Hotel é antigo, e cobra o uso do ar condicionado em separado, coisa que vcs não informam e com esse preço em dólar, existe muito hotéis na região bem melhores.

- 986arthurd (4/5): Old and dirty hotel - Old and dirty hotel. Our toilets were broken : you had to put the hands inside to use it. Climatisation is not included in the price : we decided to not pay for it. The owner went into our Room while we were outside to take the remote control! Its not worth 25 €!

- mncrbest (6/5): Faded glory now looking tatty. - Centrally located,sort of,with six massive rooms per floor and a roof top swimming pool (small). Grand entrance reception area belies what comes next.My room 1106 had two massive beds,cracked lino at the bathroom entrance, a defective shower head, a mini bar fridge which did not work and was then replaced,and of the two lifts that served the entire building,one was out of action for the entire three days of my stay. Not clever. Oh and the half bottle of red wine is not gratis,it has to be paid for. Corkscrew/bottle opener in on a chain which just about sums the place up ! Good nights sleep for all that and good range of choices for breakfast. If you want an omelette it is at extra cost. No restaurant and no bar but plenty of options in the vicinity. The place needs a good makeover but you get what you pay for.

Ambiente: muito barulho, não tem isolamento. Ao redor tem lanchonetes, posto e unidade policial, região bem tranquila.

- rosario-ms (8/5): Good price, very basic service - I give 4 points because, as a 2* Hotel, it is OK. It was clean, the room was OK. The location is not central but close, and it is next to San Martín Park. Breakfast is quite poor: for 2 people they served 2 croissant, 2 "tortitas" (a local kind of flat bread, nothing special at all) and some biscuits. Coffee was bad. Juice was not natural.

- Guille (4/5): Te cobran el aire acondicionado a parte!!! - El hotel no es de lo más malo que ví pero por lo que te cobran se convierte en uno de pésima calidad de servicio. Además si querés aire acondicionado en la habitación te lo cobran como adicional. Los cuartos son modestos y con olor a encierro. La internet muy lenta. El desayuno es bueno como la atención del personal.

- TheFatMansPassport (2/5): Not as advertised - Unfortunately my experience of this hotel was not good. In fact, I would venture to say that it is one of the worst hotels that I have ever stayed at. The bathroom was old with a plastic toilet seat the kept unhinging and a shower that is so small it leaks as water everywhere on the floor. The towels were so hard that it actually scratched my skin open. There was NO airconditioning, despite the 36+ degree weather, only a ceiling fan that moved hot air around. The mattress did not fit the bed and the sheets were uncomfortable and hard. The breakfast was cookies and a bun with jam and a cup of coffee. If the staff were not so friendly I would have given this hotel a zero rating. In the 3 days that I stayed there, there was not someone to clean or change my sheets or towels once.

- Siegi (4/5): Sehr freundliches Personal, altes Hotel - Das überaus freundliche Personal hat mit seiner Hilfsbereitschaft alle Mängel des leider sehr abgewohnten Hotels wettgemacht. Glückwunsch zu diesen netten Leuten! Das Hotel müsste von Grund auf saniert werden, vor allem die Sanitäranlagen (Spülkästen und Duschen). Das Frühstück ist argentinisch: Kaffee und Croissants mit Butter und Marmelade. Zur Straße hin sind die Zimmer sehr laut, da es sich um eine Hauptstraße handelt. Das Zentrum (Plaza de la Independencia, Fußgängerzone) ist ca. 1 km entfernt, der Park San Martín ca. 500 m.

- marli a f marques (6/5): - As tolhas e os lençóis eram encardidos, os lençóis nem foram trocados em uma estadia de 5 dias, café da manhã com pouquíssimas opções, afastado do centro da cidade, era necessário uma caminha de cerca de 30 minutos para alcançar o centro.
- Marco Antonio (2/5): Decepção total - Muitos foram os problemas, ao chegarmos ao hotel não havia quarto disponível o hotel estava lotado e não havia outra opção na cidade aí sem alternativa fomos acomodados em um pequeno quarto com uma cama de solteiro para o casal, quarto tinha cheiro de mofo e era minúsculo, durante a madrugada fomos chamados e recolocados em outro quarto com duas camas de solteiro, não fomos se quer registrados na recepção do hotel

- Gilda (10/5): Buen hotel - Un hotel agradable para estar en familia, solo o en pareja. La atención del personal es muy amable y siempre tratan de solucionarte los problemas. Solo una vez el wi-fi falló y lo solucionaron de inmediato. El desayuno es rico. El lugar donde está situado no queda tan lejos del centro, 7 cuadras hasta la linea del tren, además está al ladito del parque san martín y está al frente de una gasolinería que abre las 24hrs por si necesitas algo a media noche. Las habitaciones son limpias y cómodas. Lugar recomendable, buena relación precio-calidad. Volvería!

Since I had problems with my reservation in a Hostel, i came early Morning to Hotel América: i got all the help i needed: the crew is so kind and responsible. The place is well located( close by San Martin's park) this area is cheaper than the others and you can walk safe to everywhere. I definitely recommend this place
- 714sunnyk (4/5): Less than average! - Location and breakfast are pretty good but it overrates most of condition! When I visited Mendoza, it was autumn. But it was extremely cold to sleep in... Thankfully I only stayed one night as it was on my way to Buenos aires. The important thing for me is bathroom (shower, cleanliness), but it was also pretty bad. I would say it is better to find another option to stay in Mendoza. Mendoza is definitely beautiful city so I wish I don't ruin your memory :)
- jachaves1922 (6/5): Just for the day - Nice breakfast, near Parque Mendoza (mafalda's), good internet connection, little too expensive for their quaility rooms. Ubication: it's not far from Mendoza downtown, good hotel if you are just to get some rest.
- pulgadamus (6/5): Average - It is a good hotel when you are in tight budget. Personally, it works great since every time I go to Mendoza is for tennis tournaments, and the clubs are located extremely close to this hotel (pretty much on the Park). It is not far from Mendoza downtown, Aristides Avenue and Civil Avenue (where most of the nicest restaurants and bars are located). Prices are pretty low, and you get a decent room with a decent breakfast. Something excellent is the treatment of the people who works there. They are extremely nice, and they adapt to your needs, such us, leaving after chack out time without charginf you extra or letting you have dinner there on the lobby. To conclude, I would recommend this hotel.
