. We chose this hotel because of its proximity to gate du nord as we were leaving for the train to CDG early in the morning.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, very spacious rooms, clean, great staff
- DrLightnerd (10/5): - Nice locatioN with clean well appointed rooms. A pleasant little private courtyard. Great, friendly and helpful staff!
- Danielle (2/5): - There were bugs in both rooms we stayed in. Shower in second room didn’t work...water was trickling against the wall. Room was so small we could barely walk around the bed. No place to put our luggage. Shower stall was very tight. Could barely turn when showering. No communication between staff members. We had to tell each new staff member that our AC was broken and we needed a new room.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Orbitz sold me this property claiming it had air conditioning. There was no air conditioning. Notified staff they didn't seem to care or speak English.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Despite a headache-inducing QR code design motif and hideous wall decals, our room was supremely comfortable, perfectly air-conditioned, and a remarkably quiet escape from the Fête se la Musique madness outside. The room (and bathroom) are surprisingly spacious by Parisian standards... shame some of that space wasn’t used for putting doors around the shower area so you don’t have to walk through a wet bathroom every time you need to use the toilet or the sink. All things being considered, those are just minor quibbles about an exceptionally comfortable room and terrifically friendly staff.
- Michael (6/5): Disappointing - Lovely rooms but not 4 star service. Mini bar not working and not fixed/swapped during 4 night stay. Offered to change rooms after we'd already unpacked. Bed sheets not changed once during stay, neither was the hand soap or other toiletries. Have definitely had better 3 star hotel stays. Wouldn't stay again for the price.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location, nice modern rooms. Friendly staff, nice breakfast and good value for money.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff was very nice to help me.
Room is a little bit small but cozy and clean.
- Alexander (4/5): Terrible breakfast - a shame in a pleasant hotel. - The hotel itself is fine. It is a pleasant boutique hotel in a good location. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms good although, if you ask for a bath rather than a shower, beware as, in the ground floor rooms, you have to go down a fairly steep staircase!
UNFORTUNATELY, the breakfast arrangements are a disgrace. The breakfast room is very small and the staff are appalling. When we were there they were rude and spent time talking to each other rather than clearing the tables for guests like us arrived when the room was full.
We were told we could not have breakfast until a table was available...which is fair enough. What is inexcusable is that the staff did not immediately clear the tables as people left so people coming after us had the same problem of dirty tables.
The breakfast itself was at the lower end of acceptable for an hotel in the Michelin but the final stupidity was that my wife asked for a second cup of tea and was told explicitly that she would have to pay a further 4 euros in addition to the amount charges of 14 euros. She declined!!
If you stay at the hotel, my advice would be to go out for breakfast
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Property was beautiful and in brilliant location. Staff were somewhat indifferent and appeared to want to be anywhere else but were still polite. Definitely recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Such a lovely spot!
The receptionist, upon arrival, was very welcoming and considering I can’t speak any French, she was comfortable speaking English without being rude or short. She gave us a map of the city and told us where everything was to see. The hotel is situated at least 15-25 min walk straight down to Notre Dame and the Louvre and you end up walking through such interesting streets with many boutique shops and cafes.
The room was clean and the whole place was tidy, quiet and stylish.
When I return to Paris I will be staying here again.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The neighborhood was a little sketch but the room was clean and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Gteay rooms very tidy and clean and modern aswell as superb staff very helpfull and friendly
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice place, good staff, and great location. There is also a shop next door for bottled water and a really nice bakery opposite for breakfast.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel was in a great location, with a nice clean and elegant room. The pictures didn’t quite match up with the rooms but we were pleased nonetheless. Staff were friendly. Albeit small rooms I think they are typical of Parisian hotels. The decor and design of the hotel was stylish and pleasing on the eye.
- Rudi (6/5): Not the best experience as minibar was smelly - Broken minibar for the whole stay !!! Not offered alternative room , actually it was smelly too ...
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice and clean hotel in great location. Great WiFi. Friendly staff
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice hotel, very helpful & friendly staffs. Close to metro and Gard du Nord. Nice restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Great location - very quiet, room is very small but bed is very Lafferty and comfortable.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Good location and friendly staff. Hotel itself clean and all seemed recently been refurbished. Although a big and comfortable bed, it took away almost the entire space of the room. I was travelling on my own with a small suitcase (hand luggage) and had troubles to fit it somewhere in the room.
Other than that, really nice hotel.
- Jane (8/5): Clean 0- maybe too clean? - The cleaning people were a bit too aggressive - meaning they threw out a couple items. When we discovered that these items were missing when we were packing to go home, the people at the desk said the cleaning crew hadn't found anything, and that the laundry had been sent out and it was too late.
- Antony (10/5): - Short stay in a small room but very clean one.
- Odette (10/5): - Very close to subway and bus station. Modern clean confortable. Lots of restaurant around. Our best stay in Paris. Because the room is not big there is no sofa and I wiould have like to sit comfortably after a big day walking.
- jas (10/5): - Slept very well - very quiet during night. Only 2 english speaking channels on tv. Shower and facilities very good. Staff struggled with english. Breakfast typical French style. Place kept clean at all times. 5 mins walk from rail station Nord and similar for blue line Big Red Bus tour. 20 min walk to Moulin Rouge area. All in all I would say very good.
- Amanda (8/5): - Hotel is very cute! Service wonderful, room is pretty small.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - everything was tre bonne in this Hotel. the Hotel is very Close to the Metro Station means well situatet
- K (8/5): Great location - Close to Gare du Nord. Really ideal for this location. Close to a mini supermarket and restaurants. Metro station literally on the door step. Felt like a boutique hotel. Junior suite surprisingly spacious. Tiny breakfast room but breakfast perfectly sufficient.
